Credit where credit is due, our lanky sofa jockey Dan Walker braves a storm of righteous lefty counterblast as he mildly suggests that those commentators acusing Donald Trump of ‘inciting violance against the press’ with his jokey WWF clip are perhaps experiencing a ‘sense of humour failure’.
Our Dan becomes almost herioc for a second as he goes on to expose the double standards involved in this current outrage as those same partisan commenters defended Kathy Griffin’s anti-Trump severed head photos.
Louise Munchkin’s face was a picture as she squirmed in response to Dan’s small moment of rebellion.
Careful, Dan. If a sofa eunuch shows too much cojones they’ll cut them off for real
Yes, but did they discuss WHY Trump is taking the piss out of CNN? Because I’ve yet to hear anything on British media about the admission that their Russia story was made up. Seems to me the media protecting their own.
I was watching Batman vs Superman again last night to see if it was any better on a second viewing (it wasn’t really) but I noticed just how much exposure CNN were getting in the film. Every news piece that was reported was run through CNN.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at how it was CNN pushing Lex Luthor’s fake agenda that Superman was bad. Even in a work of fiction, they were still the go to news agency to push bullshit propaganda.
Whenever I watch a big blockbuster Hollywood or mainstream film nowadays I’m always on the side of the villains. If I had gazillions of dollars I’d be scheming in a hollowed out volcano with a white cat – and I’d be fighting my own private war against the likes of Soros, The EU, UN and any amount of goody-two-shoes NGO’s that you could shake a stick at.
AsISeeIt, Aaarggghhh, BBC Breakfast will not let me watch it on iPlayer as I’m outside the UK. It also informs me that there is less than one hour left to watch yesterday’s programme.
I Googled around but cannot find the clip. Perhaps some enterprising soul can record the extraordinary evidence of a BBC employee defending Trump and plonk it on YouTube for posterity?! (We live in hope.)
You have to admire the BBC’s persistence, they never miss an opportunity to push their agenda
In a week where the BBC becomes Wimbledon-obsessed our Carol Kirkwood is sent down to SW19 to…. plug climate alarmism…. she reminisces about 2015 when apparently some record temperature was set for a July Wednesday lunchtime on Centre Court or somesuch tendentious trivia.
Stephen Hawking is celebrating his birthday and BBC chap Pallab Ghosh has a chance to ask the great theoretical physicist and cosmologist a couple of questions…
“What do you think of Brexit?” “What do you think about President Trump pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement?”
Relentless.
And do you think the BBC would have asked Hawking these questions which are outside of his field of expertise had they not approved his answers – indeed do you think they would have bothered to broadcast his answer had he not supported their approved narratives?
Got all the right qualifications, darlek voice, doesn’t need make-up, bbc certified liberal card holder, and muslim convert, ….. so universal jihad it is then.
The bBBC’s look-down-your- nose attitide to the private sector is well known and is a permanent feature of their mindset.
On Toady this morning at 0710 Mischel ‘useless’ Hussein interviewed two people about the public sector pay cap. This seems to have ll the hallmarks of an orchestrated Labour Party inspired political campaign btw.
A half-reasonable discussion followed with a few comparisons with pay in the private sector and a welcome admission that the pay cap has resulted in little or no reduction compared with the private sector.
But use the word ‘nurses’ in a debate and everyone automatically goes wooly- headed and logic goes out the window.
Thus the debate only focussed on headline pay and there was no mention of in-work benefits.
The fabulous pension deals, longer holidays, and job security in the public sector were totally left out of the discussion. Absolutely pathetic. As usual. She’s not called ‘useless’ for nothing.
Nurses, Policepersons and Firepersons do quite well in the pay stakes. The minions that do all the ‘pen-pushing’ that keeps the wheels of government, (tax collection, benefit & pension payments, purchasing, bill paying etc etc.), not so well.
Public sector broadcasters do better than MPs, who are in the ‘top 10%’. Perhaps ‘equality’ and ‘redistribution’ could start here?
>A half-reasonable discussion followed with a few comparisons with pay in the private sector<
I missed it this morning, but in what way can BBC compare public sector pay to private sector? Is the BBC leaning on its own experience, whereby £4bn of guaranteed income means they don't have to worry about such things? Even in the private sector pay differs between sub-sectors, so I often wonder about this comparison. In what way are the roles similar? In the private sector, oftentimes you don't get an automatic annual rise just for staying in a job as seems to happen in some parts of the public sector.
We don't know the answers of course, because we are never given the full facts, but these comparisons are often misleading, as are the stats given in respect of the so-called female/ male pay gap.
Don’t forget that if you pass comment or complain about the activity or lack of activity of some of these angels there will be reprisals . And they know that – which is way the power they have grows . Same with cash only locus with hooky medical dregrees – just personal experience in London.
Rob
For the record, you accurately describe my first hand personal patient experience but it goes further. Sitting at work stations and avoiding patients, as you describe, includes not signing people off efficiently to allow them home from hospital. So you bed block while waiting for someone who can be arsed to sign off your paperwork. Meanwhile in A and E people wait on trolleys in corridors waiting for a bed space, which naturally leads to bBBC Labour reports of ‘crisis and underfunding’.
If I had brains I would conclude it is all part of a deliberate tactic to demand yet more funding from a gullible public whose brains switch off when their ears register the word ‘nurses’.
The BBC is incapable of providing any objective reporting of the NHS; partly because they don’t use it, and partly because they are not capable of providing objective reporting about anything.
Strange that al beeb reporters look down their nose at the private sector since many of them are employed by their service companies to al beeb to avoid paying taxes to run their sainted NHS and aid budget .
Huge guffaw moment on the TODAY Programme this morning at approximately 7.53am. Sylvie Kauffman is the editorial director of Le Monde and took the opportunity to take a sly dig at the BBC and its querulous presenters.
“Grooming Gang Statistics
Table showing details of those jailed as members of gangs who targeted white schoolgirls for rape. Muslims are approximately 5% of the UK population, but they are 90% of those convicted for these grooming gang crimes. Here you can see not only the ages of the men, but also the towns with which their crimes were associated. When one considers that logically there must be in excess of 100,000 victims, the convictions below are the tip of a massive iceberg. Convictions are grouped by date of trial conclusion, then by town, then by surname. Norfolk’s pivotal article (2011) had around 50 convictions and this enabled a revolution in how the media responded to this phenomenon. Below there are now over 200 convictions. The name “Mohammed” (and variant names for the founder of Islam) is rendered in a bold font.

