It is remarkable how the BBC obsesses over trivial stories while ignoring the scandal surrounding Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. A Jewish prosecutor was found shot dead, hours before giving evidence that Fernandez de Kirchner was involved in a plot to cover-up Iran’s role in the bombing of a Jewish community centre. Now she is under suspicion about his death.

The BBC has virtually ignored this story for weeks. Now Wyre Davies has an article in the Latin American and Caribbean section of the website. Fernandez de Kirchner is a BBC favourite and this article is an excellent example of their subtle propaganda. It is not pure puffery – that would be too obvious – but it is a mixture of puffery and understated fact that leaves an impression of the President as Arthur Daley; little dodgy maybe, but underneath she’s alright. Lots of ‘loved by the poor; the new Evita’. The [incomplete] facts of the killing are relegated to the end.

The amateur propagandists at Channel 4 could take some lessons from the masters.

I think the Beeb will be running with the Metro / louts story for weeks. it’s got everything they love. A thuggish mob of working class white oiks and (perfect for them) a black victim. We are going to hear an awful lot about “racism” probably up until the election. The trouble makers will be identified, banned for life from attending Chelsea games, probably lose their jobs and be roundly condemned by all right thinking people. And of course we do condemn them, it’s unacceptable and boorish behaviour.
However it’s us I feel sorry for. I just know that the sainted Mrs Lawrence, Diane Abbot, Yasmin, dear God the whole bloody lot of ’em will be popping up to remind us just how vile and racist white Brits are.

I’m not really into conspiracy theories but, as Geoff points out below, WHY was the black man being filmed well before it became clear that something was going to happen? The cameraphone moved to put him centre screen before the “trouble” broke out. Looks like it was expected.

Possible, of course, that the chants provoked the filming. But suspicious nevertheless.

Very suspicious, it’s like the guy was deliberately heading for that door in a very casual but purposeful manner, as if knowing what he was doing.

Why didn’t he try another door, I know I would have done. Then a black woman just stands in front of the doors, unfortunately for the ‘chance’ film maker nothing is said toward her, then the next person who is in the vid just happens to be another black woman hurriedly exiting the carriage.

Just like the UKIP ‘asian honeytrap’ nothing would surprise me when it comes to the fascists on the left and nothing would surprise me with the bbc’s war on football. It’s too white and it’s too male.

Interesting report from Africa regards Boko Haram from the bBC:
Air strike ‘kills dozens of mourners’ in Niger
Thirty-seven people have died in an air strike in southern Niger during military operations targeting Boko Haram, local officials say.
They were attending a funeral ceremony in Abadam village on the border with Nigeria when an unidentified plane began dropping bombs. More than 300 militants were killed in north-east Nigeria during the operation, the Nigerian army says.

So the fightback against BH is well under way and after claims that over 300 illiterate and uneducated followers of Mohammed have been taken out (Well the bBC does go out of its way to tell me these religious bigots are against education) the bBC reports that 30 people were killed while hanging around a funeral. Ok but here’s the catch the bBC reports on the veracity of the Government claims against BH:
“The number of militant deaths has not been independently verified.”
Yet the 30 death toll is taken as fact.

Now here’s something the bBC don’t tell you. France is supporting the fight against BH. As part of Operation Barkhane, France has deployed 4 UAVs (Including 2 Reapers) and 2 Mirage 2000 to the Niger capital. Maybe that explains why the Chadian army foiled an attack inside Niger only last week. With eyes in the sky, we now know exactly where these idiots are. So we have to ask the question was this strike a surgical one?

But apparently not to the terrorist loving bBC

As someone said earlier….you`d have thought that Paris had bigger things to worry about than some football clots blocking a black blokes entry to the Metro.
Clearly, those concerned are morons-and I hope that the black bloke uses the Paris transport police etc to get justice-but it`s hardly Charlie Hebdo now is it?
Still-puts the hideously white trash in its place, allows the usual gofers from Kick It Out/Say No to this sort of thing to get onto Channel 4.
And I do wonder about the kind of person who feeds this kind of film to the media-whereas the film of a Jew being abused and spat at in Paris does not get a mention.
The liberals agenda is clear-and suddenly I wish Chelsea well.
When the media have covered Hebdo and anti-Jewish attacks properly in Paris, Brussels, Copenhagen and Malmo THEN I`ll take a bit more interest.
For now, I`d dwell on all those fans getting killed in Egyptian matches-the BBC won`t care about Islamic countries killing their own, as long as Hillsborough and the likes of this Paris story put whitey and “The Man” in the dcok.

