Is it not amazing how the BBC’s top story on a supposed “Leaked Report” has now disappeared from the front page as though it never happened?
The next time the BBC tell us that they have “watertight oversight” and “treble check their sources” we will be able to refer them to yet another dodgy dossier.
Added to the fact the devious, Stalinist bast@rds have been relentlessly propagating against the idea of free press (fake news = everything the Islamic Al Beeb doesnt want you to know) because its the only way freedom and democracy loving people can get news rather than the Anti-British, anti-brexit, anti white, bigoted, division stolking bullshit that’s pumped out daily from Al Shabeeb!….it’s another example of “do as I say, not as I do”
The leaked report and Katy Kay’s claim that owing to buyers remorse enough Leavers would now vote Remain to overturn Brexit , are just two examples so far this week of the BBC deliberately spreading fake news to undermine Brexit. We all know that a week , scarcely a day, goes by when the BBC has not been deliberately spreading fake news to undermine Brexit. We also all know that the BBC runs fake news campaigns on a wide range of Liberal Left causes e.g. Islamophobia , multiculturalism, refugees etc etc.
Yet this totally untrustworthy purveyor of liberall left propaganda, I wouldn’t grace them with the phrase news provider, is running stories that Google and Facebook are going to clamp down on fake news. It is plain as a pike staff that this is an attempt by the liberal left to gain control and censor the internet. They want to be able to control the news on the internet just as they do on broadcast media , so that they can keep us in the dark about the truth and the only news we hear is that which they want us to hear.
Remember a month or two ago there was a campaign by prominent Remoaners to unfetter the BBC from any remaining vestige of its duty to be impartial because they didn’t like the way Vote Leave et al had managed to present the truth to the British people. Now after Trump’s triumph they are even more determined to allow the BBCto propagandise and to stop the truth from being told on the internet. They are even trying to neuter the likes of the Express and Mail via press regulation. As we expected the liberal elite are using the full range of their powers to stamp out the People’s Rebellion.
Amazingly , after yesterday’s fake news memo, the BBC and the Times are at it again, bigging up a memo written by people with no connections to the government , as though it was absolutely factual. Just another day of undermining Brexit. Surely the people are getting fed up with the tax payer funded BBC et al trying to overturn the democratic decision of the People. The time must be coming when people start to refuse to pay for theBBC despite the threat of prison.
EU President Juncker mocks and slanders the new US president with huge potential cost to relations with an indispensible ally and the BBC nods approvingly: http://bit.ly/2gebqR8
Some utter nobody makes a racial jibe about Michelle Obama and it’s Kristalnacht. Hmm
Tonights ‘PM’ report from known Leftie and anti Semite Barbara Plett Usher was from Ohio, where the poor snowflake sounded tremulous and was asking people in an anxious voice why they voted for Donald Trump.
It was almost as if she could neither believe nor accept that the Democrats have done exactly what they have done in the UK, abandoned their core voters for “better friends” who turned out to be not so nice after all.
An appalling biased piece, but then it’s not the first time Ushers left wing politics have brought accusations of BBC bias.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has said the BBC’s licence fee should be optional.
Responding to an online discussion about paywalls, the former footballer said viewers should be able to decide whether or not to hand over the £145 annual levy.
Lineker’s views were welcomed by Tory MP Andrew Bridgen, who has mounted a long campaign for the licence fee to be abolished.
He said: ‘Not for the first time I think Gary Lineker has put the ball in the back of the net. But I fear that his BBC masters may think that he has scored an own goal.
The campaign group, The TaxPayers’ Alliance, also backed the former striker.
Perhaps??!! Somebody involved with the Marketing Dept. at Walkers Crisps has had a WORD in his rather large lugholes and suggested his contract is up for review.
Personally, all Walkers products are now off the menu – not for health reasons.
I did E-mail Walkers that we were boycotting their goods, In fact we did buy Walkers crisps every week and now we don’t following Lineker words of “wisdom”
Big news on BBC London is that prostate cancer is twice as likely among Black people as White people.
Nigerians were quoted as especially prone, proved by incidences of statistically significant clusters around the world. – there is presumably a genetic component in the disease.
I wonder if the treatment costs were factored in to the ‘positive financial effects of immigration’ by the open door fanatics?
I think we all know the answer to that one.
With an incidence rate of about 29% it certainly puts the economics of those herds and hoards of Mediterranean boat people in an interesting light, given the ‘over-representation’ of young male ‘doctors and engineers’.
Today I see that the BBC are expanding the foreign services broadcasts so as to bring “truth etc.” to all these foreign people. But where is the money to come from? They have been claiming for weeks that they do not get enough money for their needs, Shurley shome’ting wrong there!
On BBC1 10:00 “news” tonight Kemal Ahmad, talking to the head of Google in Europe about Google’s investment here (despite Brexit, of course), couldn’t stop himself shouting “Keep those borders open!” at the close of the interview. Apparently, in the BBC’s Brexit bible, we’re on the verge of stopping all and any suitably qualified person coming to the UK to work. This is yet another symptom of the debilitating and possibly fatal emotional plague of lefty groupthink to which the BBC has succumbed. Only withdrawal from dependence on the TV tax might cure it, and even then . . . . .
Yes that was on the 6pm news as well. Ahmad had been trying to get the Google man to take the anti-Brexit and open borders bait he had been questioning him with. In the end Ahmad gave up trying and just came out with the statement “keep those borders open then” to which Mr Google mumbled yes. Outrageous BBC propaganda.
There seems almost a coordinated campaign to smear Mr Trump and his associates as anti Semites. I wonder what is behind it. The truth is that Israel has nothing to fear from President Trump .
Dave, the “anti-semite” line was the BBC smear on 15th. The smear on 16th is that Trump has given too much power to his Jewish son-in-law. It’s getting very hard to keep up – for them as well as us.
The attempted humiliation, sour grapes and contempt for middle age men – ‘who happen to be white – as I don’t think they would dare to attempt this otherwise’? And yes, the BBC is institutionally racist and sexist.
Thought Hammond and May dealt with it gracefully but did point out the lunacy and rudeness of the hosts.
Really hope the Grand Tour rubs the BBC’s PC face in the dust of the cool cars and excellent entertainment.
Who EXACTLY watches the One Show ?? as soon as I hear the signature tune I switch over. Its a great example of Sun reader tele – all pictures and no substance.
NOt since Robin Gibb popped up with his rather crap “Titanic” musical score in April 2012 or such.
Poor bugger died only a few days later.
Never watch it-but will check that My Mr Cohen who died last week had neither appeared(or was due) on this corpse creating vehicle of a show.
Pete Burns died the day he was due on Loose Women…coincidence, or do we dig deeper?
“NOt since Robin Gibb popped up with his rather crap “Titanic” musical score”
The “Titanic Requiem”? Nothing against the Bee Gees but this sort of thing makes me laugh. Pop/rock artists who decide they need a bit of gravitas and suddenly produce serious “classical” compositions out of nowhere? Composers spend lifetimes learning composition and orchestration. These clowns compose a few simple melodies, think of a few classical compositions they happen to like (bit of Beethoven’s 5th here, bit of Rite of Spring there), and pass the work on to an arranger (Cliff Masterson in this case) to do the heavy lifting. Then they call themselves “composers” and Classic FM, which I think does a good job overall, immediately goes along with the sham to avoid the dreaded accusation of elitism.
Paul McCartney is another offender – he used Carl Davis.
I have been quite surprised at the amount of attention the BBC have been giving the new show (Grand Tour), this week, I would have thought they would have kept clear, also surprised at those two doing interviews for the BBC.
So, after that nice little earner finding the BBC got it about right again, including an admitted bout of forgetfulness caught from the top floor interviewees, our Nick is again in oversight of his money font on behalf of hapless licence fee payers and any still labouring under the delusion the BBC is to be trusted?
Alicia Sinclair and Mr.Golightly’s recommendation for the biasedBBC blog Christmas card 2016. Anyone here that can do a nice photoshop with a few baubles and tinsels, to gild the lily as it were? Then I can download the image, print it out, carefully stick the photo to some white card, write some season’s greetings and send it to all my friends and family.
Sadly, that might be the end of exchanging Christmas cards forever with some of them. Edit – Most of them.
Whenever people like your brother are sneering at us it makes me imagine he’s saying this Peter Gabriel lyric :
“You’re not one of us, Not one of us
No you’re not one of us”
cos although say they care about diversity
..they want to bully everyone into conformity of thought.
They have hate and discrimination against us, the outgroup.
PG reminds us NOT to have groupthink :
“There’s safety in numbers, When you learn to divide
How can we be in, If there is no outside All shades of opinion, Feed an open mind
But your values are twisted, Let us help you unwind
You may look like we do, Talk like we do
But you know how it is
You’re not one of us, Not one of us
No you’re not one of us
etc. “
“Tis the season to be jolly” written in a cod Yuletide script?
Ho Ho Ho-and who`s ever looked jollier that THESE two scamps?