The number of girls that were sex slaved across the UK by Muslims is upwards of 30,000. If one estimates 10 men to each girl, that amounts to 300,000 Pakistani Muslims . This is virtually the entire male adult make Pakistani population. This also means that the entire community knew it – men, boys, women and imams. OTH if the victims are nearer to 100,000, then I dont know what to think. Mulims taxi drivers were heavily involved in the sex slave trade.
This treason by the authorities is of such magnitude and depravity that I’m not surprised that everyone wants to sanitise it, and sweep it under the carpet.
Meanwhile the demographic destruction of Britain looms ever nearer.
Further to your three posts, The BBC is a criminal organisation and should be prosecuted.
I don’t know what the charges could/would be. I’m not a lawyer.
But attempting (and to some extent succeeding) to whitewash a filthy cult like Islam and helping it’s adherents to continue attacks on the children of our nation is nothing short of evil. They are enablers to a nationwide child-sex ring. I know people cannot be charged with “evil” but they certainly deserve trial & tough prison sentences for something!
NCBBC: This treason by the authorities is of such magnitude and depravity….
So true. Those who enabled the mass rape of British children are practically as guilty as the rapists.
One horrific fact of war is the rape of the losers by the victors. Many of the Muslim infiltrators into Europe evidently regard their war against the people of Europe as already won as they rape their way across the continent.
The enablers of these latter-day Nazis certainly should be charged with treason.
In a rougher but more honest time they would have been put up against a wall and shot – along with the rapists themselves.
Once again my life appears to be in a parallel universe to that of the BBc. For some reason the BBc is promoting the sexual health social worker as the single handed hero of the day or that’s my perception of what I’ve seen. Everything refers to the outrage FIVE years ago. Funny then as I have mentioned before that the secret filming of Griffin had already left the rat out of the bag on grooming and other activities. It must be more than five years since the first tranche of pedos appeared in Liverpool court. However in this apparent history re-write nothing happened before five years ago. I’m sure the sky would fall in if the BBc admitted the role the “right wing” had in blowing the story open.
Meanwhile Wimbledon begins so if you don’t like tennis like me don’t bother with the BBc mind you I don’t watch much on the BBc these days at all. I’ve even stopped watching the BBc news most of the time.
It also gives links to MSM articles but the glaring and obvious truth is WHY don’t MSM link it together why is it left to the EDL???? So it can be whitewashed as far right propaganda???
“Terrified of accusations of racism, desperate not to undermine the official creed of cultural diversity, they took no action against obvious abuse.”
The men were allowed, he said, to come and go from care homes by the authorities, and if the situation had been reversed with gangs of white men preying on Muslim teenagers ”the state’s agencies would have acted with greater alacrity.”
And this is Britain in the 21st century. Makes you want to weep blood.
Not BBC but SKY TV this morning (little difference). John Nichol, Geordie and former Royal Air Force navigator, reviewing the papers. Tends to be more sensible than average. However, today he enthused about a photograph of women who have served in the armed forces over the years – fair enough. However, most of his attention was focussed on a transgender “woman”, saying how wonderful this is and how the armed forces have moved on etc etc (or words to that effect). He didn’t explain precisely what the overall benefit is.
Does he really believe this? Is it shared by former colleagues? I always thought “Don’t ask, don’t tell” was a wise way of approaching these things.
A comment about Army numbers or the size of the Navy might have been more worthwhile.
I suppose that is the sort of stuff you have to say to get your face on TV these days.
Have to say, I tend to cut John Nichol a bit of slack when I hear him talk on military matters largely on account of his experiences in the first gulf war.
John Nichol was badly tortured by the Iraqis when he was a PoW. Does he think it would be a good idea for a woman to go through that? Rape would undoubtedly be part of the torture. I would prefer to spare a British woman that sort of degradation. Am I wrong for that?
As for what the Iraqis would have made of a trans PoW, I just can’t think.
the unanimity on this “trans” nonsense across the globe and at home suggests at some level there is control being exerted.
Trying to get a position adopted in an organisation can take months of meeting and debate, yet this trans position emerged from nowhere and is now universally sold as a “good thing” by all media and other public bodies such as Police, NHS… even the church…..
One can only assume that broadcasters are being told what to say….on threat of loss of earnings and commissions and/or that they are anticipating what their crazed masters might want and are complying before being instructed.
The question for me is how do the sane combat this indoctrinated madness?
“Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui on Wednesday revealed that the court would take a decision about whether social media websites (Facebook/Twitter) in Pakistan, providing a platform to blasphemous content (no examples given, blasphemous content for ALL gods? Greek Zeus?), should be banned or not during the next hearing on March 27 (2017).” – tribune.com.pk
“We will put a responsibility on industry not to direct users – even unintentionally (how does this work? Is it if you click a link, to a link that then links to objectionable content? ) – to hate speech (not defined – do they mean blasphemous content?) , pornography, or other sources of harm (not defined. Harm to my principles? Harm my religion?).” – UK Conservative Party Manifesto, 2017 / Page 79
Correction – the BBC KNOW it is ALL about them. So you never, ever hear anything on the BBC about George Orwell, one of the best and most perceptive authors ever. No programmes, none of his stories, none of his movies, nothing.
Very 1984, in fact!
Well, to be fair, they did put up a statue of him at BBC HQ, but this did raise a bit of controversy because as far as we know Orwell strongly disliked working for the BBC.
That old quote about “If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – forever” – just replace ‘human’ with the poor taxpaying fools of the western world.
Our Governments and elites have set in motion a means by which we slowly eliminate ourselves, there’s no need for the overt jackboots and Dear Leader worship just yet.. but then give the msm and Corbyn a few more years and it’ll be the end of days for Airstrip One.
What tends to happen is that a society like that ends up as a huge ‘nomenklatura’, the insiders, the self-styled elites, essentially managing nobody.
For example, let’s assume that the government imposes a punitive tax designed to create ‘social justice’, whatever the hell that means.
The insiders don’t pay the tax, they never do; high net-worth individuals flee the country; the middle class is crushed into non-existence; and there is a huge underclass which also doesn’t pay the tax because they are the ones the tax is designed to benefit.
You end up with the Soviet Utopia, otherwise known as a soulless hellhole.
Embolden, my theory is that pressure groups and NGOs set up to push for legal equality of homosexuals have now moved on to ‘trans’ issues, now that legal parity with the former group has been achieved. Many of these will have strong backing from marxist/progressive organisations. It would perhaps been better if they had instead transferred their efforts to challenge the persecution of homosexuals in fundamentalist Islamic culture, but I think we all know that’s highly unlikely, though a few brave individuals are doing so.
Cranmer – In the game of Lefty Top Trumps, Islam trumps everything by a country mile as it is the ultimate weapon in the cultural Marxist’s arsenal (oops – nearly a mistype there) to destroy the Britain that we (just about, still) know.
With typical leftist lack of self-awareness and logic, they haven’t quite worked out the small snag in their plan: Islam, not Marxism, will ultimately govern.
Most people I worked with couldn’t give a fcuk as long as said individual could do the job. Sadly, such people invariably turned out to be the biggest group of duty dodging workshy shysters ever to wear uniform.
Over the past three months or so, I have regulated my daily “fix” of news and I can say that it is now down comfortably to the essential headlines from the BBC two, maybe, three times a day. I confess to feeling much better for it. The rare exception to my new pattern is occasionally when the move occurs directly from the headlines to the more featured so-called, “in-depth scrutiny” of a topic which is where the inbuilt, institutional BBC bias and manipulation manifests itself. I allow myself that deviation provided that the BBC don’t make their bias obvious within the first two sentences or so. Otherwise, off switch.
Today, a break with normality: I turned BBC Radio 4’s Today on at 0830 to catch the headlines. At 0840’ish one Jeremy Vine interviews a Canadian author named Naomi Klein – http://www.straight.com/news/931731/naomi-kleins-new-book-donald-trump-gets-heart-problem-billionaire-saviours
Having dramatically reduced my listening time, I cannot now comment upon all the relentless propaganda pumped out by the BBC but it appears to me that Glenfell and the GE (albeit riddled with their own commensurate forms of bias), has given the listener some respite in ‘BBC hates Trump’. What was patently obvious in the Vine/Klein interview is that both detest Trump in their overwhelming support for the Democrats and will do anything to facilitate Trumps downfall. So, discussion around impeachment and Klein thought it a good thing that the Russian investigation continues, “in the background” despite their being no evidence whatever. Trumps corporate activities similarly. What resulted? Well, the BBC will be pleased with that interview because in the propaganda department, they would consider it went rather smoothly with the superficial BBC listener having been, ‘topped-up’ with anti-Trump rhetoric enough to send him/her on their way for the day hating the evil Trump.
The politically motivated, anti-Trump fanatic and liar, Naomi Klein, is afforded space on the Today programme at regular intervals, and each time is given free rein without any proper questioning by the ‘interviewer’. This morning was no exception, with her randomly mentioning ‘climate change’, Russia connection’, ‘impeachment’ without demur from Justin Webb. Were the BBC even-handed, it would interview Sean Hannity or Mark Stein – but we’d have to wait for climate-change to make the ice-accumulating Antarctic ice-free before that happens! Btw, The Klein was doubtless delighted that the BBC provided free advertising for her new book.
The problem with limiting your fix of the BBC is that, while it may lower your blood pressure, those around you are still being indoctrinated into thinking the magic money tree is real and that Trump is a bigger danger than Islam. And outvoting you accordingly.
G,
Me too – extreme rationing now . Little al beeb news or current affairs . Barely listen to Today – which I have been with since Jack demanio days . Sad but necessary as the brutal propaganda and excluded stories – such as Islamic paedophiles – is driving me to not even listen for the bias.
There are untold thousands of “missing Muslims” in Britain. They live in illegal sublets like Grenfell Tower, and work black economy jobs. I don’t suppose they are the people this PC bullshit is concerned with.
Or indeed any religion other that the beloved Islam. Strange that the only religion which is truly evil gets so much support from the Left and the BBC. Seems like a perversion of reality to me.
Is this report including those Muslims who choose to blow themselves up or get shot dead by the police then?
Are THEY “missing Muslims” -or Paradise People?
R4 Dawkins just kicked back against BBC groupthink
Beeboid 1 : “tremendous problems in America with creationism among evangelicals”
Dawkins “With Islam it’s even worse, some evangelicals believe in Creationism, but it’s almost all Muslims “*
( by Muslims he must mean Believer-Muslim, cos many many Ethnic-Muslims seem to be atheists.)
* The same point I made to Nicky Campbell last week on Twitter last week, which caused him to block me.
It is becoming obvious that we are not only involved in group thought, but also words that group a lot of conflicting terms or ideas.
Here is where we are failing in using our language correctly. Let us take the word Muslim as an instance, you can apply this idea to different things as well, so don’t think the word “Muslim” is a special case.
If you use the word “Muslim” which of these is it?
A Muslim born in the UK?
A Muslim born outside the UK, emigrated to the UK?
A Muslim from Iran who has been raised as a child listening to Ayatollah Khomeini?
(“…There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious.”)
A Muslim from Saudi Arabia who has seen beheadings in Deera Square as a child (unsure if there are age restrictions on viewing this sort of thing)?
(After Friday prayers [Saudi Arabia,Deera Square], police and other officials clear the area to make way for the execution to take place. After the beheading of the condemned, the head is stitched to the body and the body is wrapped up for the final rites and taken away. a wiki ref)
A Muslim fighting ISIS reading the Dabiq everyday?
(ISIS Magazine. Dabiq is where Muslim and infidel forces will eventually face each other)
A Kurdish Muslim female fighter shooting ISIS soldiers?
A Muslim women being forced to stay hidden at home under a veil in a Western society?