Hey do you remember the Muslim demonstration in Downing Street That the BBc didn’t bother to report? Remember I complained? Well here’s the update ”

Thanks for recently contacting the BBC. We aim to reply to complaints within 10 working days (around 2 weeks) and do so for most of them but cannot for all. The time taken depends on the nature of your complaint, how many others we are dealing with and can also be affected by practical issues such as whether a production team is available or away on location.

This is to let you know that we have referred your complaint to the relevant staff but that it may take longer than 10 working days to reply. We therefore ask you not to contact us further in the meantime. If it does prove necessary however, please use our webform, quoting any reference number we provided. This is an automatic email sent from an account which is not monitored so you cannot reply to this email address.

In order to use the licence fee efficiently we may not investigate every issue if it does not suggest a substantive breach of guidelines, or may send the same reply to everyone if others have complained about the same issue. You can read full details of our complaints procedures and how we consider the issues raised in feedback at http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/handle-complaint/. In the meantime we’d like to thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We appreciate your patience in awaiting a response.

    Kind regards”
Well for such a simple question should it really take this long? I’m now awaiting my fob off template from the relevant section.

Some here might be interested in this. I don’t know if it’s been posted before, but it’s a belter from Brendan O’Neill at Spiked.

This paragraph in particular could sum up the attitude of many at the BBC…

“The drama captured brilliantly a prejudice that is now so commonly and deeply held among the cultural and political elites that they don’t even think of it as a prejudice. Really, they don’t! It’s a prejudice that imagines Britain is neatly split between a cosmopolitan and enlightened elite which is pro-EU, pro-gay marriage and allergic to the St George’s flag and a throng of Daily Mail drones who are overweight, anti-EU and, of course, racist. This belief that vast swathes of Britain are a problem needing to be nudged or re-educated towards a slimmer and more enlightened existence is now the most powerful bigotry on the political scene. Only it doesn’t call itself bigotry, or even think of itself as such. But given that the OED definition of bigotry is someone who is ‘unreasonably wedded to a creed or opinion [and] intolerant of others’, there could be no better description for those convinced that they’re right about everything and contemptuous of anyone who thinks differently.”

‘Lisa, quite nonplussed, was reduced to pressing the off button.’

Well, the BBC does control the edit suite, and hence the narrative. And as the propaganda seems to be hitting a rocky patch, censorship is sure to follow.

As a non-footyballist, I accept but am still intrigued and often appalled by the arbitrary nature of the clearly tribal loyalties that are inspired by no more than a name… and maybe strip.

A good friend of mine is a Master of the Universe who lived part of his life in a ritzy part of Fulham. His ‘team’ is Chelsea. I once asked what the bond was as, far as I could judge, few players, management or ownership hailed from anywhere near his ‘hood. And in any case he bailed from that decades ago. I got a garbled ‘if you have to ask’ reply and thought it best left there.

Then beyond the odd bedfellows such loyalty inspires, there’s this damning by association. Does ‘Chelsea’ have any responsibility to those who choose to hitch to their star, for whatever reasons? Clearly if they organise groups in their name, yes. If they stir up hostilities beyond ra-ra rivalry, yes. But if a nitwit private citizen, or even group, goes on the rampage, surely that is between them and the local rozzers, and little else? Is the Chelsea community living in fear now of the backlash? Is Ian Katz sending out a local taxi driver to seek sorry tales of beastly twittering?

And finally, allow me my own second wrong to add to others already cited.

Aggressive stuff is, clearly, in the realms of news now there’s too much space and not enough content, and more so with the advent of cheap-to-source (less easy to check, but hey, asking the spokesperson team to issue an anonymous surly muttered plea for forgiveness is well easier than doing one’s job) mobile uploads. JonDon’s Australian output would be seriously reduced without passing on some Sydney slapper giving a verbal to a hapless tube passenger.

It is also bad, wrong and should not be the case.

But it pales in comparison to actual violence in the name of race or faith.

And what the establishment clamps down on hard or excuses, supported by a clearly on-board ‘news’ vs. ‘non-news’ media is mind-blowing in its selectivity and consequent hypocrisy.

