There must be great consternation at the BBC as the Corbyn “led” Labour party falls into absolute chaos. We all saw Shadow Chancellor McDonnell screw up his response to the Autumn Statement by quoting Chairman Mao. Now I see there is clip of Diane Abbott saying “on balance Mao did more good than bad”. Meanwhile Ken Livingstone excuses the 7/7 bombers by saying “they gave their lives” to stop the Iraq war. And of course the dear Leader himself is causing a massive fracture in the PLP by insisting he will not support any military action against Islamic State. It’s a horror of a week and the BBC must be aghast that the brave new world of principled socialism promised by the Corbynistas is just one more myth that even the BBC can’t keep peddling.
CAN THEY SAVE JEREMY?

I’m not sure they will want to save Jeremy. They must know by now he’s unelectable and it would be better to cut their losses now because come 2020 it’ll all be forgotten.

How many times did Jez stuff his own (admittedly evil, and clueless) party by voting against it?…was it 80?
If so, he`s due another 79 serial rebellions-and the BBC seem very upset that the “Project” is divided-and we all know that they HATE splits, when it comes to their lovely Labour Party.
The Tories surely will keep Corbyn there-I well recall the United fans putting up banners at Old Trafford saying ” Souey must stay”…in regard to Graeme Souness…he might still be there, had we not drawn attention to the good that Souness was doing for us by remaining in post!

Jez is a Tory and UKIP plant . Simple

I am sure much midnight oil is being burned at the BBC in trying to come up with a plan for leadership succession that does as little collateral damage to Labour as possible. Laura Kuenssberg is working extremely hard, poor girl, to swing the spotlight away from the hapless JC but, as the Chancellor’s autumn statement events proved, it is beyond even her immense talents.
Hopefully, the PLP has been infiltrated by the far-left (attention BBC – THE FAR-LEFT) to an extent that they can keep their unelectable leader in post long enough to crash the next general election.

Labour’s NEC is run by Corbynistas. There is hope that he will still be the labour leader in 2020 and lead the labour party to total and final oblivion.

It’s the best comedy series that the BBC have ever produced. Corebin’s comic timing is superb and a joy to all.
What hilarious consequences for all will emerge in next weeks episode??

Completely agree. Not only is JC the best thing on TV, far funnier than BBC comedy shows, he is also the best thing that ever happened to the Labour party. Long may he remain their leader. I must also put in a good word on behalf the Shadow Chancellor who shows the typical Labour grasp of economics, so much so that even the BBC find it hard to cover up his stupidity. The two of them render Labour unelectable, indeed they may well be the joint architects of Labour’s demise . So let us toast the leftist clowns with the unopened champagne from election night that sits in Broadcasting House by the case.
On This Week we heard from the chairperson ( PC you note) of CND. She thought that Jeremy was persuading the country that his pacifist views were correct and she confidently awaits the election of JC as PM. Well if these leftist clowns believe that, we should not disturb their little fantasy. Happily they are showing the country what the Labour rank and file is really like , basically insane. We now have True Labour not New Labour, and the public are appalled and amazed in equal measure. Such a happy time. Which the Tories could cap off by disemboweling the BBC but I think that it one wish too many.

And this is an excellent opportunity for UKIP to take over as a sensible and rational opposition party.

Lets hope they get to be the party in government . They are the common sense party as opposed to the party of overgrown prep school boys that are in office now .
Broadcast nearly two months before the most deadly attack on France since the Second World War,
“The UKIP leader believes events on the beaches of Greece and the border of Hungary have vindicated his predictions of ‘biblical’ migration to an EU which can’t control who comes in.
He also believes his claim that so-called Islamic State would use the mass movement as cover for exporting terrorists to Europe is something that mainstream politicians are now repeating. He thinks it’s been proven that his party was utterly right on migration.”
Perhaps Cam moron should have heeded his warning …………………

The Labour Party are slowly reelising they have bought a lemon. This sort of lefty, pacifist, apologist ideals is fine for the BBC, Guardian, colleges etc but it has no place in modern poloitics.

The Labour Party did not have that much to do with it. Corbyn was elected by leftists and naughty conservatives who paid £3 for a vote. This was Ed Miliband’s great idea to make the Labour Party somehow more democratic. That man really was the gift that keeps on giving.

I for one support Jeremy Corbyn in his opposition to British involvement in the so called ‘war’ against ISIS, albeit for different reasons.
I hope to God that he is able to take his party with him as Harriet Harperson did, and to force Cameron into not having a vote on this issue.
The only reason lazy Davey wants us in Syria is to deflect the success of Russia in destroying his Saudi masters creating, and prevent them also destroying the so called ‘Free Syrian Army’. If Russia is allowed to continue then the Sunni Muslims will not be able to slaughter all & sundry and Assad will hopefully put them back in their box with great vigour.
We know Western airstrikes are deliberately ineffective, because when Russia started its campaign many of the ISIS lot upped sticks and moved to the EU where they have continued in their attacks against Paris. Why did this happen if the Western attacks were effective?
I wonder how many people on here would have supported sending our troops to fight in Vietnam? In hindsight that was one of the few good things Labour did for the UK.