Is that not a great smile that The Don has?…not seen it before!
And as for Nigel-well, how well earned and well oiled is that?
Might take up a new career as his helicopter pilot, no reverse or parallel parking called for is there?
Just hovering over hospitals or Children In Need school fields pretending I`m in Saigon I`d say!
Lord Frump-Tarage was quite right.
“None of you are laughing now are you”?
But “look at his face, just LOOK at his face”
He`s Laughing for the whole UK now-and a vast number of our European friends under Junckers Yoke on the continent as well!
PS-like your rhyme Helena.
TEN BRUSSELS SPOUTERS I was thinking!
NINE DRUNKEN JUNCKERS…etc…
Oh, that’s brilliant! Thank you. Yes, I’ll send one to my lefty brother. But let’s not leave the BBC out. Is someone sending one to their (useless) complaints department?
Nott Fracking ?
“Nottinghamshire Council will be following Lancashire and Yorkshire in looking for shale gas after approving an application from iGas. Friends of the Earth had attempted to use an arcane covenant set up in the 1960s to block the bid, but the council has approved the proposal. A grand total of 30 protesters opposed the decision.” guido
…………. Yes Notts Fracking
I had to snigger at the latest, out of touch, arrogant offering from Tony Hall.
“The BBC World Service is a jewel in the crown – for the BBC and for Britain.
“As we move towards our centenary, my vision is of a confident, outward-looking BBC which brings the best of our independent, impartial journalism and world-class entertainment to half a billion people around the world.
“Today is a key step towards that aim.”
The jewel in the crown of Britain! Give me strength.
It really is time to clip the wings of this shitshow and bring it back down to earth.
How about Thornberris, a language involving largely nasal pronunciation with over 50 swear words for working class people. Many of which are specific to the White Van substrata of society.
So,
I’ve been watching the reports of the rise of hate crimes in the US since DT beat HC to the top and yesterday the media published the lasted FBI crime stats on the subject. Funny enough they have all zeroed in on the 67% rise in hate crimes against Muslims and late tonight 16/1040/15/2016 the bBC joined the liberal posse demanding somebodys head. (As this is about the Buggering British children (bBC) that would refer to a little boy aged around 7 sporting a jim will fix it badge) anyway here is the bBC headline: Hundreds of hate attacks recorded in US since election A US hate-attack monitoring group has documented 437 cases of intimidation and abuse towards minorities since the general election a week ago. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) told the BBC that evidence of a nationwide surge in such incidents is “anecdotal but not a fantasy”. The nonprofit group said many of the attacks were linked to supporters of President-elect Donald Trump. It comes after the FBI reported a 67% rise in anti-Muslim bigotry last year.
Wow 67% rise in anti Muslim bigotry that is a lot of hate and allows the bBC to promote the view that white people are fucking racists bigots when it comes to the peaceful followers of Islam. But hey, I’m Pounce and I’m one of those sad gits who actually reads the small print on everything I sign or read and here is what I found at the FBI website: About Hate Crime Statistics, 2015
Religious bias (Based on Table 1.)
Hate crimes motivated by religious bias accounted for 1,354 offenses reported by law enforcement. A breakdown of the bias motivation of religious-biased offenses showed:
51.3 percent were anti-Jewish.
22.2 percent were anti-Islamic (Muslim).
The largest group of victims of hate crimes by religion were the Jews who reported 664 incidents of a hate crime.
Muslims reported 257 incidents of a hate crime.
So where does that 67% rise come from, why in 2014 there were 154 incidents of ‘Islamophobia’ reported by Muslims.
The US has an Islamic population of 3.3 million (out of 320 million) and 664 of them reported a hate crime and the bBC feels fit to push the notion that anti-Islamic hatred in the US is a huge problem .
Anybody have the figures on how many Muslims have been murdered in the US this past year by Non-Muslims, now contrast that with the number of people murdered by Muslims. Put it this way you only have to listen to this record in which to see that Muslims have murdered more people in the US in the past six months (alone) than Muslims have been murdered in the US in the past 16 years.
Yet to the bBC, Muslims can be the only victims.
The bBC, the so called impartial news org, paid for by you.
I don`t know Paul!
If you did a Tommy Robinson or a Milo and filmed the results yourself, then the rest of us could learn alot.
But-we`d not have to put up with the BBC for the day as you would.
But good to know they`e now heard of you…fancy being the Rights Andy Kershaw?
But without the unpleasantness round the Isle of Man eh?
Love. Aisla
Unpicking the mudslinging against Stephen Bannon “oh he’s an anti-Semite” Guido has audio and transcript of a 2014 speech to a Catholic body
Bannon praises Judeo Christianity though-out.
But explains racism in rightwing parties ..saying he knows of none in UKIP and that yes it does occur in parties like La Front National, but it gets marginalised and washed out.
He also calls Putin a kleptocrat.. I left a longer summary quoting direct parts
Emily Maitliss Twitter feed is like that of an anti-Trump campaign team
How many people does she have working on it ?
– She’s mentioned Trump 15 times in the last 2 days
specifically using the phrase “white nationalists” twice
Maitliss is a clueless, biased, uninformed idiot. Last week on Newsnight the editor of the American Spectator referred to the Knights of St. Columbanus and she looked blankly at him. He said “you know who they are, right?” She shrugged her shoulders and said: “another extremist organisation?”
Breitbart announced last night that is it going to sue a “major media organization” over allegations it is “white nationalist”. Good for them, I hope they bleed them for every last cent.
I received a missive from my MP. Basically a note from on high to his constituents as to his view of the current world. (Hard core labour constituency) He referred to the type of white american elector who voted Trump in.
So the left message, and they usually use the same script, is that white stupid ill educated american’s elected Trump.
…It’s not impossible that in some opther place the Ski season might start 3 weeks late..but we are unlikely to ever get to the situation of “our children will never know what snow is”
#Meanwhile the streets have Stockholm are already 2 feet deep in snow but people can’t get around, due to “Gender equal snow-cleaning” CapX.co cached (their server seems under attack)
Here’s the eminent Nigel Farage on the only sane, professional US broadcast media discussing Brexit, Trump’s victory, protesters and the failure of the polls:
I imagine the happy occasion would have been rather different if he’d been confronted by a trio of BBC hacks.
…The Islamic Al Beeb webshite has today run the article on the “Trump presidency: your questions answered” and my questions aren’t there!! I would have thought the vicious, bigoted, white hating Al Shabeeb would have loved my questions on optimism and hope for the future, with me asking about how things can only get better after the utter disaster of Caliph Obamas presidency and how we should do all we can to fight the racist, bigoted fascists that are rioting against Trump in the US….. But absolutely nothing on my questions!! Instead the British hating Al Beeb have gone for “hate, hate, and more hate” with purely made up questions and answers about Trump…… I’m truly shocked about that ?
