I would love to see that clown Harrabin grilled properly on climate change by real scientists. They should start by asking him to establish his scientific credentials; that would have him on the back foot from the off. Then they could move on to ask him to explain some very basic scientific terms and principles. The charlatan would soon dissolve into a grease spot on the floor as his total ignorance of even the most basic science was laid bare for all to see. Just before he is helped out of his chair, the last question could be to ask him why he is the BBC’s Environment Analyst.
Mr. Jones, what you propose smacks of logical and analytical journalism with a hint of scientific thingy.
This will not do. Roger Harrabin is a loyal BBC employee and without fail collects his monthly salary without complaint or any expression of dissent.
Please refrain from adverse and uninvited comments that would possibly impinge on not only his pension but also upon mine. My friends and colleagues have been here in the BBC since 1976 when we graduated with an Arts degree but so thankfully NOT with an oik Science degree that would have given us no credibility.
The BBC this morning on Al BBC1 News … is even more obtuse than usual over Islamic mass murder
in the States
The “possible”, “too early to say”, “isolated”, “some kind of radicalisation” …”so called” …
“no nuggets of information”, “no idea of motive”, (no idea :-D), they re going to check their phones in a desperate search for a clue.
Yep! just a story of “good ole”….
Increasingly devout, bomb making, erm “Middle Eastern” men” bringing strange contraptions in and out of the house
at all hours of the night, with machine guns, rifles and pipe bombs following the mandated Islamic imperative to mass murder
as normal as apple pie I m sure
It was good to see Appeal Court judge Leach overturning the absurd culpable homicide verdict handed down by judge Masipa to Oscar Pistorius and convicting him of the murder of Reeva Steenkamp:
I accessed a number of BBC articles throughout the trial and, incredibly, could not find any bias or agenda one way or the other. This puzzled me greatly, since it’s so rare, until I finally realised why there was no BBC spin on the trial:
Judge Masipa: Black female activist committed to the past anti-apartheid struggle
BBC verdict: Excellent
Oscar Pistorius: White Afrikaans male (very bad) but disabled (good) who successfully put South Africa on the world athletic stage (very good) but killed his girlfriend (bad)
BBC verdict: Neutral
Reeva Steenkamp: White Afrikaans woman (bad) but non-racist and a successful, educated role model for women (very good)
BBC verdict: Good (Very good + bad = good)
Supreme Court Justices: Three male and black (very good) one acting judge who is female and black (excellent) and one white judge (very bad)
BBC verdict: Good (Very bad drags excellent and very good down to the status of good)
Prosecutor Nel: White Afrikaner male determined to get Pistorius
BBC verdict: Terrible
Defence attorney Roux: Pro-criminal white Afrikaner male (bad) but defending Pistorius (good)
BBC verdict: Neutral
Several white witnesses who heard the murder or saw the aftermath outnumbering the black witnesses
BBC verdict: Bad
Testimony of professional white experts outnumbering that of black experts
BBC verdict: Bad
So we have an excellent, a terrible, two neutrals, two goods and two bads. Since they cancel one another out, the BBC simply could not find a way to filter the trial through its agenda before reporting on it. Hence this rare treasure – bias-free contributions from the BBC to a surprised public.
If you can express that as a formula (The TrueToo formula) for worldwide dissemination foreigners could use it to unravel the twisted perverted stance the BBC takes on most other non neutral propaganda it spews out.
Wonderful. This reminds me of a technology called ‘fuzzy logic’, which is employed in modern household appliances like washing machines – in that particular case, to assess just how filthy your clothes are, and how much washing they need to turn them nice and bright. Not so different, perhaps.
I’ve also followed the whole circus from the beginning and cannot for the life of me understand why the BBC have not called into question the competence of the original judge. Her verdict was so flawed that even non-legally trained couch potatoes knew it was wrong.
If a surgeon were to make the equivalent mistake they would have been suspended and very likely struck off the register by their professional body
What exactly is it about the “black female activist, committed to the anti-apartheid struggle” that seems to allow the BBC to give her a free pass?
I was also glued to that trial, watching either live or the recordings on the Internet. At one point in the course of Nel hammering Pistorius over and over on his version of the murder, he appeared close to breaking down and said something like, “I didn’t know if she was awake or nearly awake,” – which statement appeared to demolish his defence, contradicting his earlier claim that he had told her to stay down and call the police.
Strangely, Nel did not challenge him on that but moved on.
