The BBC is very excited…there’s been a huge leak…Trump’s 12 year old, 2005 tax returns have been made public…well, parts of it…it’s their top, headlining story….

Donald Trump 2005 tax return leaked
Donald Trump Got a Big Break on 2005 Taxes
Curiously the BBC is limiting its ‘research’ to a very short story….no twitter reaction, coz MSNBC is getting spanked, no comparison with Obama coz Obama paid a rate of 19% whilst Trump paid 24%, and no link to Clinton’s comments…
Hillary Clinton speculated that one reason Donald Trump might not have released his tax returns is that “he doesn’t want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he’s paid nothing in federal taxes.”
You can bet your bottom dollar [net tax] that the BBC is scrambling hard to turn this story into a negative for Trump and is busy turning over every stone in the attempt to dig up some dirt, any dirt at all, to make Trump look bad…..just unfortunate this 12 year old tax release story doesn’t.

More Fake News from the BBC, trying to slag off The Donald (it will never miss what it perceives to be an opportunity). He actually paid 25% tax (2005) as opposed e.g.to the 13.5%
paid by Bernie Sanders for 2014.

The BBC have actually found the smoking gun.
There’s a misspelt word on line 521 of the tax return.
Over on this side of the pond it’s viewed as a massive blunder by the anti-Trump cheerleaders with ridicule and scorn being heaped upon them.

TPO,
As a former Tax Consultant, I find the BBC’s ” expertise” on this and many other matters a total joke. They are wankers .

On radio 4 this morning, seems he paid about 25% tax that year which is good enough, but the leak is ILLEGAL, will anyone be punished I wonder?

Just how grubby and unprincipled are the regressive media prepared to be in their desperation to delegitimize Trump? This is beyond contempt. The msm really are a total and utter laughing stock – FAKE NEWS all the way, every day. Even the BBC can’t find a plausible way to find fault with Trump’s tax arrangements – BUT THEY WON’T STOP TRYING.
Did they ever treat the sainted Obama to this kind of relentless sneer – even when Barry was daily murdering muslim children with his drone attacks?
I can’t write here what I really think of the msm for fear of being banned for wildly obscene and offensive language. The double standards in the msm are staggering. STAGGERING.

Obi,
Totally agree. Obama was a total fake and a fraud and the BBC did nothing to expose him. Pathetic.

The endless attacks by every organ of the BBC on every right of centre governments is balanced by the endless PR spin operations by the BBC in favour of every left of centre governments. Compare for example their reporting of (stupid and evil and nasty) Conservatives and Reagan and Trump, with their reporting of (the clever and good and saintly) New Labour and Clinton and Obama.
Scrap the BBC.

His memoirs will start with a bit about his birth date, then go right onto when he was a presidential ‘candidate’.
The intervening years won’t be mentioned of course…
Funny that!

I think that maybe even some on the left will be embarrassed by the antics of that little boy Maddow.

It’s like they are so demented in their attempts to subvert the will of the people and slag The President of the United States off they can’t even begin to think rationally. If I sent them a mars bar wrapper with ‘Trump is a fool’ written on it they would be featuring it as ‘Proof’ on the ten o clock news.

And then there’s the other thing: the organisation that’s fascinated by the tax affairs of a then private citizen a decade ago is the same one that refuses point blank to tell the full story about it’s own, publicly-funded, finances. Wouldn’t you like to know what tax rate Gary Lineker pays on his BBC earnings?

Even CNN said that it was “a good night for Trump.” The BBC has gone completely off the rails.

I think that all public service people should have to publish their tax returns and that includes Beeboids.

Trump had made more than $150 million in income in 2005 and paid $38 million in income taxes that year.
That is a tax return of 25.3%.
Frankly if I was the advisor to Trump, I would advise him to get a new tax lawyer. No billionaire pays 25%. Buffett for instance paid $1.8 million in federal income taxes in 2015 on about $11.6 million in income, for a rate of just under 16%.
What about Google – “Independent experts have suggested that Google is paying an effective tax rate on its UK profits of around 3%.”- Jeremy Corbyn, 27 January 2016
Really, for a billionaire, Trump needs to get a better tax attorney.

Lies, Statistics, and Terror
By Paul Austin Murphy
This is a complete news item from the free British newspaper Metro:
“ONE in three terror suspects arrested in Britain last year were [sic] white, figures show.
“They totalled 91 out of 260 individuals — 35 per cent — of those held on terrorism-related offences, according to the Home Office.
“It was the only ethnic group to show a rise, up from 25 per cent in 2015.
“The sharpest fall was for those of Asian ethnic appearance, down 24 to 125.” — (Metro, paper edition, March 10th, 2017.)

You’d think the BBC might remember salient precedents. In June 2011, after fighting freedom-of-information requests for more than two years, Sarah Palin published 13,000 emails from her time as Governor of Alaska. Due to the large number, the Guardian invited its readers to crawl all over them in the hope of finding something incriminating. The upshot was that nothing incriminating was found, and she was revealed to be a slightly better than competent administrator.
And in May 2015, after fighting FoI requests for more than five years, the Cabinet Office published twenty-seven of Prince Charles’s private, black-spider memos to ministers. Conspiracy theorists were less than delighted to find that twenty-six of the letters were about dry-stone walling, and one about the possible extinction of the lesser-spotted Patagonian lungfish.
It wouldn’t surprise me if fishing trips of the kind are fought by those concerned because (i) there’s a principle at stake; and (ii) if they do have to release the information, they know they’re not the ones going to look disreputable.

On sky news I’ve just seen a weird item about Trump.
There is a snoop doggy video where he assassinates Trump with a gun.
Trump tweeted about snoop doggy calling him a failing musician.
Sky news then detailed snoop doggies music sales to side with the musician and completely ignored the on screen murder.
They then said he probably leaked his own tax returns.
Tax returns they have been clamouring for but they didn’t expect Trump to have been so honest so they couldn’t slag him off.
The double standards of our media are breathtaking.
Imagine some white musician murdering Obama in a video.

I am continuing to enjoy Trump playing the hostile liberal media like a fiddle.
Leaving aside the whys and the wherefores of who leaked what and when – it is a sheer pleasure just to witness, for example, the BBC tv morning news first delivering their anti-Trump attack line and then – perforce – having to read out Trump’s own latest concise and pithy Twitter riposte. The Donald’s effort easily trumping the lame Democrat/Lefty Media/BBC line. These media jerks have had it all their own way for way too long. Keep it up Donald – it’s a master class.
If only our own Theresa May-or-is-that-May-not had the gumption to use the Trump Twitter style on the likes of La Sturgeon or Herr Juncker – it would put a stop to the BBC daily shaping the narrative.
