Gaza conflict: Abbas backs Hamas ceasefire demands
But has the BBC reported this?…I don’t think so:
In an interview on 11 July with Al Mayadeen satellite channel, the PA President Mahmoud Abbas accused Hamas of being “merchants of war” and called on them to accept the Egyptian ceasefire initiative and proceed with political negotiations later.
Five days later, Tayeb Abdel Rahim, director-general of the PA presidency and member of the Fatah Central Council, commented on Hamas’ rejection of the Egyptian proposal. He accused Hamas of serving regional agendas and “sacrificing Palestinian blood in the service of a global Muslim Brotherhood plot.”
Riyad al-Maliki, the PA’s foreign minister, has also reportedly said in a conversation with Frans Timmermams, the Dutch foreign minister, that the current escalation in Gaza only serves Hamas’s political interests.
PA officials are echoing the Israeli government’s narrative, putting the blame on Hamas for the high loss of civilian life in Gaza and ignoring the reality imposed on the Strip.
they dont want a ceasefire, hamas has rejected every ceasefire israel and there arab freinds yes there arab freinds the egytiians have tried to broker with these hamas terrorists, the answer from the terrorists to peace has been 100s of more scud missiles and grad rockets into israeli civilian areas, hamas wants holy war, israel and there arabs freinds wants peace and harmony, simple as that.

What INBBC refuses to recognise:-
“Netanyahu: ‘Hamas is like ISIS, Hamas is like al Qaeda, Hamas is like Hezbollah, Hamas is like Boko Haram”
By Robert Spencer.
[Excerpt]:-
“He is absolutely right about this, and yet even though it is a blazingly obvious point, he is the only world leader who has dared to point out that all these ‘extremist’ groups have a unified ideology, a shared belief system, and a common goal. The rest are mired in willful ignorance to one degree or another, and to the detriment of us all.”

The BBC News this evening.
They headlined that only 32 Israelis had been killed.
And that over 250 Palestinians had been killed.
So? Far more Germans were killed in WW2 than losses by Britain and the USA.
By BBC logic, Germany was therefore in the right and an underdog.
But the BBC was a different broadcaster in WW2.

I’m surprised the BBC have shown this.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-28450436
A Red Cross convoy being attacked by the very people they were trying to help.
Any guesses who it is or where it happened?.
Yep, in Gaza and by Palestinians…….
Apparantly the reason, according to Paul Adams, is that “after days and days of this, people are not thinking straight”.
Erm, no, they’re just animals who will attack the first target that comes by.

How the bBC lies for Hamas
Hamas leader ties ceasefire to end of Gaza blockade
The leader of Islamic militant group Hamas has said there can be no ceasefire to ease the conflict in Gaza without an end to Israel’s blockade.……In addition to lifting the eight-year economic blockade, Mr Meshaal’s list of demands also included the opening of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt and the release of Palestinian prisoners.
“We will not accept any initiative that does not lift the blockade on our people and that does not respect their sacrifices,” Khaled Meshaal told reporters at a news conference in Qatar on Wednesday…..Israel imposed restrictions on the Gaza Strip in 2006 after Hamas abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. The measures were tightened by Israel and Egypt in 2007 after Hamas ousted rival Fatah and forcibly took control in Gaza after winning elections the year before.

So reading the above and if you didn’t know better, Hamas aren’t asking for much are they, open borders, release of prisoners and the bBC point out that Israel started the ball rolling in 2006 and then tightened their grip on Gaza in 2007, 7 years ago. But hang on what this from 2010
Israel announces let-up to Gaza siege
The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Thursday that the security cabinet had agreed to relax Israel’s blockade on the Gaza Strip
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_easing_of_the_blockade_of_the_Gaza_Strip#June_2010_easing_of_the_blockade
However the relaxation of border controls wasn’t welcomed by Hamas, becasue at a stroke, Gazans could purchased goods from Israel which didn’t have a Hamas markup here are 3 news articles regards Hamas banning Israeli goods:

So if Israel did as it was asked to do in 2010, why doesn’t the bBC mention that. Instead it states that Gaza has been under siege since 2007.

Regards the Egyptian border, under the MB, the border with Gaza was thrown wide open, which is why Gaza is a missile stockpile. However a couple of years ago during ramadan, terrorists from inside Gaza struck an Egyptian border post and killed 16 soldiers (5th Aug 2012) in response the Egyptians started closing down the border with Gaza which is why currently the border with Eygpt is virtually closed (even to tunnel smuggling) ironically the only route in for food, fuel Aid is from…Israel.
Eygpt doesn’t trust Gaza and as Hamas are MB cloens, they want to see them..dead.
Funny how the bBC doesn’t mention the full story there either.

Yes, the change of control in Egypt is crucual to understanding what is going on with Gaza, including the discussions for ceasefires. Basically, Egypt wants Hamas to get nothing, no concessions.
As usual, the BBC fails to explain the facts properly.
