Monday morning and a new week of relentless BBC bias for you to bring to our attention….
Just logged on to the Guardian, to see what gems of wisdom I can find there.
Top of the page, their Rio 2016 banner.
With a rolling slide show of pictures, five pictures exactly.
Showing, face forward, five negroes. Plus the rear view of someone named Da Silva who I cannot identify.
Racist or what?
So I go to the jobs section, made easy for me by their thoughtful provision of categories and the number of positions available therein.
Here is a selection :-
Charities 1313
Construction 155
Marketing and PR 2006
Media 1332
Schools 2204
Skilled Trade 24
Lots of pencil sharpening opportunities for those who do not want a real job.

The German president would obviously fit in well with our leftists .. he recently said “The People Are The Problem, Not The Elites”
It is good to see someone so in touch with their electorate!

What you see is not what you get
BBC News Channel has been turned into the Olympics glee club – we know this. Reports of muggings and empty stadia are either surpressed or quickly glossed over.
What is less expected are outright falsehoods. This morning Charlie Stayt-ist promises us an amusing ‘Cuban’ weightlifter doing a little shimmy after his clean and jerk. In some peculiar way this is to do with his island being at threat from global warming and rising sea levels. Nice moves. But who isn’t coming clean and who is the jerk? The happy chappie wears a Kiribati team shirt.
Are the BBC obsessed with Cuba? Wonder what first attracted the BBC to that Communist anti-American island?

Not by me, I expect the bastards to lie at every opportunity, the reason they fail to do so is due to incompetence, not lack of effort.

Well we are finally having a summer in Wales after all the fairly miserable and mundane weather we have had so far , despite the frequently predicted ‘heat waves ‘

Note that the BBC is quick to allow comments on this pressing matter, as it has done over the bread and circuses of the Olympics.
Not quite so quick to allow comments on anything to do with immigration and “refugees” as, on the few occasions they have done so, they have had their backsides handed to them on a plate. In fact, you’d think immigration problems must have stopped this summer, because they’ve barely been reported.

I see that our ‘Clapped out bus man’ and ‘Troll- ey’ driver is making himself known in the ‘comments’.

Just what I’ve been thinking ! are they still coming en-masse into the Greek Islands, or across the Med to Italy ? I suppose unless there are any deaths, we are not being told.

The past MO on climate/GreenBlob is avoid real debate at all costs.
So occasionally they do run a HYS, but it’s like they alert mobs og Green Zombies before they open the page, so they all pile in. Then skeptics turn up posting common sense and then suddenly the comments are closed and selected one removed.

There is a transcript on the ABC page
It’s the second #GetMalcolm stunt the GreenBlob media team.
“Malcolm is a conspiracy theorist” was their first one, as they traced back comments he made saying much of GreenBlob families are the same ones who own the Federal reserve bank..(It is true the families own it, but it is disputed as too whether that means they control its policy)
Since he was a surprise Senator the GreenBlob media team had not tried stunts before……..They don’t really matter as he’s in power now for the next 3 or 4 years.

Headline on front page of Guardian, “Brexit effect to snuff out gains for UK workers”
Smaller heading: “Small pay boost from immigration cut overshadowed by faltering economy.”
This has changed slightly to :
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/aug/15/brexit-damage-to-uk-economy-will-outweigh-wage-gains-study-finds
But, how come, before the vote, the BBC/Guardian rubbished the idea that immigration led to lower wages for the poorer, unskilled sector but now wants to use the same fact as a stick to beat Brexit voters?
What on earth do even the most devout believers in Guardian readers make of this dichotomy?

http://news.sky.com/story/knifeman-attacks-passengers-on-austrian-train-10538699
It has already been covered on RT, and like the rest of the world, from Australia to Zambia will be reported.
Similar to yesterdays Cologne attack, where the rest of the world, from Australia to Zambia reported on it.
Of course the BBC did not report on the cologne attack, why would it. But was it just an oversight?
We will know if it is a new censure policy, if today’s attack is unreported.
By the way the Australia to Zambia statement is true. Bishop Aukland in New Zealand gave the best report in my opinion. Somehow it must have just passed the BBC by.
I’m sure they’ll report on today’s Austrian attack.
60 year old man appeared ‘mentally confused’ while trying to cut train passengers heads off. Not terrorist related. Well, d’uh!
Remember the new blanket rule. You can be mentally fit to commit murder, but simultaneously not mentally fit to commit terrorism. And that mental assessment can be made on the spot, by just ‘appearing’ mentally unstable to any bystander.
Fingers crossed at the BBC that nobody dies. Otherwise they might have to report it.

If white people are murdered and the ‘victim’ who butchered them is of ‘medium complexion’ then its scientifically indisputable thats it’s because the real ‘victim’ is mentally deranged and/or Norwegian. And that can be worked out as soon as skin colours are identified or Allahu Akbar is confirmed to have been cried before enrichment took place.
If a white man who is running around wearing a empty box of cornflakes for underpants and a skinned rabbit as a helmet, screaming “I was made by the fairy people out of plasticine” carries out an Islamic act, then it’s because all white people are far-right racist, Islamaphobes….
I thought everyone knew that?!

