i know this is paranoid but this Parson’s Green attack is different to the usual Islamic attacks as there was a timer on the device , so there was no suicide element. But I agree it is highly unlikely to be afaright attack as it was indiscriminate and I think that the far right would be selective in whom they tried to murder . So if it isn’t either of the above who could be behind it? Well the device only partially worked and so injured people ( let’s hope not too badly and that all make a full and speedy recovery) rather than blew them to bits. Perhaps this was deliberate and the device was not supposed to cause life threatening injuries. Perhaps some group is trying to create a false flag incident here , saying it can’t be Islamist because no Alan’s snack bar chanting , no suicide element so it MUST be far right. Now who would want to do that? Perhaps the government knows the answer.

He did some very good work indeed at the (unsubsidised) Glyndebourne Festival, survived the notoriously tough Metropolitan Opera in NY as well as other US opera houses, and Bayreuth with Georg Solti, who did not suffer fools gladly.
Not sure why it’s necessary to look so far afield to Don Williams. Plenty of world class, down-to-earth performers here such as Thomas Allen and John Tomlinson.
Not saying we don’t have a problem in the arts, and in drama in particular, Emma Rice at the Globe being a recent example, but I think the arts would be more representative if people prised themselves away from 10th rate entertainment on their TVs, and took an interest. I got so depressed here as Fedup that I withdrew from the site but have been reading comments .i found my views were becoming so strong that by writing those thoughts here about remedying the wrongs done to this country I might trip over the “hate” laws or defamation in doing so. In the early 80s I had cause to support a couple of University chemistry students who were victims of Thalidomide.
Boy, they were game. Doing chemistry practicals with deformed (or no) arms was no easy task and I was happy to assist. More tan that. It was a complete pleasure.
Fast forward to 2017. On biased BBC weather forecasts we have, increasingly prominently, one Lisa Martin, quite attractive, who has no right arm below the elbow joint. Now from a personal point of view, good luck to her, overcoming a considerable disability to rise up the ranks.
But she stands ( or is told to stand) with her ‘bad arm’ facing the camera, just so the viewer totally ‘gets it’, and her delivery is rather flat and unimaginative.

I have for sometime been a contrarian to most of what the BBC report , it has put me in good stead. they say that climate change is occurring everywhere I therefore think it isn’t happening, they say we should Remain in the EU I vote Brexit, they promote the Labour Party, I vote either Tory or UKIP when they stand, it detests Trump so I quite like him, it hates Tommy Robinson so I admire him, it hates Isreal so I support them,whatever their view is on any subject I usually take a different and generally opposite one.
One can only imagine the mental turmoil people must go through if they believe even half of what the BBC tell you. My advice to everyone I meet is to listen to what the BBC report and think the opposite.

This listing of Aramco (Arab American Oil Company for those who don’t know) has been chased by the Tories on behalf of the already wealthy bankers of London, Theresa May (AKA ‘we just haven’t got a clue what to do’) supressed the reports (plural) into Saudi funded terrorism to get this deal.
