Dan Hodges in the Telegraph is comedy gold again. How his followers hate him, but UKIP will be making a lot of ground through his comments. Quite right, too.
Funny, but I don’t recall Johnny Morris ever using his position as a celebrity BBC presenter and lover of animals in order to mobilise public opinion either for or against the Common Market.
Just wouldn’t happen in the good old days of the BBC.
I have previously highlighted Nicky Campbell’s dubious Twitter activity and here is another clear attempt to push a story – and indeed to ferment angry responses – which will only help smear UKIP
Now see Campbell’s Twitter blatantly egging on an animal rights campaigner. Note: he seems to me NOT to be asking for a quote in any journalistic sense, or in fact to be helping any anti-ivory efforts in any practical sense – he seems to simply be actively campaigning against UKIP
Dr. Paula Kahumbu @paulakahumbu 5 hrs
@ImageOfWildlife @TheCitizenTZ Tanzania is losing 10000 elephants per year – it has been on the list of shame for some time! .sad!
The hit-pieces are coming thick and fast, and we’re still some weeks away. You can smell the desperation in every article and piece of video. Imagine what it will be like in the few days leading up to May 22nd?
The usual suspects will all pile in to do their bit to subvert the democratic vote; so we can expect the massed battalions of BBC comrades lining up to present their anti-UKIP propaganda pieces, along with the likes of Channel 4’s ever-willing Jon Snow (a fully signed up leftist fellow traveller if ever there was one) and of course most of the newspapers, etc.
It’ll be fun. Every time these muppets launch another ill-advised and woefully inept attack on UKIP you can almost see the votes for them rising on the totaliser, lol. Roll on May 22nd – can’t wait to watch the Bolshevik Brainwashing Comintern go into meltdown…
The hit pieces are coming thick and fast and they will have an effect on those who trust media commentators.
It’s the bloggers who are fighting back. Delingpole nails them at Breitbart and that Ruthless Truth guy has a great post about how the LibLabCon are mentally ill in “Far Left Nut Job Seems Normal” at:
We can but hope.
And also 2 shillings short of a pound. There’s a great post that differentiates Ukip from the rest by suggesting the others have a disease.
The undemocratic European Union bureaucracy which you Beeboids support, and get a subsidy from, does not only rule Brussels:-
“European elections: Race for EU top jobs”
By Laurence Peter,
BBC News.
[Opening paragraph]:-
“The coming months will see big leadership changes in the EU. The bloc’s most famous faces – EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton – are all ending five-year terms, though who will replace them is not clear.
“Of the three posts the most powerful is Commission president, running the Brussels bureaucracy which drafts EU laws and enforces compliance with EU treaties.
“Will the new leaders be elected?
No. Although elections are being held in May for the European Parliament, none of these posts is subject to direct public vote.”
This has been the truth all along. If we go bye bye EU.
I would not put anything and I mean anything past the EU to stop us having a referendum and leaving. Be prepared.
This a very timely book, with the E.U elections coming up.
Beeboids won’t like it: here’s a ‘book description’-
“Book Description (Amazon)-
“‘The surrender of our sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats and a centralised legislative process has been justified solely in economic terms. But, as David Green points out in this powerful book, even if the economic arguments are good ones (which they are not), the question of EU membership is not primarily one of economics. It is about the happiness and cohesion of our nation, and the civilisation of which we have been, in Europe, the prominent guardians. The true argument is not that it is economically advisable to reclaim our sovereignty, but that it is our moral duty to do so.’ Roger Scruton ‘Amidst the technical jargon and diplomatic double-talk, the debate over Britain’s future relationship with the European Union is fundamentally about values. In this thoughtful new book, David Green serves a damning indictment on the EU, charging it with a wholesale attack on the principles of liberal democracy and self-determination, in the name of a progressive authoritarianism at odds with British moral and political values. This intellectual rearguard action is sure to strike a nerve in Brussels, and open a new front in the debate on Europe.’ Dominic Raab MP ‘David Green’s book is a timely and elegant new perspective on a problem which has been frustrating politicians ever since we entered the European Union. His analysis and conclusions should be read by every politician and citizen who wants to enhance their view on what is the best future for our country as we approach the crossroads of a decision in 2017.’ David Davis MP ‘Since the enlightenment progressives from across the political spectrum have believed their governments should be chosen by the people. The electorate should regularly have the opportunity to throw out the rascals. The creation of the EU removes that right. David Green is doing democracy a favour by writing this important book.’ Graham Stringer MP ‘This book, historically, politically and constitutionally, hits the nail on the head. This should be the subject of a widespread debate which has been deliberately driven underground by the Euro-cognoscenti, who know that otherwise they cannot win. Failure to have this debate in the light of the undemocratic Leviathan which has been created is simply an irresponsible defiance of the electorate in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe.’ Bill Cash MP.”