As for judge Masipa, she appeared to lack competence, at times relying on the defence or the prosecution to explain points of law to her.
As a black female activist committed to the anti-apartheid struggle, she was almost certainly a political appointment with politics trumping competence.
As for the lefty, PeeCee BBC, someone of her ilk can simply do no wrong.
Lead article on the Al Beeb’s website today? “San Bernardino attackers’ family ‘in complete shock'”
Do the lives of the 14 people, and the others they seriously injured, not matter? The attackers’ families are shocked! Boo-effin’-hoo. So bloody what? Come Al Beeb, even by your standards show a bit of respect for the victims’ families for once! How low can you possibly go but I am afraid to answer my own question.
No, they really don’t – remember the Soviet sleepers, living in suburban USA for years, decades even, with no-one being any the wiser, including their children..
Yep! just like Paris its all … “backlashaphobia” now … (the irrational fear of some backlash – it never materialises, if it wasn t for extremely discredited orgs like Tell MAMA, CAIR, or the MCB? you would never hear of it)
Following on from what has been said on here already, David clueless dork Willis goes inside the alleged muslim terrorist murderers’ flat. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-35011264
‘It’s an ordinary 2-bedroom appartment’…….
‘engaged in ordinary domestic activity’
‘it’s quite extraordinary when you see this’
Well, er no, it’s not extraordinary, I have to say there’s a bit of a fucking pattern developing here.
I’m surprised the BBC is not portraying the Muslim terrorist couple as a fine example of the equality of women in Islam.
She seemed to have been treated equally with him. While we all stupidly thought it was the duty of a Muslim wife to stay at home, looking after the many babies, while her husband is out a’slaughtering infidels?
I suppose though, it is possible she walked and fired from two paces behind him, to show proper Islamic respect towards her husband.
Yuk yuk!
Maybe even a “tee hee”…if not a “titter” or a “snarf snarf”
I`ll not ask what BBC platform this joke was on-would hate to have the Thought police onto the japesters concerned.
I think Muslim men need to think twice before walking ahead of their spouse who is armed with a Kalashnikov and is in her menopausal years !!! It only takes one woman to have a ‘moment’ and all Islamic respect will be doing a rapid U turn !
Oborne has written some cr@p in his time but to seriously suggest in the Mail today that Corbyn ‘won’ Oldham and Farage ‘lost’ it, the guy must be seriously deluded or ‘got’ at.
This is lefty sympathising dross, the public need to hear the real reasons of what’s going on in our towns and cities, it would also appear that UKIP UAF hating members have awoke from their slumbers and started rating the comments.
I’m pretty sure that the Mail’s comment section is targeted by the lunatic Left every now and then. The disparity between the views of the average Mail commenter and the occasional poll where it swings wildly the other way is just too great to be credible.
Do gladioli grow in a sick bucket?
Only ask, because I`ve heard Paul Gambaccini( in full-on BBC suckup mode, after the unpleasantness recently) bewail the Kennedy incident on Nov 22nd 1963(R4. 5/12/15@10.30am).
Utter crap-don`t these people EVER get over this-how more closure do they seek?
Still-allows every sub-Dylan folkie and Obama lite sister act choir to get a chinwag and expenses from out Paul.
Paul says it was more iconic that…well even 9/11…think this was due to number of records made in the best possible taste within ten working days of said (catastrophe and due to gun ownership in one case…or Fred Al-Dibna blowing more than just the bloody doors off two towery things…workplace/HSE violations invoked and processed-so what the fuss-in the other case)
For the record-on the day that JFK became an icon of a future US punk band to come-one Clive Staples Lewis died.
One gets Millicent Martin, a Frost onion tribute and Ned Sherrin only bedding one rent boy that weekend-and the others only some Christian crustie who was not on Muggeridges list-so who cares?
Trouble is-CS Lewis was the last public Christian intellectual this nation had, or was allowed to put the reasoned case for Christianity on public media…and JFK was a wet fart after a bad Vietnamese soup…so trust the liberals to enjoy the air buffet, while fifty years has driven Jesus from the public arena…and left a lovely sword-shaped space to be filleted by Islam.
The death of CS Lewis, of Margaret Thatcher and of Mary Whitehouse were all “iconic moments” where the country ratcheted down to buggery and Brand…November the month where their deaths(or removals in Mrs T`s case) happeneed-but -quelle surprise-the BBC won`t be noting any of THAT!
Get stuffied Beeb!
Moreover, Kennedy was a corrupt, rotten and useless president. Small wonder that he has been lionised by the Left (and a liberal bore like Gambaccini in particular)!
Kennedy was a president who managed to avoid World War III, which I find to his credit. He was also far to the right of any of the slime who call themselves Democrats these days.