A Muslim women free to talk in UK Parliament?
A Muslim imam preaching hate such as Anjem Choudary?
(Anjem Choudary allowed to spread hate speech 1999-2016). “..we will dominate this country (UK)” )
A Muslim from Bradford,UK who drives to Glasgow,UK to kill another Muslim (Asad Shah)?
(Tanveer Ahmed who murdered Asad Shah … shouts in courtroom “Praise for the Prophet Muhammad, there is only one Prophet!”)
A Muslim who visits Mecca,Saudi Arabia and has to leave his non-Muslim friend outside of Mecca?
(Sign on road to Mecca “Muslims Only (for Mecca in green)” “For Non Muslims (in red, not sure where you end up – scary)).
Which of these Muslims are you talking about? Just to be clear.
”Unlocking British Muslim potential for the benefit of all’ – what a load of b……cks ! Have these dickheads ever wandered around the Islamic areas of our large towns ?? Close to me is the Bury Park area in Luton – otherwise known as little Islamabad. How in God’s name are men wearing crochet caps and white frocks over their trousers, going to benefit me ??? (Although I’ve benefited them through my taxes to keep the interpreters in work) . Many of the arrested terrorists lived here, and according to reports appears to be a hotbed of ‘cells’. Driving down this main street is akin to being in a third world country, which given time the whole of the UK is rapidly becoming.
Have any of these dickheads ever wandered around muslim countries ? Are they really so stupid or are they just lying ? If so why ? Islam is an evil religion and these dhimmis are just as evil .
We’ve been here before circa 2010, does this sound like “Unlocking British Muslim potential” … Nasa must try to make Muslims ‘feel good’ (Barack Obama)
The head of the Nasa (Charles Bolden) has said Barack Obama told him to make “reaching out to the Muslim world” one of the space agency’s top priorities.
“One, he wanted me to help reinspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.” – Charles Bolden, 06 Jul 2010
Mr Obama’s space policy shift as moving “from moon landings to promoting (Muslim) self-esteem” … or “was it a shift from Science to Mecca?“
No coincidence that four of the worst ten towns to live in in the UK are Muslim majority in key areas.
Bradford, Luton , Oldham and Rochdale.
Add Slough, DEwsbury and Rotherham to that list and you`re on your way to seeing how low we`ve got.
Always wonder what Dawkins will think of in the absence of a God on his death bed.? Or whether he thinks his mortal ego trip of ridiculing faith will save him . Al beeb , being godless but for mo the paedo , bloody love him.,
Malaysians say Muslim and ID-card Muslim the latter doesn’t really believe but is not free to say so.
I use the word ethnic-muslim likewise
someone who comes from a Muslim-cultural background, but doesn’t really believe.
I have seen a couple of reports this morning that
” Downing Street is braced for a snap visit from the US president in the next two weeks.”
MSN, Sky, Metro & Evening Standard. I haven’t found anything on Beeby yet.
So the meeja is orchestrating protests. (Just in case) This Trump-hate is verging on some sort of psychosis if you ask me. As if it’s a job to be an anti-Trump protester.
They called him crazy?
It demonstrates the effect the Trump train is having on the international financing of the Marxist machine, already being deprived of billions of dollars by Deranged Donald, the more they complain, the more he is damaging their political machine and influence.
He is keeping his side of the ”deal” he did with the voters, and for that he is despised, by the Marxist’s.
It would be great to receive Trump but I can’t help expecting to be embarrassed at the antics of the left wing mobs going on a rampage at his arrival.
I’m sure the Beeb would rather he headed over to France instead but then as soon as he does, use it as ammo to beat Theresa that she is even more isolated and without any friends. No chance that they would take any responsibility for the lynch mob that they have helped whip up.
It will be interesting to see how Mr Trump is received in Poland, and how the BBC will report this, if at all. I suspect the greeting may well be ecstatic, similar to the arrival of the Pope. The BBC will probably manage to find some small group of people who dislike him, however.
The powers that be have announced that no prosecutions will be made for illegal subletting of flats in Grenfell as it is ‘not in the public interest’. I think what they mean is ‘not in the government’s interest’. If it were shown just how much illegal subletting is going on (presumably in all enriched parts of Britain), the right would criticise them for the number of illegal immigrants allowed in the country and the left would demand taxpayers’ money be spent on building better homes for them.
Why isn’t the BBC as our national broadcaster asking questions about this kind of thing, even if they did it to discredit Tory housing policy? I think they are terrified of what is called ‘victim blaming’. In cultural marxism it is verboten to say that the Grenfell tragedy might not have been so bad if only the number of people the building was designed for were living in it. But this is patently obvious; if fewer people were living there, it stands to reason fewer would have died. Yet the ‘narrative’ was already decided – the residents were innocent victims murdered by a money-grubbing Tory government.
“illegal subletting ” or more correctly Defrauding the Tax Payer
and lets be quite honest the sub letters will be making a handsome profit on this whilst no doubt collecting other benefits and most likely living in a better council houses elsewhere.
I lost all confidence in the police and “justice” system in the UK many years ago. It is not “waning”, it is dead. Yes , of course, sharia law will come sooner, rather than later. I do not think it will have to wait until muslims are a majority. Dhimmis, including the scum at the BBC will push for it long before then.
For ‘not in the government’s interest’ read ‘not in the vested interests of 600+ mps and their establishment cronies’, which just about covers the entire range of injustices discussed on this site.
Well why not let off illegal subletting and illegal migrants , and pay them £5000 , temporary accommodation in hotels and rehouse them above others ?
While we’re at it I think a burglar who was also unauthorised there lost his tools and a gang lost their pot they were growing . Reimburse them I say .
Someone suggested that TV Licensing and Capita could help identify those gone missing in the Grenfell disaster .
The BBC could reimburse the survivors licence fee .
Thought we didn`t like landlords!
Now that the BBC COULD do a piece on the Rachman evil exploitations?
They choose not to.
Guess migrant landlords are spared the lash , unlike white ones(not that we have many , unless you count Michael Meacher, Emily Thornberry and Robbie Fowler…only Robbie is a decent one, I bet)
I could take that to mean that subletting is no longer illegal. Nor is being in the country without authorisation.
Could it be that everything we once new as illegal is now legalised and we can do whatever we like no matter whom it hurts? Or is that just a guideline for Muslims?
Or is it that subletting is now legal as long as you burn your house down before they catch you out?
Trying to be optimistic for once, if the authorities can get a true picture of subletting at Grenfell Tower, it might give us a valid picture of just how much of it is going on.
It might shake the British public up to realise just how much illegal immigration there is. The official population figure of 65 million is a complete joke.
As yet, no comment from john Prescott, Ed Miliband or Caroline Lucas, let alone the EU.
All down the other end of the field at the minute, no bullhorns or court appearances for them yet at the BBC or Channel 4. Any decent political Tory would be laying into them over all this, but the Tories are cowering turds.
We need a New Nasty Party.
“Pakistani men”
“The last day of our inquiries was the 7/7 bombings.
6th July was the last day we added to our database”
“The authorities decided to drop the inquiries for fear of stirring civil unrest”
“I think its a class thing … Those working class people don’t have a voice …called prostitutes etc.”
See what happened there – “R5 soon 3 Girls Detective” – see the switch? Not “47 Innocent Rochdale Girls Raped (2008-2010)” and definitely not “1400 Innocent Rotherham Girls Raped (1997-2013)”.
Just 3 Girls now…BBC used it’s own whitewashing title to reduce the numbers and wipe the guilt, anger and hate away.
Numbers (of 3) Trumps Hate (like 1447 girls) !
He (Adil Khan/8 year sentence out in under 4 years) told the court: “They weren’t girls – they were women.”
He (Abdul Aziz/9 years out in under 4 years) ferried the girls as far as Leeds and Bradford and was paid by the stream of men (who will never be arrested) who used the girls for sex, getting £40 for each introduction.
“For the Many (who were not convicted), Not the Few (1447 who were raped)”
“Enough(47 Girls Raped?) is Enough (1400 Girls Raped?)!”
I note that a Labour MP is criticising the judge appointed to chair the inquiry into the Grenfell fire. Once again we see a special interest group claiming that it should have special treatment, in this case the right of veto , or even the power to appoint the head of an enquiry. Given the way that the politicians and media have fallen over themselves to make concession after concession to any and all of these special interest groups for the past decades , it isn’t a surprise that the leaders of these groups , often self appointed leaders at that, believe themselves to in positions of power and privilege.
Our once united ad cohesive country is slowly fracturing into a hodgepodge of groups based on ethnicity or religion or sexuality all claiming they are special . If this continues ,and how will it be stopped, the ties that bind will break and the welfare state will dissolve into nothing with who knows what consequences. All of this was entirely foreseeable but the politicians chose to do the easy thing and appease those who shouted loaders.
Of course the lobbyists were given a platform and a megaphone by the BBC. In my view the BBC has done more damage to our country than any other institution in history. The BBC are in large part responsible for the bitterness post referendum, for the inter generational strife that they are busy fanning the flames of. They have undermined British identity at every turn for forty or fifty years to such an extent that young people no longer have any respect or belief in the country. This means that they do not value Britishness and feel no sense of loss as they see it being swept away. Of course this was always the intention of the liberal left with the BBC at the spear head , to weaken the resistance of the country to changes they thought necessary to allow their radical and highly dangerous Globalist social engineering experiment any chance of what they deem to be success.
as the residents appear “interestingly” diverse, I doubt it would actually be possible to put in place a judge who had some of every ethnicity and colour flowing through there veins.
Lammy here though is just being a plain old racist
What Lammy actually said, amongst the rest of his verbal diarrhoea, was [my emphasis]
I think the victims will also say to themselves: when push comes to shove, there are some powerful people here – contractors, sub-contractors, local authorities, governments – and they look like this judge.
If I had said that my feet would not touch the ground before I was bundled into a police car to be questioned on a charge of racism.
Can you refuse entry to the Gay Pride Painted Police Car if arrested on the grounds that you are not part of the “H-” (Everyone Except Heterosexuals) club and feel that does not represent you as a minority?
Have the police just sexualised a car and promoted a single way of living your life?
Pride – a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements, the achievements of one’s close associates, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired.
“For the Many (minorities), Not the Few (majority)” – think I’m getting close to the deep meaning of this, yet to be explained by Labour Party,UK slogan!
Is this car a transvestite one?
Gender neutral, in transition? My car`s called Steve, but he cries no tears now that his windscreen washer pump is kaput.
Emotionally repressed, unable to cry.
Dare I reshape his exhaust so he`s finally what Volvo Jesus intended him to always be? A Pride Police car?
PS-this car surely couldn`t speed and give us all migraines could it?
So no use for cruising or catching the crims is it?
AND-illegal in that you can`t see out of the back window I`d have thought.
Interesting that lammy has been spouting the normal anti white prejudiced venom and not the local mp . Perhaps because her fingerprints will be found when the public inquiry plays the blame game as she was on the council before becoming the new recounted labour mp. Suppose lammy is looking for a corbyn cabinet job too – maybe culture so that he can run Albeeb as ministry of truth.
Only a policeman in uniform can stop a moving vehicle . This is because it is an offence to impersonate a police officer .
I hope some lawyer can explain about police vehicles stopping other vehicles . Is it only if they are definitely marked up as police vehicles and carry the constabulary crest ?
Now if the police aren’t going to paint their vehicles in a serious way , and look like they are clowns vehicles , do we have to stop for them ?
Our once united and cohesive country is slowly fracturing into a hodgepodge of groups based on ethnicity or religion or sexuality all claiming they are special
Not only that, they drive the agenda. One recent example was a Jewish girls’ school which failed its Ofsted inspection because it didn’t teach 3-8 year-olds about transgenderism. Funny, I can’t recall that particular educational requirement being in any party manifesto, unless it came under the catch-all of that wonderfully-named piece of Newspeak ‘social justice’.

