I have donated for two reasons. Firstly , I believe that there is a small chance that the site might contribute to the overthrow of the BBC. Secondly, its the best investment I can make to protect my health as I see the liberal left doing its best to wreck our country. Without the support and connivance of the over mighty BBC, they wouldn’t have stood a chance. The British would have told em to stick their suicidal migration policy up their backside.I hate the BBC for their distortions, censorship and out right lies.

Is there an alternative to PayPal? The last time there was an appeal I opened a PayPal account,. That precipitated endless grief until PayPal graciously let me close the account and I was still unable to contribute. Unfortunately I’m still getting alerts from all over the world traceable to my short relationship with PayPal.

If the BBC lived up to its charter and provided a news service, political commentary, educational programs, documentaries as information of whats happening with no politcal leanings left or right – I will happly subscribe to keep it going when the Licence fee is eventually abolished – as it stands no chance

Go to Guido Fawkes site, check out the Asst Gen Sec of the Unite union effectively calling for the murder of the richest 85 people in the world in a London bus ‘accident’. Quite remarkable and sinister, i fired off a complaint by e-mail to the Unite website giving them some grief over it, i would like to see many more read the article and do the same, please. Firstly, my apologies for the trolls who infest the thread. As always, they talk trash but I guess it makes up for them not having a life.

Seriously, you make plenty of money out of the BBC (£240 a show, what 10x a year?) – wouldn’t there be something quite appropriate out of using their money to fund a site dedicated to their downfall.

How much are you hoping to raise? The reason I ask is that you can get website hosting for about a fiver a month, so I’m surprised a fundraising drive is necessary. 🙂

Thanks David to you and all involved in running this site. Have overseen Mr D making a donation. He asked if it did any good? I said it did my blood pressure a lot of good and provides me with support and ammunition with complaints to Auntie.
I enjoy calling the BBC ‘Auntie’ as it gives me a vision of Auntie Wainwright from Last of the Summer Wine which isn’t the image that Mr Purnell, Danny Cohen etc obviously think of themselves. But Auntie Wainwright is a much better business person than they will ever be so the title isn’t quite right.

Can I ask what the payment is towards?
I would have thought that the only cost apart from time for running a forum has to be the cost of renewing your domain name each year (about a tenner). I imagine that there are plenty of free forum templates that you can use and adapt without specialist IT expertise.