On the World at One there was discussion of what was on offer to the Scots if they vote no to independence. Labour are falling over themselves to offer anything and everything, just so long as the Scots can keep sending 41 plus Labour MPs to Westminster. The BBC interviewer failed to ask Labour what would happen in Westminster re the voting rights of Scots MPs, if Scotland votes no but gets devomax as a reward for staying in the Union.
Surely even the BBC must realise that the citizens of RUK are not going to stand for Scots having devomax without the powers of their Westminster MPs to vote on RUK issues being removed. If devomax happens Westminster is dead and there will have to be separate governments , all with equal powers, in each of the four countries in a much looser federal state .
Of course Labour will resist this because they know that England will be much more Tory than the UK has been and that they will be unlikely to gain power in England. The BBC will try to use their propaganda machine to ensure it doesn’t happen because the BBC may be casualty of such a change. They can be sure that a Tory England will be much less sympathetic to their liberal left world view than the UK has been. So once again the BBC will try its best to ignore the voice of the English, or what’s left of us anyway, and denigrate and demonise anyone who does speak for us.
But can we be sure that the current left wing Tory party has any interest at all in curbing the BBC and its globalist one-world redistributive/socialist views?
To me even the most right wing Tories aren’t ring wing enough by half.
Call me Dave doesn’t really care – he sees Call me Tony on a million a year talking circuit, and failing that, father-in-law Reginald Sheffield will leave behind a million a year income from fuel-poverty subsidised windfarms. And dopey-Dave says his most proud achievement is giving your taxes away to third-world countries with space programmes.
Meanwhile the Marxist-droids at the BBC just want to be left to live the life of Riley without accountability off the back of a Labour government, payback.
It was never truer said: follow the money.
Nothing new about Russian Bombers proping uk air defence for example http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1260381/RAF-jets-intercept-Russian-bombers-flying-British-airspace.html. from 2010. Ever since Putin decided that Russia was going to be a major player once more this has been an on going situation. The irony is of course that the TU-160 were based in the Ukraine in the days of the Soviet Union, and I suspect that Ukraine has more to do with the running of the story rather than what I suspect is a relatively common event.
Two conflicting reports on murders of three American doctors in KABUL.
1.) ‘Jihadwatch’:-
“Afghan security guard murders three American doctors at hospital”
[Opening excerpt]:-
A security guard. This was a man who was put in a position of trust, and who was assumed to be someone who supported the presence of American doctors in Afghanistan, and wanted to protect them from jihadists. Instead, he turned out to be a jihadist himself. Yet when I have stated the quite obvious truth that there is no distinction between peaceful Muslims and violent jihadis, i.e., peaceful Muslims have not pronounced them non-Muslims and put them out of mosques and Islamic authorities have not declared that those who believe in the Islam of al Qaeda and other groups like it is not a Muslim, I’m smeared as a ‘bigot’ and an ‘Islamophobe.’ Perhaps those who hired this security guard could explain to us exactly what that distinction consists of.” http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/04/afghan-security-guard-murders-three-american-doctors-at-hospital
2.) INBBC.
This report includes ‘Jamaica Inn’ quality sound (on video clip) from some sing-song voiced local INBBC Afghan.
“‘Climate of fear’ after US medics killed at Kabul hospital”
Wandered into the kitchen at around 4pm just in time to hear the introduction to ‘Last Word’. Wasn’t really paying attention until I heard the words (paraphrased) ‘And we would like to advise members of the Aboriginal communities that this programme contains names of the dead.’
Somebody please tell me it wasn’t serious, or at least provide a rational explanation (I didn’t hang around to listen to the programme as I can’t stand it – just another vehicle for the BBC’s overbearing self-regard and smug self-justification).
Did it contain flash photography?
Or at least the sound of a flashbulb?
Because I`m feeling a bit giddy now, and require a mobility scooter and a matching Blue Badge.
Peter White will want to describe my condition of aural affective disorder…get a lot of irritation and angry patches on my skin when I hear Last Word.
Not all bad news though-it served to tell me two former BBC types have reduced the pensions black hole by popping off.
It`s turning into a BBC obituary column..but there again, who`s NOT on the BBC payroll that is a liberal phoney and gobshite for the chatterati these days.
S`pose the BBC do this programme so they don`t have to send any flowers to the widow(or inevitable life partner of significance, given this is the BBC).
White poppy wreath round Tony Halls neck?…a fetching garland for the death of the Allah-awful BBC.
Might it not be worth finding an Aborigine who was in the Leppings Lane Stand at Hillsborough?
You may mock-but there were well over 1000 of them at Mid-Staffs , so Andy Burnham and Labour seem to imagine.
Once someone has died, their name is never spoken as this will call back their spirit. This is a widespread Aboriginal belief and accommodated as far as possible.
While the belief may seem illogical to us, I don’t think an obituary piece designed to commemorate someones achievements is the moment to challenge it. If her family listened (as seems likely) via the BBC website then it would have caused distress and this allowed that to be minimised.
INBBC Persian service (funded by British people) has narrow focus on Hijab and women’s right not to wear it in Islamic Republic of Iran, avoids Obama’s appeasement on Iran.
Compare:-
1.) ‘Jihadwatch’:-
“U.S. doesn’t object, so Iran gets a seat on U.N. women’s rights body”
By Robert Spencer.
[Opening excerpt]:-
“Here is why this is so evil and absurd, from the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center:
“The real issue is that hijab—or proper Islamic dress—is still compulsory for women in Iran’s streets and public places and failure to cover accordingly can result in imprisonment or a hefty fine.
“The real issue is that in today’s Iran divorce is a husband’s unilateral right but if a woman seeks to divorce her husband she must prove he has either abandoned her or is mentally ill, abusive, or a drug addict.”
Great television, watched it all.
No wonder the liberal elite pined when Frost bit the pillow.
A content free gadfly in the reflected light of greatness-just as all his worthless pampered successors all turn out to be.
All those resources, researchers, audience muppets and bogus red herrings(no other colour allowed)…and Enoch reduces them to thick cretins who can`t even define their own cliches.
Fine telly-we`d never get it today.
Frost`s greatest hour-and he was shit!
What a man Enoch was and how we need someone of his calibre and integrity today. Frosty could barely lay a glove on him, even when being fed questions through his ear piece. The figures that Mr Powell quoted have turned out to be an under estimate, and of course he couldn’t have predicted the treacherous horror of Blair’s three terms of open door immigration. Poor old Enoch wouldn’t recognise great swathes of our country today; we have been “enriched” out of existence.
and … with these upcoming elections, the BBC its rampant UKIP bashing, the beebs deceit over the in/out of the European Union etc etc …
I must admit for me to listen to the man
“pure indulgence” too
Enoch Powell on the European Union (EEC)
So many parallels to whats happening today, for Mr Powell read Mr Farage and for David Frost read Robinson, Snow and Crick etc. Digusting treatment of an intelligent, brave and exonerated man.
The BBC have announced they will have five guest presenters on Woman’s Hour. An eclectic mix of women offering various perspectives? Or just a roll call of right-on ‘wimmin’ pushing the usual line?
