The BBC broadcasts a ‘controversial’ point of view but unlike so many others this one comes with a health warning…
Don’t get such warnings about other ‘controversial’ views that the BBC agrees with such as this very, very frothy mouthed, eyeball-rolling rant against Brexit…
Is it me or do all BBC commentators look weird ..I wonder if it’s in the job spec ‘all applicants must look freaky’

Must be all that cognitive dissonance trying to be good little groupthinkers as they must be. It’s affecting their physiognomy. Look at Evan Davis, what went wrong there? Kuennsberg could separate curds and whey just by being in the same room. Paxman’s face is now a permanent sneer. Watching the BBC is like having an invite to the ugly bug ball.
I’m no oil painting myself mind you, and I’m not normally mean about people’s appearances – but your post has struck a chord!

I`ve said it before and i`ll say it again. Being “of the right” makes you sunnier, prettier, hunkier or generally worth knowing.
Ted Malloch is my guy, and even I see that Sarah Palin or Jeanine Pirro are pretty, as well as right.
Think of the left in comparison…whether its Barbara Roche or Pat Arrowsmith, you`re limited aren`t you?
Keith Starmer looks alright but spouts rubbish, just a bimbo.
Where IS Ted by the way?
David Davis needs him surely.

Is that Kier Starmer? I laughed when Michael Deacon in the Telegraph described his appearance as like an angry kneecap.
The problem with people on the left is that they are permanently miffed & angry with just about everything. They have no sense of self-determination for their own future or optimism. No wonder they look unpleasant.

I love this CranbrookPhil…
“They have no sense of self-determination for their own future or optimism.”
The country/world would be a better place if we accepted some responsibility for our part in it. I expect _more_ than the average. But I don’t expect anyone to give it to me. That’s the opposite of the miffed and angry. Because they expect it and society, on balance, doesn’t deliver. Unless you live in a Corbynesq Shangri-La paid for by other people’s money that will run out.

It seems to be a common trait of child-rapists.

Both BBC videos – the “viewsnight video” and the “Think Again: ‘There is no obesity crisis'” video – seem to have been produced by a production team high on drugs and straight out of a Bachelor of Arts Course on Film Production and Marketing, with the irritating background music, changes in camera angles, changes in focus, rapidly changing overlaying text and cartoon images. It is all style with little substance and zero journalistic quality. It is not conducive to any thinking – rather it is designed to break up thought – it is designed as a “viewing experience”. But all it does is give me a headache.

So, let’s get this right. Somebody (I’m presuming) has directed this, watched it back and then given two thumbs up and told Julian Glover “yeah Julian you look great and really got your message across.”
I kinda miss being a swivel eyed loon.
