Victoria Derbyshire proudly read out an email today praising 5Live’s coverage of Cyril Smith’s activities.
The emailer said that listening to the revelations was ‘Chilling…but why I listen to 5Live.’
Can only assume the listener was happy with the BBC’s more leisurely approach to reporting the Mail’s revelations about Labour’s Harriet Harman and Co at the NCCL and their relationship with the Paedophile Information Exchange.
That *emailer* could be sitting in an office next door to the 5live studio.

Funny they couldn’t be so free with their opinions whilst Smith was alive. It’s almost as if they have little confidence in the ‘evidence’ and were frit.
Now, where have we heard that story before?
she is a strange woman,a damm strange woman is are vicky, have you noticed how aggressive vicky has become just lately.this week has been no exception with steam coming out of her ears when she gets many texts accusing her of left wing and liberal bias,boy does she not like that,as for old harriet harman,she is becoming a bit of a regular now on radio 5 live,that was not the case a few weeks ago when her links to the paedophile information exchange was revealed,i get the funny feeling that harriet harman has told radio 5 live and the bbc that she wont appear on there phone ins if they bring up her disgusting links to p.i.e.bad news harriet,us voters will never forget about that my lady as oscar pistorius would say.
Well, that would be because the BBC is impartial, whereas the Mail was regurgitating old news for political reasons.
The Harman link to PIE was tenuous but it is odd that that doesn’t seem to matter to the BBC when a Tory is involved. I remember Newsnight running as the lead story the fact that an acquaintance of a Tory councillor had sent him an email being rude about a disabled Labour councillor.
