Queen’s Speech: Is the Queen wearing an EU hat?
The Queen has opened parliament to lay out the government’s plans for the next two years.
At the top of the agenda was Brexit, and as the monarch proposed new laws to prepare the UK for its departure from the European Union (EU), some social users couldn’t help noticing the Queen’s choice of headwear.

The people have voted – They want out! The Londoncentric media don’t like it.

You have to pay a lot of money to get EU razzmatazz . Go into a discount store and you can buy , very cheaply , English flags , trays , mugs , etc , cheap because of volume sales .
EU flags and regalia are a different matter . You either have to go to very specialised stores , or online . The stuff doesn’t seem popular .

BBC – Totally agree with you – But dont expect any “Road to Damascus” conversion from any of the main political parties.
These days Labour probably just consider the BBC to be one of their more radical arms – which just has connection to the airwaves.
But with regard to this subject most of my ire and contempt is reserved for the Tories.
That abject worm Cameron – would have been more than full aware of what the BBC has turned into and he had the ideal opportunity at the charter review to sort it – yet he was more than happy to let them continue to run around creating havoc and disinformation whilst at the same time dressing themselves up as some sort of moral/factual arbiter on the veracity of any fake news.
And it seems that Theresa has also been more than willing to let this collection of Quislings (would the plural of that be called a Clegg ) Embarrass, interfere and undermine her at every twist and turn. And yet like Clegg still she does nothing.
And nothing is what will happen. I am afraid the majority of the tories just see the BBC as part of the same machine they also work for and at the end of the day as long as the pay check is in the bank – NOTHING WILL BE DONE.
As I have said before this Government has no real “vision” Hence the term Maybot – she believes in nothing apart from power for its own sake and therefore views all the current criticism as just a minor technical issue to be ignored.

I was under the impression that the invitation for President Trump’s state visit had been endorsed by the Queen.
But it is not in the Queen’s speech and the BBC appear to be gloating.
It looks very likely that stupid Treezer has taken sides with her Toy Boy, the Emir of London, in his recent spat with Trump over security. And that she is placating Trump’s EU enemies after he dumped the Paris climate deal con trick, abd that she has given way to BBC and street mob hostility to his visit.

Got to say that I thought the same when I saw the Queens hat.
But-unlike the BBC-I`d think it a little obsessive and trivial, and a desperate need to whip up yet another hope of staying in the EU for themselves. So I `d keep such silly projections of my wishes and the Queens codes “under my hat” as it were.
Only makes me look weird and disparaging. The BBC, however have no shame, no grace or no reasoned thinking any more. It`s all too apparent now.