Given the long history of anti-Semitism in Europe, maybe it’s not surprising. We should be ashamed that Jews are so wary of us that they find common-cause with Islamists. Hopefully European nationalists will start to see that it’s in our best interests to respect Jews and their values. Similarly, the Jews should encourage those nationalists that seek to move on from the past. Marine Le Pen is a good example. it’s a pity that they vilify her, and so make her job of convincing her followers more difficult.

There has certainly been a long history of anti-Semitism, but you need to ask why, and not fall into the trap of demonizing Europeans.
This has arisen due to Jewish elitism and separatism (racism?) every bit as much as European suspicion. Why has Solzhenitsyn’s masterpiece Two Hundred years Together still not been published in English? Why is the truth about the difficulties of cultures living in parallel silenced?

The piece itself is plain silly… complaining about mosquitos. Really? When we visit Asia, it, and dengue, are risks locals bear.

But these guys seem poor masters of their own destiny. Self harm because they ‘want’ to get to Australia. They have options beyond these camps, but appear unwilling to take them.

Maybe the BBC’s shilling is effective in showing what awaits, but maybe a bit more on the funds getting found to enrich traffickers, and a bit less on the problems of folk who are confronted by reality in not getting what they ‘want’.

They broadcast this piece on Radio 4 as well. Just wheedling and pleading – let the poor “asylum seekers” in. Expect more attacks on Australia’s immigration policy – because its points system for economic migrants, and its resolute actions to accept only asylum seekers through the formal UN process is exactly what UKIP advocates. The BBC piece was not aimed at Australia alone – it was aimed at all the wets in Britain. Unlimited immigration good, controlled immigration bad.

However, amongst their excuses and reasoning was the idea that 2014 was the warmest year in Britain, evah, and because of that they were able to keep their customers supplied and happy. That it was the warmest year, was a blatant lie, and even if it wasn’t, the quibble would be about a couple of hundredths of a degree either way, well within the error bars, so I would love to know how THAT could possibly have had any effect on their customers, at all.

As usual, they were able to blithely spout this nonsense, on air, unchallenged by the BBC.

How DO the BBC get away with it? More importantly, WHY are they allowed to?

In the alternate universe that is the BBC, the majority of media,

Readers, Listeners … the “FIX” is in … the glaring reality that the growing Islamic community are the perpetrators causing the growing rise in Anti-Semitism, is getting lost.

Anything to obscure reality. That is what our media now does.
The murders on the Libyan beach are so horrific and so terrible that our easily upset media cannot deal with the implications,
The Copts were killed just because they were Christians and for no other reason. Their blood ran into the sea that divides Europe from Africa, The symbolism is clear.
These killings are on a par with any genocide anytime anywhere. It is just a matter of degree. To the liberal numbers are everything but not to a civilised man
So in displacement activity they concentrate on the Chelsea fans’ incident. Trivial though it is and prefer to ignore the reality and threat of Isis .
Isis is an existential threat to us and only Isis seem to think this. Our leaders are in denial and that is just no longer good enough.
We have an absolute right to defend our civilisation. That is not negotiable and we must have leaders who understand this.
What is happening is insane and beyond belief. Those of us who understand will be soon silenced and oppressed by these same lunatics who misgovern us so thoroughly has the rot of liberalism penentrated our lives.
The only Western nation that seems to understand what to do and how to survive is Israel and that nation is the prime target of a liberal elite that has completely lost touch with reality.
These are now the worst of times to come.

“…As usual, they were able to blithely spout this nonsense, on air, unchallenged by the BBC.

How DO the BBC get away with it? More importantly, WHY are they allowed to?

Because the BBC don’t have to answer to you, or I, or anyone, really, apart from their mutually agreeable friends (all of them card-carrying Common Purpose footsoldiers) within the ‘industry’ and what we still laughingly refer to as ‘politics’.

The BBC don’t care, don’t ask actual journalistic questions, because £3.5bn pa from the UK taxpayer (come what may) says they don’t have to care. They couldn’t give a rat’s arse what ‘the science’ says on climate change; the BBC isn’t interested. They only care to hear from those who support the approved narratives; on climate, on politics, on immigration on the EU, etc.

