Mmmm, is it worth punting a few pounds, or even Euros, on the FN for the French presidency next year.
Could the French, who continually bankroll a gluttonous state apparatus through their taxes, actually wake up and realise there really is an alternative?

The BBC keep losing. Time to wrap them up.
Watching the BBC line up headed by Brillo and the woman of colour managed to parade the lefty line that Trump was a howwid waaycist.
The left have not realised that alternative to argument has died, it has become meaningless.
    ================
    On a separate note

Our media might be advised to distance itself from lefty charges that the pro Brexit march coinciding with the Supreme Court’s deliberations is not a racist Nazi parade. There is a movement and this movement will blow away the Trots, Labour, Anarchists, and the Appeaser’s Government. .

It looks like curtains for the Paris agreement. Harrabin will wet his knickers. So will Geldoff, Bono and Emma Thompson.

And if the US becomes an energy independent nation then Arab oil profits will be hit which means they won’t be able to buy our politicians.

Isn’t it time to drain the swamp at the BBC now? You were wrong on Brexit and you’re wrong on Trump! And now they’ll spend the next few months slinging mud at him! You’re a bunch of Liberal, elitist, smug, biased cronies and its time for you to go! Let’s have a vote to get rid of elites that control the establishment media!

said Michael Jones on 5Live Facebook

Black people voted in a black president, so wonderful and inspiring. White people vote in a white president, racist old people. This is why you lose.

0840 this morning, ‘Today’ Radio 4 – Sarah Montague interviewing two individuals speculating on how the Donald Trump Presidency will affect the World. She interrupted that particular debate to tell the listener that it had just been announced that President Putin had congratulated, quote, “…….Trump (micro second then), Donald Trump (another micro second then) President Donald Trump…..”. Just goes to show that the BBC Editors ‘Cattle Prod’ is still working but I guess it will be true for a while that utterly disrespectful ‘old habits die hard’.

It was only two or so weeks ago that Montague told the R4 Today listener that it was “Hilary Clinton” that WILL BE the new President. In effect, the contest was all over, in the BBC’s view, apart from the small matter of the voters having their say. Such breathtaking arrogance and a very misplaced opinion of the BBC’s, “Power” to persuade or, dissuade in this instance.

How the BBC must be reeling: they groomed, manipulated the listener/viewer and backed two horses faithfully within the the last six months applying unbelievable bias in regard to supporting, ‘Remain’ and ‘Hilary’ and both have miserably lost. If any event completely shatters the illusion that the BBC (and particularly the R4 Today programme) has any influence or “Power” (as Montague called it yesterday in relation to (appropriately) snails) this is it. Against ALL the BBC’s predictions of “Trumps” failure, he’s won. A magical moment yet no apparent contrition. I sincerely hope that all watchers and listeners around the World that may have hitherto subscribed to the BBC’s mantra that it is, “The World’s Most Trusted Broadcaster” now see it for what it is: a haggard broken broadcaster whose ‘news’ cannot be trusted to be accurate and unbiased.

You know the Christmas shows on the BBC where newsreaders are made to look like twats and do
song and dance routines? Well I think this year we should see Clive Myrie with a backing girl group of four political, economic, home affairs, weather forecaster, presenters from anywhere else in the World other than the Southern England performing a cover version of Rae Sremmurd’s rap ” Up like Trump.” I know what you are going to say ” Come off it Foscari!!
We see it every night on the Beeb. Why wait till Christmas?”

Katty Kay, Jon Sopel, Laura Bicker, James Naughtie and all
the other BBC left liberal media hacks who have spent 18 months denigrating Trump and sneeringly rubbishing his supporters should be chucked out and replaced with some professional unbiased reporters .
We pay their salaries, like it or not , and we are entitled to unbiased, accurate coverage , not left wing propaganda.
Will any of this happen? No chance . Just like Brexit, these BBC propagandists will now move to the next stage , predicting doom and gloom on every front. World economic collapse and Putin appeasement will be
the first lies they peddle .

EnglandExpects, I think you may be right. ‘Trump the war monger’ seems to be a common theme. What lefties generally don’t realise (tell one of them this and look how surprised they will be) is that Republicans don’t usually start US involvement in wars, Democrats do, because Republicans tend to be isolationist rather than internationalist. US entry into two world wars, Korea and Vietnam all took place under Democrat rule.

I was watching CBC (Canada) online throughout, and they were the BBC with a funny accent.

When Trump took Florida, the lead presenter looked like a steer which had been hit by a captive bolt. As he dropped to the floor (or into a chair), an American black lesbian on the panel took over.

“Today we voted to turn the clock back,” was one of her more printable comments. “This is what rock-bottom looks like. Are we back to pitchforks? Are we back to lynching mobs? Trump didn’t need to run a campaign. The media ran a campaign for him. What does the world look like when everyone’s in it for themselves? He has no intellectual curiosity. He doesn’t want to learn anything. He has never been interested, in this campaign, to learn anything. He is a muppet. He doesn’t care about anything, he just talks.”

The presenter regained consciousness: “I don’t think this is a good day for American democracy. We know his attitude towards vulnerable people. His attitude is rabid. It’s impossible to be sufficiently apprehensive about what Trump might do.”

All hugely gratifying to listen to.

For almost the first time since 24 June I turned on Today on Radio 4 this morning at around 7:30. Once again I thought the Queen had died; then confirmation of The Donald’s victory was dragged out of the mouth of a very depressed news announcer. I didn’t leave the radio on much longer although it seemed to me that Trump’s acceptance speech was gracious and, thank God, brief. The avalanche of “where did we go wrong?” started/re-commenced shortly thereafter with an interview with the US ambassador (a political appointee – as is usual in the US set-up – of Obama) admittedly post an interview with a Trump ally.