The bbc is akin to the school bully. They have no quarms about bashing brexit voters, Trump or Farage or Johnson. Yet as their reporters embedded with the forces battling for Mosul see evidence of the IS occupation there is an elephant in the room. And the name of that elephant is who the fuck has supplied all the arms to IS? They don’t seem to have the balls to ask the real questions. You don’t take over a country with few bits and pieces you bought at the local army surplus shop. Who are pulling the strings. If it’s Qatar and or Saudi then be bold enough to say so. That’s where the story is you fools.
You may be less pleased to here that BBC is to air Islam 24/7 and midday day prayer times and Ramadan ‘live’ as it happens. Christmas (as a fesivity) will also be ‘discouraged’ under the new regime (regime change = global climate change). Its all the same thing to the BBC.
Anyway you can VOTE against the BBC (not that they will change the (EU inspired) agenda) of adopting Islam but is all been ‘approved’ by Lord Hall….
The Director-General of the BBC, Lord Hall of Birkenhead, has said he will increase the coverage of other faiths and could broadcast Friday prayers from a mosque along the lines of Songs of Praise. He says he will do this because there have been complaints that the Corporation was ‘too Christian’. We entirely reject any idea of Christian bias at the BBC. In 2011 a survey conducted by the BBC itself found that of the 4,500 people approached, the overwhelming feeling was that the BBC was anti-Christian, and that the Christian faith was consistently misrepresented. In 2012, the then Director-General, Mark Thompson, himself admitted that Christianity was treated ‘less-sensitively’ than other religions. Since that time there have been numerous similar complaints of clear bias against Christianity, some coming from employees at the BBC themselves.
In 2009 Aaqil Ahmed was appointed Head of Religion and Ethics. Under his tenure there have been a series of documentaries on, and relating to, Islam. All have been highly supportive of it and, as Mr Ahmed has himself admitted, have been designed to overcome prejudice and distrust of Muslims in this country. By contrast, programmes commissioned relating to Christianity have been consistently designed to undermine Christian belief, calling into question fundamental tenets and doctrines of the faith.
Petition (against the BBC) http://www.citizengo.org/en/38667-protect-christian-programming-and-coverage-bbc?tc=ty&tcid=29261151
And don’t forget the involvement of SAUDI ‘slush’ funds behind the BBC propaganda wars.
That post leads to a parting blogpost from Aaqil
“Given what a lack of religious literacy in a time of demographic change could mean, it is vital that we get this subject right today and plan for the future.”
“Changes to Songs of Praise have made it a multi-denominational weekly, reflecting the changes within Christianity in the UK. This was seen recently in its visit to the notorious migrant camp ‘The Jungle’ in Calais”
(I’d never heard of this ..Aug 2015.
Jeez .. The Jungle is a place for French TV’s Songs of Praise, not Britain’s)
“It’s not, however, a luxury and as silly as this may sound today to some, understanding religion will become more important in the future. It is, in some senses, a more essential genre than others. ”
‘Religion is back !’
BS I say. Roll on 100% atheism and freedom from religious dogma.
(Most ethnic Muslims I know, want to be to free …of religious rules etc to drink, to basically be like everyone else)
“The BBC is the last game in town”
yep I notice that All the press have no religion column, they are distinctly secular keeping news and religion separate. Papers know their they can cater to Catholic or evangelist or Islam, but not all at the same time.
but he says “The business and social cohesion case is in front of us all.” …Em !!!
– Just listened to a small report on the “World “Service” about concern over the preponderance of “fake news” sites on google etc.
The ever concerned Alan Kasuja talking to the interviewee about are we living in a “post fact” era and whether Google should act as better “gatekeepers” to prevent this sort of thing.
Alan the concerned – seemed to agree that this was a big problem.
After years of lies about immigration, brexit, etc and of course the recent “non story” about the report on brexit disorganization within the government. It appears that the delusional really are running the asylum. Like the insane everywhere they have a complete lack of irony and shamelessness when delivering these so called ” news” reports.
What amazes me is the complete contempt they obviously hold their listeners/viewers in. One thing is for sure. Not fit for purpose is an understatement.
Maybe they are the start of a new parallel universe with their own gravity and upside down logic and rules – one thing is for sure they certainly staffed by aliens who seem to have no connection to the real world.
Referring to the above post – Toady have now picked up on the post-fact term.
Apparently it is the “word of the year” according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Toady said. Post-truth – refers to a political culture where debate is framed in appeals to emotion rather than facts. We were then breezily informed by the presenter of some other new words which came to prominence the very next word being brexit.
I am sure it was a total coincidence that brexit immediately folLowed post-truth. How clever! Such perfect juxtaposition! I am sure it wasnt at the suggestion of some spotty, curly haired, fop intern sub sub sub assistant editor who is doing a journalism degree from the LSE. Looks like he might be invited back for a “real” BBC job after next years finals.
Bit early for swearing – I know, but BBC please JUST F##k OFF!
One of the words of the year has got to be “Lugenpresse”.
the other, “Whitelash” which is the racially charged term being used in the leftist press for lying about who voted for President elect Donald Trump and Brexit.
Next year? I predict an appearance for “De islamisation”.
Commercial media such as newspapers, magazines, academic journals, reference book publishers etc have known for years that unless they changed their business model to compete with the online revolution, they would go under. I suspect the BBC thought it was insulated from all that by it’s ‘unique method of funding’. Now, however, they may be realising that although their funding can be ringfenced, their ideology cannot. They can’t stop people disagreeing with them or even disbelieving them. This was never a problem in the past, because there wasn’t really any way for ordinary folk to check their propaganda and assess it on balance.
I believe the first inklings of this hit the BBC during the migrant crisis in 2015 (remember the horror of that radio presenter when listeners complained about the manipulation of the images of that poor drowned Syrian boy). I suspect they are still unable to fully come to terms with the fact they are no longer believed in as the ‘Ministry of Truth.’
All through its long history the BBC has been expected, for various reasons, to tell lies for the government. These days however it seems to lie on its own behalf.