Here’s the list of names so you can judge for yourself;
J K Rowling – Labour supporter
Doreen Lawrence (who?) – Labour peer
Naomi Alderman – Guardian columnist
Lauren Laverne – Lefty. I’ll add a link to her New Statesman interview.
Dame Kelly Holmes.
Bias. Bias. Bias. All paid for by the licence payer under threat of criminal conviction.
what is the biggest threat to the west asks david bumblebee as his first question tonight on any questions on slag the ukip party off on radio 4, radical islam or vlad the impaler putin he asks,we all know what is the biggest threat to the west and it aint old putin babe.what was the responce from the politacaly correct panel, well no mention of radical islam at all, tony blair is right, the west should patch there differences up with russia and china and take on radical islam head on.
Hate to say it but Blair is right. This demonising of Putin is ridiculous. He is no furry bunny but he is not the demon the liberals are making him out to be. Russia is now a conservative country and moving further to the right. It is our last best hope of keeping Western Europe safe.
We ourselves will never have the guts anymore to do it. Liberalism has fatally weakened our will to survive. You only have to look at Sweden. The price will be Russian overlordship but maybe that will be better than our destruction.
I have my reasons but ever since the days of Gorbechev I have thought that this was the long term aim of Russia. To restore it’s power and protect and dominate Europe. When the US leaves, and they will go, who else will fill the power vacuum?
As stated the empty property I call on to check receives at least one threat letter a month. You would have thought that their magic scanning technology would have revealed there is no television in the property or at the moment electricity. The Goons trampling the plants in the front garden to try and look in obviously doesn’t work either.
I know exactly what you mean. I look in on an empty house which belongs to a friend who is abroad. Every time I go, there are TV licence letters blocking the door, along with flyers from pizza parlours, and about as welcome. There is no way to persuade the TV licencing morons that a property is really empty and has no TV. At least the pizza man is spending his own money on his junk mail.
A small example of how British licence-payers will be financing broadcasting to the world’s people; in this case, it so happens, for the expansion of provision to the Muslim audience of INBBC Hausa in Nigeria:-
Another shamless and endless display of anti UKIP diatribe on Have I Got News For You tonight, with almost libellous attacks on Nigel Farage (alcoholic and a prick). Imagine the same being said of Milliband, Clegg or Cameron.
The beeboid lefty smugness of Hislop, Merton and Jo Coburn was off the scale tonight.
Comedy has for a long time been a tool used by the left. One can only hope that the British public will see through this tyranny of malicious subterfuge. Hislop and Merton are laughing at the majority of the people of this country, they sit in their media ivory towers and piss on us all from a great height.
Merton’s a prick. A self-satisfied, smug, arrogant prick.
It was beyond disgraceful tonight. I’d hazard a guess that at least 15 minutes were devoted to ripping UKIP apart, with not one tongue lashing aimed at Labour or Milliband.
The media, spearheaded by the BBC, are doing all they can to dismantle UKIP, but failing miserably in their quest. It’s a shame, nay, an outrage, that the licence fee is utilized to tear apart a parties reputation without fear of reprisals.
This isn’t really comedy at all. It is self-important propaganda-based sloganeering – only finding a response in a politically receptive audience. So-called funny lines are little more than ‘urgh, look at that thing WE don’t like, nur-nur nur-nur-nur.’
Only watched HIGNFY last night because my husband enjoys it. Even he, who would never dream of voting UKIP, after sitting through a quarter an hour or so of UKIP-bashing, turned to me at one point, sighed, and said “they don’t half get a bit smug at times”.
No doubt the producers would counter by saying that they made a few Milliband jokes – look, no bias here! But the difference is that jokes about the Milliband brothers are based around their geekishness, not about their policies. “Jokes” about Farage and UKIP (and presumably the Tories, but I can’t remember whether they were the focus of any “jokes” last night) are based on the premise that Farage and UKIP are, basically, undesirable and evil.
They were all shite and so is Jools Holland! Britpop was overrated, its something that only the bBC are celebrating probably because it heralded the arrival of Blair…
Well, I try to make only fair criticism of the bbbc when I do post but I must say that I had the misfortune to watch HIGNFY this evening (the one with that awful creature Jo Coburn). Well, there wasn’t even any attempt to hide the pro labour/anti UKIP bias. There must have been 15 minutes of a half an hour program dedicated to just a blatant slag off of UKIP and the episode generally wasn’t even very funny either for a supposed comedy programme. Hislop, who tends to position himself as the lone, academic voice of the silent, English middle class should be ashamed of himself as he just joins in with the rest of the luvvies all laughing there socks off at UKIP.
I really do despair that there will ever be any level headed presentations from the bbbc…….Mind you Sky News is just as bad these days
All to the good in my view. The more desperate they get the better. I have reservations about Farage. He is a politician after all. I hope that minds are made up and that whatever the elite does the UKIP vote is solid.
More of a demonstration that an election. The first necessary step in driving the elite from power .
Ignore the BBC . It is a lost cause. Think of Pravda and Isvestia circa 1990. About the level of the BBC now.
Having watched yesterday’s HIGNFY, I repeat my message to the Trustees of the BBC…
“You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.”
Which is why I never watch have I got news for you. I’ve been more enthralled recently by the TV movie extravaganza that is Movies 4 Men. There was even a documentary on yesterday morning about the Avro Shackleton.
Gave up watching that about 10 years ago, I just got bored with the snide comments, I just grew up and they get the questions before hand, it’s all scripted.
And when the audience laughs it sounds like canned laughter, they have an audio machine to make the laughter louder than it appears, it’s deafening.
You must remember that for many in the middle classes the EU is a good thing because it allows them to go on holiday in agreeable places without faffing around changing money too often. I have genuinely heard that cited (by a fairly well-off middle class German) as a reason not to hate the EU.
Enoch Powell on Desert Island Discs from 1989, his musical choices are Beethoven and Wagner.
Contrast and compare, when Powell retired he spent his time reading the New Testament in the original Greek. Tony Blair spends his time on a private jet flying around the world raking in the money. And Gordon Cyclops Brown spends his time at the U.N behaving like an arse.
The musical choices that politicians pick on Desert Island Discs are very revealing and it tells you more about them than what they actually say.
Powell liked Beethoven and Wagner. While in the case of Tony Blair and Cyclops Brown, they’re ticking boxes, ” what do the public like ? oh the Beatles, I’ll pick that jingle so I’ll be popular.”
Tony Blairs choices
1.Ezio
2.The Beatles ( groan )
3. Samuel Barber, get the high brow vote.
4. Bruce Sprinsteen
I believe Osborne and Gove were seen sneaking into the Royal Opera House for Wagner’s Ring a couple of years ago.
It would be interesting to hear them on Desert Island Discs. Would they stick to their guns or opt for the same cool, down with the kids stuff that you’ve identified.
As you say, it’s the phoniness that grates more than anything.
Another irritating thing is why do white British people sing in a black ghetto, ebonic babble, accent, as if they come from Harlem or South Central LA ? From Elgar to rap ( which is just poetry for retards ) in 50 years. My IQ went into a tailspin after listening to this torture.
