I try not to watch BBC News but I am drawn like a moth to a flame. Everything has an ‘agenda’. There was an obscure discussion this morning about sheep tics and the biting of humans.
A ‘doctor/professor’ was wheeled on who linked it to Climate Change.
And the TV sofa is always draped with a smiling yet assertive plain woman with next to her a dull and neutered sycophantic man who tries not to cause offence to anyone. And he’s always seated to the Left.
But of course there is an agenda. Everything the BBC does now has and agenda to it. The trouble is, the BBC are not very good with facts concerning there agenda. So, we have more sheep ticks do we? I wonder why?
[Zoonotic tick-borne diseases are an increasing health burden in Europe and there is speculation that this is partly due to climate change affecting vector biology and disease transmission. Data on the vector tick Ixodes ricinus suggest that an extension of its northern and altitude range has been accompanied by an increased prevalence of tick-borne encephalitis. Climate change may also be partly responsible for the change in distribution of Dermacentor reticulatus. Increased winter activity of  I. ricinus is probably due to warmer winters and a retrospective study suggests that hotter summers will change the dynamics and pattern of seasonal activity, resulting in the bulk of the tick population becoming active in the latter part of the year. Climate suitability models predict that eight important tick species are likely to establish more northern permanent populations in a climate-warming scenario. However, the complex ecology and epidemiology of such tick-borne diseases as Lyme borreliosis and tick-borne encephalitis make it difficult to implicate climate change as the main cause of their increasing prevalence. Climate change models are required that take account of the dynamic biological processes involved in vector abundance and pathogen transmission in order to predict future tick-borne disease scenarios.]
Just how many ifs’ buts’ mays’ possiblys’ mights’ coulds’ were there in that abstract?
Maybe the BBC should have contacted their friends in Europe?
[The EU is a major world player in the production of, and trade in, sheep and goat
meat. Statistics published by the Meat and Livestock Commission (MLC) show that for
many years the EU was the largest producer of sheep and goat meat in the world.
Average production in the EU – 10 increased by some 17% in the decade since the
introduction of the sheep and goat meat CMO in 1980, mainly as a result of increased
production in Ireland and the United Kingdom (UK).]
More sheep more ticks anyone? Nah, not according to the BBC, it has to be Climate Change, after all what else could it be?
No there is no agenda at the BBc. I know this because in one of my previous complaints I commented on their agenda. They replied there was no agenda. So there you are they said there wasn’t so there isn’t.
I succumbed to Lyme disease two years ago, having been bitten by a tick here in France. They are very common, especially in areas such as this where deer are present. The doctors here are aware of the symptoms, and a blood test is very quick – you (and the doctor) get the result, by post, the next day. The NHS pales into significance, by comparison – most GPs have probably never heard of ticks, believing that they only affect cats and dogs.
I think if anyone here suggested that tick prevalence was anything to do with climate change, they’d be laughed out of court. What a load of bollox.
Climate change is the convenient target of all blame, for everything, and ultimately us, for daring to exist and “cause” it.
So we learn tonight on Sara Cox’s ‘Sounds Of The 80’s’ that her usual producer is ‘away at Eurovision’ Ffs thats a week away yet!
A bit more research reveals that the BBC is also chucking a load more of our telly tax at this Euro Fairy Fest by giving us an extra Eurovision DAB radio station for four days. How much is this costing? Hotels for christ knows how many for 7 days or more + an extra radio station.
The BBC also seems to be acting like the government by not giving us a choice in Europe, they think they know best who to represent us and what song to perform.
We’ll never f*cking win again anyway, everybody in Europe hates us, and unlike the indigenous here, a large part of our population can vote for their own country, one big waste of money! Eurovision, so many euphemisms and similarities for the EU, out now! Vote UKIP 😉
The BBC were quick (for them) to steal Breitbart’s story about the the Tory who called for mosques to be destroyed. They’ve been quite nippy with the various UKIP smear stories today, too.
I wonder what has changed since a few weeks ago, when they seemed so slow to report Harman and her cronies being exposed for their alleged past links to paedophile supporting organisations?