True Rob…but I suppose it`s the lazy hagiography for a lazy icon of the liberal left that gets my gander up.
A tragedy…but had Ford or Reagan been killed the creeps like Frost and the groundbreaking “That Was The Week That Was” team of liberal blowhards of standard stock summoning-would not be noting any personal tragedy.
Unlike Kennedy…no disrespect to a decent bloke and family who was as decent as could be allowed at the time( I guess)-but all scorn to these cut and paste liberal lefties with a Saturday to fill up with their aimless musings.
Kennedy was deeply corrupt, incompetent and the ‘managed to avoid WW III’ tag is pretty rich considering it was he who help bring us to the very brink of it!
He has been romanticised and mythologised by the Left. Had he not been assassinated the wheels would have come off his administration. From the point of view of his reputation, martyrdom was the best thing that could have happened to him.
True, but they were totalitarian communist tyrants. What was Kenndey’s excuse?
It’s sad that so many in the UK, even those who are often on the right side of events analysis, have only a knowledge of the absurd Camelot myth – though that’s not surprising given the assiduous cultivation of it by the Left.
This is a short counterbalance. There are many out there.
‘every sub-Dylan folkie and Obama lite sister act choir’
Well said, and gives me a flashback to where I was standing last night when Mastermind – or Humph’s bath chair as I like to call it – was rolled out onto the grassy knoll and left book suppository that is our BBC.
The show presented with the specialist subjects of: ‘the Second World War in Europe, Victorian era British feminist and social reformer Josephine Butler, freemasonry and American folk singer and activist Pete Seeger’ I kid you not. How WW2 crept in there is anyone’s guess – I though most kids under 30 couldn’t tell a Luger from a Stuka since that sort of thing was taken off the comic curriculum
Give any credence to the clear blue water survival chances of the west? – not us at the BBC guv. The unrecognised Pete Seegar contestant in de-bagging area BBC arrives and prior to the first relaxing easy question (eg when was 1066?) we are treated to a quick preamble and orientation exercise from our Humph as to eactly how well our Seegar dressed to the left – quite amazing. I’ll pass.
Funny thing about Pete Seeger – he was once an ardent supporter of Israel, believe it or not. Well, that was shortly after the establishment of Israel when the kibbutz movement on the land slotted in well with general socialist idealism:
Great banjo and guitar there and great harmonies. And part of the song is in Hebrew.
Fast forward some 65 years, and we see that there is no fool like an old leftie fool with his teeth in a ’cause’ like a bulldog with a bone:
Thinking on it, wasn`t Seegoon the one who went for Dylans amp with an axe?
Newport Festival…never drive by the Usk without thinking of them all.
First eco warrior surely…
Aargh!
Week In Westminster-and it`s all Labour celebrating, Labour debating soc and Labour psephologists telling UKIP to man up, and stop fussing over postal votes.
The Tories only won the election a few months back-and now we`re back to our lives, the empty headed Trots and researchers at the BBC think it`s now safe to use our funding to give Labour all due free advice, talking shops and workshops that better reflect what we probably DID vote for-but just didn`t know we had.
F.OFF…BBC….F.OFF!
Note AC Grayling bemoaning the fact that “political correctness” had served its purpose now -and that we all need to thank AC Grayling and his fellow-lefties for bringing the concept home to the UK from Stanford USA-but time now to bin the construct seeing as AC himself rather tires of its restricting nature…being at Buckingham Uni an` all!
Alas poor Tony…poor Germaine, poor Dickie Dawkins, poor Benny Cabbagepatch…all seem to think that when they come up with their fairy airy notions of PC. feminism. atheism and taking refugees etc…that the head of steam that follows the void they leap into can be turned off, and the uni bombers of virtue signalling, safe spacing, trigger alerts and no platforming for hate criminals, deniers of bunny boiling of Gaias rainbow warriors 2015…will safely go back to Baraks!
Sorry you eejit lefties-to gainsay Billy…you DID start the fires…and Islam is doing the barbecues in your fatuous trains and wakes.
AC Grayling-like Bernard Crick-was what passed for a New Labour Philosopher King in those Dark Ages of the Soul from 92 onwards…and he needs the Telegraph to publish his deaf bed concerns…guess the Guardian would draw the trolls (they can`t draw Muhammad anymore now, can they?)
A real Philosopher King was Ronald Reagan-sure he didn`t pay to be taught by Tony-but he did more practical Philosophy, more analysis and more good for the planet and we citizens that the Left could ever do…hence their visceral hatred of him and Mrs Thatcher.
He said this-every generation has to fight anew for its freedom, and so we are always two or three generations away from the extinction of our freedom, security and our democracy…and the pilot light needs tending.