Paxo speaks out, AT LAST! (But he prefers Channel 4?!) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4659054/Jeremy-Paxman-lays-biased-politically-correct-BBC.html
Jeremy Paxman lays into ‘biased, politically correct BBC’ as he calls for licence fee to be scrapped because ‘if Amazon and Netflix can do it, so can they’
The former Newsnight presenter, 67, said the licence fee should be abolished
He slammed the public service broadcaster for focusing on ‘the disabled Syrian refugee’ rather than examining how managing their needs could affect taxpayers
In an interview with the Sunday Times Magazine, he said that although he still thought the BBC was a a good thing, he now much prefers Channel 4
Rochdale grooming prosecutor Nazir Afzal calls on Muslims to ‘stop blaming the victims of child sex abuse’
An important speech by the head of the CPS in the North West, but it appeared in the Daily Mail, and it isn’t what the BBC want the public to hear so it hasn’t bothered reporting it.
“Writing for the Mail on Sunday Mr Afzal said: “There are parts of our country now where violent misogyny is equally accepted and even celebrated. What worries me is that these are largely Asian areas with little appetite in the community to do anything about it.
“There’s no escaping the fact that Asian and Pakistani men are disproportionately involved in localised street grooming of vulnerable young girls. Our jails are filling up with Muslim prisoners and yet the crimes they’re committing have become a taboo subject.”
Mr Afzal says he has tried to engage with Muslim audiences to talk about how to deal with these crimes, but doing so is ‘frustratingly difficult’.
He added that there is ‘sterling work’ being carried out in the Asian community to challenge misogynistic views, ‘but too frequently those groups making a real difference exist without much support from the wider community’.
“So-called Muslim community leaders would prefer these issues were ignored,” he said.
“It sickens me that there are people in the Asian community who don’t want women to be empowered, they don’t want women to support each other and would prefer women to be oppressed and do what men want them to do,” he said.
“Forcing the Muslim community to do more to deal with these problems as to be the starting point to drove grooming gangs out of existence.”
It’s what many of us have been saying for years, but the Fascist (il)liberal Left have stuck their collective fingers in their ears and are shouting LA LA LA very loudly.
While Moffat admitted that the idea was just “email lunacy,” he also called for a societal change as a result of his experience talking about the character’s gender.
“We have to ban gender pronouns. I can no longer talk about the character of the Master ‘slash’ Missy without having to go ‘slash.’ It’s exhausting,” Moffat complained. “Let’s just rid of them. It’s a stupid idea in the first place. What do we need them for?”
The bBC and its left wing agenda: Do passports restrict economic growth? Some economists calculate global economic output would double if anyone could get on their bikes to work anywhere. That suggests today’s world would be much richer if passports had died out in the early 20th Century.
Funny enough the bBC, leaves out of its open door policy , the most important aspect of issuing passports: consular access .
“”What would we English say if we could not go from London to the Crystal Palace or from Manchester to Stockport without a passport or police officer at our heels? Depend upon it, we are not half enough grateful to God for our national privileges.””
Thanks to nearly open borders I need a passport to travel by air within my own country.
I am ot sure about this idea ‘if passports had died out in the early 20th century.’ Talk about history being rewritten. What effect would passports had for the Nazis walking into other countries or the ajews trying to flee. The BBC has no concept of history.
The bBC and its promotion of the rise of mob mentality in the UK by reporting fake news (Its not even news) Baby Dove adverts criticised over breastfeeding stance
Skincare brand Baby Dove has been criticised by mums who say the company’s new adverts support those who oppose breastfeeding in public. One advert says “75% say breastfeeding in public is fine, 25% say put them away. What’s your way?”. “Unmumsy mum” blogger Sarah Turner said supporting the “dangerous” view could put mums off breastfeeding in public. The Advertising Standards Authority has received 110 complaints. The BBC has contacted Baby Dove.
“No woman should be made to feel ashamed for feeding their baby in public,” Ms Turner wrote in an open letter to Dove.
Any of the C.S. at the bBC want to explain how a 25% statistic against Breast feeding represents a larger majority than the 75% who are for it.
Pounce – “Any of the C.S. at the bBC want to explain how a 25% statistic against Breast feeding represents a larger majority than the 75% who are for it.”
Well the 48% who voted “Remain” represents a larger majority than the 52% who voted “Brexit” I suppose.
BBC in Wonderland as always.
Hi Pounce, I wonder how many of those 110 complaints are from feminist activists, BBC journalists, spouses and friends. The way the BBC are going absolutely bananas in headlining this – it’s on the BBC homepage, the BBC news homepage, the BBC UK news homepage – demonstrates this story falls into one of their high priority agenda categories. They are scouring facebook and twitter for the usual feminist nutter posts and presenting them as typical and normal.
The bBC and its coverage on the attempts to murder 2 different Presidents: US President: Trump suspect Michael Sandford was a ‘very quiet lad’
According to the bBC , Micheal Sanford who tried to grab a policeman’s gun at a trump rally was shy, reserved, a good lad, had Aspergers, had been blackmailed, had been put up to it, got on well with his mum, It’s so against his nature , feared President Trump might seek to intervene and keep him in jail for longer, or block his return to the UK.claimed Trump-supporting guards and inmates had been making his life a misery.
In otherwords he can only be a victim. French President Emmanuel Macron: Man charged with plotting to kill French president A suspected far-right extremist has been charged with plotting to kill French President Emmanuel Macron at the Bastille Day parade later this month.
According to the bBC this evil man told police he wanted to attack “Muslims, Jews, blacks, homosexuals”, was convicted last year of condoning terrorism after praising Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in July 2011. He was jailed for three years with half the sentence suspended.
In others a nasty piece of work and not a victim.
The bBC promoting its leftwing bent as only it can.
The BBC is obviously on alert in case President Trump comes to the UK. No doubt it will be whipping up the Owen Jones mob .
What the BBc ignores is that the President is going to Poland first and Poland is firmly on the side of reality in the immigrant crisis threatening Europe. Then to France which as always is keen to put us in our place and looks this time to have succeeded.
The President would be well advised to make it clear that this country is at the moment in the grip of some sort of progressive lunacy led by middle class academia and media abetted by the BBC and C4. That all visits will be cancelled unless of a minor nature by him and other administration people. That we are to be considered unreliable now as an ally .
So lunatic now is the behaviour of our media and our so called educated classes that this is needed to try and get through to the majority of us that we really are on the verge of descending into ungovernable idiocy .