With the BBC wall to wall Olympic coverage you would need a major terror attack that kills 100+ before the BBC would even consider cutting away from live coverage of ‘Poland vs Mexico doubles table tennis round 2 practise session’.
BBC has become like the Heat magazine. Celebrity/gay/Twitter news is in, world events are out.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/08/16/london-mayor-to-set-up-police-online-hate-crime-hub-in-partnership-with-social-media-firms/
This is appalling as almost anyone can be accused of online ‘hate’ crime
““Pure rants, very childish [people online] are increasingly criminalised, and as a result of that the police is becoming more and more involved in controlling our morality”, explained Frank Furedi, emeritus professor of sociology at the University of Kent, on BBC Radio 4 this morning.”
“[The police are] almost playing the role of a moral police. And instead of dealing with real crime in the offline world, [the police] find its very convenient to ‘send the message’ in the online world because it’s a relatively easy thing to do”, he said.
Adding: “And what I’m really worried about, is that the whole freedom of speech becomes compromised whenever people have to think twice about what they say”.
The law criminalises “using [a] public electronic communications network in order to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety,” and can result in a six-month prison term or fine of up to £5,000.
So that’s just about every single base covered there, and anyone can be prosecuted if they dare to post anything the authorities don’t like on the Web.
What are the idle Tories doing about it? Nothing of course, it’s what they do best !

Thoughtful, we have the truth on our side. Telling the truth will never be a hate crime. This is just a tactic to try and control those who are brave enough to speak out about the spineless cowards that infest our political establishment and their traitory, with fear.
The left use sensorship of voices and attack and ridicule against those who speak the truth. The painful truth that they do not want the sheeple to know. They can never use anything that’s true or fact as a statement of hate, and is why the ridicule and abuse is used so fanatically by the left.
Just play these bastards at whatever rules they set. They are losing, which is why they are coming up with such unworkable, completely Islamic policies.

embolden,
Point accepted. My use of the term ‘Christian do gooders’ followed the pejorative use of the term which frequently contrasts good Christians with virtue signalling Christians who turn out whenever a protest is organized against the rape gangs in our cities, and follow the Arch Bishop of Canterbury and many other bishops who write to the newspapers condemning as racist/fascist those who object to Islamification. I include also those Christians of the Interfaith movement and uncritical supporters of open borders.

In other words; there are good Christians and there are bad Christians, depending on the circumstances. All Christians are equal, but some are more equal than others.

“…hence the number of practising Christians in HM armed forces and the police.”
What number is that then?
Edward,
My use of the popular expression ‘Christian do gooders’ in itself does not support the inference that there are good and bad Christians or anything about some being more equal. I am sure many Christians would refer to the virtue signalers as hypocrites rather than genuine Christians.
To give an example, as a young man I drove van delivering food to the needy as part of a Christian charity. It did good work. But the woman assisting me never stopped going on about how good she was following her Christian duty. Yes, she was doing good work. But it pissed me off to hear her say it.

GWF,
I go along with your definition of “do gooders”, but an extended one. The ones who believe they are doing good , but are actually doing harm. The Pope and Welby being examples. But, obviously they are nothing compared with the evil of Islam. They just facilitate it by acquiescence . They may mean well but they are very stupid.
Grant,
Exactly, I cannot believe that the Pope, Welby and many others are evil. They wrongly lend support to the evil that is in Islam.
Among the do gooders in the pejorative sense are the celebrities with their cardboard sheets, saying ‘I am standing up to racism’. It costs them nothing.

“I cannot believe that the Pope, Welby and many others are evil.”
I don’t think they’re particularly good either. I can’t describe Welby as stupid. But if I’m right, what does that make him?
In 2016, I think they’re an irrelevance, or they should be.

As always, Edward, you appear again to ask an interesting question, as well as setting an interesting precedent.
Given the topic of the blog, do you happen to know how many times the BBC uses a vague figure or empirical opinion that, if asked to substantiate, then retreats behind expressions of belief or special exemptions unique to them?
I do realise that this too, is a question.
It is possible that if Whatdotheyknow falls foul of the latter, Google can still be your friend.

Its always the same sort of people that slide around taking up these roles. I looked at this some years ago and satisfied myself that it was ‘jobs for the boys’ (with a nod and wink). Then, as an example, it was quite natural for an employee of OFCOM to slide over to a similar position within any one of the other quangos and vice versa. I must say, it reminded me of musical chairs.

Black Lives Matter – London
13 hrs ·
The Labour Leadership hasn’t really been mentioned on this page previously, however I feel that it is important to now bring it to our attention. Owen Smith recently came out supporting the Prevent Strategy which is entrenched with racism and Islamaphobia, whereas Jeremy Corbyn has time and time again shared his support for the Black Lives Matter movement and has been on many rallies and protests against racism. Today was the Jeremy Corbyn BAME rally, which I attended and it was amazing to see Jeremy once again speaking out about racism in our society. If you are eligible to vote in the leadership election, it is crucial that you vote Jeremy Corbyn as he is putting racial equality on the agenda unlike Owen Smith, and definitely unlike the Tories. If you are not eligible to vote in the leadership election, just remember that Jeremy Corbyn has supported the Black Lives Matter movement time and time again and he will fight for us. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/jeremy-corbyn-spoke-bame-rally-20…

Hey BLM. Get your facts sorted out.
‘Arab Muslims do not tell their black “friends” that the word for BLACK, as in a Black person, in Arabic is “SLAVE.” ‘
“Therefore the Negro nations are, as a rule, submissive to slavery, because [Negroes] have little [that is essentially] human and have attributes that are quite similar to those of dumb animals, as we have stated.”
That is from Ibn Khaldun in 1377, one of the greatest Arab minds ever.