BBC Radio 4 ‘Broadcasting House’ runs an admiring piece about 30 Labour loons calling for the renationalisation of the railways. In fact, it’s also the headline news too! A blatant piece of electioneering on behalf of the Labour party.
Dead right-should thirty of us demand a “Time to Bin the License” letter be published in the Sunday Guardian…and insist it head up the BBC news across all its vehicles next weekend?
Balance eh?…UKIP our flag of convenience for the purpose…then sue them for discrimination when they don`t?
Once again Farage wipes the floor with an interviewer: thus time Andrew Marr.
Although in his newspaper review Marr allowed Shami her slanderous rant about the evils of UKIP.
Marr managed to insert racism innumerable times into the interview, but he was, in a word, fucked! Well and truly.
Listening to BBC Radio Wales ‘Sunday Supplement’ this morning, and the discussion drifts over to the ‘shortage of housing for sale’ and the ‘rise in rented property’, problems with ‘building on green field sites’ and the low take up on ‘brown field sites’ – ‘Thatcher selling off council houses ‘under the right to buy’ etc etc.
No mention of the elephant in the room, the invasion of 4 Million people (can we use the word ‘people’ now?) to these islands under the last government?
The discussion then digs at Farage for his support of Clarkson’s ‘non word’. Blatant bias
Wake up trustees!
One of the reasons it used to be said that the USA was a resilient economy was that they had a mobile population. Trailer homes could easily be resited, and moving home was reasonably affordable.
In the UK it has always been more difficult to move house and people were fined for doing so at 1% of the value of their purchased property.
Now however the fine has been increased to 3% when the value is £250K and 5% when the value is £500 K. This means the fine on anyone living in London is a minimum of £25K ! up from £5K which was bad enough.
To preserve the greedy bastards inheritances the fine is placed on the buyer – not the seller! Normally with tax it is sensible to levy it on the person realising the capital gains of their asset, not the person paying for it.
So now because Osbourne has increased the fine so much people are not moving up the property ladder, they are adding extensions instead rather than selling, and until Osbourne is removed from power, there’s no chance of the fine coming down again.
Yet again it’s a barrier to social mobility, a complete anathema to the Thatcherite vision, and proof that Camerons government has abandoned the normal Conservative vision in favour of a move towards Socialism.
“To preserve the greedy bastards inheritances the fine is levied on the buyer not the seller”
The “greedy bastards” are taxed at 40% on anything left to their inheritors over 325k after they have spent their lives paying income tax, vat, council tax, insurance tax, APD, etc etc etc.
NO the greedy bastards will be taxed nothing at all on their unearned and largely untaxed inheritances, if Dhimmi Dave is elected next time, and it isn’t £325K it’s £650K between Husband & Wife.
Next election it will be taken to over £1 Million, which in conjunction with inheritance tax planning will mean that effectively the UK will have no death duties at all.
So what if they have ‘spent their lives paying income tax’? big deal!
This is an anti Thatcherite anti social mobility measure, designed to keep the idle rich, rich and the poor, poor.
Most of these inheritances like Camerons father in law have not been earned, but given out centuries ago. No tax has ever been paid on the capital gain of the assets, and as they are owned by trust funds the earnings aren’t subject to income tax either!
Under Thatcherism the people who worked, invested, enterprised, kept a greater percentage of what they earned, and those who deserved it were able to get on and become wealthy. This is the opposite of Camerons policies. We need higher inheritance taxes – 60 or 80% and lower taxes for those who are working hard.
Now a report on South Africa, and absolutely everything bad is the fault of white Europeans, while anything which has become a little better (which isn’t much) is the achievement of the blacks!
Operation IRA/ANC up and running then, for the same Gerry/Nelson linkage has just been on BH.
Utterly pathetic-and they even found Gandhis granddaughter in Durban to bemoan functional numeracy standards in South Africa…bloody whitey, no Irish need apply on Durban beach…I`ve mixed and matched-it`s the same Good Rebellion needing our hearts.
Pathetic.
