    Well, BBC Parliament did broadcast Nigel Farage’s speech from the Doncaster Conference, but …. instead of 1715, they started at 17.17, thereby ensuring we missed the opening part of his speech, and instead in ending the programme as scheduled at 1800, they abruptly closed the coverage at 1752, thus preventing us from seeing the reaction from the hall, and presumably some personal views from delegates. Again, the BBC doing its best to cover as little as they can get away with. At 1752, btw, they broadcast a completely unnecessary piece about bishops, which of course, could have been broadcast at any other suitable time.

      How this Iraq business must be such a blessing.

      Also, I have to say, although not being a fan of George Galloway, having just heard his speech in Parliament in regard to the decision to start bombing, I thought what a lot of he had to say made eminent sense, even though it was very shouty. But it fell on deaf ears, as most MPs appear to be gung-ho about sending in the, er, six aeroplanes of the RAF….

      Update: I now see that BBC Parliament has now removed two sessions covering the UKIP Conference. The schedule, until only a few hours or minutes ago, showed coverage was to be 1845-1915, and 2130-2300. However, BBC will now broadcast right through from the House of Lords instead. Well okay, the war debate is important, but the BBC could have provided red-button coverage if they had been so minded. They will hug themselves with glee that the UKIP Conference will be shown only between 1 am and 5 am.

    Radio 4 ‘PM’ showed its true political colours on Parliament’s Islamic State debate.
    After Beeboid summary of MPs’ contribution to the debate, for about 30 mins, Mair threw in an extra propaganda 5 minute piece from someone with no connection to Parliament to put an anti-intervention case.

    Used to live in Kelso. Kelso and the wider Borders majority Conservative and Unionist, as the statistics in the recent referendum are testament to. Why, then, was the BBC’s Question (but no real answers) Time , based in Kelso and the Borders, permeated with SNP fascists?

    Everytime you hear some dimwit politician or BBC common purpose troll inform us that Islamic State is ‘nothing to do with Islam’ just remind yourself of that scene in 1984. You know the one: 2+2 = 5.