I’m guessing Bliar’s choice was Barber’s Adagio for Strings – ‘the Barber one’ everyone’s heard off. Played at JFK’s funeral, and even acid trance whatevs hero William Orbit does a version.
Newswatch this morning, the subject of making the MUFC sacking of Moyes the top item, using up 6 minutes of a prime time news bulletin.
Bbc editor comes on the defend their decision:
The defence?
We are right because we say we are, so basically fuck off plebs.
Bastards.
It wasn’t just “Have I got news for you?” that fulfilled its remit to pedal leftist agenda yesterday, the “Now Show” on Radio 4 even had a “white” racist joke at the very end of the programme. The word “White” was a deliberate attempt to denigrate ALL those who are white and, to the view of the lefties within the BBC, in a privileged position. If the word “White” had been replaced by the word “Black”, I can assure you all hell would have now broken loose and Tottenham would now be on fire. Have a listen to this cringeworthy far left diatribe all brought to you by a Far Left propaganda group calling themselves the BBC.
“In the Netherlands many polls are predicting the maverick anti-immigration politician Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) will win the European elections being held on 22 May”
Whilst I feel very sorry that a man has died I couldn’t help but notice that the BBC journalist Mr Mokuro who died in the Bahamas had gone there to make a BBC documentary AND attend a wedding. Now I cannot help wondering who paid for his flights and how much of a coincidence that the wedding was at the same time?
Another eerie coincidence is the frequency with which John Humphrys, who just happens to have property in Greece and whose son lives there is selected to comment and interview in Greece local politicians and demonstrators.
Can set your calendar by him.
If Golden Dawn are not causing concern to him and his team now…they surely will be when the houseboy needs a zero-hour agreement.
June 18th I predict…and there`ll be lots of investigations into climate change as it affects Rio surfing conditions too I expect.
F888in troughers…the lot of `em!
Shirley you must know that so much of BBC’s programming arises from the ‘favoured talents’ going on holiday, five star and front of the plane, with a camera crew, four star and back of the plane, to accompany them.
Or maybe a huge gap in our cultural learning really was filled by Victoria Pigthickshire p*ssing off to Brazil ‘ahead of the world cup’.
I do hope that the game is nearly up for the BBC. But I worry that things could only get worse.
As the former panel show Have I Got News.. rapidly assimilates itself to the Leftist politics of the Guardian inspired Newsnight and as the actual Newsnight descends into the overgrown adolescence of Have I Got News.. – it really is leaving the poor Licence Payer the choice between a rock and a hard place.
Dimbleby exclaims that he hasn’t had enough of Question Time (despite the show going Scotch in a bad way) and he threatens to step aside only ‘kicking and screaming’. Kirsty Wark meanwhile is touted as the underemployed potential replacement chairman to tick the Balding boxes – female and bent (politically I mean). Can you just imagine – to paraphrase the bard on the blasted heath – by the pricking of my thumbs, this way that witch comes.
Further down market Nicky – how-does-my-hair-look Campbell will only leave his standing seat at The Big Question poncing and preaning. Got any religious nuts for us Nicky – we could do with a laugh. And that was the BBC’s religious and moral programming for the week.
You want worse than that? Ever heard of BBC3? Well read page 101 of Ed Miliband’s 2015 Labour manifesto where he will promise to up the Licence Fee so as to reinstate it.
BBC London evening news at 6.30pm on Friday: The upcoming Tube Strike; apparently, if one is to believe the BBC, the general public are 100% behind the strike. All those interviewed (2) were right-on, support the workers types, whereas I would have thought that the vast majority of those commuting to and from work in London, will be extremely peeved with the RMT. Bob Crow lives ! At the BBC.
I believe it`s free transport all day as long as you have a black armband on, or can wave a ticket to Rio.
It`s what the bald lardarse would have wanted.
bBC Points West were harping on all day about the lack of ethnic organ donors.
They were careful with the examples show, all decent assimilated types who more than deserved their treatment, yet at no point did they question why there was a problem.
We were told that of the total of those waiting for a donor 30% are ethnic, yet only 2% of donors are such. If our population is only approx 12% ethnic (2011) why such a high figure for those in need? Why was that not questioned, this is the elephant in the room – 3rd world health tourism and problems linked to consanguinity. This high figure of course is also why the NHS is stretched, but again the question was not asked….
The inference was that West Indians were also in need, yet the report preferred to follow the Muslim Mayor in his quest and concluded with a piece to camera outside of a local mosque, its seems these are the donors they are really after ….
Pardon my ignorance but I don’t know much about the biology of organ implantation. Why do we need more ‘ethnic’ donors? Aren’t we all supposed to be the same under the skin? Isn’t a black mans liver as good as a white man’s and interchangeable? Or is this not the case?
Scroll down to “Why should minorities be concerned about organ donation ?” and it seems that there are indeed differences between us, hence the current campaign. Obviously biology hasn’t got on message with the “We’re all the same, la la la.” meme yet. Nasty, reactionary old biology. Boo. Probably votes UKIP, too.
Health tourism as well. They discover a sudden desire to become a British citizen when they realise they need a transplant that they can’t get in their own country.
Geert Wilders manages to be popular yet criticized as too extreme.
The BBC message is in the last sentence: it’s austerity which fuels racist xenophobia whether from Wilders, Le Pen, or Farage. Standard Marxist line which will be trotted out at every election victory of the anti EU parties.
“He also fuses his traditional anti-immigration rhetoric with Euroscepticism – an intense revulsion of sovereign power being eroded by what he refers to as “the monster in Brussels”. And it’s a message finding a receptive audience in the austerity-struck Netherlands”.
On Today this morning the case of the Latvian convicted (near) rapist was highlighted. The victim was interviewed and claimed (quite rightly IMHO) that waiting 12 months for this creep to be “assessed” before being sentenced is ludicrous in general and nasty for her in particular. Then, purely coincidentally of course – given that Labour is touting a “victims crisis” – Today brought on “Lord” Starmer the Labour creep who is fronting this particular Labour policy.
Mishal told us that no-one “official” consented to be interviewed which, at a stretch (this is the BBC after all), I can just about believe. However, was there no-one in all the world except a Labour mouthpiece to comment? The question, in respect of the BBC’s choice of interviewees, answers itself. As long as Labour has the BBC onside it’s got no worries in getting extensive favourable coverage of every last one of its policy “initiatives” before the listening/viewing public.
Is anybody keeping tabs on these kind of puff pieces?
I can hardly remember the last time a Tory was allowed to speak towards his partys policy.
How come Milibands “zero hours 9a.m” crap for Glasgow is deemed something the rest of us need to debate or to have an option on, for example?
As opposed to Labours Co-Op/Unity Bank mallarkey and the roles of Paul Flowers and Ed Balls in creating this scandal?
And why the hell do we need to listen to Keir(clue`s in the name!) re a current justice scandal, when he himself created so many like this, as well as the culture of human rights that allows our Latvian pal to run rings around our appalling legal system-backs broken under Labour, as much as the current crop of shite.