Oh-and can anyone tell me how thirty “prospective Labour MPs” writing a letter to the Observer hoping that Ed will renationalise the trains if he wins makes the MAIN News headline this morning at 9a.m
I`d have thought we`rem still at the picnic stage of policy here-and the fact that Chris Mason and chums had already “prepared a piece” on this marvellous eye catching scheme for Radio 4 tells me there was some collusion a few days back to “puff up” this crap.
Here`s one we prepared earlier, as Blue Peter used to say.
All so predictable-and is Chris Mason any relation to Paul…or is it ALL the Labour Media Family squatting at the BBC these days?
Didn’t New Labour’s Stephen Byers effectively ‘nationalise’ the rail network when Network Rail was formed?
I seem to recall the taxpayer was hit for a monumental amount to keep the tracks running (still ongoing?)after the previous firm Railtrack(?) fatally screwed up.
Noted that the NAHT Conference got major billing today on Radio 4 at 9am this morning.
“Oh at last” I thought-Trojan Horse had been discussed and the NAHT not only lost heads to the mullahs(figuratively at this stage, I grant you) but spoke at some length about its effects and widespread influence well beyond Brum.
Ready-made story ongoing….wonder what Russell Hobby will be telling us about their report into the stealth Islamisation of schools…after all Lee Rigbys first anniversary is coming up in three weeks time?
Or so I though.
More fool me…the BBC say absolutely zilch about this report of the NAHT,or the conference itself as it spoke.
Instead-NAHT want shorter school holidays…or is that ones that insist on working over Easter and Christmas, but sure as hell mean compulsory breaks for Eid and Ramadan.
But no-the BBC would have told us were that the case.
Operation Trojan Horse is a reggae label, and already being prepared for halal slaughter…thank you fearless BBC!
Pay the buggers in rials from now on!…145.50 of `em!
What was that word Jeremy Clarkson mumbled? I’m not clear about the issue here.

Got back late last night and turned on Sky news some you gov poll to a paper saying UKIP is a “magnet to racists”. Funny as I said earlier I do You Gov surveys but strangely I don’t appear to have been invited to that one. Not sure if BBc have run it or if they are still ion just ignore mode. Going back out soon so I won’t be watching BBc today.
Does anyone still believe the results of YouGov polls? How can the organisation have credibility when its chief, Peter Kellner, is married to EU Foreign Policy saviour Cathy Ashton? YouGov have admitted it weights its polls in some complicated manner in favour of Daily Mirror readers. Somewhere in the region of 3% i think they said. With YouGov it seems you get the results you pay for.
Same here Dave. I have been on the YouGov panel for several years. Never asked for my views on UKIP and racism.
Of course pollsters have their own methods etc – but can you trust what they do. Questions are often restricted in what answers can be given.
I will have make a prediction. As the election closes in the popularity for UKIP will be seen to drop. Now will that be real or a bit of “fixing” from a group that are part of the pro EU establishment.
Perhaps I was mistaken in listening to “Fatty” Nolan’s’ show with Edwina railing at Clarkson accompanied by. Some Labour clown.
Did I hear Edwina apologise to Lady Major for shagging her husband. I think not.q
She is very ,very sensative about having that raised in conversation. Worth rembering if you are ever lucky/unlucky enough to get through the R5 thought filter
“Did I hear Edwina apologise to Lady Major for shagging her husband. I think not.q”
It’s JOHN Major she should be apologising to: what a traumatic experience to be repeatedly pounced upon by the vile she-thing in heat.
Ugh yugh. Blechhh. If they’d only send her around the schools to talk about her sexual appetites it’d cure the teenage pregnancy problem overnight as no boy would be able to contemplate sex again for at least a decade without the memory of EC giving him the glad-eye.
Just watching a bit of Andrew Marrs pliant set up for Miliband to talk bollox unfettered.
Frankly let me say this to you Andrew….how the hell does Miliband get away with trashing the Tories economic performance, given what he, Balls, Brown and the like did between 1997 and 2013?