Housing crisis discussed on BBC today programme, this morning with an “expert” who has written a report for Labour.
The gist of it is that young people can’t afford to buy houses and housing ownership generally is declining. Why is this happening?
Wages are falling and young people need encouragement to save…..what can they save if they’re skint? financial support from the government to help change saving behaviour….translation….taxpayers money to keep housing prices high.
No mention at all of the effect of mass immigration on the labour and housing markets of course, why would there be?
Embolden, there is a Planning Law principle fondly known off the record as, a ‘Planning Bribe’. It is a legalised bribe to obtain Planning Consent for any particular development. Officially, its called a, ‘Planning Obligation’ under S.106 of the 1990 Town and Country Planning Act (as amended). For a developer anxious to obtain planning consent for a development including housing, the local planning authority can, inter alia, demand money in return for the consent (that’s over and above any Application fees etc.). The question in my mind is, how many developers are not prepared to proceed with a housing development because the local Council have become too greedy and disproportionately so?
That bribe as you put it, I think is more about councils sugar coating developments to overcome local resistance by promises of spending the money on improvements to infrastructure, provision of affordable housing, open public space etc. My observation is that the “public open space”, after a few years, becomes the target for further development usually of “affordable housing”.
It`s an attempt to overcome local (and national) resistance to the concreting over of Britain which the national government is pressing on local government so it can demonstrate “growth” and house the tens of thousands of immigrants entering the UK annually from the EU and from outside the EU…flows of people that appear to be driven by powerful supra national interests.
Perhaps local government is requiring larger sums of money than devlopers are willing to pay in oredr to slow down this process as unpopular planning decisions impacting on local amenities lose votes. That`s a convoluted form of democracy I guess.
On the subject of housing there was an interesting discussion at the local Parish Council meeting last month.
To set the scene, a few years ago a housing association took over the management of a row of OAP bungalows in the village. As the OAPs died they were replaced by “priority families” from out of area.
At the council meeting there was a discussion of a new development and we were assured that it would be good for the village because the managers of the new affordable housing would be required to award the tenancies to local people. Questioning revealed that the out of area families now qualified as local and because the bungalows were rather small for them they would be a priority for the new houses, and the housing association could back fill the bungalows with more out of area families.
The developer looked puzzled at the strength of the opposition.
So: ‘Lord Hall vowed to improve efficiency at the BBC when he took over last year, claiming he would review all spending by the corporation, particularly excessive senior salaries and pay offs.
Speaking last year, he said: “We’ve got to look at the way we spend all our money – on managers, on programmes, on everything as if we were spending our own personal money.’
But then BBC ‘worldwide’ is NOT part of the BBC Charter (strange but true) they can do what they want ‘overseas’. That is another problem we have no control over and they can use the TV license to do it. The World Service was originally funded by the ‘Foreign office’ but funding was discontinued (under the last Lord Hall Charter review). The BBC has never been ‘independent’!
I quote the highlights
“The internet is not keeping everyone informed, nor will it: it is, in fact, magnifying problems of information inequality, misinformation, polarisation and disengagement,” the report says.
* that’s their opinion..yet there is no evidence given *
yes we can see that internet is bad for Leftmob cos they stay in gatekeepered Bubbleworld’s
But for us the internet helps us see thru BBC and Climate disinformation
“Our job is keeping everyone informed**.
To do this, BBC News is going to have to start thinking how it is going to deliver on its mission to inform in an age beyond broadcasting.”
** (ha they mean DIS-informed)
“in order to remain relevant, the BBC will need to continue to expand its reach on different platforms.”
With what ?… Magic Money ?
“As many countries in the world limit free speech and press freedom, BBC News could” What ?
Could also work to “limit free speech and press freedom” Just like it does now
It talks about local news using the example of Bradford cos it has special needs like ” highest infant mortality rates in Britain”
..Hmm now why would that be ?
Coincidentally it has a massive proportion of Bangla/Pakistanini origin.
“The BBC is going to have to fill media gaps” Why’s that ?
\\But if BBC News is going to serve the whole of society in the UK, it must reflect it,” the report says//
Well up till now it shows only wanting to reflect London and Virtue Signalling ..not the true UK
\\“value-added journalism of explanation, investigation and holding people to account.”//
LOL if it wasn’t too busy disinforming people
“The tone of stories” ..ha you mean more SNEERING ?
It ends
\\“The voice of God is no good to people who are not believers in the news.//
Yes why haven’t the BBC stopped patronising already ?
This is the 2nd funding climb-down by the government to the BBC over the World Service. In time they will get all the cash back that they were obliged to forego in the last but one ‘settlement’ (not the Whippingdale one).
The 1,000 new staff will all get gold-plated pensions which alone will require an increase in the licence fee.
The World Service is currently about broadcasting the progressive anti-imperialist views of the 3rd World to the 3rd World (and to insomniacs in the UK).
Radio 4 due to its management’s diversity priorities (actually instructions) is almost entirely now about broadcasting, in a very patronising way, about non-BME and otherwise non-minority life to the UK’s white and older population.
Interestingly apart from unreconstructed liberals about 80% of that demographic voted for Brexit.
I wonder why?
OMG, nearly brought up my breakfast. Al Shabeeb now broadcasting its “news and views” i.e. left-screwed interpretation of facts or “fake news” to even more countries at our, taxpayers’, expense. Where have they got all this money from? Oh yes, US.
And todays headlines on their propaganda sheet? Trump’s “disarray” and Boris Johnson’s “Brexit view impossible.” Hard facts? Erm….no. Just their normal negative viewpoint.
Nice little advertising feature on the Today Programme at prime time this morning for “Fantastic Creatures”, the latest from JK Rowling’s stable. The sort of advertising money can’t buy, allegedly.
On top of that there’s a Fantastic Creatures sketch on Children in Need, according to the BBC’s own plugs. All for charidee, of course. Bet the film company can’t believe their luck.
Good to see Sarah Montague worked in an anti-Trump line about a cruel white person from a rich family
That followed her other rather stunning assertion that the Russian/Syrian bombing of Aleppo had now resumed after the US election with a clear implication that this was done to ensure Trump’s election