Got to be at least a 5:1 ratio of Labour to Tory…and the policies discussed are inevitably Labours…or discussion for the next labour lot to include in their manifestos-free focus groups of Hampstead provided by the f888in` BBC.
Earlier, on Today, Mishal (?) was troubled that the trivial revelations concerning UKIP disclosed in the MSM were having no apparent effect on its support. She brought on 2 political commentators (one from the Speccie and another who I failed to identify) to discuss UKIP’s teflon coating. As an intro to the discussion, UKIP’s failings were, more or less, comprehensively listed and then the 3 of them got down to the business of asking “what do we do about this?”
Obviously, according to the commentariat, a substantial proportion of the electorate is being grossly irresponsible for intending to vote outside the big tent of LabLibCon? The solution is, apparently, to highlight UKIP’s alleged “incompetence”. This strategy was suggested as if the present crap in office and their predecessors were within shouting range of “competence”.
So now we know how desperate the political class really is. They have no clue as to how to combat UKIP or, rather, the dissatisfaction with “politics as usual” which underlies much of UKIP’s support. Accordingly, I suggest that we brace ourselves for an avalanche of lies and distortion (together with panic inducing reportage concerning possible war in Ukraine) from the BBC and the MSM (both right- and left-wing) up to and including polling day (22 May).
I’m concerned that now that it’s obvious that the anti-UKIP smears aren’t working some poor sod in UKIP is going to be framed for something so that they can splash an arrest just before May 22nd.
The BBC need to follow D Camerimam s lead & syphon in T Ramadan as an advisor
(his grandpappy only founded the MB)
or maybe his brother?
“All the evil in the world originates from the Jews and the Zionist barbarism”
.. so that their coverage is a bit more … “balanced”
This appears to be another case of the MSM thinking it knows best. While true they gave a fair exposure to Wilders points of view, the objective appeared once more to be aimed at rubbishing his political chances, by various means.
However, lets await the actual voting results…perhaps the media may have to report a shock.
Remember that Question time where “Fitna” came under discussion? Remember that Monty Don coming out with his I haven’t seen it but I’m sure it was terrible, or words to that effect.
Yet again double standards in reporting at the BBC.
Don’t doubt for one minute that there would be any let up from the vermin in the BBC if a prospective Tory councillor had previously been caught defrauding the very same council that he was standing for election.
The maggots would be crawling all over the story.
But what have we here? Another example of something that the BBC deem as “not newsworthy”
“Revealed: Labour candidate for Harrow Council is convicted fraudster”
Yogalingam Dayanamby will be announced as a candidate in the Canons ward later today by Labour, and has already been featured in their manifesto, however what the party did not know was that he has previously been found to have falsely claimed £811.93 from Harrow Council.
Over three years, the political hopeful falsely claimed council tax benefit after failing to declare he owned a second property, and was sentenced to a three-month curfew restricting the hours he is allowed out of his home in 2007.
The candidate’s past however does not prevent Labour from fielding Mr Dayanamby.
Harrow Labour have previously booted their Harrow on the Hill ward councillor David Gawn, now an independent, after he admitted attempting to cash two cheques totalling £10,000 from multiple sclerosis sufferer Dennis O’Brien to pay bills racked up by his company Community Arts and Media.
Now why wouldn’t the BBC report that?
Is it ‘cos he is black?
Is it because he is called Yogalingam Dayanamby? Hardly from the Counties is he.
Is it because it involves the party of greed, envy, theft and corruption?
Or is it all three?
Come on BBC tell us why you won’t report this story when you’d splash a story about a Tory councilor committing the heinous crime of riding a bike without a helmet.
The guy all the headlines have been about is merely a candidate for Merton local council.
Just down the road from Merton, the LEADER of the Council was jailed last year for child porn. Did that grab the BBC headlines for days, get items on every BBC news discussion programme ?
On the same Council, a LibDem councillor resigned after coming under investigation for benefit fraud – he has now been charged – but is evidently still on the list of candidates. Has the BBC headlined that one ?
Or how many BBC headflines for the LibDem councillor in Yeovil who has finally resigned after being convicted of stealing from the Royal British Legion ?
These cases happen all over the country – in all parties. It seems to me that some of these matters are far more heinous than making some stupid remarks on Twitter ?
It is patently obvious that the knives are out for UKIP, the BBC is hot in there of course – throwing aside all considerations of political balance.
Many people can see that this is just a big smear campaign – so hopefully it will rebound with many voters. With other voters it reaffirms their opposition to UKIP.
I am simply hoping that the adage “Any publicity is good publicity” works this time. And the traditional British sense of “fair play to the underdog”. Where there are traditional British sentiments and values, of course.
Just listening to my hero Julie Bailey on Womans Hour.
She`s the lady who blew the whistle on Mid-Staffs, and those lovely unions and support groups responded by trashing her mums grave running her out of town and hoping they`ll get the chance to visit her with an ambulance to teach her a lesson.
That lovely NHS that were dancing on the beds at the Olympic ceremony in 2012?
Anyway Jenni is happy to interview her…but can`t tell us what studio she is speaking from, in case she is attacked for simply talking to Womans Hour on the BBC!
But no conclusions drawn, no reflection on what kind of country we`ve now become.
Burnhams Britain…one where even Ann Clwyds husband doesn`t give rise to any self-examination of what the NHS is now doing….and getting away with!
Still eh?…maybe if that game-changer award from WH doubles as a mace spray, it might be some use.
The BBC-an irony-free zone, except for Alan Yentob…
An eminent Britiush scientist says global warming is nonsense.
That’s one academic the BBC won’t be using – they claimed last year they could not find any sceptical scientists, so this guy is obviously a non-person. How very dare he challenge the deep knowledge and expertise of Roger Harrabin ?
ASSANGE.
His ‘leaks’ may be a threat to British security, but he’s hero to BBC-NUJ. So why would BBC-NUJ want to publicise this?:-
“Julian Assange has cost Britain £6m as policing bill to guard Ecuadorian embassy where WikiLeaks fugitive is hiding soars.
“Guarding London building has cost £5.9m, including £1m overtime bill.
“Met has stationed officers outside embassy since he entered in June 2012.
“Police would arrest him if he left and then have him sent to Sweden for trial.
“He lives in small room in the embassy containing a bed and a treadmill.”
By MARTIN ROBINSON.
Probably the information which has come to light that there is a serious rape case to answer, and perhaps the intervention of wimmins hour femminazis has persuaded the drones he needs to be sent to trial.
If of course they could avoid a trial and proceed straight to having him castrated then they’d be looking for that. This is of course because he is not a Muslim of wimmins hour would be pressing for his victims to be stoned to death !
Just yet another small Lib/Con lie,
now come on, just think of all that money
D Camerimam s daddy will make.
The money/tax generator is as always climate change, or global warming … which one this week eh! ?
It’s black armbands all round on bbc breakfast this morning! They are forced to show front pages with ukip upon them. A very reverend arsehole brought to the sofa to link racism with ukip of course. Grim, awful sad faces upon all on the sofa.
The consensus being that ukip’s rise has nothing to do with wanting out of the EU, its all about a protest against conventional politics.