My jaw dropped when I heard Radio 4 this lunchtime. Some Labour woman MP was saying that what happened in Cologne on New Year’s Eve happens on the streets of Birmingham every day…could she possibly be saying that certain types of people are more likely to indulge in sexual harrassment…surely some mistake…! Indeed there was. She explained that sexual harrassment of women had nothing to do with immigration, but was something that went on, everywhere, all the time, in England. She only mentioned Birmingham because it was her home town! If that was her intention it might have been better if she’d cited a part of England that didn’t have a high immigrant population, such as, erm…well i can’t think of any right now but Birmingham was a bad choice!

Well, having seen some of the females that walk the streets during the day, (young, very large, hair pulled back and make-up free, normally pushing a pram) I would say that the harrassers aren’t that fussy !!!

Ref the mental illness in the enrichers noted above.
Article in the Guardian about the ex footballer tasered.
BLM UK spokesman quoted, part of the quote is
“More than two-thirds of police Taser uses have been against people with mental health issues. This is likely to disproportionately affect black people who are 17 times more likely to be diagnosed with a psychotic illness. . . .”
Seventeen times, so I looked myself.
http://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/statistics/prevalence/serious-mental-illness-smi-among-us-adults.shtml
This came up first on Google and I did not consult any of the other results.
US figures, for 2014, showed lower levels of SMI (serious mental illness – definition given in source) in blacks than in Hispanics and 70% of white levels!
No 17X here. So I then Googled for “Psychotic” in case Psychotic was not a serious mental illness, and therefore excluded from US NIMH figures!
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23904054
USA study again 2013. This gave Hispanics 13.6%, Blacks 15.3%, Whites 9.7%.
I conclude BLM UK are testiculating again, excusing definitely congenital black traits, bad attitude, chip on shoulder, violent, dim, criminally prone. Oh and did I mention mendacious? Yes I did.

Has the religion of any competitor, let alone a winner, of Bake Off, other than the feted Nadia, been of note? Why should it be? Why does the BBC see itself as the PR arm of Islam?
Six years ago Bake Off began, and the first series and a couple thereafter, comprised of a fairly mixed age group of white male and female home bakers. Clearly the Beeb didn’t know where this was going to go and how popular it was going to be, so was content for the programme to be tucked away on BBC2. I suspect for a programme to be a multi colour/multi religion from the kick-off was not considered to be a ratings winner, so they stuck with the Womens Institute/Village Fete atmosphere with the competition tent and bunting. Playing safe in other words.
It was a ratings winner – switch to BBC1, and now the boat can be really pushed out and be inclusive of every race/religion/gender/sexual variation. The Nadia Hussein series had the lot !, but it appears that this series there are no hijabs, only a turban, so maybe the choice of contestant will not be so controversial this time, with the media thrashing the Beeb received last year over the PC content.
And still no-one has heard of Jane Devonshire.

I have to say that the article by Salma Yaqoob is nothing but one long Taqqiya set of lies to try to build something which simply isn’t there, and it’s typical of the Fascist left who are desperate to justify their position to seize on it, and champion it.
Here are some of the most egregious lies:
“Today, Muslims are associated with “grooming” when the biggest grooming scandal has been in the Catholic church.”
By a country mile this is not true, and in addition the paedos who infiltrated the Catholic church did not select their victims because they saw them as less than human.
“To blame a whole race, ethnic or religious group for the actions of a few is racism”
Firstly this isn’t true, it isn’t racism – there’s no such thing anyway! But it wasn’t the actions of a few it was the action of the vast majority who if they weren’t participating were all too aware and did nothing.
“The Iraq war, but Muslims like myself who expressed concern about government policy will no doubt continue to be vilified as unpatriotic or even as extremist sympathisers.”
This is simply not true, and the vast majority of the British people opposed BLiars illegal war.
“The most chilling aspect of all this is that a whole industry has been created to promote Islamophobia and anti-Muslim prejudice.”
Again this is a lie and only applies to the USA from a report CAIR issued which is not credible.
“It is not only those engaged in politics like myself, London mayor Sadiq Khan or Baroness Sayeeda Warsi who receive abuse”
Well whoopi doo! welcome to politics and everyone gets called names and receives abuse. It’s not just Muslims, get over yourself !
“there is now little outcry when a mosque is attacked, or when kids come home crying after being taunted for their faith, or when an elderly man like Mohammed Saleem is murdered.”
Absolutely untrue! There is hysteria when any non Muslim goes near a Mosque (which is their idea of an attack) & of anyone throws a pork product at it they can expect a prison sentence. No evidence is offered about kids, and no comment about when it’s the other way around which even the BBC has run a documentary on. As for Mohammed Saleem why is the killers Eastern European nationality omitted? probably because she couldn’t find a white British person who had committed such an act.
“As a child growing up in the 1980s I could not then have imagined a world where hate crime against Muslims in the west would be increasing, not decreasing. ”
Well Duh! There was no such thing as the oppressive affront to freedom & democracy which is so called hate crime, and so there was only one way for them to go! With the help of Fiyaz Mughal lying to increase these so called crimes it’s no surprise they were increasing !
“I still feel Britain is the best place to live.”
Yes I bet you do, because everything you have written is a lie !
“But yet again, we are faced with the “hijab/niqab/veil” debate. Never has this debate taken into account nuns or Orthodox Jewish women, who also choose to cover themselves.”
Neither Nuns nor Orthodox Jewish women obscure their faces so they cannot be seen, and to compare the two is another deceit.
“Nadiya Hussain’s Great British Bake Off triumph is a great example of what integration looks like. But her experiences of anti-Muslim prejudice should be a wake-up call to all British politicians.”
I don’t think I need comment on this lie either.