I paraphrase and put my own two cents in there maybe?…but Ronnie said it, whilst I hated him and his ilk…so I was wrong.
But unlike Tony and the liberal oafs( should that not be oaves?) we indulge and reward on the BBC…I learned something in these last twenty years-and Tony now has had the vague feeling of the Euro dropping in his rattling skull.
Fury, already at the centre of a row over his homophobia, said heptathlete Ennis-Hill “looks quite fit when she’s got a dress on” and suggested “a woman’s best place is in the kitchen or on her back”.
Tyson Fury is the Peoples Champion already.
None of us surely expected a British heavyweight champion again in our lifetime did we?
Let alone a white one with a beard.
Wasn`t Joe Bugner some British patriot as well?…vaguely remember him getting the black spot nback in the seventies.
Only wish the likes of Tyson “boxed a little more clever” given that EVERY utterance he`s mad will be back to bite him-and some of his views are daft…but his “immigrant song” alone gives him my respect.
He`s a decent lad, and -as a traveller-ought to be a darling of the BBC.
And since when does a sportsmans political views prevent his sporting achievements from getting the acclaim that they deserve.
Suppose if he slated UKIP(Lineker did)-or defeated a Russian and not a Ukrainian-his views elsewhere might have been excused as being due to brain damage-or old news.
Works always for Ken, for Corby and for Red Mc Donnell and his Mao stuff anyway.
Lifetime Award for Buster Mottram then?
The BBC together with the world’s media release the photograph of the terrorist wife.
They managed to keep it out of the media for quite a long time.
Am I the only one who believes that this is not a genuine photograph?
It looks like one of those artist impressions or an identikit picture.
Apparently the attackers family (as if anyone gives the slightest f**k what they think) are “in complete shock” and that they had no idea the two had been capable of such an attack.
Really? Well, they read the islamic war manual (otherwise known as the koran) didn’t they? In common with every muslim that walks this planet, if they read that f***ing book they are certainly capable of committing such an atrocity.
Surely that was a demonstration about Chelsea’s shite season and nothing to do with radical Islam??? He is really a peace loving guy but very passionate about his team! 😉
What you will NOT hear after the inevitable next Muzzie atrocity;
‘Our reporter spoke to the relatives of the nothing-to-do-with-Islam militant lone wolf and they said ‘Yeah, we all knew Abdul was an extremist terrorist just waiting for his moment to strike you kuffars, as Allah commands.’
agree.
What I don’t like is nearly every media outlet, BBC the main culprit, tries to find some relative who is shocked and appalled etc. Who gives a flying cr*p if some relative is shocked and appalled. What about the victims? Maybe Adolph Hitler’s third cousin twice removed was shocked and appalled as well. Doesn’t change the fact that an atrocity is an atrocity.
Still laughing at the stupidity of this photo on the website arm of Al Beeb Momentum movement and the fact they actually used it. The caption reads “Emergency services have been visiting homes in Appleby to ensure residents are safe”
Radio 2 2pm news headline (in stern tones) ‘THE MET OFFICE HAVE ISSUED THEIR HIGHEST EVER WEATHER WARNING…..in (less stern tones) Cumbria, 8 inches of rain expected…’
Not at all nice for people in Cumbria, but this headline is obviously intended to shock and imply an agenda, other counties are available, currently here in Somerset its 13 degrees, sunny and just a little breezy.
Despite the weather doom forecast for the North West and North Wales by the BBC weatherman on R4 this morning (why did he sound so excited by it all?) this morning’s journey down the M56, A55 and back completed in record time with nothing out of the ordinary to report weather-wise.
And none of the ‘storms’ (is it only 4? seems more like 40) qualify for the description as the worst they have produced so far only fits the ‘strong gale’ category – and only then in isolated examples around the country.
How much more of this ridiculous BBC agenda-driven hype does there have to be before the majority of people finally see through it?
The BBC are hard-line green activists at the best of times but the ‘weather worse than ever’ push is all to rally support for the talking shop in Paris. Heck, the weather is so bad now that the Met Office (hard-line green activists) has even started naming it. Do you think that might be to make people think that we now get hurricanes on a regular basis as well because they have names, don’t they?
Here is some news for the BBC and the Met Office, we know the weather has not got more severe recently because of CO2. Some of us understand statistics and what terms like ‘100 year event’ actually mean. The bigger the computer we buy the Met Office the worse their short/medium term forecasts become but if you want to know whether to put the washing out to dry on 30 June 2146, they have got it nailed.
