– Drug addicts asked if everyone should have access to drugs. 100% say yes, Government cannot ignore this evidence. (I made that poll up!)
They might as well legalise it. Where I live you can smell it morning noon and night .the police ignore it. There are hate crimes to investigate .
If people want to suck smoke into their lungs and die an early death that is there choice . The effects on society is just a side effect which the selfish will never care about
Many years ago I read somewhere that cannabis is x20 more carcinogenic that ordinary tobacco. I guess that the modern stronger stuff may be even more so. In the days when I posted on the Daily Mail website, on an article that was relevant, the arguments and almost abuse I received for suggesting this was …interesting. As someone who has never smoked my concerns lie in the cost to the NHS.
In addition, when I was working with students, we were told that around 10% of the time those smoking cannabis had a psychotic episode. And for those who question my memory, it was because it was such a high figure that I was surprised and remembered it. Again my concern is not for the snow flakes but the effect it has on my pocket.
I always find that those who have indulged will give you all the facts and figures to say that cannabis is either less harmful than tobacco or alcohol but they always protest too much. To those who have indulged in their youth and now have older children, I always ask if they would like their children to take it. I ask the same question when I have heard cocaine also on the list of ‘should be legalised’. When it comes to their own children, the answer is usually silence.
10pm BBC the return of W1A the show where the BBC parodies itself.
I imagine it will feature a meeting where they say
: “Right we need some shows that will push out Lib vales : legalising weed, portraying Merkel’s opposition as Nazi’s and portraying the EU as good guys on immigration”
Nobody watches TV anymore. Like, no one. So let’s find more ways of doing less of it better. ???? #W1A returns tonight, 10pm, @BBCTwo. pic.twitter.com/fHx7blWtMf
Article Word Search: korea x 0; refugee x 0; migrant x 0; immigration x 0; europe x 0; Brexit x 0; terror x 0; railways x 1; tuition x 3;
– Article talks of ‘Voters overwhelmingly support’ but does NOT mention the important things going on in the World.
– 1,447 individuals were surveyed 12-15 September. Results are weighted to reflect the profile of GB adults. NO LINK TO POLL.
– Can I suggest a title ‘Voters overwhelmingly support a few policies to show he is popular by hiding the full results‘
Agree Marky
Never trust a poll that doesn’t give you access to the questions and all of the answers. First glaring misreporting:
The British public has given overwhelming backing to “major parts of Jeremy Corbyn’s policy agenda”
“Today’s poll tested key ideas “in the party’s manifesto or mooted by Labour figures”. so not really JC’s policy agenda then?
Then the use of phrases like “backed to some degree by a majority”. The easy ones like nationalisation of some services hit 50%-57%…(strongly or somewhat…doesn’t say how much in each group or what other options were given)
“There was also broad support for a “Robin Hood tax”, of around 0.05 per cent on financial transactions which was backed to varying degrees by 45 per cent in the poll “.. so not an overwhelming majority then, not really broad support…and so it goes on except the percentages get smaller in favour.
Did the Independent headline the Brexit vote as an Overwhelming majority at 52%…?
65% = “Leave the EU” + “Happy Either Way, Had chance to Vote but didn’t”
35% = “Remain in the EU (when using happy either way)”
“Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast (what is acceptable pace?), it’s impossible to build a cohesive society. It’s difficult for schools and hospitals and core infrastructure like housing and transport to cope. {independent oct2015 – not that long ago, nothing has changed as of aug2017}”
– Theresa May as Home Secretary // Speech to the Conservative Party Conference / 06.10.2015
Isn’t it strange that the more we are attacked by muslims the less we care to say the truth. It’s as though we have come to accept as a part of life that muslims will attack us as sure as day follows night and we now just take it like mother’s milk..
What a way to live?
I’d say it was the less we DARE to say the truth, for fear of Plod turning up with an accusation of Hate Crime. Everyone tiptoes round what they really mean.
Obviously if you bomb a country and also let in thousands of military age men from that country there will be problems. A five year old could understand that.
How about a statement from Lord Dubs? Or a question from the BBC, pride of Britain? How many German child refugees tried to blow up British people when they were brought over here?
Amidst all the doom and gloom, here’s a little ray of sunshine: Trannies in a punch-up with extreme feminists. How sweet.
Not reported on BBC surprisingly, usually so keen to champion both those causes.
“Sixty-year-old woman is shoved to the ground as fists fly in a punch-up between transgender activists and their extreme feminist rivals in Hyde Park.
Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists clashed with their enemies Trans Activists
Maria MacLachlan was attacked at Speakers’ Corner in London’s Hyde Park
The 60-year-old mother-of-two was left shaken and the police are investigating.”
They are all equal … equally stupid. The game is up. The mockery must end. The game has been played to the end and the results are in. I’m more special than you! No, I’m more special than you. No, we’re both special, but I’m just a bit more special than you. I deserve more sympathy than you. Look, I wear a vagina suit so I’m a better protester than you.
It would seem that building a stable society is a lot harder than destroying one.
“minority extremist” – someone in a minority group who feels the majority, or other minorities should bend to their own culture or traditions or views using violence if necessary.
Oh dear. I understand that the TERFs deny that blokes who wear frocks and take hormones but chicken out when it comes to getting their bits chopped off are not quite the same as real women.