Seems to me like another deliberate attempt to stick up two fingers at anything traditionally European.
I’ve nothing whatsoever against TJ, but he doesn’t belong there. Not very clever, either, to water down the sort of event that is often used by the BBC to justify its licence fee.
The BBC’s objective is ultimately to remove all western classical music from the proms. Just look at how the “Last Night ” has been watered down in recent years . I don’t even watch it now. Thank God the bastards can’t get their hands on the New Year’s Day concert from Vienna. Imagine what the cnuts would do with that !
Vienna is traditional to a fault. Mind you, very little surprises me these days.
Another moan – I checked which Prom concerts are being televised. Guess what – without actually checking on a concert-by-concert basis, it seems that every non classical Proms concert is being televised. Since there is little classical anything on TV these days, and classical concerts are not always accessible to everyone, especially the large scale expensive stuff, would it be too much to ask to concentrate on the classical concerts for a few weeks?
Good point. I remember many years ago there were some great concerts and programmes about classical music on the BBC. Nothing now. And I am not a classical snob. I like many kinds of music. Back in may , in Gambia, I was even dancing to reggae, much to the amusement of the locals !
“And I am not a classical snob. I like many kinds of music.”
You don’t need to be defensive, it only encourages inverted snobbery I think.
I don’t believe it’s instrinsically snobbish to prefer one kind of music. All types of music have their fans, and they all have their reasons, but it only seems to be classical fans who are expected to defend their choice before they’ve even expressed an opinion on another genre. Certain things are given higher priority in classical music. The same can be said for jazz. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
If you really want to attract vitriol, listen to the “wrong” type of pop/rock.
Tried to get Proms tickets for the ones they are doing in Hull. Access to anything other than the 12.30 concert was so well hidden that it took me 10 minutes to find the link by which time all tickets sold out. Then a friend in Hull told me they had all been sold out anyway for weeks i.e. weeks before they had gone on sale. Presume they were handed out like sweeties by the BBC to their friends and relations i.e. left leaning luvvies.
A friend went to the Last Night a couple of years ago on a free ticket. Her relation is in ‘The Arts’ and had been given some by the BBC. Remember that the money for all these tickets is paid for us, the license payer.
J, “Since there is little classical anything on TV these days, and classical concerts are not always accessible to everyone, especially the large scale expensive stuff, would it be too much to ask to concentrate on the classical concerts for a few weeks?”
Agree but on radio there will not be the BBC’s versions of the view they want you to see so … almost as good?
However, I would argue that R3 is for more serious listeners. TV has the potential to reach people who have never been to a concert.
As Grant says, there were some great concerts and programmes about classical music on the BBC. I remember “Andre Previn’s Music Night” in the late 1970s. Straightforward music programming without irritating, unnecessary TV “personalities” getting in the way, or patronising explanations.
Then there was the music quiz “Face the Music”.
They seem a million miles away now. What the hell am I paying for these days?
Tabs has it right, you are paying for dumbing down.
In a way, it is very strange of the BBC to do this. You would think that in their current full-on EU Remain mode, that they would be keen on Bach, Beethoven, Debussy, Dvorak, Handel, Mendlessohn, Mozart, Schumann, Strauss, Stravinsky and Verdi et al. A celebration of the great things that Europe has given us. Oops! Silly me! All before the EU existed. Just doesn’t count! And all white men, with the occasional white woman in there, too. So that is just not diverse enough for the BBC.
Instead the BBC goes after populism or, at least, popularism, no doubt in a desire for gaining younger listeners. Now, I’m all for a Prom for classic film music scores or for listening to a Youth Orchestra from favela somewhere. But as novelty or ‘filler’. Not as in every week, two or three times a week in a park somewhere, all on the Licence Fee.
I guess that’s what it’s about really. Trying to win over the youth, to become indispensible to them, just to gain their loyalty (bit like the EU) ….. and their future Licence Fee money. While doing some propaganda as well.
Dangerous game, BBC.
In this digital day and age, the kids expect it all for free. They listen to world music including the classic orchestral compositions and hymns and jazz and 60s and 70s Pop & Rock and post glowing tributes on-line while complaining about the paucity of what their near contemporaries offer them.
So then dear BBC; how about a bit of educate and inform to go with the entertainment instead?
Face the Music! Oh, those were the days! Joseph, why did you have to remind me? My eyes are welling up with tears of nostalgia. Such a civilised programme. Quintessentially British but not in a narrow sense – it was always welcoming foreign guests and celebrating great music whatever its origins. Joseph Cooper – so brilliant yet so urbane and modest. Robin Ray’s knowledge was astounding. The dummy keyboard – I loved that round.
Ah I look forward to the great tradition of the proms, eu flags waving along with red flags with a smiling ever youthful comrade corbyn and president Abbot , flags of all nations and even one Union Jack – what a wonderful multiculural treat courtesy of our favourite monopoly state broadcaster.
Since when has the music been the priority of the BBC ? The Proms featured lefty loony Daniel Barenboim and his politics was given priority over the music. The BBC’s agenda holds sway over the wishes of music lovers.
I like Barenboim and think he is a good conductor. At least his politics tends to come with good intentions, and that’s more than can be said for most lefties in the arts, especially the “B”BC.
Nice to see the Beeb pushing their feminist agenda by reporting on Michelle Rodriguez threatening to leave the franchise if female characters aren’t treated better. But there are – there all plenty of women in the film filling important roles. Yes, there might be some providing the Max Power stereotype bikini clad girls with the requisite hot guys but what’s wrong with that.
Maybe Michelle could acknowledge that without the efforts of the male actors such as Vin Diesel and Paul Walker who kept the franchise going in the early days or the injection of new blood with The Rock and Jason Statham, the franchise might not be continuing to make her a steady income.
The reality that her fragile ego couldn’t handle is that she could leave the franchise and we wouldn’t really care.

