Chutzpah (/ˈhʊtspə/ or /ˈxʊtspə/) is the quality of audacity, for good or for bad. The Yiddish word derives from the Hebrew word ḥutspâ (חֻצְפָּה), meaning “insolence”, “cheek” or “audacity”.
Curious choice of title for this BBC report…With their letter to Iran, US senators show ‘chutzpah’……‘Chutzpah’ being a Jewish word.
Is the BBC subtly hinting that this letter is all the work of the ‘Jewish Lobby’? After all Netanyahu was recently in the US making a ‘controversial’ speech according to Jeremy Bowen about the same subject…playing the ‘Holocaust card’ according to ‘shorthand’ Jezza.
It is remarkable how negative the BBC’s report on this open letter to Iran from Republican Senators…ahhh..there’s the problem….not cuddly Democrats.
The usual suspect, the BBC’s Katty Kay, is similarly dismissive and scornful….
The White House agrees that the Republican Senators’ letter to Iran creates the perception that America is dysfunctional.
She goes on..
The White House’s Deputy National Security Advisor, Ben Rhodes, was clearly angered by the decision by 47 Republicans to send an open letter to the Iranian leadership…..Rhodes told me the letter is profoundly unhelpful and fits a pattern of Congress not working constructively with the President.
Well of course, the Senate is there to rubber stamp anything Obama comes up with…he is after all a most wonderful, wise and most of all, a Black President…he can do no wrong.
Funny how Democracy, what the BBC called ‘sacred’ when the Black majority took power in South Africa, is an inconvenience when people (white Republicans) don’t play by the BBC rules.
The BBC supports Iran (and anyone who stands up to ‘Bush’s’ America) and has always produced programmes that look favourably on Iran when the sabres are rattling and is of course a fan of Obama….and definitely not a fan of the Republicans….so all in all this ‘letter from America’ was never going to get a fair hearing on the biased BBC.
Obama really has been a huge failure as the so called leader of the free world: under his watch Russia, China, Iran and lots of Islamic terrorist outfits have decided to strut their stuff.
He has done a Blair by opening the doors of the U.S. to anybody who can get there.
He has pissed off his allies by stabbing them in the back and by getting into bed with those states who hate the U.S I mean come on this is the prick who berates the current Egyptian government for removing the MB.
He is also the man who did nothing when the American ambassador was killed in Libya.
That people is what happens when you instal a Muslim lawyer as president of the United States and people are surprised why the bBC love him

‘Well of course, the Senate is there to rubber stamp anything Obama comes up with…he is after all a most wonderful, wise and most of all, a Black President…he can do no wrong’ merely indicates you dont realise the senate is currently Republican. The comments regarding a ‘black’ President merely indicate you are a racist. On the issue of ‘he can do no wrong’ that is clearly your inference – no one elses.
In terms of Israel playing the Holocaust card – well lets face it they have been doing that for decades with the backing of big US Jewish lobbies for years as a way of promoting their own territorial expansion.
In terms of the Republicans you clearly were asleep during the Bush years or indeed Regan ,who helped to bring about the financial crash in 2007/8 .You’re the kinda guy ,I suspect to be a Palin supporter like your mate Nigel. You clearly have nothing relevant to say!

Wow, you have no self-awareness at all! The BBC clearly supports Obama so wholeheartedly due to his colour (after all he has no other redeeming qualities) but your comment about the Jewish Lobby is pure anti-Semitic filth at its worst.

Obama was sold to us by the BBC / Guardian axis as the saviour of the world. He was going to right every wrong. Even leap tall buildings in a single bound. He even won a Nobel prize.
To take up 30 seconds of your time perhaps you would like to list what you consider to be his successes for our edification.

He was elected because he was black.
And now they push for a woman.

Couldn’t they have found a black woman and saved a lot of time? In fact throw in gay and disabled as well.
Hmmmm … doesn’t cover trannies (or whatever they want to be called this week) though, does it?
Meanwhile, the US has to put up with a third rate president. Still, our recent PMs are nothing to shout about.

Carter was a third rate president. Obama aspires to be third rate. I don’t like his chances.

I don’t think Obama’s reached that high yet or anywhere near it.

Condoleeza Rice was available, except for the inconvenient fact that she is black, female and a republican. Wonder how much support she would have had from the liberalfeminazis at the BBC?

I reckon she’d make a decent president.

The BBC, despite it’s American obsession, also doesn’t understand the US political system.
The President is not a king.

A king would be less pompous.

Re the liberal medias reflex genuflection at the feet of the tin god Obama…a creation of Benetton, and of liberal lefty fantasy.
Any chance of them looking up Operation Fast and Furious?…or giving us a bit of background about that unpleasantness in Benghazi a few years back?
You know-where your countrys highest representative in a foreign country was somehow allowed to be murdered in the Embassy you`re supposed to be protecting?…
Nah, course not….bloody Farage though eh?
Flip the BBC!