More likely the BBC didn’t have the space. Or time. Or BBC WS were too busy creating the next ‘not helpful’ piece on anyone articulating unapproved thoughts.
Amazing what £4,000,000,000 and 20,000 staff doesn’t buy you these days, especially after Al ‘s cut.
Yes, it has been very interesting listening to our good old public service weather broadcasters, the Met Office, do as much as they could to “big up” our weather, when reality shows that what we are getting is pretty much normal for the start of winter. There has been a battle royal going on for three weeks now between cold polar air to the North of Manchester and mild Atlantic air to the south of it. The cold air pushing down onto the mild air which has been blocked by high pressure over Africa has caused this conveyer belt of tightened isobars, henceforth the strong wind. Get a front in it or a running depression and the wind speeds pick up a little. Scotland has pretty much had a snow day for nearly three weeks running which is highly unusual for this time of year, which has not been mentioned, because it does not fit the “warming” narrative and as a result all that we have heard about is the “crazy” mild weather. “Crazy”? Hardly, just run of the mill British weather. Well, it now looks like the cold polar air is going to win this battle and it all looks like from Wednesday on we are all going to notice the change. The trouble is, once this polar air arrives, I cannot see anything that is going to shift it, for the high pressure systems to the South of France look like collapsing and as a result there will be nothing to stop us from getting arctic air. White Christmas? I’m having a punt. Won £50 last year!! Anyway, I wonder how much we will hear from the BBC about how “crazily cold” it is or that the temperature will be 6 degrees or more below average? Well, they were only happy to tell us of just two degrees above average weren’t they? Hey, ice scrapers and de-icer at the ready guys, it looks like winter is about to arrive for those living South of Manchester. Have fun next weekend and keep an eye on it.
There’s more weather insight to be gleaned from that one paragraph than a whole year’s worth of listening to BBC/Met Office forecasts and reports. Perhaps you can clue us up a bit on the Jet Stream whenever it’s relevant.
Regular weather updates would be much appreciated as it’s a fascinating topic and one we should all make an effort to understand in this age of ‘climate change’ brainwashing.
I just got off the phone with my 83 year old mother and it was interesting that she too complains about the bias of the BBC. Living in a village in Sussex she has to a large extent been immune to what has happened to British Culture but she has noticed the incredible bias in favour of gimmegrants, the lack of truth regarding affordable housing, the outrageous denigration of any comments that do not support the view of the bBBC, the proliferation of extreme minority support over the democratic process.
In her own words “well you can listen to some local radio and it’s so parochial it’s nonsense or you can listen to the national channels and it’s their own personal views pushed down your throat. There’s no balance anymore. The BBC promote Islam above Christianity and forget other religions; regularly they have stories about Muslim immigrants but forget that we are a Christian country.”
My mum is a silver surfer and I said that’s nothing compared to the bias on the BBC news website!. We ended the phone call as she went to watch Strictly Come Dancing, I did jest it would be the dance of the seven veils next year!
Hardly surprising when back in 2009 the Muslim Aaquil Ahmed was appointed Head of Religious affairs at the Beeb. Don’t know if he’s still in post, but perhaps he sent out a memo that Islam must be promoted ahead of Christianity, who knows !
‘FOI request ‘Spend on ‘after show parties’ for light entertainment shows e.g. Strictly come dancing, Glastonbury festival broadcasts’.
The reason that was supplied for refusing my request is that there is an exemption for information held for the ‘purposes other than those of journalism, art or literature”. I fail to see how this applies to my request. Hospitality of this type is not an integral part of journalism, art or literature in terms of its production.’
Maybe they were hoping to skim some of this budget off to the Botney Black Book?
“This climate change is much worse than I thought, the storm’s gone underground.”
Oldspeaker, why not? If all the missing heat can hide in the deep oceans where we can’t find it or measure it.
I also liked his comment about “train routes” being cancelled. For a brief moment I hoped it was the vanity project of HS2, but I think he meant “train journeys”.
So much material for a comedy sketch on one of the BBC’s famed ‘satirical’ shows. How’s about ‘Talking Climate Bollocks with Roger Halfabrain’, featuring such gems as:
– How to tend those tropical plants we said you’d need to cope with the hot, dry summers we haven’t had yet
– How the European ski economy is coping now there’s no more snow
– How to cope with snow drifts and frozen pipes in an ‘extreme winter weather event’ driven by climate change
– Why global warming leads to increased ice cover in the Antarctic