Farage, the SNP and everyone I know also opposes using the RAF to bomb targets in Syria. An eclectic bunch.
I think Cameron wants to keep his seat warm at the big table, and to perform on the world stage – to mix two metaphors.
Here’s a thought, even if aerial bombing destroyed IS in Iraq & Syria, would there be a diminished Islamist threat to the UK or peace in the Middle East?

Well it didn’t take long for the proof to come forward ! Today Fracoise Hollande has announced that France will seek to fight with the ‘Free Syrian Army’ against Saudi enemy President Assad. What on earth that has to do with fighting ISIS I don’t know, in fact it probably helps them, but then again France does have a dubious history of harming the world with its massive support for terrorists and revolutionaries.
Now it’s hit them they like many others have learned nothing and will continue to plough blindly ahead to the next attack, which again they will learn nothing from.

Yes, Dustbyn has made the right decision in my opinion, though no doubt not for the same reasons that I would give. It’s interesting to note that Dustbyn got the Labour leadership with a large majority, which perhaps indicates that a large swathe of people in this country want him as PM (this does not include me). The split in the Labour party shows how out of touch the ‘moderates’ are & it is probably they who are the liability, not Dustbyn. The Labour party has always betrayed the working class & it is these opponents of Dustbyn who are set to betray again. However having said that, for all his leftie talk Dustbyn is spineless as his U-turn on EU membership shows & he will not stick to his principles, (not that I want him to), he will betray like all the rest.

David, I’m not sure the BBC were ever invested in the Corbyn Project. They are still grieving over the loss of their beloved New Labour Project. The BBC have been, at best, mildly hostile to Corbyn from the start – now they are just about ready to ditch any last vestige of support for him completely.
Like most of the media mob, left wing to a man (or woman), they are all holding out for the eventual, inevitable, putsch from revenant Blairites pushed into the shadows to tend their wounded pride. To quote my namesake:
“The Sand People are easily startled, but they will soon be back, and in greater numbers.”

I believe you are right. In my experience, most BBC types tend to be European style social democrats and are realistic enough to understand that the far Left cannot win and hold power in this country, so they won’t be enjoying the antics of Corbyn and co. There are exceptions, of course, who are quite a lot further to the Left but they are in a minority.
My estimation of what happened with Labour was that the Parliamentary Labour Party more or less lost its connection with the party’s grassroots support, while the reins of party had been taken over by far Left activists working hand in glove with the Marxist-led unions.
The natural consequence of this is that while Miliband was looked on with scorn by most blue collar Labour types, so will Corbyn be. Neither really appeal to the average Labour supporter, who would have been far more comfortable with someone like Alan Johnson.
The Tories should be grateful that Johnson never had the stomach for the Labour leadership. I suspect he would have destroyed the Tories under an upper class twit like Cameron.
I don’t think most at the BBC (I’m not talking about the student activists on The Now Show) will be relishing Corbyn’s behaviour and I believe you are right – the majority will be praying for a Blairite resurgence.
That said, the Dave Spart tendency is strong at the moment and I’m not sure that outside Parliament itself, sufficient support for Blairites exists to pull it off.
Interesting times.

Ah, Dave Spart. Remember him well from the days when Private Eye was funny and unafraid to take on any part of the establishment. Then Ian Hislop arrived. The funny thing is, back then, Dave Spart was considered a much exaggerated caricature of student political blowhards. How things change, he now leads the Labour Party.

I think we should be thanking Alan Johnson’s police bodyguard. If he hadn’t shagged Mrs Johnson, hubby might have had the heart to stand for the Labour leadership, but after being cockolded by the filth he rather lost his mojo.

In the long term the Corbyn factor will contribute to the destruction of the Labour Party, but in the immediate future his refusal to support dropping bombs on Muslim lands could very well save the Oldham seat for Labour. With 25% of the population consisting of imported Labour voters plus the postal vote bonus such a policy might pay off.

UKIP do not support ‘dropping bombs on Muslim lands’ either, so no need for that issue to affect sensible voters in Oldham. This UKIP supporter certainly doesn’t. Cameron was touting to bomb Syria in 2013, but now he wants to bomb ‘the other side’. Cameron is a liability. A clueless PR man out of his depth. The Labour Party is even more clueless and split on the issue of bombing Syria – not that they have a clue what and who the bombs are to be aimed at, or who they would wish to unite the country come the end of the conflict.
Vote UKIP in Oldham!

The trouble that the Parliamentary Labour Party will have in ejecting their hapless leader is their own very hard left new membership. Ed opened the party up to make it “more democratic” and it has decided to commit political suicide. When you see people like Derek Hatton creeping out from under his stone and creatures like ghastly George Galloway singing Corbyn’s praises you know that Labour are now completely unelectable.
Corbyn is so dithering, ineffectual and gaff prone he makes Michael Foot seem like Ronald Reagan.

Although Michael Foot was profoundly useless, at his heart I think he loved Britain. I am sure you cannot say the same for Corbyn and his Mao wannabe shadow chancellor.

Michael Foot was an intelligent and articulate man. The same can not be said of Jeremy Corbyn.

I am a huge supporter of Mr Corbyn and his sidekicks McDonnell and Livingstone. I hope they lead the Labour Party for many years to come. The country will benefit greatly if this happens, they will have served it well!
Hopefully, now the Liebour Party will now fade into obscurity where it belongs.

But the same idiots will troop out to vote Labour in Oldham!