Think we`ll find that the BBC will accuse Trump of picking one mainly Muslim Majority country (us) over all those who are vibrant democracies like Yemen and Libya.
No matter what Trump does, he`s hated. This will be “patronising” or “anti-assisted dying” or “anti-feminist”…take your pick.
Only hope that he pops in to say hello, if Macron thinks he`s groovy then why not the BBC?
Besides-if Trump tells us when he`s coming, then all the public sector loafers can put in for a days unpaid leave huh?
A few days ago I recommended the commentator Alex Deane and some of you put up a couple of his appearances.
He’s just been on sky news with some lass who says the public sector all deserve pay rises and he wiped the floor with her.
He counters all the lefts wild claims with facts and gets the point across clearly and effectively.
He’s a bit like JRM.
I hope we see much more of him as he’s highly impressive.
One thing the girl said about public pay lagging private pay and calling Alex out of date with his facts was instantly demolished by him. He pulled out his phone and showed the BBC’s own fact checker site proving him correct and it was half an hour old, definitely not out of date.
He also doesn’t let the lefties get away with their throwaway remarks which until now we’re never challenged. He immediately debunks them and does so on this occasion as well.
I’m sure someone knows how to put this ‘debate’ up on here. It was on sky news about 1630’ish.
It’s a treat to watch.
On YouTube you can put his name in the search box and some earlier interviews come up.
They leave you with the opposite kind of feeling that the usual biased interview gives.
A blood pressure dropper.
If he keeps on making fools of them all it wouldn’t surprise me if they steered clear of him.
All he has to do is tell the truth and he does it so well.

