Excellent analysis of the OUTRAGEOUS pro Hamas bias from BBC journalist Jon Donnison on BBC Watch. Do read.
Clearly Jon Donnison remains on Hamas PR campaign message, promoting context-free images and descriptions of damage and civilian suffering without even a whiff of a mention of terrorist activity in Beit Hanoun. His promotion of a non-existent “military occupation” of the Gaza Strip and of the notion of farmers unable to export their agricultural produce because of a “blockade” he fails to explain also conforms perfectly with the Hamas narrative currently being vigorously promoted. The fact that there is no truth to those notions obviously does not disturb Jon Donnison – or his employers – in the least.
Donnison, Douchet, Bowen – the BBC can sure pick them.
David, you’ve given yourself a thankless task, but it is worthwhile and I think needed until the bbc (and their ilk), socialism and islam are obliterated.

I reckon the BBC are now actually superior to Hamas as conveyors of anti-Israeli propaganda. The result is that large swathes of the UK are not only sympathetic with a terrorist organisation which is not even one step away from ISIS, but also revel in spewing out anti-Jewish hatred not seen in Europe since Hitler’s day.
‘Earlier this week, newspapers carried photographs of masked, armed Isis gunmen attending the funeral of an Islamic Jihad comrade in Gaza. They could do so, obviously, only with the permission of Hamas. This same Isis (which has now extended its geographical claims by calling itself simply Islamic State) is trying to convert, expel or exterminate Christians and Yazidis in Iraq, an atrocity so appalling that even President Obama has bestirred himself to intervene.
No doubt theologians can point to significant differences between the beliefs of Hamas and Isis, but these distinctions are like those of Soviet Russia and Mao’s China in the Cold War. The main point of which the world needs to take notice is the similarity. Both the Russian and the Chinese governments were Communist – implacable enemies of the Western way of life. Both Hamas and Isis are Islamists – implacable ditto. Communist ideology preached world revolution, and Communist countries incited it through subversion. Islamist ideology and Islamist organisations, ditto.’

Yet people still trust the BBC for their ‘impartiality’ and therefore side with a butchering mob of Islamo-fascists rather than with the civilised, advanced democracy trying to defend its own people not just from missiles but also from the ultimate threat of being ‘wiped off the face of the earth’. This country has gone stark staring bonkers.

Yes, the BBC has treated the war in Gaza exactly as Hamas directed but what has been gained? Demonstrations attended by the usual combination of bearded and burquad Muslims and radical leftists that were greeted with either boredom or hostility by most Britons; Baroness Warsi resigns to cross-the-board indifference and calls for arms boycotts that remain that, just calls and an abstentation from a UN vote that it is highly unlikely to have supported (that would have been a success) if it had fallen in June.
Can anyone see how Hamas has gained in any practical way from BBC support?

it is just amazing if quiet disgusting how the likes of john donnison, the bbc,the swp, other media outlets and the liberal and leftist politicians in the country seem to have this love affair with hamas and other islamist extremist groups in this country and all over the world, just amazing.

Sorry! I accidentally hit the report comment instead of the reply. Fingers too large.
Just wanted to say that media is enamoured of the bad boy image of Hamas and a lingering nostalgia for the hippie halcyon days when the revolutionary spirit—Che Guevara–was cool.

I’ve done the same in the past, Liza. Perhaps whoever organises the layout of the site could look into making sure the two are well separated and made more distinct because when you do make that mistake it’s most embarrassing, not to say that it makes you look like you are moaning about a perfectly reasonable comment.

A glimmer that gives one hope.
Every so often you suspect there are some who may yet stray off message…

@Itwitius: My Israeli friends Samir and Mo always wanted to visit Bradford but now George Galloway says Israelis are not welcome in ‘his’ city. Shame.

Also reading reports that ISIS supporters around Europe not really holding to the ROP PR punted out by community leaders like our Mehdi.
Just hope some media may still feel professionally obliged to at least cover such things, even if the notebooks are out.
It’s like a few are recalling their history, and Neimoller.

What I always find strange is that the BBC and their Hamas Propagandists quite happily accept the claims that the ‘blockade’ of Gaza is so restrictive that it is impossible for any humanitarian products can get into the area but never stop to wonder how Hamaz manage to get a constant supply of armed missiles, and their launchers, into the area completely unhindered along heaven knows how many weapons, both large and small for them to use in their constant acts of terrorism.