Ta Steve.
A must-read seeing as it appears from Planet Normal.
Very few people who get to talk on news, dialysis and current fayres on the BBC seem to have come from Planet Normal.
So a rare thing.
Thanks again, reckon he`s worth some TLC on his comments section-I`ve even sent a picture, seems like a nice boy….
Thanks for the link, brilliant article. Actually I have heard of Adichie as I take an interest in West African affairs and her novel ” Half of a Yellow Sun “, about the Biafra War ( no guesses which side I was on ) is brilliant.
However, it gives her no more right to comment on the US election than anyone else. As a Nigerian, I would have thought she would have taken the chance to praise the US democratic process and condemn the lack of democracy in Nigeria and the awful things that have happened there under all Nigerian governments. Some hope !
I meant she, as a Nigerian, not me !
Maybe she prefers not to refer to Biafra as it was Wilson’s Labour government which armed and supported Gowon in the Genocide against the Biafrans. Easier just to bash Trump !
Boris Johnson is offering Britain a vision of life outside the EU that is “intellectually impossible”, a leading European finance minister has said.
Jeroen Dijsselbloem, the Dutch finance minister, said such an option “doesn’t exist” and was “impossible”.
Well he would say that wouldn’t he ?
How often have the Dutch overruled what Angela Merkel wanted to do? In the end Merkel will decide what deal the EU will offer the UK in the negotiations (if they ever get formally started, thanks to our legal profession). Todays news bout Merkel, as reported in the Telegraph, shows the first crack in the EU ‘no concessions on the four freedoms’ approach. This doesn’t mean a deal will be easy but it gives the lie to programmes such as this week’s Analysis on Radio 4 which, to the strains of ‘the road to nowhere’ interviewed minor European politicians and others you’ve never heard of saying that Britain wouldn’t get any concessions. This negativity may suit the BBC narrative but its no indication of what will actually happen.
BBC TV news now reporting that a minor Italian politician is also saying that Britain can’t get any special treatment in Brexit negotiations,. Who are the BBC trying to kid? These nobodies will not determine what happens. Interestingly the Dutch Finance Minister whom the BBC are quoting extensively after interviewing him on Newsnight, said that Turkey had a special EU deal ( in the customs union but not the single market) but a special , tailored deal with the UK was ‘ intellectually impossible ‘. Are we really supposed to believe that Britain counts for so little? The BBC would clearly like to belittle our country in this way. However the reality will be different, much to the chagrin of the BBC .
The UK has a trade deficit with the EU countries, so we have the whip hand. That is all anyone needs to know. We shall win in any trade war, end of story.
Well remember the gormless but lovable Garret Fitzgerald going around a seemingly successful Galway Crystal Factory in late 80s but furrowed in the brow.
AS the foreman and MD described the exports, the Celtic Tiger stuff at that time etc-someone asked Garret what was wrong.
” But how does all this work IN THEORY” was his eventual comment.
And there you have it.
Might not be Support Our Lefty in terms of import…but still….
BBC World Service to be expanded? An ideal opportunity to spread more deceit, misinformation, and the manipulation of minds not accustomed to the underhand and manipulative ways of, “The Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster”. More Brexit and Trump hatred but in a variety of languages can only result.
Typical of, ‘proper’ news the people want to hear but no chance on the BBC in view of their supportive role for their Principal Cult: http://newobserveronline.com/germany-mass-swoop-invaders/
200 houses raided and I can’t see anything on the BBC website. BBC to broadcast to N. Korea. No doubt telling them how wonderful their country is and how awful Britain is. The BBC, a national disgrace.
Noted the perfectly-amiable Canadian Foreign Secretary get the same “Old Colonial Boy” sniffing from Nick Robinson at 8.10 this morning.
1. Tell us you won`t deal with us if we leave the EU
2. Or if we DO go-we`ll only have to do the same as Junckers goons if we want your maple syrup.
3 .Is Theresa May and her backstairs bellyachers going against EU Law(in theory) if they try to talk to you before we go-and can we agree that they`ll have been unprepared and slow if they DON`T speak to you now.
4. Come now sir-SURELY there be dish to dirt here.WE`re all friends here, the nation needs to know…
5. Trumps a twat innie-and wotcha gonna do abaht it? Call yourself a country?
That folks is pretty much the interview-can`t imagine Nick got his killer soundbite for 9am, so same time ,same bleeding channels tomorrow.
NZ, St Helenas, Cook Islands?
Utter crap. Snooze button has been adjusted to force me out and not think that THIS time, I might find anything but the blunt nosed Henry banging his face into a parked Prius as nauseum. Clement Freuds dog, he was-did Savile have one, sniffs colonial butt better than Old Nick,
Don’t you love the way the BBC reported the Brexit good news story that Google is opening a new headquarters in London with 3,000 new jobs, by asking the CEO of google about how fake news had impacted on the American election.
BBC bias masterclass, take a potential Brexit good news story and turn it into an anti Trump story. Genius, ticks all the boxes.
The BBC swamp needs to be drained.
No one voted for them to represent their views to the country and certainly not the World as those of the majority. They have no mandate to operate. Their editorial policy is no more valid than any newspaper BUT we have a choice of newspapers and we can purchase several or none. We have no such choice with the BBC.
BBC views are not my views and the sheer arrogance that allows them to continue to put themselves up as the, ‘Voice of Britain’ is utterly disgusting and belongs to an age which has long passed.
There are ‘dark forces’ at work in this country . I have noticed a recent increase in Anti Brexit and anti Government propaganda on all the broadcasting media.
What is it with the media ?
Despite their propaganda and the rigging of the so-called ‘polls’. The voice of the people was heard, WE VOTED OUT because we wanted out of the EU, nothing more and nothing less.
They warned us pre the Brexit vote that the ‘uncertainty’ would ruin the economy .
Well now they are trying to delay Brexit which will no doubt cause uncertainty.
It would appear that the ‘dark forces’ are prepared to sabotage the nation just to stay in the Un-democratic European Union.
The Queen herself reffered to the ‘enemy within’ at times of national crisis. I think she meant the BBC at the time. The Guardian is also clearly part of the ‘New republican’ movement to create unrest and UK disorder – aiming to dissolve the the monarchy in UK as head of state – with an (imposed) EU ‘representaive’ (EU Commisioner or EU Tsar), needles to say all MP’s would be made redundant and would have no vote in any residual UK parliament. The BBC are clearly part of the ‘dark forces’ at work by association. BBC (regime change = climate change) and therefore ‘one world’ fits all EU nations. Marx by another name. Foiled by BREXIT!