I love this comment from the Daily Mail: “The transgender issue is the most sensitive in Britain today”. BBC employee doing a bit of moonlighting at the DM, perhaps?
“The transgender issue is the most sensitive in Britain today” … maybe, but what about this ongoing issue ….
– 1400 children sexually attacked with a normal future life denied with some having petrol thrown on them.
– 1400 children sexually attacked with a normal future life denied and still the number of men arrested is small, but it went on for years with girls being passed around the country (an international story)
– 1400 children sexually attacked with a normal future life denied and the number is increasing every week as new attacks are found out.
– 1400 children sexually attacked with a normal future life denied and the BBC is shy to report on them NOW due to the BBCs history of providing a safe space for a paedophile and paying him a ridiculous wage to carry on and gain special status so that he could not be brought to justice whilst alive.
Real women have no problem with men who want to join them. But not in loos thank you, nor in prisons of other sacred spaces where we and our daughtes, mothers can be got at.
As St Germaine says-they simply cannot be real women, no matter how good they look, how culturally captive they are.
No periods, no childbith or breastfeeding, no years of girls school , growing up in pop culture and no endless little barbs (or perks as and when) for all your life hitherto,
Can`t be done.
When trans types don`t smash barmaids faces in or rape in womens prisons-or plead feminine privilege for their aggressive nastiness from too long on the terraces or gyms as far as I can tell-THEN we`ll revisit.
Until then- Greer, Bindel and Burchill are correct, the mock ups like Lees and Jenner are parodies for Channel 5 and not for real life at all.
Well yes, maybe. But both countries have land borders with North Korea and a united Korea would mean US troops stationed on their borders and less than 100 miles from Vladivostok in the case of Russia. And they ain’t gonna put up with that. Also worth noting that China took part in RIMPAC 2014 and RIMPAC 2016 and has been invited to RIMPAC 2018 (this is the world’s largest naval exercise, organised by the USA).
All Trump needs to do is cut a deal with China saying Korea remains divided and the north can stay communist, letting China chose the regime. A bit pre 1914 but it would get China onside and rid us of the Kim family.
Police in the US state of Georgia have shot and killed an LGBT student activist, leading to an independent investigation. Police encountered Scout Schultz at a campus in Atlanta after a call about “a person with a knife and a gun” late on Saturday, officials say. Footage has emerged apparently showing Schultz, 21, refusing to obey several police commands to drop a knife.
– Police were operating on assumption that a gun was seen and on the suspect?
Just listening to Vine on Radio 2 (Facebook comments disabled of course) and he was talking to Nina Mishcroft, whoever she is? They were basically saying no one was hurt in the latest attack and you could be killed by a pushbike hitting you on the street and we should just get on with life and accept terrorism as part of life!
This coming from the side who have whined about ‘micro aggressions’, ‘cultural appropriation’, ‘hate crime’ and other such victimless nonsense. Nobody likes to bask in victimhood like the Beeb.
Does the person believe drawing cartoons is evil?
Does the person believe being homosexual is evil?
Does the person believe books of fiction should be burnt?
Does the person believe kids dolls shouldn’t have faces?
Does the person believe dogs shouldn’t be petted?
Does the person believe Mecca should be closed to all non-Muslims?
Does the person believe only Muslims should slaughter animals under Halal which is positive employment discrimination?
Does the person know where these attacks originate from?
Does the person know where these attacks will escalate to?
The plot was foiled when the police raided homes and arrested five suspects in Bandung, West Java, last week, the sources with direct knowledge of the plot said.
After the raids, the police spoke of a plan to explode a “chemical” bomb but provided no other details.
The plot comes as Indonesia grapples with an influx of militants deported from other countries and the fallout from terror group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)-led siege in the southern Philippines city of Marawi that regional leaders and analysts worry has energised militants across South-east Asia.
Two of the five suspects are Indonesian migrant workers deported from Singapore and Hong Kong this year for posting radical Islamist material on social media.
Mark,
Nothing too shocking there but I do take from it, ‘DEPORTED from Singapore and Hong Kong this year for posting radical Islamist material on social media.’
It’s a powder keg. SE Asia, thankfully, generally believes in the rule of law and Islamic militants usually have to answer for their terrorism at the point of an unapologetic police gun, but I’m genuinely surprised that SE Asia hasn’t seen a bigger rise in Islamic insurgency – or perhaps we just don’t get told about it here? Can’t think why.
I think its more likely to have been Nina Myskow. An old school columnist who wrote in girls magazines back when God was a boy. She’s been a regular on panel games over the years, but anyone under 55 wouldn’t remember her.
Nuclear weapons: “A firm public commitment to build the 100-billion-pound renewal of Britain’s Trident weapons system, followed by an equally firm commitment, privately, not to build it. They’re secret submarines, so no one will ever know. It’s a win-win.”
Free bicycles for all to “combat obesity, traffic congestion, and bike theft”.
Instead of Theresa May’s commitment to bring back grammar schools, Buckethead would build “gamma” schools founded on three principles: “One, better funding for teachers, to attract bright graduates. Two, increased facilities for children, especially playing fields. Three, if any child misbehaves three times, they are blasted into deep space, with the parents provided with a lovely fruit basket, by way of consolation or celebration, depending on the child. Discipline is key”.