On the BBC World News homepage they have in one of their minor placement positions the headline: “Bangladeshi human rights activist missing” 1 hour ago Asia. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world
Go to the BBC Asia News homepage – and the story is not headlined at all – it is entirely missing. Instead it is the usual anti-India stories they run. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world/asia
So click on the Bangladeshi story and it is a very short article on the fact that a human rights activist in Bangladesh has been kidnapped and that there is a rapid rise in the number of human rights activists in Bangladesh going missing and ending up dead. But of course you would hardly realise this from the BBC because of the way they downplay all criticism of Bangladesh and Pakistan. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-40484902
The BBC’s pro-to neutral Pakistan stance, pro to neutral Bangladesh stance, the hysterically anti to neutral Indian stance is obvious. It would be nice to know if there are any Indian (non-Muslim) heritage people on this site who have also noticed this – the more people recognising the BBC bias the better. From February to May I took regular screen captures of the BBC’s world, Asian and indian news homepages – and even a cursory glance reveals an obvious bias in the stories covered.
Or how the UK has allowed Islam to introduce, unopposed, religious practices and customs that are taking us backwards and turning it into a third world country.
A story in the making which we all believed was going to come after the election anyway, but is currently being ignored by the BBC.
A New Labour party Chairman has been elected, Ian Lavery who has made the following ominous statement:
“Labour is ‘too broad a church’ and MPs could face deselection. ”
Mr Lavery, who helped orchestrate Labour’s election campaign, has sparked fears of a purge against the party’s moderates.
He said: ‘We are a broad church. Some might argue, and I would be one of them, that we might be too broad a church.
In an interview with the Huffington Post published at the weekend, he warned that no Labour MP has a ‘divine right’ to keep their seat.
And he warned the Labour Party’s structures face being overhauled and that he will look at ‘different ways and means’ for selecting would-be MPs.
He promised that the party’s membership will be central to deciding what Labour candidates to select and keep.
It would appear that this is a signal that the so called ‘moderate’ Labour MPs are facing deselection and the parties membership which will have that central say will very likely be momentum as Labour lurch ever further to the left, perhaps this time irreversibly. The formation of a new party as per the SDP which happened last time Labour did this appears unlikely as the Tory party now occupy the ground Nu Liebour & Tony Bliar once held.
Personally lads, I`d infiltrate to ensure that the “moderate left”-Pink Tories-ARE deselected.
At least Corbyn`s thick and charisma free…really need to hound the likes of Umuna and Harman, Jowell and Benn Junior out of that party we all love eh?
Intend to stir up a bit at Tolpuddle in a few weeks time. Time to push them into madness before the BBC etc let them in with the help of the likes of Soubry and Morgan.
Drive a Deep Red Wedge between the lefty scum.
Yep Labour Party conference. No trident no NATO. Spend the money on lovely nurses. Down goes the pound . Up goes int rates and inflation and petrol and recession and 4 years of corbyn blaming the tories with albeeb as his bitch. Please let me be wrong.
Fedup wrote: Yep Labour Party conference. No trident no NATO. Spend the money on lovely nurses.
Actually under Labour we got Operation Trident (Set up in 1998 to tackle gun crime and homicide in London’s Afro-Caribbean communities)
Pounce, if income tax needs to go up to pay the nurses and all the others who ‘work hard’ (as opposed to all the other workers who must be taking it easy) then if they get a 2-3% rise it will disappear with a penny or two on income tax (or whatever else has to go up to pay it)
If nurses can’t manage on a starting pay of £23,652 outside of London, how do pensioners manage on less than a third of that or others on minimum wage at a half of that.
Continuing on the Rochdale grooming theme, from the BBC’s ‘Don’t Think We Can Avoid Reporting This Any Longer But Make Sure We Put Our Own Spin On It’ dept……
Headliner on North West News at lunchtime was the staggering revelation of claims that victims’ complaints had been ignored, delivered by our BBC anchorman with a face straighter than any poker adorning the Titanic’s boiler room.
Followed by a half-hearted interview with Rochdale Council’s spokesman who told us ‘lessons have been learned’. The most challenging question thrown at him by our fearless interviewer was that the authorities had accused the girls of inviting the abuse. No mention of Plod or Social Services being driven by Political Correctness, ‘cultural cohesion’ or Muslims somehow being above any kind of criticism, let alone the law. He also asked how do we know it isn’t still going on (note to BBC: why don’t you send some of your world-beating investigative journalists to go and find out??) – and meekly accepted the mealy-mouthed reply.
Is this the BBC revered and respected by most of the British people (shrinking by the day, fortunately) for its peerless investigative journalism, impartiality and honesty?
No, it’s Jeremy’s friends – the Buggering up Britain Campaign.
The bBC knocks out a article which imparts if you know where to look you can find relics from the time the British ruled there. So we have street names, post boxes and city boundary posts . However the impression given is that like the signs of Roman life in the Uk, you really have to go out of your way in which to find it. Utter tosh:
When you fly into Hong Kong you land at Hong Kong International Airport built by the British before we left.
Catch a tram, cross on the star ferry or even catch the train upto the Peak and you use transport links built by the British.
Go to the races, travel through the tunnel next to the race ground to Aberdeen (not a street name) and you will see things the British built. Back to central (by catching a bus) and on a Sunday you will see all the Filipino girls camped out around Statue Square. Very British, just around the corner you will find the old Prince of Wales Building you’ll recognise it as it is very distinctive. (looks alike an upside down gin bottle).
Hong Kong 7s
The remains of the Queen Elizabeth are in Hong Kong Harbour
finally there is Chungking Mansions (anybody who has been to Hong kong will know where I am coming from)
Yes Hong Kong is changing and it is taking on a new identity , the thing is so are: London,Bradford, Luton, Manchester, Blackburn, Leicester , Slough, Blackburn. I wonder why the bBC doesn’t mention them when knocking out a story about signs of the British Empire? The bBC, the traitors within our midst
And Hong Kong makes it quite clear where islam gets off too with its Indonesian maids.
No favoured status there-work, pay your pittance in taxes and don`t think of staying here for ever-it`s overcrowded as it is. And what I loved best is the lack of bloody disability scooters-the infirm stayed up in their high rises, but had relatives to look after them so were happy enough.
Great place, great people and will see out the Chinese yet because freedom can be contained but can`t be snuffed out. Unless you`ve got Islam and an idiot Left with its godforsaken BBC that is.
Biased BBC1 6pm ‘news’ aka public sector pay cap abolition pressure group.
Kamal Ahmed tells us there are two key numbers
1. 1% (pay cap)
2. 2.9% (inflation rate)
He then suggests private sector pay is rising at 3.3% (news to me)
But the numbers he misses are the same figures for say the last 5+ years and crucually the reduction in 15 year bond yields. The latter is closely related to annuity rates and shows the additional benefit to those with salary based pension entitlement (public sector) over those with defined.contribution based pensions (private sector).
This careful selectivity is what gives Fake News a bad name.
Pay analysts Incomes Data Services said increases in private firms were running slightly ahead of those in the public sector.
Public sector increases in April ranged from 2.9% for teachers in England and Wales to 4% for local government workers in Scotland.
“This careful selectivity is what gives Fake News a bad name.”
And whilst Al Beeb is happy to report fulsomely on the Unite-fomented BoE strike, they never mention that The Old Lady’s pension scheme to which the strikers belong is not only inflation-proof it is, literally, gold-plated because it is mostly invested in gold and index-linked gilts.
Is this the stage beyond Fake News?
Reading this article on the BBC website, part of their “Canada is Great because it’s not the USA and Nothing to do with Donald Trump” series, I was greatly puzzled. It’s sort of like a stage beyond fake news, a parody of parody, and gives the impression of having been written by a BBC editor who’d been smoking funny stuff at Glastonbury. Oh, Monty Python and The Lumberjack Song – where are you now when we need you? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40480386
bBC and fake news: Chris Christie, New Jersey governor, enjoys beach he closed to public New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is facing heavy criticism after he was photographed relaxing on a state beach he had ordered closed to the public. The Republican gave the go-ahead for non-essential services to be shut down – including the Island State Beach Park – over the 4 July holiday weekend because of a budget impasse.
The way the bBC presents this story is that Christie closed down the beach so he could have some time on the beach free from the plebs. Yet that isn’t true. To gain access to Island State Beach Park you have to enter through a manned gate. http://www.striperspace.com/large_ruts.html
However if you live on the Island, you aren’t far from the beach. In fact the bBC photo shows that the Governors home is on the beach (as are two other homes behind him) the place where all the tourists go is around a couple of miles down the road. Huge car parks. The beaches off the towns were still open. Just the public beach was closed. in otherwords a fake story which attacks the republicans as that is all the left know what to do.
I heard this on PM Pounce.
Over five minutes worth, the NJ hack confirming that Christie had told them all last week that he`d be on the beach that was within his Governor compound. So how and why they flew over it to try to embarrass a Trump supporter makes this yet another fly over banner for the Democrats and the BBC.
Our NJ friends need to know that the BBC and helicopter news efforts can cost them dearly. Hope Cliff is running the meter on how much the BBC should pay for what they did to him in 2014. THis is NOT a story.
But the BBC seem entitled to run any old crap and call it news.
I refer you to five minutes of Todays piece on Morrisseys film at 8.20 this morning. This is not news.
Still at least he agrees with Brexit and doesn`t rate the Chinese…don`t tell the BBC though eh?
Excellent Pounce. Sometimes it is not clear how the BBC have manipulated a story. The trouble is the BBC are so big, they run so many stories, on so many different channels and associated networks and they use all the latest propaganda and misdirection tactics it is impossible to keep up with them.
That is why we need as many people on side as possible – including former BBC people like Jeremy Paxman – if they want to turn turncoat against the BBC – then their input, knowledge, and influence should not be turned down. The past is the past – it’s the present and future we need to worry about.
“The way the bBC presents this story is that Christie closed down the beach so he could have some time on the beach free from the plebs.”
Erm, no it isn’t:
“The Republican gave the go-ahead for non-essential services to be shut down – including the Island State Beach Park – over the 4 July holiday weekend because of a budget impasse.”
“…he intended to spend time with his family at his beach property. ‘The governor is allowed to go to his residences,’ he said.”
“Mr Christie said his family was spending the weekend at the governor’s residence…”
“‘That’s just the way it goes. Run for governor, and you have can have a residence there,’…”
“In fact the bBC photo shows that the Governors home is on the beach..”
_
“bBC and fake news:
‘New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is facing heavy criticism after he was photographed relaxing on a state beach he had ordered closed to the public.’”
How is it “fake news”? Has Chris Christie not faced heavy criticism?
I’m all in favour of Open Borders but only if every country in the world does them and at the same time. I would certainly welcome the opportunity to live, work and retire wherever I choose.
Realistically, it is not going to happen for a very, very, very long time, if at all.
The UK cannot continue to soak up the skilled and unskilled from around the globe, whether temporary or permanent, in an obscene modern Imperialist manner in order become a big empire again, but of just four ‘home’ nations. Those days are gone.
We have to first look after the people we now have, with adequate transport systems, housing, healthcare and education. Then we can take down the Full & Closed sign – for refugees first and after them, maybe some others.
We have new towns and cities to build, schools and Universities to get into shape for two-way trade with the whole world, not just bleeding other nations dry for our selfish advantage.
“In China and Japan, foreigners needed passports only to venture inland.”
Japan in particular seems to have tweaked that policy a little.
“When the body of three-year-old Aylan Kurdi washed up on a Turkish beach …….. The Kurdis hadn’t planned to stay in Greece. They hoped eventually to start a new life in Vancouver”
So Greece wasn’t safe enough? I’m feeling increasingly unsafe here and rather fancy Bermuda.
Ahh here we go:
“Donald Trump calls for a wall along the US-Mexico border. ”
And just for the sake of completeness, throw in:
“Norman Tebbit notoriously suggested – or was widely interpreted as suggesting – that the jobless should “get on their bikes” to look for work. ”
“notoriously” – says who? (As it happens, I took a train.)
The bBC reports on the shortcomings (and abuse) of state child care in Jersey from 1940 onwards: Jersey abuse inquiry: Children ‘still at risk’
Reading through the report I came across this: Found at Para 3.3 (page 5) “La Preference was originally run by the Vegetarian Society from 1951 to 1984. All children admitted in this period had to adopt a vegetarian diet and lifestyle, regardless of their preferences, and the Inquiry heard evidence of children being punished for eating meat products.”
I wonder why the bBC left that out.
Hope that the Channel Islands don`t fall for some BBC Newsround kind of look into how children are not getting access to care homes.
The BBC are just the sort who WOULD go to the Channel Islands for such reasons-and they have been proved to have employed enough paedos for me to not trust them one jot.
Is it possible the skin colour and religion of the offenders was the same as the victims?
Do you have any slight qualms that literally thousands of white British girls have been raped systematically by gangs of Pakistani muslim men? Do you not think that that is a salient fact?
#BetrayedGirls 9:04pm crucial point is when @mshafiquk came on and said
“Nothing in my faith that justifies these despicable crimes”
“our silence was allowing the BNP to continue”
“I went to our community in Keighly, Bradford Rochdale, but no one would speak up
..they all said it’s a BNP thing”
BTW MO Shaf just called Tommy Robinson a “Fascist Hater” on twitter screenshot
Not realising how that sounds … that Tommy “Hates fascists” more
““Nothing in my faith that justifies these despicable crimes”
….apart from the fact that their “perfect” prophet whom they all endeavour to emulate had sex with his 9 year old wife who he married at 6 years old? No hint of paedophilia connected to Islam there then!
Why do they continue to perpetuate this blatant lie!
Shafiq not all that sharp he just Tweeted about child abuse “On the Isle of Wight”
..Well I guess to him “all Wight people look the same , even if they are from Jersey ..where the actual children’s home abuse took place
“The Betrayed Girls” on BBC1. Instead of highlighting the fact that this is a Muslim issue the BBC are typically banging on about the BNP “using the opportunity to stir up racial hatred….”

