“Nick Clegg: Why did Ebbw Vale in Wales vote Brexit?”
Like the rest of Wales, Ebbw Vale has lost its heavy industry .
Ever since the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland joined the Common Market, Wales has seen its entire heavy industry completely decimated because of the European Union.
Thats why Mr Clegg, the Libdems are a nonentity in Wales, and thats why Welsh men and women want out!
Smell the coffee Mr Clegg, smell the coffee.

      Shwd y’ch chi taffman.

According to Sky, Welsh lamb will be subject to 50% surcharge by the EU/French.

I was in Porthgain some time ago, when the storage pots of crab and lobster were being landed. I tried to buy a lobster, without success, and assumed it was ‘cos I’m English’. Talking to one of my local mates, first language Welsh, found he had had a similar experience and pushed the point only to find that they were all sold and off to France.

To get to the point, if the surrender monkeys want to place tariffs on Welsh lamb an export tax on Welsh shellfish might cause riots in Parisian restaurants.

        Shwd wyt ti Rhif Saith.
I have hell of a job buying Welsh lamb, salt marsh or other , it all goes over to the EU. I know that there is a queue of customers in the middle east wanting our trade.
And why is N.Z. lamb cheaper than home grown ?

As I have posted here before, expect them to do their worst to scupper any chance of a safe passage out over the next two years . Like the EU, they are a corrupt and uncontrolled oligorchy.

Here is a little bit of simple mathematics….
Add the total number of English , Scottish, Irish and Welsh voters that elected to get out of the corrupt EU and compare to the total number of voters wanting to remain in the undemocratic union?
Over to you Sturgeon and Salmon .
What say you true Scots ? Are there any on this site ?

And ethnic precedence of the day? Article on an artist’s drawings of WW1 combatants starts with a “selection” of his works. Guess in which order they are presented – certainly not reflecting the actual make-up of the participants. (ps – pressed report in error, sorry)

TOADY this morning had a piece on Lloyds of London and their plans post Brexit. An apocalyptic introduction led listeners to fear that Lloyds would be moving out of London.
Despite the best efforts of the Aussie accented presenter (sorry didn’t register his name) to cajole the woman from Lloyds to rubbish Brexit, she calmly and methodically explained that:
1 – only 11% of Lloyds business is done in the EU, and nearly 50% of that will still be done from London post-Brexit
2 – Over 50% of its business is done in North America.
3 – Lloyds have decided that post-Brexit they will need to create a new office in the EU and move staff there. The breathless Aussie pounced – “now I have you he thought, mass redundancies” But no, the Lloyds woman explained, they thought the number of jobs in their new Brussels office would be in the “tens”. And that Lloyds employs thousands in total worldwide.
Interview ends, storm in the teacup calms down….

The whole of the Toady programme up to the point where I have given up, was bringing one story after another about how difficult it is going to be get the legislation to for Brexit. The Lloyds insurance CEO hadn’t been told the agenda. We are also going to have to have smaller chocolate bars, to reduce the amount of sugar children are eating. So if my recipe says 8 ounces, what am I going to do? And the Thought For The Day was a Muslim lady. Thought for the day seems to have a Muslim speaker at least once a week, but seems more. Classic FM as an alarm grows ever more likely.

Another 5 minutes on TOADY this morning about the Great Repeal Bill.
Fairly balanced overall I thought as far as presenting conflicting views, BUT I want to hear Nick Clegg interviewed to explain why he told us that the EU had little influence on our legislation when we are now being told that unravelling the tentacles of EU law will cost us billions and take up to a decade.
Over to you BBBC – let’s hear from Clegg, Osborne, if he has time, Cameron etc about how and why they lied to us.

This is the question Mole, Its shameful that every piece of European legislation since 1974 or whenever was adopted into British law via government prerogative. Now I am as far from a legal expert as little Timmy far wrong is a politician but to my mind each of these thousands of acts should have been scrutinised by the house and adopted or not based upon the benefit to the British people. I’d have expected a similar process indeed not unlike the Gina Miller funded Article 50 prevention attempts.

Clegg will fall silent on this little piece of work that needs to become undertaken, also the Beebistan will not comment as they know full well the EU have meddled in every aspect of our lives and laws for the last 40years, everything from straight bananas, to what coolant can or not be used in airconditioning systems.

What we will get is the normal headline news, the gnashing of teeth and wailing of SJWs and luvvies as odd pieces of legislation they care deeply about are consigned to history.

Weren’t we told by Nick Clegg that the great advantage of the EU is that they can, as one, negotiate for all 28 members. Now he tells us we have to negotiate separately with each member, which is it Nick ?

Cyclone Debbie: Experts fear damage to Great Barrier Reef
So let’s get this straight – cyclones are a natural weather phenomena that have occurred for the last gazillion years. I would have thought that the Barrier Reef was quite resilient to have survived for so many millions of years with all that has been thrown at it. So now, all of a sudden, ‘experts’ say cyclones damage the Great Barrier Reef. Well, my BS detector has just illuminated and made an audible alarm. So I guess that’s that. I just wish these so-called scientists would take into account the history of the earth and concede that every event we see today might just be history repeating itself rather than some dastardly scheme dreamt up by those horrible, polluting right wing activists.

There is strange but welcome conjunction in the BBC world today. On the one hand we hear that the average age of BBC consumer is now over 60 and increasing. On the other hand the BBC is increasing its already full on assault on Brexit and of course the proportion of over 60’s who voted Leave is well above the national average 52%. So delightfully the BBC’s relentless attack on Brexit and Leave voters is actually targeting those who are most likely to consume its output. Pissing off a large % of your customer base aged between sixty and seven five seems a risky policy. Of course the BBC doesn’t have customers as such but hopefully the over 60’s who voted Leave are being pushed by the BBC towards becoming ever more willing to take part in a LF strike and so demonstrate their antipathy towards the rabid corporation. Can’t the Mail , Sun or Express help to promote such a mass action?