What on earth is that deranged old fool clattering on about? He really does epitomise what’s so wrong with British politics doesn’t he!
Lib Dems are never seen as useful, except in a silly far-off island council, or when a ‘coalition’ is needed, and when they can immediately ditch all their ‘principles’ like student loans etc., saying it’s for the good of the country.
For the sake of God, Mr Cable, take your pension and just bugger off. You talk complete twaddle every time you open your false teeth. You’ve never understood proper business, and just make a mockery of yourself to people who actually do!
Did I hear right? Calls to legalise cannabis after the bastards preached at and hounded us smokers back in the day.
Maybe they should legalise LSD – I’ll swear our government and the Left are always tanked up on it anyway.
Interesting that the bin bombers are referred to as 18 year old and 21year old MEN. Yet when they come over seeking asylum they are referred to as ‘children’ !!!!

\\”Reliance on cheap foreign labour ‘damages economy'”, finds report by Centre for Social Justice?
Basically UKcould develop robotic carwash tech..and thus increase productivity
but bosses just import foreign bucket men, as a cheap quickfix
I see the papers are reporting some trick that was used in the Three girls case
but they didn’t spot it.
In 3girls the police needed evidence against the perps, so they charged the victim, this gave them licence to continue the enquiryinstead of dropping it.
And in court the child might be intimidated against testifying gainst the perp, but cos she is giving evidence toprotect herself , it is introduced into the general case. the idea is that usually the victim doesn’t end up in court, cos the threat is enough to get the perp to confess.
12-year-old girl who was pressured into sending topless photo to paedophile told she could face a child sex charge. https://t.co/QTYWcZL1bo
Indeed StewGreen – those in the BBC who control the language and broadcasting, controls the now.
Grooming Gang = Dog grooming?
Adult who raped a child and then covered them in petrol, then told the child to entrap other children to be raped for over 6 years = Hate, anger. How do I stop this?
Clear language matters.
Children bombed, commuters with faces blown off, and 1400 children raped. And they label objectors as Islamophobic
The correct word.
Got to be careful about falling foul of the ‘ hate’ laws so helpfully brought in to reduce our freedom of speach and expression even further. …. but are you thinking what I’m thinking ….about them…
Similar happened to someone we know. 13 year old boy sent picture of genitals to girl. Girl disgusted, forwarded picture to boy’s girlfriend. Both cautioned and BOTH expelled.
@Gaxvil Was that the end of it ? Cos yes it’s unjust.
I think it’s a different matter, cos surely that was just the school not the police.
To me it ould be a police matter if there was a hint an adult was involved, say pretending to be the boy etc.
(There is a story of a girl in the states that was expelled for sending a topless photo, bu not the boys who coerced and shared it http://jezebel.com/girl-sends-sext-gets-kicked-out-of-school-lacrosse-pl-471285308 )