Eighteen dead and 30 injured after tourist coach crashes and bursts into flames on German autobahn
The cause of the fire is unknown. Traffic was reportedly moving slowly at the time and the collision between the two vehicles was not described as a major crash.
Echos of Grenfell? Loads of combustible material that no one thought would catch fire

BBC Website reports that Justin Trudeau ( Idiot PM of Canada ) made a speech mentioning all the Canadian provinces except Alberta. There are only 13 in total . Even Obama was not that stupid. Amazing !!
New Kensington and Chelsea council leader issues grovelling apology.
Get ready for a large queue of lawyers ready to exact blank cheques for all those doctors and engineers who survived the Grenfell tower fire but were given ‘poor service’ in the aftermath.
I don’t suppose the taxpayers get a say in all this ?
No, I thought not.
And just in case you thought I was being excessive, we hear that in Croydon, leaseholders who have exercised a right to buy the lease of their property apparently expect the council to pay for internal fire safety in their apartments.
How I wish I could get the taxpayer to pay for improvements to my house, but then I’m just a sucker owner-occupier.
But, as Jeremy Paxman has noted, the interests of taxpayers get very short shrift in collectivist socialist bBBC circles.

Revolt of the drones ?

They’re best dealt with by mocking on social media.

And do you think the BBC would have asked Hawking these questions which are outside of his field of expertise had they not approved his answers – indeed do you think they would have bothered to broadcast his answer had he not supported their approved narratives?

So the beebistan are to air a follow-on documentary on Pakistani muslim sex gangs called The Betrayed Girls.
No doubt they’ll be blaming everyone except the Pakistani muslim perpetrators.
I wonder if they’ll reveal the full scale of the abuse? Some stats below, which are only the tip of the iceberg.
http://www.pmclauth.com/sentenced/Grooming-Gang-Statistics/Gangs-Jailed

Thank you for the link

Charlie, NCBBC & Stew,
Further to your three posts, The BBC is a criminal organisation and should be prosecuted.

I also find this article horrendous as it just seems to go on and on
http://www.englishdefenceleague.org.uk/islam/grooming-gangs/
It also gives links to MSM articles but the glaring and obvious truth is WHY don’t MSM link it together why is it left to the EDL???? So it can be whitewashed as far right propaganda???

Also linked from that article:

Joseph,
Have to say, I tend to cut John Nichol a bit of slack when I hear him talk on military matters largely on account of his experiences in the first gulf war.

I have seen a couple of reports this morning that
” Downing Street is braced for a snap visit from the US president in the next two weeks.”
MSN, Sky, Metro & Evening Standard. I haven’t found anything on Beeby yet.
“Donald Trump: Protesters urged to be ‘on standby’ amid reports of surprise visit of US President”
http://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/donald-trump-protesters-urged-to-be-on-standby-amid-reports-of-surprise-visit-of-us-president-a3578031.html

I lost all confidence in the police and “justice” system in the UK many years ago. It is not “waning”, it is dead. Yes , of course, sharia law will come sooner, rather than later.

Not only that, they drive the agenda. One recent example was a Jewish girls’ school which failed its Ofsted inspection because it didn’t teach 3-8 year-olds about transgenderism. Funny, I can’t recall that particular educational requirement being in any party manifesto, unless it came under the catch-all of that wonderfully-named piece of Newspeak ‘social justice’.

“We have to ban gender pronouns. I can no longer talk about the character of the Master ‘slash’ Missy without having to go ‘slash.’ It’s exhausting,” Moffat complained. “Let’s just rid of them. It’s a stupid idea in the first place. What do we need them for?”

The bBC and its left wing agenda:
Do passports restrict economic growth?
Some economists calculate global economic output would double if anyone could get on their bikes to work anywhere. That suggests today’s world would be much richer if passports had died out in the early 20th Century.
Funny enough the bBC, leaves out of its open door policy , the most important aspect of issuing passports: consular access .

I am ot sure about this idea ‘if passports had died out in the early 20th century.’ Talk about history being rewritten. What effect would passports had for the Nazis walking into other countries or the ajews trying to flee. The BBC has no concept of history.

French President
Emmanuel Macron: Man charged with plotting to kill French president
A suspected far-right extremist has been charged with plotting to kill French President Emmanuel Macron at the Bastille Day parade later this month.
According to the bBC this evil man
told police he wanted to attack “Muslims, Jews, blacks, homosexuals”, was convicted last year of condoning terrorism after praising Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in July 2011. He was jailed for three years with half the sentence suspended.
In others a nasty piece of work and not a victim.

Joseph,
The BBC’s objective is ultimately to remove all western classical music from the proms.

Joseph,

Classical concerts are elitist because they can only be afforded by those with loads of money, goes the leftist narrative.
Despite most costing less than the admission price for a Liverpool home game.

Agree but on radio there will not be the BBC’s versions of the view they want you to see so … almost as good?
Better, perhaps?

True.

J, “What the hell am I paying for these days?”

When the BBC used to report on itself (self critical)- can’t find anything after 2009 on bbc.co.uk site for a similar update on expenses. At-a-glance: BBC executive expenses – 2009 (brought on by MP Expense Scandal)
Mark Thompson, Director General – £2,236.90 Flight from family holiday in Sicily, Italy to deal with the row over lewd calls made to actor Andrew Sachs on Russell Brand’s Radio 2 show. [30/08/08]
Or the BBC license fee payer paid £2,236 for a flight (private jet) to tell two children off (Brand/Ross) who should know better.
“In an email to staff, Mr Thompson said: ‘I don’t underestimate the extent to which this may feel uncomfortable for individuals,’ Mr Thompson (Director General BBC) said in the email (but possibly continued spending anyway).”
Oh, hold on 7 years later “Seven top BBC executives who have either left the BBC or announced their decision to do so ran up expenses of £25,000 in the last six months of 2015. (Wendy Darke £11K) [Apr 2016]”
For the Many (BBC 51% salaries 2015 > £100K), Not the Few (BBC 49% salaries 2015 < £100K)
The next most top salary heavy division was finance and operations, which includes Yentob, where 46 of 90 senior managers (51%) are paid more than £100,000. [Oct 2015]
Mark Thompson, Directory General BBC, 2004 – 2012 Expenses
Salary: £613,000
Total remuneration: £622,000
Maybe the BBC for 2017 should do an update on the ‘Expenses Scandals’ in both the BBC World and Political World?

This is one example of the BBC bias in action.

It looks like the putsch is on. Any Labour “moderates” need to look up “show trials” to see how this ends.

The bBC and its leftwing agenda:
Hong Kong’s hidden colonial relics and where to find them
The bBC knocks out a article which imparts if you know where to look you can find relics from the time the British ruled there.

Oh, Monty Python and The Lumberjack Song – where are you now when we need you?

bBC and fake news:
Chris Christie, New Jersey governor, enjoys beach he closed to public
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is facing heavy criticism after he was photographed relaxing on a state beach he had ordered closed to the public.

Un-bloody-believable.

The bBC reports on the shortcomings (and abuse) of state child care in Jersey from 1940 onwards:
Jersey abuse inquiry: Children ‘still at risk’
Reading through the report I came across this: Found at Para 3.3 (page 5)
“La Preference was originally run by the Vegetarian Society from 1951 to 1984.
