The BBC milked this story for all it has been worth as part of its nauseating “The Government doesn’t know what to do about Brexit”…..and then this arrived later in the day
Downing Street has “wholeheartedly” rejected comments in a memorandum leaked to the press describing cabinet “divisions” over Brexit.
The document, compiled by consultancy firm Deloitte and obtained by the Times newspaper, says Whitehall is working on 500 Brexit-related projects and could need 30,000 extra staff. But the prime minister’s spokeswoman said the work had been “unsolicited”. And Deloitte said there had been no “access” to Number 10 for the report. No “input from any other government departments” had been received, the company added.
And then I should remind you of this...
David Sproul, Deloitte’s UK chief executive, is in favour of the UK remaining part of the European Union, while the rest of the Big Four keep their cards close to their chest
Deloitte – one more embittered Remain organisation being used by the BBC in pursuance of its Remain agenda.
Will they EVER stop weeping?
Actually, in EU terms we probably would need 30,000 people working on this. Outside the EU, around 1500 will be more than enough. This is an obvious part of the reason we want out.
Last time I was over at the Commission, it was crawling with Irish, Spanish and Italians dressed in suits doing nothing except going from meeting to pointless and needless meeting where the only outcome was the date of the next meeting. Just like Nick Clegg (complaining on C4 News about Brexit creating bureaucracy!) did while he was there as a stagiere – his only job by the way.

You obviously do not fit the BBC “typical” Brexit voter profile!

According to Guido the bBC was told at 7.00am that their headline was wrong. Now Sky news is nearly as bad as the bBC when it comes to the EU.

I almost (not really) have a sneaky admiration for the stealth edit of ‘Utter BBC Bollocks’ to ‘Innocent Party Defends Itself Against Utter BBC Bollocks’.
Unique, and vital, in so many ways. Plus, job done.

The Bitter Clingers are everywhere. Sooner or later Mrs May is going to do something about them, particularly in the bbc, unless she actually supports what they are doing to try to undermine the process of Leaving the EU.

Hopefully President Trump will focus her mind .

Dave – Hopefully Trump should focus her. However Theresa still seems to be sitting on the wall and showing little drive to actually make this happen. More interested in slapping Farage down than actually using somebody who actually knows Trump, to help advance our case with the USA.
She probably prefers “big ears” to that vulgar upstart trump – even though he never liked us.
The other day she was talking about making globalization work for all. I must say I thought Brexit was about rolling back globalisation and retaining control of our own affairs. Certainly it is the antithesis of brexit.
I am afraid she is not to be trusted – Despite her protestations she belongs to that old fashioned wishy washy lib/tory class which believes moderation in everything – even when your country is being sold under her feet.
Why is Carney still head of the Bank of England?
Why does May tolerate the lies and anti brexit propaganda of the BBC?
And why is her cabinet still full of remain supporters.?
I am afraid this is still all about tory party politics and very little about undertaking the will of the people.
I suspect she is playing for time hoping that the longer this goes on the more we will get bored with the whole subject and the more remain will be able to fudge the whole issue.
As I said last night if Trump is the real deal she could be in for a shock. As I do think that despite Obamas syrupy words to Merkel I think Trump trusts us far more than any of the other european countries

We shouldn’t get our hopes up about Trump. I’m suspecting he will leave us EU Leavers disappointed.

My clock radio switched on at 6:00 am as usual, and from the off Radio 4 were pumping this out as the main story of the day. I was suspicious from the start.
As I ate my breakfast I briefly watched BBC Breakfast and they were milking it too.
As I sat in my office with Radio 2, even Moira Stewart was reading it out as the main story at 8:00 and 9:00, but then after a short meeting I noticed that it had gone. And then there it was on Guido.
If anybody was in any doubt about the BBC’s intrinsic bias against Brexit, which the majority of their licence payers voted for, then this is it in all its transparent glory. The way the BBC latched onto this with gleeful abandonment is despicable.

