Vote Leave and it’s War

Francois Mitterrand and Helmut Kohl at Verdun

Cameron resorted to wild-eyed rhetoric exclaiming that voting to leave the EU will result in another world war and despite being widely ridiculed for his stupid, divisive and wrong hyperbole the BBC has quietly taken to promoting his pro-EU propaganda that war will be the inevitable result of a leave vote.

A story about the Battle of Verdun in WWI has been hijacked by the BBC and has been presented to us as symbol of EU solidarity and the importance of unity ending the report with this…

Verdun also became the symbol of European reconciliation. Chancellor Helmut Kohl and President Francois Mitterrand held hands there in 1984 and on Sunday, Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel will speak again of their shared European vision.

For the UK, the Somme centenary on 1 July will be this year’s main World War One moment. For British, Irish and Commonwealth families, it is the Thiepval memorial and the poppy fields that captured the collective memory.

In both countries, the need for a single transcendent focus has obscured wider appreciation of the history of the war.

But 100 years on, there is still much to learn.

Yep, much to learn…such as the Germans have long had a dream of a shared Europe..under their leadership…even now they seek to head the secret EU army that is being created and they already control the EU economy…just ask Greece and Ireland…but the BBC hasn’t, as we’ve noted in the previous post, bothered to report such significant events.

Why does the BBC choose to report things that present a rosy picture of the EU but not those that illustrate the truth about its political ambitions and empire building?

Did it for instance report the arrogant Juncker’s threatening words?...

‘Deserters will not be welcomed with open arms’: Brussels chief issues stark threat that EU will punish Britain if we vote to leave

Britain will be treated like a ‘deserter’ by the EU if it votes to leave, the president of the European Commission has said.

Jean-Claude Juncker warned that Germany, France and other states would not ‘bend over backwards’ to help if the UK abandoned the union.

It is the latest bloodcurdling threat about the consequences of cutting ties with Brussels.

The French finance minister previously sparked fury by insisting the UK would be ‘killed’ by its former partners in negotiations over a post-Brexit trade deal.

Why would any country wish to be ruled by such an egotistical and imperious, jackbooted dictator?  Nice to have the choice though…the choice the BBC doesn’t want you to have as it covers up Juncker’s revealing comments.

If this is how these unelected EU collectivists speak to us now, imagine how they’ll treat us if we vote to Remain. In addition , when have these EU countries ever helped us? I recall when we were in the exchange rate mechanism, it was doing immense damage to us as a country. We asked Germany for help and they refused. Also, in the period 2007-8 I remember some arrogant EU leaders telling the world that the financial collapse was the fault of the Anglo-Saxons; the German banks had played no part and were quite unaffected. Well, the truth about Deutsche Bank has exposed that blatant lie. These people are our enemies and unless they succeed in destroying us, they always will be.

There is a constant in the rhythms of history that are ever present.

      Gemany’s hankering for an empire.

Russia’s hankering for warm water ports

France’s desire to be the intellectual centre of Europe.

Britain got over its hankerings, as it had the greatest empire the world has ever seen, and then got rid of it.

France’s pretensions are not a danger. That leaves Germany and Russia. No wonder both saw each other as the greater threat. Still do.

So it is that America will continue to checkmate Russia, and keep Germany’s fears under restraint.

The fun starts when the US withdraws and leaves Europe to it’s fate. Russian fears will make life dangerous especially as the EU seems determind to expand eastwards.
However Russian military power at the moment looks as if it will be more than a match for a 9-5 German army and a useless rest of the EU forces. Can anyone seriously imagine Sweden as a threat to anyone? Or Holland or France? France has nuclear weapons but these are useless now in Europe.
If we can but quit the EU and Nato as well it will enable this country to have an independent foreign policy .It could be that ours and Russia’s interests coincide far more than in former times.
After all apart from the odd Crimea incident this country and Russia have never really had any reason for enmity. That is unless you took the Cold War seriously.

Its certainly a new approach. Leaving the EU is good for all. However, leaving NATO could be a problem, as we don’t have a serious navy, air force or army. All three are completely dependent on USA.

I recall too that in the Swiss referendum on EU, all the MSM, the banks, governments , EU leaders, World Bank and IMF leaders, the heads of multinationals, were telling the Swiss, that to vote “NO” to the EU would lead to a plague of frogs. Switzerland would perish under EU penalties.

Well the Swiss did vote “NO”. The frogs failed to materialize. And when the Euro went into a tailspin, all the leaders, specially the banks and multinationals were so glad that their investments, savings etc were nice and safe in Switzerland.

Moral – all these leaders are like a herd. Group Think. They go along with the herd. Unable to think intelligently. The BBC coordinates group think.

When the 2 Germanys became 1 I could have changed my name to Mrs Paranoid as I predicted that Germany would try by stealth what they failed to do by force. The rest of Europe needs to see the EUSSR for what it is, the backbone of the new fourth Reich headed by Herr Merkle. Or have I gone even more paranoid??

No not really. The good thing about Germany is that you can trust it to over reach, and come a cropper. The latest is inviting limitless number of Muslims. We can do it. Yes you can Baby. Good luck.

Nicholas Ridley came a cropper for suggesting this at the time. It cost him his career, but he was right. The leitmotif running through Germany’s relations with other nations has always been: “Be my friend or I will kill you.” Nothing seems to have changed.

In five years, Herr Merkel will blame Germany’s ills on the muslims. Herr Goreballs will become the Minister of Fact and special camps will be built.

Having united Germany through common purpose, Herr Merkel will seek to ensure compliance throughout Europe by……

Best thing is. The ‘impartial’ body who has looked into both camps claims came out with the statement that those for Brexit told hte biggest whopper when they said the amount leaving the UK for Europe was the sum they gave. Odd how that was a bigger lie than world war 3 would start is we left. I would say that both teh WW3 claim and the fact the head of ISIS wants Britain to leave the EU are for bigger whoppers than anything teh pro-leave camp have said. I won’t even mention the fact there would be a 10% drop in growth which as Andrew Neil pointed out was bigger than WW1 bigger than any other crash in history

I do find myself wondering whether the powers that be will honour a vote to leave in any case?

Good Lord. I never thought of that. The Postal Vote cavalry. The Great Postal Vote Robbery. Yes.

But to ignore an inconvenient referendum result?

But the EU has form when it comes to ignoring referendum results that dont agree with the EU.

Yes, it does actually have form on that front.

Time is going to tell all with this as with all things I guess.

The old adage “if voting really changed anything they would abolish it” does come to mind.

        Interesting times.

Well I will be taking a biro with me into the polling booth. I can see no reason whatsoever for using a pencil other than it makes it quite simple for someone to correct my vote.