When everyone is agreeably agreeing with everyone else, the BBC is a happy bunny. This is how BBC ‘journalism’ now works. If they want to ‘discuss’ climate change’ they simply flick open the Rolodex and speed-dial a few reliable ‘on-message’ CAGW zealots to spout unsubstantiated drivel on air; to say things they can all agree upon.

The BBC are now beyond redemption. The Rot is complete. The viral strain is now too powerful, too embedded into its host. Drastic action is now required.

The latest report has been timed to correspond with “Russian interference” in the Baltic states. The fact that NATA took a decision several weeks ago to establish forward bases in the Baltics is, of course, not mentioned.

The comments from the Defence Secretary are so wonderfully ambiguous that they could have been written for him by the BBC:
Speaking to journalists from the Times and Daily Telegraph on Wednesday, Mr Fallon expressed concern over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interference in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, and elsewhere around Europe.

“He flew two Russian bombers down the English Channel two weeks ago. We had to scramble jets very quickly to see them off. It’s the first time since the height of the Cold War, it’s the first time that’s happened.

What has happened for the first time since the height of the Cold War? Putin personally flew the bombers (“He flew…”)? Jets had to be scrambled quickly to see them off? Does that mean that jets are not normally scrambled? Or that they are normally scrambled slowly rather than “very quickly”?

As was mentioned the last time this happened, a few weeks ago, the Russian aircraft, which are ageing turbo-props of 1950s vintage, did not enter UK airspace. They regularly do this and have been doing so for half-a-century. They play naughty by not using the transponders that identify themselves as military planes. They’ve varied the route a bit in recent months, but it’s unlikely that Rick Stein’s Cornish restaurants are now at particular risk. Provocative behaviour? Yes. Western media keen to whip people up into a frenzy over it? As if – we are the good guys, remember.

In passing, for students of the CECUTT black hole:

‘The BBC know they can get away with it because the way they measure is not by individual programmes, but over time and over the full range of their content. The Trustees are the judge and jury of whether bias exists, and their decisions cannot be challenged. Their record for upholding complaints is roughly one in every 10,000 received. Trustee Richard Ayre recently revealed to MPs that not a single complaint about (for example) the BBC’s EU-related coverage has been upheld by the Trustees in the past seven years.

So a BBC staff member sitting on a BBC body to assess the BBC crows that the BBC has looked at the BBC and found no problems at all, and that doesn’t ever so slightly stink to the rafters on just about any interest-conflicted trust or transparency basis?

On the BBC1 local London News last night at 10:30, around 5 minutes (of about 7) was devoted to the Labour pink feminista van. The van visited Croydon. Harriet (“PIE “) Harman, although not the driver, was interviewed; a fellow passenger, Diane Abbott, was recorded talking to a gathering of women (potential?) voters. Call me cynical but I suspect not one of the assembled crowd was either unregistered to vote or without a Labour Party membership card. Harriet told us that women should sign up to vote (er . . Labour.
The BBC reporter told us why Labour was putting in the effort. Apparently of the 3 (?) seats in Croydon, the central Croydon seat is marginal so women should sign up (to get Labour voted in as a consequence). In all, this was a straightforward party political broadcast on behalf of the Labour Party: no apologies, no argument, no disagreement, no “some say”. OK, the BBC – as a (fatuous) gesture to impartiality – generously gave a 7 second slot to a junior coalition female minister to agree that people should register to vote in an election.
Blimey, there’s still almost 3 months to go to the election and even the semblance of political neutrality has disappeared from the BBC. Despite HMS BBC having a permanent list to Labour, God knows what Labour has further promised in respect of the 2016 charter renewal to ensure the BBC’s support in this election campaign. If BBC programming is any indication, the price Labour is preparing to pay to the BBC (in cash and kind and a free – although predictably Lefty – hand) must be enormous.

It’s interesting that the Paris ‘victim’ has called for the Chelsea fans to be jailed. No leaving the question of guilt or sentence to the courts….

This parallels what we’ve come to expect from the femi-nazis for some years now. Anyone they don’t like has to be locked up. They were not happy with the number of convictions, so the system had be overhauled to ensure that, in future, everyone accused can be convicted. So drunken consent becomes rape and Ched Evans finds himself in jail. Furthermore, old cases that were found to lack substance have to be re-opened at the ‘victims’ whim; just this week Mohamed al Fayed and Ben Sullivan have had cases re-opened. Sullivan’s case was ridiculous the first time; second time is outrageous.