– Why the sun has no influence on climate whatsoever
– Why the Jet Stream isn’t really worth talking about
– How the settled science had factored ocean warming into its climate models all along – it was just hidden in a deep algorithm somewhere in the code that no-one’s allowed to see
– Your consumer guide to the best candles for lighting your home
– Your consumer guide ‘Exercising to keep warm’
– How a carrot-rich, vegetarian diet really can help you see in the dark
– Why a lack of wind and sunshine is nothing to worry about
– Special report: ‘China, world leader in CO2 reduction and renewables’
– Holiday advice: pack your wellies for the Maldives
etc
etc
America is not ‘baffled’ you childish, spineless and stupid left-wing pillocks. As soon as the names were released we all new the motives behind yet another appalling Islamic terror attack.
Many people on this site complain that the BBC has no more funny shows on radio. I disagree. Have you heard (I’m listening to it now) “Weekend Review”?
OK Al Beeb, the FBI has officially classified the San Bernadino shootings as “an act of terrorism”.
Can you now please stop being disingenuous by calling them “militants”, “freedom fighters”, “combatants” or whatever weasily phrase you and your PC controllers come up with and call a spade a spade. They are terrorists – no “ifs, buts or maybes” – the very same terrorist as the whole Daesh bunch of misfits, thugs and murderers!
By accident, I saw about half of a Dad’s Army episode this evening on BBC1. It was funny. And it also touched upon a number of interesting areas such as loyalty, marriage and adversity. I’ve not seen the episode before, but it was the one where the Platoon decided to have a few beers and a game of darts rather than go on Parade. Much to the irritation of Captain Mainwaring.
What a brilliant cast! And to cast the public school product John Le Masurier as the Sergeant as a foil to middle-class Captain Mainwaring was inspired.
There were no PC driven agendas and I didn’t notice a trans-gendered person…
I’ll be interested to see how political agendas will mutilate the forthcoming film.
Also watched Carry On Screaming , on ITV 3 today . Its definitely non pc . Excellent Hideously White cast , Kenneth Williams , Harry H Corbett , Jim Dale. It is a classic, which the BBC would never show now . They only want Citizen Khan shit, for Corbynista`s these days.
For some reason probably my bad karma. Our digital TV reception has thrown a wobbler and we presently can not get any BBc channels. Funny thing as we don’t miss it, because it’s rubbish. We are still getting ITV 3 and I did watch Carry on.
Well, when the Merlin series was first aired, I couldn’t believe that Guinevere was played by a mixed race (albeit very good) actress. Its so pathetic of casting directors to bung in a person of colour regardless what history decrees, so as to fulfil a ‘quota’.
It has taken Christopher Booker, in tomorrow’s Telegraph, to nail the socialist wannabe tyrant who invented the global warming scam – a man whose death has been , I suspect, deliberately overlooked by all his followers at the BBC, who would rather not have to print the awful (for them) truth.
50 years of the Race Relations Act then?
Birthday cake and party poppets all round as Ritalin Shah “celebrates the bullets” on Radio 4 as I blather on here.
My problem-will the BBC have mentioned that the Left and Unions were fully on board with dear old Enoch at the start?-that the odious Tories let in the Kenyan Asians, who proved to do more good for Race Relations than any amount of bleeding Linton Kwesi Johnson, Sir Lenworth, Bungee Zephaniah or the rest of the race hustlers on the public payroll.
Yep-the Left were the ones who marched for Enoch as the likes of heath sacked the “racist Powell”
Or did the Left get the glory from Ritalin?…much as the Democrats did in the USA for the Civil Rights Act…which tends to be the fruit of Communist hating-Baptist Minister Martin Luther King….a republican I`d have thought.
Only the Left played the race card through the sixties and seventies…but the BBC and Labour-as well as Clintons hollowed out ATM that is the Democrats in the US…tend not to say that…anyone know why?
The BBC are interviewing the family and friends of the attacker no doubt, hence the delay. After all the attacker is the actual victim in the BBC’s eyes, and this will be born out in there pro Islamic spin.
Interesting that what is not in quotes too much up front is what was actually said. As far as I am aware it was not some form of faith related ‘benediction’.
Off now to try and find out more about the condition of the real victims, as the BBC doubtless tries to figure out who to invite on various programmes this morning to credibly claim that it is their community who needs looking after on account of the backlash the BBC keeps trying, and trying to provoke.
rumours that the ineffective taser toy given to Police to avoid the greedy weasels grasping finger had to be used 7 times to subdue the Islamic maniac !
I wonder what Jez has to say about the police using a tazer ?What will beeb have to say ?
‘There are lessons to be learned’.
