Something to add to the general debate on free speech and which can inform our judgements on the BBC’s reactions to pressure from Muslim activists and its subsequent approach to ‘free speech’.

The very fact that they need to ask that says everything…….
Note that the arguments used to defend the Muslim right to silence critics of islamic ideology are the same that the BBC’s Owen Bennett-Jones used in his article “Blasphemy, jihad and victimhood“….powerless, marginalised, weak, under attack, angry, frustrated and so on.
You see Islamic suprematism being played out before your very eyes:

After a while you notice what the politicians avert their eyes from. The betrayal of their country, under the veil of “not offending” a tiny percentage of the population that are the source of the problem

The BBC are very obedient in respecting the sensibilities of the Muslim faithful, but not so when it comes to the Christian faithful. In the same month that they refrained from showing the full Charlie Hebdo cartoon they have no qualms about showing an artwork by Jake and Dinos Chapman on a BBC World Arts Program featuring scores of miniature Ronald McDonald figurines being crucified by Nazis (you can use Google to see the original).
Anyway, I’m thinking of commissioning an installation featuring a scale model of the Ka’bah in Mecca that has a picture of Colonel Saunders beamed onto the side of it. An additional feature of the installation will be a figurine of Burger King riding the winged donkey Al Buraq (the one Mohammed used on his night flight to Jerusalem, thereby justifying Islam’s claim to the city) taking off from the top of the Ka’bah. I hope the BBC will make a documentary about it one day.

For reasons which escape me, the liberal left elite across the whole of Europe have been active participants in the Islamification of most of the continent for the past several decades. The media in most countries have a bias towards the liberal left and have actively participated in this undemocratic betrayal of their own people. The BBC have of course been amongst the most active in promoting the Islamist agenda and attacking anyone who dared to raise doubts and concerns about what was going on. They have consistently suppressed unwelcome truths, distorted and lied about all aspect of mass immigration in general and the problems created by having millions of Muslims in our country in particular. The corporation has been a key player in the great betrayal of the British people. If sensible British people ever do get back in control of the levers of powers in this country and roll back the tidal wave of immigration and Islamification, then the BBC should be held to account and all of those who have held senior positions in the corporation over the past 30 years should be subject public disgrace and the heaviest sanction that is available under the law.
The irony is of course that if , as is distinctly possible, Britain becomes an islamic state later this century , the liberal left will be amongst the first to feel the full force of Sharia law and life in the medieval , barbaric state that they so diligently helped to create. No doubt they will then pine for the freedoms and justice of the British State that they did so much to undermine until we were unable to resist the islamic invasion.
Watch the British underground film ‘It happened here’ 1965, taken over yes, leading to resistance and eventual victory. If it comes, be prepared to do as required.

This might begin to explain the seemingly puzzling connection between the left-liberal ‘progressives’ & Islam.

Marxism/communism and Islam share one trait. Both believe that they have an ideology that gaurantees the good of humanity for all time. But unlike Chrsitianity, which also believes the same, Marxists and Islam believe that they need to enforce that ideology by force.
It is for this reason, I believe that the greatest genocides in history can be placed at the door of socialism/marxism and Islam.
Marxism and its handmaiden Socialism….once fused with nationalism and with Islam brought about the Third Way that infected Muslim countries.
Nasser was the first demagogue who attempted to fuse Marxism and Islam under the grievances of nationalism and an end of capitalism.