Oxford Union ‘rape victim knew her claim was false’

Old established principles of British justice are regularly set aside to appease activist stirrers. The double-jeopardy rule was disposed off to satisfy the Stephen Lawrence campaign. When this ancient safeguard was removed, only one prominent voice was raised in defence. Rod Liddle said ‘Judge Treacy might as well have told the jurors that they must approach the case ‘by eating 15 Jacobs cream crackers, without any water or other emolument, inside one minute’. The case is a charade, and a vindictive charade at that.‘ All hell broke loose against Liddle and The Spectator.

Scary stuff. It’s starting to fell like the sixteenth century.

Fewer and fewer articles are open to comments there now, especially if it’s likely to be contentious.

I also notice that blogs about BBC abuse or bias are fewer and further between in the last 6 months.

Is there a sinister fifth column sponsoring the Russian bomber near British air space? Look closely at the tail of the aircraft and be amazed which group are responsible. The photograph is not photoshopped!

Could well be. Seriously is just the Russians out for a jaunt in a rather nice but very old airplane. No doubt amusing for the crew and a bit of excitment for our lads. Not a serious matter in my opinion.

The Soviet Air Force ,at the height of the Cold War , use to change the tail fin marking`s from time to time , to make it look like they had more serviceable frontline aircraft ,than what was available at the time. We were on to that ruse ,from the start. The BBC tail fin is from last September/ October time .

Hey remember the muslim rally the BBc didn’t report. Remember I complained. Remember they sent me a reply saying it would take longer. Well it was well worth the wait because here is the template reply. A template reply I’ve already had in connection with other complaints. Hey guess what I’m complaining again I don’t think this is an adequate reply.

“Thank you for contacting us about BBC News. I understand you were concerned that BBC News did not cover the Muslim Action Forum protest at Downing Street on 8th February.

I can appreciate that you felt this event should have been reported on so I’m sorry if you were disappointed with the lack of coverage.

We know that not everyone will agree with our choices on which stories to cover, and the prominence that we give to them. These are subjective decisions made by our news editors, and we accept that not everyone will think that we are correct on each occasion.

There are several factors that we take into consideration when deciding how to put together our news bulletins. For example, whether the story is new and requires immediate coverage, how unusual the story is, and how much national interest there is in the story.

However, we appreciate the feedback that our viewers and listeners give us when they feel a story has been overlooked or marginalised and I am grateful that you have taken the time to contact us regarding this matter.

Please be assured that I have included your complaint on our audience feedback report which is sent to news editors, programme producers and senior management each morning. These reports are among the most widely read sources of feedback in the BBC and ensures that your complaint has been seen by the right people quickly. This helps inform their decisions about current and future programmes.

Thanks again for getting in touch.

    Kind regards

My complaint to the template above. “Thank you for your template response to my complaint, exactly how it took so long to fill in the blanks i.e. my name is a bit of a mystery. It is nice to see that you are consistent in your contempt for any complaints made. I already have a collection of several of these template replies. As a person who pays for the service you provided perhaps you could actually answer my question as to exactly why the BBC chose not to cover this demonstration, instead of your standard vague meaningless reply. In the light of the atrocities in France I find it hard to believe that this would not be a story of “public interest”

If you buy an item or service you have rights, if the item is faulty or not fit for purpose you get a refund, if the service you’ve received is poor you don’t pay until you’re satisfied.

With the bBC you pay under duress, you take or leave the their product/service (with a TV you have no choice but to take) and you have absolutely no right of recall or even the slightest chance of a refund, part or full .

At least with Sky it’s your choice and they will, if something goes wrong give you a month or two for free.

In the real world complaints like the above would at the least get some sort of recompense, no chance with the bBC.

“First a complaint drone fobbed me off with a template response, and I did not accept it.

Then another complaint drone tried the back up version prepared earlier, and I did not accept this either.

So next an ECU Director got comfortable in his belief that the BBC template was as about right as it gets, and I did not accept it.

And finally, Richard Ayres of the BBC Trust said that as the BBC has never conceded before, this shows it is never wrong, and that I had to accept, as he is the final authority on the matter.

That is, within the BBC, which oversees… the BBC.

Well worth the effort though, as sharing here in public they really don’t like, being all committed to transparency ‘n all.

