We’ve had the Race hustlers, now how about the truth?

Why the media reaction to events matters when they whip up a storm:

Jayson Ross, who was leading the protesters toward the police before tear gas was fired, was quoted as saying by AP: “They got guns. We got guns. We are ready.”

Local politician Antonio French, who was with the protesters, tweeted to say: “Too many young men talking about they’re ready to die tonight.”

A Witness Conversation Unknowingly Captured at the Scene of the Ferguson Shooting is a Game-Changer

A previously unnoticed detail in a background conversion of a video taken minutes after the Ferguson shooting could change the course of the investigation into Mike Brown’s death.

The original video poster appears sympathetic to the narrative that Mike Brown was shot unarmed with his hands in the air. But he unknowingly picks up conversation between a man who saw the altercation and another neighbor.

An approximate transcription of the background conversation, as related by the “Conservative Treehouse” blog:

@6:28/6:29 of video

#1 How’d he get from there to there?

#2 Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – cause he was like over the truck

{crosstalk}

#2 But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him

{crosstalk}

#2 Then the next thing I know he doubled back toward him cus – the police had his gun drawn already on him –

#1. Oh, the police got his gun

#2 The police kept dumpin on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him

{crosstalk}

#2 Police fired shots – the next thing I know – the police was missing

#1 The Police?

#2 The Police shot him

#1 Police?

#2 The next thing I know … I’m thinking … the dude started running … (garbled something about “he took it from him”)

This is terribly important because if Mike Brown had been shot, and he advanced towards the cop instead of surrendering, it would substantiate the narrative that the policeman shot in self-defense due to the fact that he was being threatened with severe bodily harm.

This corroborates an account of the event given by a friend of Officer Darren Wilson:

Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.”

It’s far too unlikely that these two accounts are similar accidentally, having been from such disparate sources. The seeming witness in the background conversation is speaking with detail about the tragic shooting, and in a manner that runs contrary to the widespread version. Those who watch the video need to judge for themselves if the witness sounds reliable (but he would seemingly have nothing to gain by telling such a story.)

A third piece of the puzzle would be the toxicology report. If there happens to be anything found that might explain how Mike Brown might have been shot and kept advancing toward the officer, then the defense becomes even more believable. Unless someone is emotionally invested in an alternative narrative to the extent that one might ignore plain facts.

We shall see.

    The truth is not important here Alan.
    What’s important is that Al Beeb get to broadcast over and over again ‘unarmed black man shot by white policeman’

    I imagine that the BBC won`t be wheeling out Piers Morgan or suchlike to denounce the laws on gun ownership in the USA for a while then.
    Not when the forces of bling, race hustling and pimp my riders have a chance to slot a few feds.
    The BBC love the smell of cordite as long as Whitey in a State uniform is being targeted…and if the Duggan posse look like they`re losing-then Clive, Gareth, Al or Jesse will get wheeled out to plead for “proportionate responses and to show restraint…just like Hamas would.
    Over to you Piers?

      Here are a series of security camera pictures, some 10 minutes before the the incident with a police officer.

      Unarmed teenager, Michael Brown , reputedly a “gentle” giant, persuading an aggressive store clerk, to donate some items.

      Obama and is upset, that the release of such pictures, prejudices the inquiry. He knows, being a lawyer and all that.

        The BBC’s views on when imagery gets used or not, and when, and how it affects due process, being topical.

        Maybe they wish there had been a helicopter around? Then again…

      Don’t tell me ……….blacks cannot be rascist can they Jesse.

    A private autopsy carried out at the request of Michael Brown’s family has reported that he was shot 6 times. Four bullets hit his right arm and two were head shots. All entered the body from the front (disproving the numerous claims that he was shot in the back). It’s not hard to envisage MB advancing towards the officer despite beng “winged” four times before the final head shots became necessary.

    Nothing about this yet on you know where.

    One last thought. In similar cases it is widely reported that the victim was a good boy who had never been in any sort of trouble. I cannot recall any such claims being made in this case. While that in no way excuses an unnecessary killing (IF that was the case here) it would surely be relevant to know if MB had any history of aggressive/criminal behaviour as the CCTV footage from the convenience store would suggest.

    the facts don’t matter in this case and as with the Gaza propaganda the liberal media will push their narrative regardless of the facts

    I have no idea what they are trying to achieve with this though

    Radio 4 this morning. BBC looks at the shooting from the perspective that America has a race problem despite a black President and black Attorney General. Interviews with those who follow the racist white cop narrative, culminating with the expert opinion on US racism from the Rev Jesse Jackson. No balance, no attempt to dig out some truth. The US are all racists, what can be done?

      I would dearly love to understand how any credible news medium could think that the best objective analyst of US race matters to call upon was Jesse Jackson.
      That would be like heading straight for George Galloway or Tariq Ali on anything to do with The ME. Oh, hang on…

      America does have a race problem; & it is exacerbated by the President & his Attorney General, as well as the race hustlers & professors who haven’t had an original, truly ‘progressive’ thought since the 1960s.
      This article gives us a cool appraisal of the events in Ferguson (the author makes the point about CNN’s grovelling to Hamas – ring any bells, BBC? – & their aggressive witch hunt for ‘white racism’ in Mississippi): http://www.city-journal.org/2014/eon0818fs.html
      An extract: ‘The grotesque pantomime plays out time & again…Ferguson is but the latest episode of this long, sad drama of resentment & revenge. The drama persists…because so many journalists & academics, not to mention black activists, have so much invested in it. It’s the conceptual air they breathe. Sadly, to paraphrase the philosopher Ernest Gellner, some failed practices cannot be the subject of reconsideration because they already shape the way we think.’
      And that is how the BBC wants it’s ‘narrative’ to be – beyond question.
      Extracts from a couple of comments: ‘Obama & his party are committed to keeping blacks on their plantation, fanning the sense of victimhood that foments racial divisions…By blocking reform of the corrupt public education bureaucracy, & supporting policies that slow growth & inport low wage illegal immigrant wage competition, the disadvantaged…especially blacks, are hurt most by Obama & his party.’
      Another comment: ‘IMO, Blacks along with complicit Whites have metaphorically created an amoral “shuck & jive” criminal Frankenstein. Black intellectuals understand this but have so far been shunned, ignored, belittled, discounted or ridiculed.’
      The events in Ferguson are far, far too complex to fit into the BBC’s chosen ‘narrative’. They do not have the will to look beyond the lazy stereotypes, nor, crucially, do they have the journalists prepared to leave the hive. And, given the shallow pool from which they recruit, they never will.

        g-f I had seen a link to that article on Powerline – it really is an excellent summary of what is going on in Ferguson, just another performance of the race-hustling pantomime

    The BBC’s support for the racist narrative may have been premature – allegedly speaking.
