No Question Time this week, but instead, on the night of the most important vote of the past 50 years, we have an all night chat (for those with the stamina anyway). David Dimbleby anchors the coverage of the results, assisted by a predictably leftist menagerie of Remainiacs. If it all gets too sickening there will be the option to switch to ITV’s live coverage instead.
Kick off tomorrow (Thursday) at 9.55 pm
Odds on Britain leaving the EU before 10pm were 7.8 (decimal odds) – currently 2.36 (close to evens) but was 2.1 about 15 mins ago. Placed a £15 bet earlier and just cashed out. Profit £83.
Come on LEAVE!!! This is better than Euro 16.

Under normal election constituency based conditions, Leave would win easily.

Londonistan has a potential of 1 million remain votes.

Well, I’ve just looked at the map of GB following the last G.E. and based upon who voted for whom in that General Election, if the voting was based upon the call for a referendum and out vote, as I compare and contrast to what is now happening, the Remainers are running out of voters. I still can’t get over the Welsh vote.

Exactly!

Ed Miliband and John McDonnell are happy to talk about immigration now the voting has ended. Too late you idiots!!!

John McDonnell saying we need to renegotiate free movement of labour with the EU – good luck with that!
Other Labour politician saying the electorate don’t believe them any more – any wonder when they spout shit like this?!?

A lot of votes still to come in. Only 7 million votes so far out of 30-35million or so? We’ve got a lot of the die-hard pro-Remain areas out of the way too. Still a lot of London to go though 🙁
(Edit) sorry, meant to reply to Demon below. It’s the Polish lager…

By this point, we’ll be roughly two-fifths of the way there. A key area to focus on is City of Lancaster, which will probably vote the same way as the rest of the UK.”

Well, I think the folk who are running their online site on this referendum have just shot themselves. The site is now busted. As the leave votes have started to come in thick and fast, their pretty graphics showing the uK turn Blue isn’t working and all I’m getting is comment from Labour Party has beens. It is dire.

Funny – everyone talking about immigration now is suddenly non-racist. Amazing the difference a day makes, isn’t it?

All we need now is for England to win the football and rub the EU noses in the muck a little more.

That’s taking things too far wronged. But I agree!

Wow, we’ve killed it in the last few minutes – back to 50.7 in the lead.
Lots of talk that whatever the vote a split like this is bad for the country – but let’s face it, this is all about who wins! If Remain win then we’re stuffed.

Thrasher is predicting a result of 53% victory for Leave! Holy crap.

My home town of Wolverhampton, Liebour stronghold and lefty-university town that it is, has just voted 62.6 to 37.4 in favour of Leave, thus restoring my once weakening faith in my fellow Wulfrunians.

Ever been to Sheffield? They’d vote for a turd if you pinned a red rosette on it. Come to think of it, they do!
Was hoping for a much bigger margin though.

BBC TV News at 03.34:
“”Nigel Fargage is looking increasingly defensive””
No. He said he was looking forward to gaining control of our borders.
How is that defensive?
BBC Bias against UKIP as ever.

Is al Beebus going to interview Farage during the referendum or wait until after Cameron resigns?

why don’t they tell us stuff like how many more votes to come from London etc etc instead of spouting shite

What would be really useful would be a display of how much better (or worse) each side is doing so far, compared to the 50% baseline.

I know I’ve had a bit to drink, but the map of Wales is looking incredibly blue. And after that wonderful Welsh Labour Rally with Comrade Corbyn and that Scottish bird, the one named after a fish…. Who’d a thought it…

If only the pillock hadn’t suggested we were heading for defeat at 10pm…
Apologies – if it wasn’t for Nigel we wouldn’t have this referendum.

He probably didn’t – he was probably stitched up by the media into making a tentative prediction which was then “spun” into concession. Or am I wrong?

You’re probably right Mike. I find Nigel has been behaving a bit strangely this last day or two. Dropping out of the debate on June 22 was weird. I don’t blame him – he deserves several years on holiday for all the work he’s put in. And a knighthood. Two knighthoods.

Absolutely. In spades. And how is he awake, and even cogent, at this time in the morning?!? I can only just about keep my eyes open.

On Sky (sorry, I can’t bear BBC) they just said Manchester was very pro-Remain partly because it has a large black population. Checked Google – total black population of Greater Manchester 1.2%. That was a nasty racist slur.

A new day has dawned has it not?
What a beautiful sunrise emerging.
My highlights thus far?…
1. Alastair Campbell appearing on both ITV and BBC, with both sides of his face getting slapped like an arse…dying in stereo
2. James Mates on ITV clearly appalled at the chavs here who`ve put his pensions, Eurostar and business expenses into free fall.
Feel we should send him some money-he looks like he`ll be hitching home with a few asylum seekers on his lilo!
Tis wonderful to be up and alive to see this-poor Dimbleby can hang onto the fact that Richmond voted to stay in..Passport to Pimlico again?
Next PM-Jacob Rees Mogg-who else?…Chancellor Michael Gove !
Makes you proud to have kicked the first brick out of the Brussels Wall….arise Sir Nigel!…and thank ee sir!

Mogg: “If the EU is a club that will kneecap you when you leave, it’s not a club you want to belong to, is it” – this, very much this

That was the best line of the night from J.R-M.

Hogg speaks on EU.
He says that is it the sort of club you want to belong to that if you leave, it wants to knee cap you.
Bloody brilliant! Would Cameron or Corbyn say that at 4 am in the morning? I suggest no.

Yes chrisH, a new day is dawning. And lines have been drawn, words spoken will be remembered and positions taken will be recalled. Politicians from both sides have shown their colours, and most of them are on the wrong side of history. We will neither forgive nor forget.
