Jeremy Corbyn is running for the Labour leadership and at the moment looks like having a chance to take on the mantle….much as one Ed Miliband did when he stabbed his brother in the back and stole the leadership from him. That turned out well.
However we know he isn’t too keen on interviews, or at least ones in which anybody actually asks any questions.
After his debacle on C4 it looks like he’s decided that the best policy is to say nothing and dodge interviews that might prove difficult.
According to Nick Cohen Corbyn was due to have the thumbscrews applied by Andrew Neil but has declined the opportunity to make his case…
I hear that he has cancelled a planned interview with Andrew Neil, the toughest British broadcaster, rather than endure more profane questions.
Can’t imagine why.
Would he have dodged Evan Davis or Justin Webb or even John Humphrys? I doubt it.
Andrew Neil proves that it is possible to do good journalism at the BBC.
If only there were more of him.
Neil is the “useful idiot”.
Who “proves” the impartiality, neutrality, balance . . .

I disagree. I think that Mr Neil is impartial and his stance shows how leftist the rest of the BBC is in comparison.

I never thought Corbyn would dodge interviews. It always seemed that his views were delusional but sincerely held.

I will only do interviews with people who share my world view, that everyone should be poor, living in a socialist global new world order, and told what to do by the likes of me, my friends and the upper classes.
The fact that Corbyn is fragile even under a little bit of questioning, never stopped Milli-Fail from spending 5 years as Labour leader now did it? He did the same thing as Corbyn is clearly going to do, just avoid any interviews with people you know are going to be difficult.

Angela Eagle was due to address the workers at Tolpuddle earlier today-indeed she was due to do the same last year.
Her winsome voice, her charming manners and style-and dare I say, her elfin comeliness-would surely have elevated the tone of the Crow clones and dossing teachers on their break(already?…they`ve done nowt but show DVDs and go to CGI showings these last two weeks?).
But no Eagle landing on the Tolpuddle helipad-for she had a prior engagement with the hustings for -wait now-Deputy Shadow Leader of the Opposition”.
Or a pitcher of warm piss in a sick bag as it`s called.
So there you have it-Worker Commissar Bore Grade Eagle would rather sit in a pink camper van in Brighton than speak to lots of horrid trade unionists.
And the union dopes thought that OK…pitiful weak shadow puppets who mock the notion of Scanlons, Gormleys and Chappells.
All clean handed pen pushers and media whores who can`t change a bike puncture without a risk assessment and Wheeltappers and Shunters Soclal Club Press Card, as signed by some woman in head office.
Nah-the left are finished-Len Murray meets Mr Barraclough…THAT`S the left today-still, the BBC like that.

This site is a joke. How can you right-wing retards POSSIBLY watch the BBC and see anything but a bias towards the ruling-class & the status quo? Left-wing bias? are you INSANE? The treatment of Corbyn on the BBC has been absurdly biased, AGAINST him, as is always the case for the left. Unlike the right, who get almost blanket fawning coverage (see Farage last year) or invited on Question Time.

So where’s the Balen report?