Looking forward to how the BBC treat the Anjem Choudary conviction. Story still in a ‘More to follow’ state at the moment. Presumably they’re having a meeting to decide how best to omit the ‘M’ word and the ‘I’ words.

BBC have a big article on this now
How Anjem Choudary’s mouth was finally shut
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36979892
Opening paragraph “For 20 years Anjem Choudary stood on street corners, in shopping precincts, outside mosques, embassies and police stations and used his megaphone to drive a wedge between Muslims and the rest of Britain.”
Errr…not quite…. its the the Quran that is driving a wedge between Muslims and the rest of Britain.
I cannot work out if the BBC is stupid, in denial, or something else when they deal with Islam.

They do appear stupid to those of us value our way of life but the BBC don’t value it, in fact they despise it. Therefore their actions are entirely logical in as much as supporting Islam and multiculturalism steadily undermines our culture, our history and our way of life. The people who are stupid are those that let them do it, the politicians.

Dave – I get a feeling that Aunty is at this very moment talking to the MCB who will no doubt give them the direction they are currentty lacking on Choudary.
Perhaps that other odious traitor -sorry I meant that great humanitarian Shiner should offer his services to Choudry for free as I hear he is at a bit of a loose end at the moment.
Must be frustrating for the poor man at the moment with no squaddies to persecute for no reason except to sate his own bitterness against those who have achieved more in their lives than he ever will. Greedy, vile, parasite.

A White boy of 18 has been stabbed to death by a mixed race thug on the streets of london today. Here is the daily Mail report:
Horror as teenager is killed after running for his life from knifeman who then sat beside him and repeatedly stabbed him as children looked on
An 18-year-old man was stabbed to death after ‘running for his life’ down a suburban street, witnesses said today.
Neighbours watched in horror as the teenager was chased by his attacker after a fight broke out inside a property in Hayes, west London, yesterday afternoon. The victim collapsed and the attacker is said to have sat beside him and repeatedly stabbed him in the back as children looked on. Father-of-two Gurdeep Chaggar, 47, said he ran out of his home to try and save the youngster’s life after his daughters, aged 11 and 12, told him what happened. He said: ‘My daughters went out to get ice creams. They came back and ran up the stairs saying, “There’s a mixed race guy stabbing a white guy – seriously dad”.’
See if you can find the bbC version. oh its there. just bloody hard to find. However much more important to the bBC is this story:
Man denies ripping veil off Muslim woman

So regards the bBCs coverage of Muslim unholy man Anjem Choudary. Here is how the bBC reports the story:
Radical cleric Anjem Choudary guilty of inviting IS support
Radical UK cleric Anjem Choudary has been convicted of inviting others to support the so-called Islamic State group, it can now be reported. Choudary, 49, drummed up support for the militant group in a series of talks posted on YouTube, the Old Bailey heard.
Here is how the leftwing Guardian report the same story:
Anjem Choudary convicted of supporting Islamic State
Anjem Choudary, one of the most notorious hate preachers living in Britain, is facing jail after being found guilty of supporting Islamic State. Having avoided arrest for years despite his apparent sympathy for extremism and links to some of Britain’s most notorious terrorists, Choudary was convicted at the Old Bailey after jurors heard he had sworn an oath of allegiance to Isis.
The bBC, the apologists for Islamic terrorism no matter what the crime.

Seen as we’re talking The Groaniad and Choudary, look at these damning indictments (taken from a different Groan piece) on the UK’s staggering tolerance to his hate over the years:
‘Revealed: how Anjem Choudary inspired at least 100 British jihadis ‘
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/aug/16/revealed-how-anjem-choudary-inspired-at-least-100-british-jihadis
“Choudary’s influence in Europe was such that the Dutch intelligence agency AIVD assessed him to be a key influence in the spread of the jihadi movement in the Netherlands. A spokesperson for AIVD said it stood by its assessment of Choudary’s central role in the UK first, and then Europe, set out in a 2014 document: “Since the 1980s the UK has harboured an active Islamist movement propagating an anti-democratic, intolerant and sometimes explicitly violent ideology.
“The spokesperson for Dutch intelligence added that the fact Choudary operated publicly and could “step out of the shadows and into light” was an inspiration for others to do the same.”
And:
“Choudary’s ability to operate in plain sight, seemingly without legal sanction, raises many questions. Sources in Britain’s Muslim community say Choudary was reported to the police, with some in the UK’s Islamic communities left baffled about how he remained untouched for so long.”
Finally:
“Many Muslims have long been puzzled why this man was regularly approached by the media to give outrageous statements that inflamed Islamophobia.”
The fact that even a left wing rag reports this woeful damnation of the UK’s appeasement of fundamentalist Islam shows that the govt, the police and the media have all been complicit in allowing this maniac to recruit fellow maniacs, unhindered, for well over a decade. Wish I was shocked.