You have to wonder what drugs they find so appealing. It is about drugs isn't it? The fact that none of this makes no sense to encourage is lost on media twerps on public networks.
Because of some of the comments above, I dug out the ‘One Show’ clip on YouTube where Hammond and May are run down by two women, one white and one black. Diversity box ticked. Hammond and May were attacked but remained calm, warm and entertaining.
The two ladies couldn’t move off their scripted lines nor react to anything the lads said.
The first question ended with, “… because your employers want to sell their subscriptions.”
This was met with stunned silence in the studio, bewilderment from Hammond and May and, I am guessing, gnashing of teeth throughout the land. Is she so thick she doesn’t understand the BBC has an enforced subscription? If someone doesn’t like Amazon, then they don’t pay for it, if you hate the BBC with all your soul you still have to pay their inflated wages and incredible pensions.
The BBC at its worst, and it’s not just us, take a look at the comments.
Beyond belief even by the BBC’s increasingly low standards. I have no brief for May and Hammond and have never watched Top Gear but all credit to them. BBC making complete asses of themselves as usual.
What horrible women. What language are they speaking ?
The Japanese have coined a word for this type of contemporary, screechy young woman, “Joshi” (plural “Joshikai”). I saw a documentary on NHK last year on the phenomenon. They say there is no English translation, however privately, I can think of one.
The most stupid part of the interview was when May was asked “Do you think you made the right decision?”.
A more honest question would have been…. “Do you think you made the right decision to leave an organisation that tried to micro manage your show and tried to enforce it’s group think on you?”
I can’t quite understand the hostility simmering under the surface either. Hammond and May didn’t do anything wrong, and let’s be honest the BBC wanted rid of Clarkson for a while, sure he made it easy for them but if wasn’t the “fracas” it would’ve been something else. Is it because they had more loyalty to Clarkson than the BBC? They earned an absolute fortune for BBC and that’s the kind of interview they’re treated to? No wonder they left!!
Fake news about Google UK investment interview
Here is the iplayer link to last night’s bbc fake news at six. It refers to the interview with the Google boss Sundar Pichai. It’s ironic in an interview in which the bbc discusses fake news, they actually make up some fake news themselves. The newsreader claims the Google boss told Kamal Ahmed that “Google needs open borders to attract talent from outside the UK” and in Kamal Ahmeds’s report he also claims “He said open borders and free movement for skilled migrants were “absolutely” important to the success of the technology sector in the UK.”
Well did he actually say that??? Actually no he didn’t. He took a very non-committal stance and said it was a matter for the citizens of the UK. He then generalised about Google’s experiences but did not once say the UK borders must be kept open as some sort of condition for investment. A desperate Kamal Ahmed was forced to throw in “Keep those borders open” to which admittedly the interviewee replied yes but was he still generalising? A moot point indeed. What is crystal clear is he never once said “”Google needs open borders to attract talent from outside the UK” or “open borders and free movement for skilled migrants were “absolutely” important to the success of the technology sector in the UK”
Well what does the reality check say? – – – – – – it’s fake !!!!
UK unemployment rockets to a new low, while the FTSE plummets to a new high. Inflation increases downward while remaining stubbornly below the Bank of England target.
Can’t speak for the BBC, but fell about laughing as Classic FM Global Meltdown read out the facts of the rate, promptly followed by… ‘but Labour says…’.
I missed it, but something about not enough persons of small stature being positively discriminated against at the Harlesden Trotters try outs.
Who needs enemies when we have the BBC.
We accept opposition parties will oppose and attempt to undermine a Government but for a national broadcaster to actively seek to undermine the success of the whole nation is nothing less than treasonous.
The BBC is above such petty notions as affection for the land, a place and a country. They probably have to sign a ” No patriotism ” clause when hired.
The pursuit of diversity is mandatory from all employees at all times. Overrides any consideration of reality, truth or honesty.
Irish patriotism is ok, remember Who Do You Think You Are glamorising the IRA ancestor of the Mrs Brown chap, while David Tennant apologised that his Ulster ancestors signed the Covenant.
Just now on BBC News Channel Kamal Ahmed answers a few viewer questions (filtered and carefully selected by BBC editors) concerning the likely economic consequences of the Donald Trump Presidency.
Leaving aside the sheer hubris of an organisation which frankly failed to see any chance that Trump might ever be President, now attempting solemnly to read us the tea leaves…
Our Kamal accidentally dips his hand as he tries to answer a question about Donald Trump’s refusal to publish his tax returns.
“This was an issue WE thought was important and apparently for his supporters, people who voted for him, this was not an issue”
Is the BBC a paid up honourary corporate member of the US Democrat Party or was that the Royal “We”, Kamal?
Wicca coffin on standby there SOL as you measure all the Tories who`ll soon be killed as Clint Corbyn “bites on Saviles cheroot” as he wastes the whole Fascist Cabal of Edstone, Wyoming
Quite literally the film we need to see.
And hereby apply for yet ANOTHER post with your “emergent organ” as “Arts and Media Top Toff”,,,either Gompertz or Ninny Nanna will do as examples of my craft.
Few bits of Percy Filth there SOL-I`m in arts now, so its expected!
Friend Chris! You can literally consider yourself literally hired on my, er, Blog. [Am trying not to shock Friend Grant any more than he’s already been literally shocked.]
Grant is a fifth columnist I`d say, and my pals are watching ready to strike.
WE`re are the Pure Wing of Rightness-and we hate the traitor class within the rising surge of the flowing tide of red bloody socialism. I`d watch for grant and those north of the border…where was HE as I won all my paste medals?
I have never been a communist of any kind , let alone columnist. Your “pals” don’t know where I live, but I know Dartmoor ( or is it Exmoor ? ) like the back of my hand. As the frogs would say ” Prenez garde ” !
May I say that your reaction to my request for a pint of scrumpy was disproportionate and inappropriate.
I require a BBC-style meaningful apology now. For good measure, I have cut you out of my Will.
Speaking of good measure, this Highland Park tastes delicious and you can’t make it South of the Border .
Sassenachs , who needs you ? I love Krankie . She will make Scotland great again and wealthy. Er…. Need to refill my glass .
Yes ! My problem is that I could easily spend all day on this excellent site so I need a bit of cold turkey now and again ! Great to see some new posters here and I am not surprised that my pint of scrumpy from cH has not materialised. I am moving on to Lagavulin now. And it is not distilled in Islington !
Lagavulin…that some bothy place for Tartan troublemakers on an estate in Falkirk?…or a new medication that you get free c/o Krankie for knowing too much?
Lager Valley?…sounds fine to me!
To whom it may concern.
If I , in any way impugned the Gambian Guru in saying that he was a bit eggy and been at assorted firewaters as he traduced The Wessex Wonder-then I must take this back.
It was both inappropriate, disappointing and a source of concern both to me and all my cultists..I misspoke, don`t remember what I was saying.
Just as well you`ve not cut my will-my wife Reginald tells me that you think I`ve had the snip somewhere on a blog…who let HIM onto this site, Buddha only knows!
Today I am drinking mostly Stella-and am beating myself up, so Reggie gets a night off!
Hope you`ve not dropped your migration papers in a local still-I will have to tell Strathclyde Police that you looked all funny at me two years ago or summat!
Take care my friend-this apology no way implies I`m sorry mind?
IN Our BBC Predictions for 2017…can I predict that Support Our Lefty will increase in influence as I wane?…and you`d make a great “African Correspondent”…I was merely sucking up to the New Boss! I`m an oily rag between two engineers!
LOL ! Is this your idea of an apology ? It has about as much credibility as a BBC apology would have if they ever made one. I am affrontet, sair affrontet. I shall be in the huff for at least 5 minutes. As they would say in Inverness, ah huv taen the strunt.
Just a bit worried about this Reggie guy or would you rather not go there ?
Was hoping to get a few of my young offender laddies to give us “Killer Pudseys!”
No takers yet-but two days to go.
And at least the Killer Clowns didn`t rattle buckets round my gonads -and risked a fight as they`d try to mug you.
The BBC just mither and give us crap like Citizen Khan rejects-how bad would THEY have to be?
Back on the cider again I see. Not for the first time you have lost me here. Could you or someone else please deconstruct your post for me. Please don’t take Scots’ mithers names in vain. My mum would be most upset .
Sorry Grant-Wetherspoons are to blame!
1. We had a craze here a few weeks back about Killer Clowns-people dressing as clowns and attacking people before Hallowe`en.
I`ve been in and out of YOI educational-related places here in Wessex-and I`ve got lads who (I`d imagine) might bring down bloody Children In Need were they to dress up as Pudseys and attack a few folk in the quangos, schools and BBC Centre, It`s coming up on Friday and I hate it!
2. MITHER- I think we`ll both agree -is a Manc phrase, so how the heck the Scots got it is beyond me…did George Formby visit a Sauchiehall tenement or such?
over to you Grant-welcome home!
Judging by some of the decisions that have been reached by the High Court in the last months, it would seem it is even more biased than the bBBC. I wouldn’t expect any joy from that quarter.
BBC finding people GUILTY
..who are then found not-guilty by the courts
I see the Zimbabwe courts have kicked out the case against the trophy hunter killer of Cecil the lion…It did seem at the time that he had acted within the law.