The anti ukip presentation by albeeba is only in 2 nd gear, but seeds of doubt are beginning to creep in. Are they realising that the more they attack him, the more his party gains?
I can just see the weekend meetings across the liberati, how the fuck can we kill Farage?
( not literally of course….oh…..errrrr…..dont go walkies in the woods Nigel! )
Yet the funny thing is the harder they try to destroy UKIP the more support UKIP attracts. As the cohorts of distinguished journalists look for dirt anywhere they can find it a large section of the public couldn’t care less.
Local politician stealing from a charity – MSM shrug shoulders.
UKIP Candidate insults “national treasure” Lenny Henry – and the expected PC lynch mob rushes to your house.
Yet of course UKIP are a party of “fruitcakes and closet racists”. We’ve been told that by Dave “Dave” Cameron – UAF member and respected EU doormat.
We are lucky that our MPs are above that sort of “UKIP” thing. Upstanding members of the community to look up to. So clean they can cast the first volley of stones from the bucket labelled “self righteous indignation and moral superiority”.
Top people – except for the liars hypocrites, tax dodgers, expenses fiddlers, friends of paedophiles, convicted fraudsters and assorted convicted criminals.
I buy and eat no other cake now apart from fruitcake….and I see others are doing the same too, judging by how little remains at Lidl and Aldi on Sunday afternoons these days!
It will be fun for him – floating around the Med for a few weeks. Probably writing some waffly stuff every few days, nice work if you can get it. Je looks like he enjoys his food, I’m sure he’ll have a great time at our expense.
Interesting to note that the BBC gave the Socialist Workers Party front “Kick Racism out of football” a five minute slot on match of the day……..And of course the way Kick racism” do it is by the manipulation of kids through outright mind control, in that nobody is born a “waycist”, it’s societies fault because of evil UKIP types poisoning their young minds….
Every time the hard left impose their viewpoints on things they murky the water via their own personal views…..Just like the BBC do…
Given that the trends show that the campaigns to find gay players, remove racism or nasty names from the game; have all coincided with a collapse of any success on the field tells me there`s research to be done!
Maybe if we re-introduced a bit of racism into football…controlled venues like Oldham, Millwall and Wolverhampton for example…this would create a “safe space” for racist tendencies to find expression!
Or-why not moderate racism throughout all grounds, to compare to specific grounds-including Aldershot and Charlton for example, Rochdale and Bradford, Oxford and Blackpool in this new category?
We could see if the teams get more successful after “racist factors” are included…and see if the national team actually achieves more than the normal defeat on penalties at the last 16 stage!
How about it…oh, and no BBC coverage or broadsheets there to fuel their nasty anti-racism agenda.
Would give them plenty time to build up womens football as they are passionately committed to do…and go trawling the locker rooms of the lower leagues to find that mystical “gay footballer still playing”.
Brighton would seem to be the nations choice for a place to start…but being a researcher, I could not possibly comment.
Broadcasting House on Radio 4 taking its turn to have a go at UKIP criticising the Poster as the building worker in it turns out to be Irish, and therefore according to them, a migrant worker.
This could have had a positive spin of course in the way that it’s impossible to know which nationality you are going to be employing, and the BBC are implying that UKIP are somehow a racist party by only and solely wanting jobs for English people.
But no the BBC spin in a negative way, just as we’d expect. Output it is said has to be balanced across the output, so where are the possible positive reports about UKIP to provide this balance.
Yes I too heard this unfunny “sketch” that we paid Paddy to set up, featuring one Andrew Nolan…and Irish shill as much as the UKIP one, but the “right kind”.
I resented very much the “actor as being a foreign migrant”…he was IRISH…and though the BBC and EU choose to call them aliens or such…that`s me and my family… and we were here way before Ted Heath signed the nation away in 1973.
The “comedy spoof” of UKIP and their Irish poster(about 9.35 or so) was hopelessly Laboured, and unfunny-just as ALL BBC “comedy on news affairs” is nowadays.
It`s not comedy or arts…its propaganda!
Even Blunkett commented on this recently-for one he was right….
After the rapid retreat of BBCs SML (Sunday Muslim Live)
that propaganda soft soap vehicle, now Panto N Campbell returns with TBQs The Big (muslim?) Questions.
lets look at todays schedule
hmmm, surprise surprise
“Questions include is Islamism the biggest threat to the modern world” ?
wow … expect an avalanche, of indepth analysis, on
how bad Russia is, and US intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan, with a tad of Zionist expansionist Israel.
Helpful additions from the usual suspects, and Islamic apologists …. great!
Is Islam the biggest threat in the modern world” ?.
… don t even need to ask that one
Yes, sanity and the real world are out there somewhere but we won’t be learning about them from the BBC: … ‘Pay your licence fee and drink your gruel, you ingrate.’
He should have played safe and quoted Che Guevara instead:
“The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have maintained their racial purity thanks to their lack of an affinity with bathing, have seen their territory invaded by a new kind of slave: the Portuguese.”
“The black is indolent and a dreamer; spending his meager wage on frivolity or drink; the European has a tradition of work and saving, which has pursued him as far as this corner of America and drives him to advance himself, even independently of his own individual aspirations.”
Churchill, and what is a famous quotation, ask yourselves this
Has Islam changed, at all, since that time?
to make that quote incorrect?
or has England.
from a leader like him to …
D Camerimam
Excerpt from Robert Spencer, on Paul Weston’s arrest-
“When Pamela Geller and I were barred from entering Britain last year, many people who realized how ridiculous that ban was pointed out that Winston Churchill, because of the quote below, would not be welcome in Britain today — an idea which was met with the usual Leftist/Islamic supremacist response of derision and ridicule. But here is proof that those who made this observation were absolutely right.
“If there is any genuine resistance in Britain today against jihad terror and Islamic supremacism, it will now champion Paul Weston’s cause. We’ll see. I suspect that more likely the leading ‘counter-jihadists’ in Dhimmi Britannia will pick at Weston’s past statements, saying he wasn’t right just here or just there, and throw him to the wolves.
“Winchester: Churchill Quotation Gets Liberty GB Leader Paul Weston Arrested,” Liberty GB,”
-Islam Not BBC will not support Englishman, Paul Weston and the cause of freedom of speech; but it supports the likes of Guantanamo Muslims Binyam Mohamed, Shaker Aamer, etc.
He is now facing two years in jail. Silence from the media over what is undisputable evidence of this government’s use of law enforcement to implement a political agenda.
gosh, so this must mean that when Gavin Esler said on Dateline London recently ‘some people might say Britain was post-Christian’ – he wasn’t just spouting North London Guardianista tosh – he was speaking holy writ.
Quick Thinking what the 4 minute mile reveals about the class system
quite often now I find the BBC output indistiguishable from the Labour Party
Now here is the news…
Ummmmmm….. UKIP said a bad word! I’m telling! Nur-nur, nur-nur-nur!
And this comes after the last anti-UKIP smear we told you about but it does give us the opportunity to rehash that last lame report again just to keep it fresh in your mind.
Meanwhile in other news Sir Cyril Smith (LibDem Liberal Labour) was a pederast rapist.
But for the moment we won’t rehash Labour’s links to PIE in case we remind you of those links. Lets just talk about calls for inquiries.