A man has been attacked by a dog in West Yorkshire, leaving him with serious injuries. He has now died.
The Police appear to be the scapegoats for releasing the dog back to the owner and yet there is a very real problem which the BBC has either missed or does not wish to comment on.
In nearly every single one of these dog attacks, there is a common factor – social housing. Almost exclusively the dangerous dogs which attack & injure or kill are owned by people in social housing.
Not every social housing tenant which is a dog owner is irresponsible or uncaring, but in my opinion the number of lives lost, and people maimed far outweigh the rights of tenants to own a fog of their choice.
I am not suggesting a wholesale ban on all dogs, just certain breeds, and dogs over a certain size.
The most sickening thing I think I’ve ever heard came as a reply to these observations, with an SWP type who said a few dead or maimed children were a price worth paying in the class war.

Here’s a little snippet from the Yorkshire post which the bBC hasn’t bothered reporting:
“While someone else was ringing for the police, the dog latched onto the guy’s head and had him in a vice. The dog then started ragging his head from side to side. “The victim was shouting and wailing, ‘help me’, in a blood-curdling type of splattering noise – it was awful. “The police then turned up but said they wouldn’t use their tasers on the dog to stop it because they thought they would kill it. “Someone else got out a hosepipe and used that at the dog – but it still wouldn’t let go and kept on dragging the man closer to its kennel.

The bBC, and its Pro Paki stance when it comes to terrorism.
Why you should care about violence in Kashmir
A few facts the the CS at the bBC conveniently left out of the above Pro Islamic terrorism article.
1) In 1947, undecided to go with India or Pakistan, Pakistan invaded Kashmir in which to take the area by force.
2) After the 1971 war which saw West Pakistan carry out genocide in East Pakistan (3 million murdered) for the crime of wanting to leave the Union. India defeated the Pak army in a week, in an attempt to save Paki face, they allowed Pakistan to keep the half of Kashmir they stole by force.
3) Since then, the Paki s have done everything they can in which to try and steal the rest of Kashmir.
4) The thing is Kashmir is but one valley in the region , a valley which is now 98% Islamic, this is after the Muslims ethically cleansed, the valley of the original inhabitants the Kashmir Pandits. over 200,000 have been forced to leave due to Islamic violence
5) The other 2 valleys in the region are not Islamic, but rather hindu and guess what, they want nothing to do with Pakistan.
6) During this last Ramadan, Pakistan sent in thousands of terrorists in which to up the ante.
7) the biggest export from the Paki occupied half of Kashmir. its people to the Uk, where they have got a good name for themselves as: child rapists, murderers, drug dealers and moaning wakers.
To the CS at the bBC, Kashmir , just like Israel must be handed over to the followers of a pedophillic warlord. That is why their headline deems it important why we should care. Actually we should care, because it shows just how ugly, greedy and dangerous Muslims are when they become the majority.
If any donut eating coppers of the new hate squad want to chase me down. I’m a brown skinned, ex muslim with no foreskin who has a funny first name, and I will take you to the f-ing cleaners if you dare knock on my door. Using the same rules that the peaceful followers of Islam use, in which to get away with ….Murder.

Oh and the real reason why the Pakis want Kashmir?

I think Anjem Chaudrey was fantastic ! A true Muslim who tells the truth about the religion of Islam, you should listen to his debates with Robert Spencer and listen to how much they both agree on.
The ones who are much more dangerous are the ones who hold Chaudreys views, but hide them behind a veil of respectability, saying the things the BBC wants to hear, while believing none of it.
Chaudrey was not a ‘hate preacher’ he was a Muslim who told it as it is. His comment that there’s no such thing as moderate Muslims has been a great help to those of us fighting the lies of the Metropolitan elite who find it difficult to fight on two fronts.

I completely agree. Anjem is just telling the truth, and the left do not possess the ability to listen. The left believe all social, cultural, psychology, and moral debates are sown up…. They believe they own each narrative. How the bBC brainwashes everybody on how great Islam is:
Why is calligraphy so important to Islam?
Really bBC, I keep on getting told that the main reason why Muslim can’t find work in the West is due to the fact they are illiterate. In fact the Economist reported this around 14 years ago:
in the 1,000 years since the reign of the Caliph Mamoun,…..the Arabs have translated as many books as Spain translates in one year.
Then there is the wonderful books written by hand in the west well before Islam even came out of the cave:
How about the Japanese art of Shodo, where it has become a philosophy all on its own . Chinese,Korean, Indian and Latin calligraphy all pre-date Islam by hundreds of years. Yet according to the bbC it is Islam that gave the world calligraphy:
A vast array of styles developed as Islam spread across the globe, often reflecting the regional characteristics of societies where the religion took root. For the first three centuries of Islam, a style called Kufic, based on strict geometric principles, with around 20 different iterations spread from the Atlantic to Central Asia. This angular style later gave way to the cursive Arabic scripts that remain dominant to this day. As the practice of Islamic calligraphy expanded even further afield, to China, Spain, India, Southeast Asia and West Africa, regional scripts emerged, less influenced by classical styles and formal geometric codifications.
The bBC, the propaganda arm of intolerant and backward Islam.
The reason calligraphy is so important to Islam is that representations of the human form are forbidden in Sharia.
The other reason is that Arabic is seen as a superior form of language and is an expression of the supremacism of the Arabian language and culture.
That BBC page is simple dawa…..i.e. Islamic evangelisation. Absolutely ridiculous and completely against any pretence of neutrality.