What is much more disturbing is how the media state he was out to behead a soldier. He wasn’t A search of his computer found he had actually looked up army cadet bases in the area and was on route to one when he was picked up after his ex girlfriend informed the old bill, I quote from the racist bigoted Daily MAil which for some strange reason posts the facts the impartial bBC never does
“On June 20, he used his phone to look up Camberwell army cadets, which produced a result for the London Irish Rifles Association in Camberwell, then he looked up army cadets Lewisham on Google maps and clicked on the result for the army cadet force in Blackheath.

I had to laugh at the bBC video where this Islamic cunt was described as a..Lone wolf. Yeah lot of fucking Islamic lone wolfs out there, in fact each any every follower of the paedophile Mohamed who has blood on his hands in the west is described as a lone wolf.

By contrast, Ch4 seems to know at what point a teenager becomes more than responsible for their intended actions (if as Pounce notes they remain unclear on when a cadet becomes a soldier):

Man guilty of plot to behead British soldier

Brusthom Ziamani idolised the killers of the British soldier Lee Rigby, and set out to emulate them. Stopped by police in an east London street on suspicion of posting extremist messages on social media, the 19-year-old was found to be carrying a 12-inch knife, a hammer and an Islamist flag in his rucksack. A letter he’d written to his parents said he was planning to take part in jihad and a soldier’s head would be removed and burned.
A jury at the Old Bailey today found him guilty of preparing acts of terrorism. Our Home Affairs Correspondent, Simon Israel, will have the details.

Quite what Mummy & Daddy Ziamani would make of Junior’s personal statement is for now unclear.

Presumably he’s the token ‘businessman’, even though he’s a BBC trougher. I’ll watch it to see if he has any political knowledge or ethics, but it looks like a waste of time. Again.

This line up can not have a balanced discussion regarding:

      1. Immigration.
      2. EU membership.
      3. Multiculturalism.

And what was Channel 4 `s response to this?
Cathy and Jackie wonder aloud( as girls are wont to do!)…how come “the authorities” didn`t prevent him from-er-being “radicalised”(now there`s a verb in need of a definition!).
Who`ll tell Cathy and Jackie that it`s Islam that demands that you act on your “radicalising principle”-that no amount of guff from Hazel Blears will prevent that-and that it is ISLAM-not the authorities-that is to blame for this bloke acting on what his holy book says.
Not that Cathy or Jackie could EVER admit to that, let alone say it on their toxic liberal shrine to Lennon-Lenin.
No, expect lots more liberal denials and self-delusions until we get a Muslim with a brain who can carry out what he intends to…and then we`ll get Breivik or Le Pen blamed…never the Muslims.

INBBC on Radio 4, 10 pm News, continued to elevate the ‘teenage’ aspect of the 19 year old Muslim perpetrator (avoiding accurate designation: Islamic jihadist); BUT in the next news item, INBBC termed the (heroic?) 19 year British soldier who has gone to join the Kurds in the battle against the evil of the Islamofascists in Middle East as ‘a man’.

Plenty of subtle and not so subtle bias on “The World Tonight” on Radio 4 after 22:00.

There was an item about an interfaith march in London, where Muslims, Jews and Christians were getting together to show that different faiths could respect each other: I think they said 120 people turned out, and if it wasn’t 120 then it was 360; far bigger marches which don’t fit the agenda go unreported.

Then, after repeating the headlines at 22:30, it was on to the housing crisis. Britain has apparently been building less than half the necessary units for several years and demand is rising. Rents are shooting up and young working people can’t save enough to think about getting a place of their own. The BBC lady tried to get some interviewees to link this with how they might vote at the General Election and there was a reference to ‘the generation that have’ buying to let to the ‘generation that have not’. A young White couple living with parents in London were interviewed. Mark Easton added his bit in the studio and was sensible enough.

Of course, there was no reference at all to immigration, which will certainly be driving some of the stated extra demand, especially in London.

Indeed – and there’s also the factor the BBC wouldn’t touch with a bargepole, ‘white flight’, where vast swathes of the countryside are being forever despoiled with trashy new build houses to accommodate the English who are fleeing our overcrowded, lawless, crumbling cities.

But it’s not just the elite who feel unaffected, it’s naive people in country towns and villages who bury their heads in the sand, support the major parties uncritically, and think that big city dwellers are mean, intolerant and uncharitable. I think the penny is starting to drop, however, in parts of East Anglia.