Such a supply and demand problem for the SJWs. They have to travel to another continent to get a story on a pet issue, and even here it is only a joke in poor taste.
Why can’t these losers do something useful, like go into tough schools and help immigrant children with literacy, rather than wasting their time finding things to be offended about?
Darn it. Will check if it’s in Pidgin as well in the future – the BBC might be writing their articles in Pidgin as a native language then translating to English due to it dying out according to EU Juncker.
So it’s “Don’t shot them”? Or “Go for the leg?” Guess BBC’s fact checker will help me out …. nothing.

Within minutes of the tube bomb Trump was tweeting they were Islamic terrorists ‘in the sights of Scotland Yard.’ For which he was roundly rebuked by our sniffy, snooty Establishment, led by the beebistan.
Now, days later, it emerges they were indeed islamists (surprise surprise) and were indeed known to inspector Plod.
Trump: 1 – Fake News: 0
(He also blamed it on “loser terrorists”, promoted his travel ban and advocated a “proactive and nasty” policy against Islamic State. Trump for Prime Minister, I say!)
Anybody else notice how low key the bBC is keeping Trumps speech at the UN. A speech where he spoke a lot of common scene regards how the UN spends more time talking than taking action, talk which is funded by 1/4 of its budget by the US. In fact the top ten countries (of which the UK is One) when it comes to funding the UN account for nearly 70% of its entire funding . The thing is he talked sense, yet the bBC which can pass comment on any tweet POTUS makes (Sweden/UK terrorism/ etc) and mock it within seconds is keeping quiet on how even the Sec Gen of the UN supports Trump in making the UN more accountable.
Funny thing is I read Trump’s comment as more direct – insight of Scotland yard.. well it was only 4.5 miles away and if the train had gone any further and exploded as intended it would have very much in sight of Scotland yard..
methinks the press and BBC look for meaning that suits and ignore other options when it comes to Trump.
Has anyone ever heard a positive comment from the BBC about Trump?
According to googling if you have two you’ll get £67500 a year because of pay and tax allowances . Blimey. Great how hmg can find money for underage illegal immigrants who al Beeb would call refugees but not for social care for the elderly . Sick fucking country ( swear word chosen for appropriateness )
Can’t argue with that Fedup ! so true. There is probably only one generation left of ‘elderly’ who have paid into the system for a life-time, so its abhorrent they face an uncertain future for care should they need it.
It used to be said that you never see a poor Undertaker. Well, after seeing the homes of the celebrity guests who grace our TV’s in very minor capacities, on Money for Nothing, then its clear that any tv appearance pays for having the home of your dreams !!!
I know its been touched on previously but the fact the beeb to the best of my knowledge has given little or no coverage of the anti EU protests in Poland is disgraceful. This is not just a fringe movement having a day out but a genuine sign of support for their sovereign Government who are fighting for their sovereign rights. Threats coming from Brussels in my opinion will strengthen both the Government’s and the populaces resolve. I would be interested to know what Polands medias take is on this. Just a guess but I suspect it’s a lot more supportive than our lot would be.
Of course not – the transgender issue is our main concern. Get real people!
Anyway, heard a bit of Mishel Insane on the bbc WS. Apparently, Trump is going to destroy the UN.
Oh, dear.
Outstanding rudeness by Jo Coburn to Duncan Smith on the Daily Politics today, even worse than she normally is. She was shouting at him. They were “discussing” Boris’s reference to the £350 million; she did not want to hear his explanation at all, whereas somebody from the Statistics “Authority” was listened to with total respect.
The bbc is slowly but surely becoming unhinged.
Increasingly they struggle to stifle the hatred they feel toward any person or organization that does not agree with them.