Why would a subsidy loving airline like Ryan Air love the EU ?
…I see they’ve been told to pay back €2m ..Making a total of €12.5m it has been ordered to pay back since 2014 (Times)
Thanks for that. I had found similar numbers but could not believe them. What I can’t understand, is how a programme with around 500000 viewers can edit a live studio segment, which I found very questionable, out of the Iplayer version that was later put out, without anybody in the country apparently noticing, or commenting.
I refer to the evening of 16 June 2016. I am still gobsmacked at what went on.
1. Does the BBC have any reporters, editors, or presenters who will say they voted for Brexit?
2. Has it hired any reporters who are even slightly Right of Centre?
3. Has it policies which allow or encourage journalists to express their opinions about the events and people they covered in their news stories?
4. Will it refrain from purporting to speak for the majority of British people.
5. Have its editors retracted misleading news headlines that expressed opinions or pure speculation and misinformation.
6. Has it sanctioned reporters who admitted to writing politically motivated “news” stories and sought and encouraged interview subjects solely to fit some BBC agenda?
*By the way. As you know, diversity is important to the BBC. This, though, does not extend to diversity of opinions or political views, unless it is of course a diversity of opinion between the left and the hard left.
“4. Will it refrain from purporting to speak for the majority of British people”
It doesn’t speak for the majority of Brits Gaxvil my friend, as they believe the vast majority of British people are social retarded, racist, bigoted, Islamaphobic morons who are to thick to think for themselves….Al Shabeeb speak TO US, and will criminalise, abuse, attack, and destroy everything and everyone who does want to ‘listen’
Quick instand bias.
Watched a bit of PMQs having heard that Corbyn was getting better.
I was badly misinformed. May was well in control throughout and she got in all the right digs.
Back to the Daily Politics. Jo Coburn ‘chooses’ four inbound comments. Two suggested Corbyn was getting nowhere asking about Brexit, presented not as anti Corbyn but more trying to help him. The next two comments were openly hostile to the government. So its about Corbyn 3 May 0 on that one, gtotally at odds with what I had just watched
Maybe the pro-government people are too busy working to watch and write in….
Then it was straight over to Laura Cuntsberg with her barely concealed anti government whingeathon, criticcising the government for lack of Brexit clarity. Clearly Laura has never had to negotiate a damn thing and does not know the first thing about the discipline.
Off button pressed.
But have any Beeboids or most journalists had any real job outside journalism ? So what do they know about anything ? A bit like most politicians. That is why they wallow in the same cesspit of shared ignorance.
Grant, look at the BBC Presenters individually for a resume of their background. I am always impressed when it tells me that, for example, (Sarah Montague), “Studied at Bristol University”. Did she obtain any qualifications from that spell? Well, they don’t tell you that so maybe she was a ‘dropout’.
Marcus Brigstocke’s qualifications for mocking Climate Scientists who do not agree with him on the points below, are Drama (Fail, due to dropping out), Bristol University.
That there is any proof that Carbon-Dioxide or anything else has any effect on temperatures, using the Arrhenius method of calculating the Greenhouse effect. So lets move on to a formula based on Thermodynamics called the “Unified Theory of Climate“ which shows that the average surface temperature divided by the grey body temperature gives you the magnitude of the Thermal inertia which resembles the response of the temperature/potential temperature ratio to the altitudinal changes of pressure described by the Poisson formula. Which I find always works for all observational evidence for all Planetary Atmospheres in the Solar System.
However, although I think Trump must be a Mensa quality genius, due to his realisation that man-made Climate Change is a fraud. I believe it was a Canadian who was responsible for this fraud, not the Chinese. The Canadian set up the International Panel on Climate Change, and the annual 10,000 participant Climate Change junket. But then went to live in and then die in China.
Marcus Brigstocke is not covered by the BBC,s Censorship Policy on Climate Science.
Montague was born to John Montague and Mary (née O’Malley) on Guernsey, a British Crown Dependency and one of the Channel Islands. Her father was an Army colonel. She attended Blanchelande College, a local independent school for girls, and went on to study biology at the University of Bristol, gaining a BSc.
No class mentioned so a Desmond (or worse)I guess.
Still you dont need a degree to be a TV presenter, just a posh or immigration background and plenty of chutzpah.