Perhaps they should have used a real gun ?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-35014995 Love the one in the middle with the home made sign. do you think they have supervision whilst they make these. Now over at the Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/dec/05/riot-police-called-over-anti-refugee-protest-in-belfast We are told “hardline loyalists” mounted a demonstration. Check out the first picture which shows, say around 6 people. Scroll down and on the rent a scum picture you can see how many? I’d say around 6 maybe 10 if the ones in the background are part of the scum, Prime examples of close in tight shots as opposed to longer shots at not that many less people. This is the kind of camera shots that BBc frequently use to disguise numbers in events favouring the agenda. Once you are aware of the propaganda tricks being used you can spot them again and again.
Yes, their propaganda is quite evident in how they photograph events and crop photos.
And the ‘refugees welcome’ crowd and like-minded fools in the church and government should hang their heads in shame at not providing refuge for genuine Christian Syrian refugees first, before even thinking of allowing their Muslim oppressors in. (I assume the 51 are all Muslims.)
The local paper used that word to describe an anti-cuts meeting held in a room at the local city hall.
Having attended a meeting in the same room not long before and looking at the picture there were not even 100 there, but “dozens” or “several”, while being truthful, does not make a headline.
I believe the police often estimate rally attendances at about a quarter of what the organisers claim.
When will we hear the “P” word from Al Beeb ? It was always predictable that Momentum et al would lead a purge of the “Ultra Rightists” from Liebour. Red Book McDonnell is reported to have demanded that MPs at all levels of the party now “unite around the new politics”, adding “there is no going back.” The Nasty Party is just about to kick-off…but don’t expect any “in-depth investigations” from Al-Beeb, just the usual diversionary tactics.
This morning on ‘Broadcasting House’ Radio 4 we have Leftie liberal Anne Diamond, absolutely determined that the Islamic attack on a man in Leytonstone is not a terrorist attack, and she actually used the words – lone wolf, and mental illness. It will be one of the two if not both, because the BBC simply cannot cope with the reality of their lunacy
There has been a very nasty and unprovoked attack at Leytonstone Tube station. A lone knifeman stabbing ordinary Brits and screaming, “This is for Syria.” Police brought the assailant down with taisers.
This hateful Islamophobia is getting completely out of control…
More selective broadcasting from the BBC on this morning’s Radio 4 News: As the knife attacker is brought down by police tazers the only sound the BBC deemed worth broadcasting is a member of the public shouting, “ You ain’t no Muslim bruv”.
Such a delight to see Polly Toynbee on Andrew Marr’s couch this morning – what must it be, nearly 20 hours since she last graced our screens? What a valued personality and worth every penny of the £1400+ expenses for the last two 15 minute homilies.
BBC – Evitri Payet said fellow witnesses were shouting at the suspect: “You’re not Muslim.” …
BBC TV Reports … now have it on loop. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-35016611
Only 40 second report, BBC manages to fit it in three times
… One could assume that there is a narrative at hand … sorry folks, can t trust the BBC
It doesn t matter what someone shouts, the BBC are as bad as bloody twitter
However …… if it deemed vital, “this is for Syria” by the Islamic wannabe mass murderer
Yep! “This is for Syria” as he slashed an elderly mans throat
… is the important part.
Not Islamic pseudo apologetics.
“when you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks”
Verse (47:4) – Quran
Viewing the video, I might be wrong, but to me it looks like its the attacker shouting ‘you ain’t no Muslim bruv’ to the apprehending copper who looks to be a Muslim.
“Fellow passengers reportedly shouted at the man to drop his weapon and one person shouted “You ain’t no Muslim bruv,” a sentiment which has been picked up on social media by people trying to disown and sideline the attacker.”
“As he is pinned down by police, a member of the public shouts: “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv”.”
“Another Twitter user Jackie tweeted under the hashtag: “So porud to be a Londoner. True Muslims don’t try and kill innocent bystanders. peace to true Muslims.””
So that’s three statements, probably none of them from practicing Muslims, that the BBC have used in an attempt to distance Islam from the reality of it in practice.
THE BBC was last night accused of “enforced politically correct blindness” and “diminishing religion” for scheduling fewer than four hours of original Christian programming in more than 300 hours of shows over Christmas.
Ten years ago, the BBC broadcast eight hours of Christian programming on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day alone, including dramas based on the Christmas story such as The Mystery Of The Three Kings.