A bit earlier Tothepoint writes thus;
“‘Far-rightaphobia’: A complete and ungrounded irrational fear of the Far right, yet this has never materialised, nor has any event given a reason for anyone to believe they are a threat. Now that is a genuine irrational fear as it doesnt exist”
This is a tedious thing that I hear more & more now. What or where now is the Far-Right as identified by those on the left?
A peaceful demonstration against Islam altering our European culture, or massive immigration shattering our society is not the politics of the Far Right. True there are unpleasant thugs in Germany (but more in Russia) who identify with Nazi Germany, but these are brainless oafs & certainly not germinal of a new fascist movement across Europe.
No the Far Right hardly exists, it is the Left that is the danger, & it is looking more like fascist intolerance & nastiness the more time goes by.
The Far Right doesn’t exist beyond a few crazy oddballs. We must be fearful of the Left!

Phil – All this “resurgence of the far right” and the “far right backlash” are all a load of left wing cobblers . We know it and they know it.
You are right when you say that in this country the right are pretty insignificant. How the left would have loved it if Britain First had been involved in serious violence but unfortunately this was never the case. All they did was raise legitimate concerns about what was happening to this country and had the balls to confront those face to face who hate our culture so much.
As the case against them appears so very weak, they have had to ban them on the back of a few mickey mouse accusations.
Amazing that those on the left (especially the BBC) who are so concerned about equality, justice and humanity have never been quite so concerned about real violence and sexual violence in this country committed by many of those so closely associated with the “Religion of Peace”
Whilst Britain First and similar groups are certainly not “shrinking violets” I would hazard a guess that far more violence has been committed Europe wide by adherents of those who follow “the religion that Aunty dare not name” Though I am sure our trolling friends would disagree.
I guess Britain first are primarily the “wrong colour” and are now getting their just deserts crooked government style. Amber Rudd style.
This whole case is purely a vehicle used by the left to control the narrative and control the opposition. It is the thin end of a very long wedge. Interesting that it all coincides with Police twatter squads etc – Maybe the delightful Amber is trying to send us all a message.
The next question is – who is next and where will the line be drawn – I reckon this will be left deliberately vague, what better way to encourage self censorship – unless of course you are one of Aunties favourites then you can pretty much get away with murder!
If she really likes you, she may even lend you her cloak of invisibility!

As the situation in Europe deteriorates it looks as if the elite is increasing efforts to silence those who are in effect the real opposition to the failed policies of multiculturalism. Bought to a head by Merkel’s madness.
The BBC is naturally in the forefront of this doomed policy. Under the May government expect the increasing criminalisation of dissent dressed up as anti hate speech legislation. They really have little choice but to turn on their own people rather than admit a situation spiraling out of control and their responsibility in that matter.
Historically European elites have often turned on their own people but it is very rare here . No longer I fear. Also it will make her task of reneging on Brexit that much easier. It looks as if this will be her way of doing it.
It is important that we are all wary. Remember the truth is no defence under the new legislation and the new police powers now being assumed by the Met. .We have no 2nd amendment here.
This blog is under threat as are all internet blogs and commentators that do not fit the narrative.

Is this rush to compete for GB because the glory is that much greater as is the publicity, therefore the rewards will be better.? I find it galling that we have excellent sportsmen/women who have trained and paid their dues in this country, and there are those who want the glory of wrapping themselves in the Union Jack who’ve barely set foot on these shores, train abroad, and then expect us to cheer them over the winning line.

Not just biased but the BBC is so predictable.
On that bore of the early evening, Front Row, this time even more tedious coming from the Edinburgh Festival, they asked this evening if comedy could heal our ‘divided society post Brexit’. All of us here would accurately predict where this was going. And yes, the Beeb didn’t disappoint. Two lefty Remainers were chosen to duscuss this, Rory Bremner one of them, some woman who advised Harman, Brown, & Milliband, a comedian as well apparently. Their anti Brexit, anti conservative remarks were spot-on BBC bias!

The BBC/left would like to claim complete dominance over what it likes to call ‘the arts’. So for all practical purposes they can be disregarded and ignored. The Edinburgh festival might as well be held in Karl Marx Stadt circa 1955 for all the interest it has for most of us now.

The bBC and its so called defence experts:
Syrian conflict: Russian bombers use Iran base for air strikes
Russia’s defence ministry says it has used a base in western Iran to carry out air strikes in Syria. Tupolev-22M3 long-range bombers and Sukhoi-34 strike fighters took off from Hamedan on Tuesday, a statement said.
Analysis – Jonathan Marcus, defence and diplomatic correspondent, BBC News
These planes – originally designed as a long-range strategic bomber – have already been engaged in the Syrian air campaign but operating from bases in southern Russia. Placing them in Iran dramatically reduces the duration of their missions.
While partially correct,If this was all about reducing time in the air, you’d think the Russians would simply return to Syria and fly from there.
So if it isn’t that what else could it be? Could it be this little fact?
Tu-22M3s flying from Mozdok could only carry 5-8 tons of bombs, now flying from Hamedan they can carry 22 tons
Now all that ammo if loaded on in Syria has to get there, a bit of a journey by sea, but if flying out Iran, the Russians can use the Caspian sea and then the Iranian road and rail system to feed their hunger for bombs. Gee and I don’t even earn a pittance of what the so called bBC experts earn .