The co-ordination of the leak and BBC reporting thereof hummed with the rotten stench of a Commom Purpose stitch-up.

Gary Lineker attempting to redeem himself with Biased BBC readers??
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3938078/Gary-Lineker-says-BBC-licence-fee-optional.html

Welly welly welly welly well. On this morning’s Today it was all about black women more likely to suffer from breast cancer.
What with their OTT coverage of ‘Black History Month’ it’s beginning to look like the BBC might be pushing towards another new radio station.
How’s about ‘African Heritage Network’?

Dave, the “anti-semite” line was the BBC smear on 15th. The smear on 16th is that Trump has given too much power to his Jewish son-in-law. It’s getting very hard to keep up – for them as well as us.

Oh, yes.

Please, stick to what you’re good at.

Spiffy.

I don’t think I can resist sending one to my lefty brother, who sent me an e-mail tirade against ‘racist’ Brexiteers.
We need a rhyme for the card, though. I’ve come up with a variant of the Twelve Days of Christmas:
In the campaign ‘gainst Brexit,
The BBC sent me:
12 Crypto-Marxists,
11 UKIP-bashers,
10 Brussels bullies,
9 Cameron cronies,
8 Snowflakes sobbing,
7 Twitter lynch mobs
6 ‘Nazi!’ smearers,
5 Loony tunes!
4 Juncker fans,
3 French twits,
2 Merkel nuts,
And Obama never off our TV!
Luckily they failed miserably, so Merry Christmas, everyone!

How can we be in, If there is no outside
All shades of opinion, Feed an open mind
But your values are twisted, Let us help you unwind
You may look like we do, Talk like we do
But you know how it is
You’re not one of us, Not one of us
No you’re not one of us

So,
I’ve been watching the reports of the rise of hate crimes in the US since DT beat HC to the top and yesterday the media published the lasted FBI crime stats on the subject. Funny enough they have all zeroed in on the 67% rise in hate crimes against Muslims and late tonight 16/1040/15/2016 the bBC joined the liberal posse demanding somebodys head. (As this is about the Buggering British children (bBC) that would refer to a little boy aged around 7 sporting a jim will fix it badge) anyway here is the bBC headline:
Hundreds of hate attacks recorded in US since election
A US hate-attack monitoring group has documented 437 cases of intimidation and abuse towards minorities since the general election a week ago.
But hey, I’m Pounce and I’m one of those sad gits who actually reads the small print on everything I sign or read and here is what I found at the FBI website:
About Hate Crime Statistics, 2015

Petition (against the BBC)

Sorry posted these on wrong thread

Speaking last year, he said: “We’ve got to look at the way we spend all our money – on managers, on programmes, on everything as if we were spending our own personal money.’
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/11091293/BBC-chiefs-expenses-rise-under-Lord-Hall.html

Steve,
Thanks for the link, brilliant article.

Typical of, ‘proper’ news the people want to hear but no chance on the BBC in view of their supportive role for their Principal Cult:

The BBC is above such petty notions as affection for the land, a place and a country. They probably have to sign a ” No patriotism ” clause when hired.
The pursuit of diversity is mandatory from all employees at all times. Overrides any consideration of reality, truth or honesty.

The Royal We
Just now on BBC News Channel Kamal Ahmed answers a few viewer questions (filtered and carefully selected by BBC editors) concerning the likely economic consequences of the Donald Trump Presidency.

Welcome. They do get released every so often. Hard to score a market rate bonus without something to show for it, so not FOI exempted.
That said, Newsnight seems a special case even in the unique BBC.
They must have blown what they saved on Paxman years ago, and Evan’s performances have not really nudged them past double digits.
It would be cheaper to do it as a travelling circus. May even get more to come. And laughs.

A few questions that require answers:
I’m sure I’ve missed some but …………..