Headline wrong? Incorrect information? Insufficient research?
Doesn’t matter: the headline is all, and has been read by millions – job done, next anti-brexit story please!

Made me laugh how they reported this and then, without a hint of irony, moved on to the next story – google and twitbook reporting false news stories. Errr…

Yesterday morning on the Today Programme (at 7:22) Justin Webb was getting quite upset about the dangers of ‘fake news’ on social media, he seemed to suggest that it was blame for Trump’s election win and should be eradicated.
Then today on PM (at 17:05) there was long (14 mins) detailed debate about ‘fake news’, and it was even incorporated as the main headline. Again it was suggested that Trump’s election win could be because of ‘fake news’.
Isn’t it ironic that just as the BBC decide to rail against ‘fake news’ they are responsible for some ‘fake news’ of their own. Not forgetting the ‘terrorist house’ fake news story, and I’m sure we can think of plenty more in recent weeks.
So clearly the BBC aren’t really concerned about ‘fake news’ at all, only that outside their control.
Curious isn’t it? There is certainly something Machiavellian going on here.

Yes, ‘fake news’ is the latest plot from the cultural Marxists in the MSM to delegitimise any news that doesn’t fit their agenda. I posted a classic example on the ‘Quality’ thread about the disgraceful behaviour of a scientific journal suppressing an inconvenient report into ‘global warming’ because they thought the conclusions were, not wrong, but ‘unhelpful’.
We have seen the BBC do this time and time again, perhaps worst of all when it connived to conceal the truth about Muslim grooming gangs at work in the North of England.
‘Fake news’ would be a good name for the BBC itself these days.

Fake News. Hmmm. As usual the Left are projecting their own tactics on their enemies. Just like they make personal attacks and lies against everyone else and immediately shout foul. Likewise the fiddling of voting in elections, media bias etc. I believe it was the Left that taught the Palestinians this same tactic; fire rockets into Israel and claim it was Israel that started it when Israel attempt to take out the launchers in response.

As I once read from a correspondent on this website.
If the news is not to the bBBC’s liking……….they just make some up that is!
Trebles all round.

Don’t forget to purchase your “Is it true? Or did you hear it on the BBC” stickers / badges.
It would seem to fit this story perfectly.
P.S. I have no financial interest in the company that offers them, just an antipathy towards the BBC.
P.P.S. Don’t forget to keep voting for Ed Balls on Strictly. If he managed to win it, it would leave an awful lot of viewers a tad upset with the BBC, which would be nice

Marie Antoinette Towers is the real name of New Broadcasting House
Look at some of those comments on the BBC Fake Brexit Report article
I can only think the BBC workers are the ones that do all the downvoting
But the one crazy one calling for a second referendum got 390 downvotes

OK The Guido Story
Ha I note this morning around 10:30 I mentioned the BBC habit iof stealth-editing stories unaware that at 10.01am Guido had put a graphic of today’s stealth edit.
– The notable thing is the top comment

Don’t pay the licence fee telly tax . You can do it legally by not watching live broadcasts .

Laura K still has a dainty digit on the real story…
Like the latest version of BBC ‘truthiness’ at the end there.

I rang The Times the other day to say that I did not wish to renew my subscription explaining that the appalling bias over Brexit was the first reason, and that the quality of the paper had deteriorated immensely since June. Had quite an argument with the chap who wouldn’t accept any bias. Just like the BBC.

I notice the bBBC just failed to mention the small detail that Deloitte are a multi-national conglomerate with worldwide tentacles and branches throughout the EU. That being the case it is fairly obvious that it is in their own interests to do their best to undermine Brexit and to push the agenda of the single world, free movement, abolish national borders, operate anywhere fantasy, self-interest wonderland of the rampant Globalists.

Only the BBC could have got remoaner Ken Clarke to comment as a conservative today concerning the said news that there is no Brexit plan!