And how Marr can let him trash the Tories performance thus far, and NOT mention Milibands love-in with the catastrophic Holland regime in bankrupt broken France…in the run-up to the EU elections as well?
You`d think that Marr would have some secret garden of lefty privilege he`d rather not tread into-and sure as hell not let US have a peek.
No danger of loads of Romanian blokes moving into the house next door to Mr Marr then is there?…
Having seen this morning’s BBC Marr show, I got the impression that Milliband only wanted a TV debate with Farage if Camaron was also there – Two onto one! Rather unfair what?
A fully experienced businessman against two schoolboys who have never had a real job
Heard most of it-and it wasn`t as bad as I`d expected.
Yes usual slavery mea culpas…but it`d be hard to imagine the roots of Brazil without it in this case, maybe.
And only one lazy cliche about football and samba as I recall.
If it all means that the great God football gets a lefty pasting from the favelas as they ponce about the country, it could be worth watching the farrago.
“Indonesia: 36 Bali jihad bombers who murdered 92 Australians are freed”
By Robert Spencer.
[Excerpt]:-
“One might almost get the impression that the Indonesian government was sympathetic to these jihad terrorist mass murderers. But surely that couldn’t be it, could it? Everyone knows that the Indonesians are moderates, and eschew all ‘extremism.’ Don’t they?”
BBC Radio Devon this morning pushing quite hard the results of a survey saying that 27% of the U.K. populace think that UKIP is a racist party. Well, in other words (not heard on the BBC), 73% of the U.K. populace do not think that UKIP is a racist party.
So the BBC tells us that no one should be ‘offended’ that people who ‘hate’ are ‘vile’, and that they will have no truck with anything which isn’t politically correct.
So when hate mongering Muslims anti Semitic ‘commedian’ Dieudonne has another gig cancelled, as part of a huge anti semitic festival in Belgium, it might be expected that the BBC would have splashed it all over their news leaders.
If it was a case of an anti Muslim hate festival, they would have gone nuts, probably calling for the deaths of those involved, but seeing as todays Fascism involves turning a blind eye to the slaughter of Jews & Gays there’s very little on the BBC, and what little there is, is hidden away in an obscure section of the webpage.
1. Prospective Labour MPs…so not even candidates that have been put up for election, let alone elected by us.
2 Advising their own Shadow Cabinet who are unelectable, and clueless about any of this as yet. They have no policies, as we find out every time they`re asked for them.
3. They write a round robin to the Guardian(Sunday edition), and it makes the front page of said sadrag.
4. The pliant and joyous BBC lead their 8am/9am news bulletins with it…with pre-recorded package, and Chris Masons peroration on its earth-bending greatness and brilliance.
Is there any chance of the Labour liars doing their musing and self-abusing in a pub side room or a locked ward…why the hell do the BBC choose to give them free focus groups, spin and advise from their favoured Johns at our expense?
Dead right Alex…worth an enquiry into who gives us these slop buckets of stories…did the BBC or the Guardian(Sun)…or Labour itself decide that this was news?
About time we followed the slime trail, and took the salt along with us.
Just got back after watching a live rock band in a pub. Stopped for a bacon and cheeseburger on the way back. Did I miss anything interesting on the BBc tonight?
Not a bias comment, just wanted to pay my respects to Elena Baltacha. A good ambassador for British tennis and 30 is no age to die. I would have paid respects on the BBC site but they didn’t open the article to comments.

Interesting piece on Today about the French far left economist who claims that inequality is a major problem. They wheel out an English economist to put the other point of view, and it quickly becomes obvious that the interviewer doesn’t want to hear what he has to say, and is able to raise all kinds of point to challenge him with. On the other hand when they are interviewing someone with whom they agree, they are unable to find the opposing points, because they cannot think or accept the other point of view.
Same thing happened with an interviewee from Russia today, who made mincemeat of the interviewer. Just an inability to accept what they are told so they keep asking the same question again & again until they hear what they want to.

Vote UKIP 😉

The way things are going I would suggest this years winner will be the EU backed Ukrainian version of the Horst Wessel