Please accept that we know better than you.

Wilful deliberate ignorance takes some work

It was good to see Appeal Court judge Leach overturning the absurd culpable homicide verdict handed down by judge Masipa to Oscar Pistorius and convicting him of the murder of Reeva Steenkamp:
https://www.enca.com/south-africa/catch-it-live-oscar-pistoriuss-be-decided

Thanks Stuart Beaker.
Perhaps fuzzy logic can expose the BBC’s flimsy logic.

Excellent post and analysis TrueToo,
I’ve also followed the whole circus from the beginning and cannot for the life of me understand why the BBC have not called into question the competence of the original judge.
Maybe she is now qualified enough for senior legal position in the USA?
Thanks, thirdoption,
I was also glued to that trial, watching either live or the recordings on the Internet.

It is a joke . The idea that the families never have an inkling. What utter rubbish. And , of course, the useless BBC never question them closely.

Winter looks likely to arrive in France, too, around the 18th…

There’s more weather insight to be gleaned from that one paragraph than a whole year’s worth of listening to BBC/Met Office forecasts and reports. Perhaps you can clue us up a bit on the Jet Stream whenever it’s relevant.
Regular weather updates would be much appreciated as it’s a fascinating topic and one we should all make an effort to understand in this age of ‘climate change’ brainwashing.
Many thanks.

All it needs is a soundtrack. A tasteful one, of course.

Still seems more like a B-movie trail even now.
Maybe James is still in deep convo with the WN team on who next to task on ‘not helpful’?
Which would be, on balance, ironic.

The BBC can be quite quick on its feet in response. Or not. Apparently.
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/spend_on_after_show_parties_for?
‘FOI request ‘Spend on ‘after show parties’ for light entertainment shows e.g. Strictly come dancing, Glastonbury festival broadcasts’.
The reason that was supplied for refusing my request is that there is an exemption for information held for the ‘purposes other than those of journalism, art or literature”. I fail to see how this applies to my request. Hospitality of this type is not an integral part of journalism, art or literature in terms of its production.’
Maybe they were hoping to skim some of this budget off to the Botney Black Book?
Popcorn already ordered.

– Holiday advice: pack your wellies for the Maldives

The BBC used to be rather good at comedy shows.

What will be Al Beeb’s take on this ?

Nothing on the BBC yet. Daily Express has a video already. It doesn’t sound too promising for the victim.

The BBC are interviewing the family and friends of the attacker no doubt, hence the delay. After all the attacker is the actual victim in the BBC’s eyes, and this will be born out in there pro Islamic spin.

Still nothing on the BBC at 22:07. Attack happened around 3 hours ago.

Strangely, BBC 24 have called it a Terrorist incident. Are they jumping the gun?

“Three others are also thought to have suffered injuries”.

This is only the beginning I fear.

DS the BBC have put “terrorist incident” in quotes as it’s the Met who’ve called it that.
To the BBC it’ll be a chap on te way to a cookery demonstration whose had a bit of an accident with one of his knives.

Interesting that what is not in quotes too much up front is what was actually said. As far as I am aware it was not some form of faith related ‘benediction’.
Off now to try and find out more about the condition of the real victims, as the BBC doubtless tries to figure out who to invite on various programmes this morning to credibly claim that it is their community who needs looking after on account of the backlash the BBC keeps trying, and trying to provoke.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-35014995 Love the one in the middle with the home made sign. do you think they have supervision whilst they make these.

“Hundreds”

The state of the Islamophillic BBC:
“Fellow passengers reportedly shouted at the man to drop his weapon and one person shouted “You ain’t no Muslim bruv,” a sentiment which has been picked up on social media by people trying to disown and sideline the attacker.”
“As he is pinned down by police, a member of the public shouts: “You ain’t no Muslim, bruv”.”
“Another Twitter user Jackie tweeted under the hashtag: “So porud to be a Londoner. True Muslims don’t try and kill innocent bystanders. peace to true Muslims.””
So that’s three statements, probably none of them from practicing Muslims, that the BBC have used in an attempt to distance Islam from the reality of it in practice.

http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/624548/BBC-Christmas-programming-four-hours-Christian-shows-slammed-Stephen-Green