I thought there was serious plot loss when they said that CV s would be edited to prevent mid and upper classes from being unfairly selected.
Some one told me that in the real world if you have to do an interview you’ve failed – because it should be fixed before that stage.
As if editing CV s will make any difference. Al Beeb and the meedja are so incestuous that they all know some one who knows some one. And they celebrate it- Dimbleby, snow, rantzen Peston and other politicians’ offspring
Taken from the Spectator: from a certain Mr D Murrey:
“What we fail to recall is that while ‘Keep calm and carry on’ was fine advice for the citizenry of London during the nightly destruction of the Blitz, Britain didn’t win World War II simply by the daily expression of taciturn stoicism. While the citizenry of London were being exhorted to remain calm and unbothered, their service men were in the skies flattening whole German cities. But in this conflict, and with a far less severe but still relentless form of terror, we don’t know where the German cities might be this time or what we should do if we found them. What can we do other than bear this? If you are a member of the Labour shadow cabinet you can pretend that people only put explosive devices onto the London underground because of Tory cuts. And you can pretend that if you were in power you would find the money to pay for policemen to better hunt down the followers of an ideology you don’t dare identify. “
I often think that the brazen wearing of Islamic gear after atrocities is as provocative as goose-stepping Shaftesbury Avenue pansies mincing down the Strand in their Luftwaffe outfits after a blitz on Londons docklands or such.
Would anybody really have let them express their otherness by insulting those who`d died or suffered back in 1940?
Course not-yet here we are today letting Islam get away with this, cossetted at our expense by the BBC.

Given our projected growth next year,in terms of GDP is about 1.6%. Our Foreign Aid budget is 0.8%. Has it occurred to the idiots we call politicians that the Foreign Aid Budget we give away to other countries like China for example, (recent stop smoking research), is equivalent to 50% of our total growth figure (GDP) for the country.
What worries me is that these are the same idiots are also negotiating out way out of the EU!
When I see the end of the ‘soft’ money Foreign Aid budget being used more sensibly, only then will I have any respect for politicians.
When politicians say there is no more money for the nurses and ambulance crews (not teachers please), their argument is destroyed by the financial giveaway of 14 billion pounds in Foreign Aid.

7 Harmful Side Effects Pot Legalization Has Caused in Colorado {dailysignal.com aug2014}
There is more bad news out of Colorado regarding the negative impact of marijuana legalization.
1. The majority of DUI drug arrests involve marijuana and 25 to 40 percent were marijuana alone.
2. In 2012, 10.47 percent of Colorado youth ages 12 to 17 were considered current marijuana users compared to 7.55 percent nationally. Colorado ranked fourth in the nation, and was 39 percent higher than the national average.
3. Drug-related student suspensions/expulsions increased 32 percent from school years 2008-09 through 2012-13, the vast majority were for marijuana violations.
4. In 2012, 26.81 percent of college age students were considered current marijuana users compared to 18.89 percent nationally, which ranks Colorado third in the nation and 42 percent above the national average.
5. In 2013, 48.4 percent of Denver adult arrestees tested positive for marijuana, which is a 16 percent increase from 2008.
6. From 2011 through 2013 there was a 57 percent increase in marijuana-related emergency room visits.
7. Hospitalizations related to marijuana has increased 82 percent since 2008.
– Drug addicts asked if everyone should have access to drugs. 100% say yes, Government cannot ignore this evidence. (I made that poll up!)

