Rigged stage and rigged audience no doubt all wittering on about how calamities will befall the civilised world if the BBC’s funding is cut by one penny. Babies will be dying in their cots, plagues of locust will cover the land. Oh the list will be endless.

AlBeeb – you must learn that self praise is no praise.
Go on -slap yourselves on your back because most people, even those with a modicum of intelligence see your brainashing bias for what it is. Anti British.
I don’t quite understand the purpose of the meeting unless to promote their side on Charter Renewal. I wonder if Whittingdale has been invited?
Unless it is a genuinely open and fairly mixed audience-(which it won’t be), it will be a wasted evening.

“slap yourselves on your back”
Because no British person will do that, most of us want to grab the BBC by the throat and squeeze the life out of its treacherous body.

There will be dogs and cats marrying, for sure.

A very stupid event. Sometimes you wonder at the PR blunders of the BBC.

The only similarity between the BBC and a treasure is that they both should be buried.

It’s a Spectator event, not an Al Beeb one. I thought about going but looked at the panel, and that said, it does seem to be stuffed with Al Beeb dug-suckers.
Will anyone ask why Al Beeb’s fuckwit interviewing ‘stars’ never asked Jonah Brown about his excessive borrowing whilst lying that he was repaying debt?
Or why Al Beeb shills constantly for evermore non-contributing immigrants whilst championing ever more spending of money we don’t have on hospitals, roads, infrastructure, benefits etc whilst decrying benefit cuts?
I won’t hold my breath.