BBC man doing his bit against UKIP
BBC Animal Tragic
Funny, but I don’t recall Johnny Morris ever using his position as a celebrity BBC presenter and lover of animals in order to mobilise public opinion either for or against the Common Market.
Just wouldn’t happen in the good old days of the BBC.
I have previously highlighted Nicky Campbell’s dubious Twitter activity and here is another clear attempt to push a story – and indeed to ferment angry responses – which will only help smear UKIP
This is the story to which he refers
http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/04/24/UKIP-not-just-racist-fruitcakes-but-elephant-murderers-too
Now see Campbell’s Twitter blatantly egging on an animal rights campaigner.

It’s the bloggers who are fighting back. Delingpole nails them at Breitbart and that Ruthless Truth guy has a great post about how the LibLabCon are mentally ill in “Far Left Nut Job Seems Normal” at:

And also 2 shillings short of a pound. There’s a great post that differentiates Ukip from the rest by suggesting the others have a disease.

Why would the BBC ask Nick Griffin for his opinion on this matter if not to suggest that UKIP and the BNP are cut from the same cloth?
It’s not like the BBC normally goes around asking Nick Griffin for his views on current affairs…

Make it clear, pro-E.U Beeboids:
No. Although elections are being held in May for the European Parliament, none of these posts is subject to direct public vote.”
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-27114440