Also on Tuesday, Human Rights Watch alleged that Russian and Syrian government aircraft had been using incendiary weapons in civilian areas in violation of international law – something Moscow has denied.
A review of photographs and videos indicated there were at least 18 incendiary weapon attacks on rebel-held areas in Aleppo and Idlib between 5 June and 10 August, the US-based group said. Witnesses and emergency workers reported at least 12 civilians wounded in five of the attacks.

This a common misconception, but BLiar only removed the Death Penalty from it so he could sign the rotten ECtHR.
The original 1351 remains on the statute book, but as I’m sure most will understand, such a law would be extremely archaic.
In terms of recent activity wikipedia has this:
“On 8 August 2005, it was reported that the UK Government was considering bringing prosecutions for treason against a number of British Islamic clerics who have publicly spoken positively about acts of terrorism against civilians in Britain, or attacks on British soldiers abroad, including the 7 July London bombings and numerous attacks on troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.[59] Following this threat one foreign cleric who the British government had failed to deport fled to Lebanon, only to request to be rescued by the British military during the 2006 Israeli-Lebanon War. However, later that year prosecutors indicted Abu Hamza al-Masri for inciting murder (he was convicted in February 2006), and it now seems unlikely that anyone will be charged with treason in the foreseeable future”
Although why this is, it does not go on to say.

The liberal/left has always had a problem with the concept of treason, because historically it has often been used by reactionary governments to oppose radical change; hence it is seen as a sort of ‘anti-progressive’ idea. What I find interesting is the way that the apparatus of state oppression which was once used to suppress treason, is now used to suppress ‘racism’ and ‘hate speech’ in a way that even the Stuarts would have found impressive.

And so do I . The irony of the muslim-loving BBC being criticised by muslims is delicious. Of course, the evil BBC fully supported the IRA and support the hate preachers and muslim terrorists. The BBC must be destroyed somehow . It is a cancer in this country.

It was announced last Friday that Kadiza Sultana (17) was presumed dead in Syria, due to a bomb raid by Russian jets. You may recall she was one of the three Bethnal Green schoolgirls who headed out east desperate to become a Jihadi bride. Her death and other topics were part of the conversation on the BBC Sunday Morning Live show, which was presented by Naga Munchetty.
Guests for this particular conversation were Ajmal Masroor (Bangladeshi born and described as an Imam and commentator), most readers may recognise him from regular appearances on Dame Nicky Campbell’s The Big Question programme. A rather sheepish looking Owen Jones (Columnist, though not quite the fifth variety perhaps), Nick Ferrari (Radio Presenter) Kiran Bali (MBE, Interfaith leader who has founded and chaired several faith groups) and, not in the studio but on a live link, Hifsa Iqbal (MBE, West Midlands Prevent leader).
Naga got the show rolling by asking in light of Sultana’s death: “Should we help young people, who like her, want to come back to the UK?” Masroor dogmatic as ever replied first: “She was radicalised by the internet. Her family isn’t that religious they’re just ordinary people.”
Ferrari: “No.”
Jones: “Whether you have sympathy or not, it’s irrelevant. Isn’t it useful to bring those girls home, in order to learn from their examples, from their situation to prevent other people from going down the same path and also get intelligence about what’s going on on the ground.”
Bali: “Bring them back, get intelligence.” (This was virtually her whole contribution)
Ferrari: “What intelligence? What intelligence do you think you’re going to get?”
At this point Munchetty repeated the “bring them home” idea and added that they “could provide us with intelligence” (I’m not sure if by the “we” she was referring to the BBC).
Munchetty then introduced Iqbal, who opened with: “Can i just say that the death of Kadiza is an absolute tragedy and it’s not just a tragedy for her family, this is a tragedy for all of us, hum, she could have been anybodies daughter, sister, niece, hum, and the reality is that, hum, what has happened to her out there, i certainly hope it stands as an example and prevents other people from making the same mistake.”
Iqbal then went on at length, taking the majority of the time allocated for this particular subject. During this time she said that Sultana had been groomed, equating it with child sexual exploitation. She also suggested the reason she wanted back was because she had realised it was not what she’d gone out there for. The only thing stopping her from returning was that she had witnessed someone beaten to death in the street.
Interestingly she added: “”We do know of people that have gone out to Syria and come back who have re-integrated (her words) into society using sort of the multi-agency partnerships, channel process and obviously this does need to be done on a case by case basis.
“If we know that individuals have been in illegal activity with some of the murderous activity that is going on out there, it is a completely different issue. For these young girls that have gone out there, y’know, who are being brainwashed into believing something, who want to come back, there is nothing stopping them.
“For me there is a wider question in that what should we be doing to stop them going out there in the first place.”
She went on to explain that there are currently 130 civic society projects running which has seen them interact with over 25,000 (yes) individuals and she further stated that these projects are very effective as they have helped stop 150 people going out to Syria. She added: “We need to have grass roots projects to tackle these misconceptions put out about Islam and ideology that is influencing these young people to take this drastic step.”
With the subject matter almost over Jones made his feelings about Prevent known by saying: “Muslims felt that they were agents of the state.” This triggered the overbearing Masroor, who said: “Islamophobia should be eradicated from our society.” (without a hint of irony). Ferrari had spent most of the time with his head shaking from side to side in his hands and Bali just looked on bemused. In answer to Jones, Iqbal ended the debate with this retort: “I wouldn’t work within Prevent if i felt it was targeting Muslims.”
It was never quite explained how they intended to “bring home” these misunderstood pillars of society. Maybe they’re expecting our Special Forces to risk their lives and bring them home to dear old Blighty?