Yet when I have stated the quite obvious truth that there is no distinction between peaceful Muslims and violent jihadis, i.e., peaceful Muslims have not pronounced them non-Muslims and put them out of mosques and Islamic authorities have not declared that those who believe in the Islam of al Qaeda and other groups like it is not a Muslim, I’m smeared as a ‘bigot’ and an ‘Islamophobe.’ Perhaps those who hired this security guard could explain to us exactly what that distinction consists of.”

The BBC have announced they will have five guest presenters on Woman’s Hour. An eclectic mix of women offering various perspectives? Or just a roll call of right-on ‘wimmin’ pushing the usual line?
Here’s the list of names so you can judge for yourself;
J K Rowling – Labour supporter
Doreen Lawrence (who?) – Labour peer
Naomi Alderman – Guardian columnist
Lauren Laverne – Lefty. I’ll add a link to her New Statesman interview.
Dame Kelly Holmes.
Bias. Bias. Bias. All paid for by the licence payer under threat of criminal conviction.

All too often satire shows on the BBC invite BBC presenters to allow themselves to let-off lefty steam.

The BBC is beyond repair.

If the word “White” had been replaced by the word “Black”, I can assure you all hell would have now broken loose and Tottenham would now be on fire.
Well read page 101 of Ed Miliband’s 2015 Labour manifesto where he will promise to up the Licence Fee so as to reinstate it.

bBC Points West were harping on all day about the lack of ethnic organ donors.

Harrow Labour have previously booted their Harrow on the Hill ward councillor David Gawn, now an independent, after he admitted attempting to cash two cheques totalling £10,000 from multiple sclerosis sufferer Dennis O’Brien to pay bills racked up by his company Community Arts and Media.
http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/news/local-news/revealed-labour-candidate-harrow-council-7033295

Or how many BBC headflines for the LibDem councillor in Yeovil who has finally resigned after being convicted of stealing from the Royal British Legion ?
http://www.westerngazette.co.uk/COUNCILLOR-RESIGNS-Yeovil-s-Peter-Brock-admits/story-21007035-detail/story.html

More UKIP shock
Throwaway line – ‘other parties have issues’
Yet they are never detailed in the main news – I wonder why?
but the attempted smears by the BBC and others on UKIP don;t seem to be working –
http://news.uk.msn.com/poll-shows-ukip-lead-ahead-of-vote
The overall result is that UKIP has dominated the news this week – pushing aside the other parties’ election launches ?

( not literally of course….oh…..errrrr…..dont go walkies in the woods Nigel! )

Yes. Another day, another smear story in the MSM.
Yet the funny thing is the harder they try to destroy UKIP the more support UKIP attracts. As the cohorts of distinguished journalists look for dirt anywhere they can find it a large section of the public couldn’t care less.
To rephrase Harold Wilson’s famous rant:
“Lies lies lies – a Farage of twisted facts”.

The daily smear campaign has got very silly now. Meanwhile, back in the real world, yet another local political activist who really is a disgrace is ignored by the BBC and the rest of the get-UKIP-muck-racking media establishment:

Britain Dateline 2014

1. You can’t really expect any political party to vet the backgrounds of actors who are paid to turn up and do a job that only lasts a few hours
2. Ireland has always had an immigration agreement with Britain separate from the EU anyway, apparently.

Just asking for trouble.

Supplementary.