I have a reply from the BBC about my complaint (a completely out of context comment from John Humphreys on the Today programme) :
Thank you for contacting us again regarding Radio 4’s ‘Today’ broadcast on 2 August.
We understand you feel John Humphrys made a tenuous link between illegal immigrant employees and Brexit.
We’re sorry you were unhappy with our previous response and we understand why. As we didn’t address the points you raised, we ask that you treat this as your first response in the complaints process.
Having reviewed the programme, we believe our overall report on the arrests at the Byron burger chain was suitably observed. John outlined the origins of the case and interviewed the founder and chairman of the Peyton & Byrne restaurant and café group about the burger chain’s conduct. When closing the item John made a brief reference to Brexit but maintained focus on the Byron story.
Please be assured, we strive to present accurate and relevant information throughout our news service. Presenters closely follow these guidelines while providing distinctive descriptions. They often deliver items under pressure and time restrictions, particularly in a live ‘rolling’ news environment. Words are carefully selected in any condition, however we appreciate you felt this link was inappropriate.
All complaints are sent to senior management and programme makers every morning. We included your points in this overnight report. These reports are among the most widely read sources of feedback in the BBC and ensures that your complaint has been seen by the right people quickly. This helps inform their decisions about current and future programmes.
Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.
RIght then – next stage of escalation!

“… however we appreciate you felt this link was inappropriate.”
Erm… struggling here. In what possible world could it have been appropriate, FFS?!?
Honestly.
And all their “we appreciate you feel” hollow empathy attempt garbage only succeeds in being patronising.
Makes my blood boil!

Is the BBC asking why there has been no movement on Brexit?
They are our impartial National Broadcaster.

Not sure where the BBC are with this, but we did finally get a reply to our petition to invoke article 50 immediately.
Even though we got over 100,000 signatures we didn’t get a debate in parliament.
What a shock.
The petition and its response were not covered by the BBC.
What another shock.
HMG’s weasel words in response were:
The British people have voted to leave the EU and their will must be respected and delivered. The process for leaving the EU and determining our future relationship will be a complex one, so we need to take time to think through our objectives and approach. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for Britain and the future UK-EU relationship. As part of this, the government will of course work closely with the devolved administrations to ensure we get the best deal for the UK as a whole. We should not trigger Article 50 until we have a UK approach and objectives, so Article 50 should not be invoked before the end of this year.

“The burqini is not some new line of swimwear, it is the beach version of the burqa and it has the same logic: hide women’s bodies in order to control them better,” French Minister for Women’s Rights Laurence Rossignol told French Le Parisien newspaper.
https://www.rt.com/news/356176-france-burqini-defend-ban/
Now why isn’t this on the BBC? After all, it’s the Minister for Women’s Rights of our nearest continental neighbour, a country which is a founder member of that customs union mafia which the BBC loves.
Oh yes, it contradicts their narrative. Silly me.
And there was me thinking they were supposed to be impartial and balanced and all.

As someone who has noticed the BBC is basically the public sector broadcaster – only interested in the public sector and its employees – I was interested to see this year’s Bake Off contestants and the ratio of public sector to private sector participants.
Of course, we have to include the “diversity” segment of society in with the public sector, because if you represent ethnic diversity you can trump the fact you work in the private sector when it comes to the BBC (and Channel 4). So it’s public sector and diversity (PSD) versus private sector (PS).
Candice – PE teacher = PSD 1-0 PS
Tom – Royal Society of Arts = PSD 2-0 PS
Jane – Garden designer = PSD 2-1 PS
Selasi – “Client service associate” (?) = PSD 3-1 PS (Selasi comes under diversity because he’s from Ghana, as the BBC are very keen to point out – as if it makes any difference!)
Val – Former primary school head teacher = PSD 4-1 PS
Michael – Studying politics and economics = PSD 5-1 PS
Benjamina – Teaching assistant = PSD 6-1 PS
Lee – “Works” as a pastor = PSD 7-1 PS
Rav – Works supporting students at City University in London = PSD 8-1 PS
Kate – Nurse = PSD 9-1 PS
Andrew – Aerospace engineer = PSD 9-2 PS
Louise – Hairdresser = PSD 9-3 PS
Funny how the BBC leaves private sector workers Andrew and Louise last on the list on the BBC website. And even though Jane is a “garden designer”, I’m wondering what that actually means, but I placed her in the private sector category. If she designs gardens for the local council, then the score would be 10-2. She could just design her own garden and live off her pension – 10-2 again. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt.
So, out of the 12 contestants, only 3 actually generate wealth in the form of net tax receipts to the treasury.

I have just seen a lovely picture of Jason Kenny kissing his fiance Laura Trott. And the best of it was – it was on the bbc.con website ! A rare foray into heterosexuality and no LGBT, muslims, burkinis or refugees mentioned. I think I will print out a copy and have it framed.