Voters overwhelmingly support Jeremy Corbyn’s policy agenda, poll finds {independent.co.uk 18sep2017}

The idea of an LGBTQ ‘community’ is such nonsense.
Lesbians and gay men generally do not see eye to eye. I have never met a butch interior designer or theatre director.
Feminists often dislike transsexuals as they are proof that gender is not just a social construct. Plus they are competing for optimum victim status.
Plus the gay community is far from homogenous. Gay friends often said a pet hate of their was overtly camp men.

JAKARTA • Indonesian militants planned to detonate a radioactive “dirty bomb”, security sources said, highlighting the rising ambitions of extremists to wreak destruction in the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation. But experts cast doubt on the militants’ expertise, equipment and chances of success. {straitstimes.com 26aug2017}

So could Lord Bucket head, if only, … ‘I could be the next prime minister’ {bbc.co.uk sep2017}
Sir Vince Cable has insisted it is “perfectly plausible” that he could become the next prime minister.
Lord Buckethead’s manifesto in the 2017 election promised “strong, not entirely stable leadership” and included the following promises: {wiki}

I watched Sunday Politics. Impression? Get somebody worthy to replace Brillo. We want the ‘edge’ he displayed not a weak programme headed by a flaccid, limp interrogator.

When an Imam says … “No religion says you hurt anybody, not your wife or your neighbour or anyone. This is common sense,” the cleric (Dr Taufiq Al Sattar), who established a prayer centre in west Dublin, said. {independent.ie 18sep2017} … how do these Imams explain the following …
a. If a man writes a piece of fiction, should he have a death contract put on his life?
b. If a man declares he is homosexual should he be shunned?
c. If a man who draws a cartoon should he be sent death threats?
d. Do you think you should be given a job based solely on your religion?
e. Do you think you should discriminate against animals?
f. Do you think UK Tax Payers should support and pay for Sharia to operate in the UK?
a. If no, then please write to Iran to remove current death sentence for Salman Rushdie. (Fiction)
b. If no, then please ask for it to be stopped in Majority Muslim Countries. (Homosexuals)
c. If no, then please ask this to be stopped in Majority Muslim Countries. (Cartoons)
d. If no, then remove the restriction that only Muslims can recite from the Koran and slaughter the animals for Halal food. (Positive Religious/Employment Discrimination)
e. If no, then start using pork products in your baking. (Animal Discrimination)
f. Halal food, bought, enforces the Sharia laws as it conforms to Sharia doctrine.
– “No religion says you hurt anybody” – this is not true and recent history has shown it not to be true.

Funny that.

Has anyone ever seen Guterres and Juncker in the same room?….

James – he might have meant ‘within sight’ of Scotland Yard as you say.
Either way he was right.

Anyone wanna be a foster parent ?
According to googling if you have two you’ll get £67500 a year because of pay and tax allowances . Blimey. Great how hmg can find money for underage illegal immigrants who al Beeb would call refugees but not for social care for the elderly . Sick fucking country ( swear word chosen for appropriateness )
And for some they’ll even chuck in an MBE

Coming soon to Your bbc – Your Daily Five Minutes of Hate! (Just after, ‘Thought for the Day’ by Imam Hussein.)

Cannot, gax. The Beebertroid in Chief hath decreed that it is out of bounds.
When I hear news on radio of what is coming up on telly, I’m glad I have stopped watching.
I am a little tempted, however, to make a Discrimination Claim against the BBC. As they are all the rage, at present.

“Keep Calm And Carry On”
it’s perhaps time that we re-issued its 1939 running mate:
“Freedom Is In Peril – Defend It With All Your Might”

Sadly, the British government, aided by the BBC, is the threat to that freedom.

Course not-yet here we are today letting Islam get away with this, cossetted at our expense by the BBC.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4874708/1-5billion-aid-fund-spent-India-China.html

10pm More4 Heavy narrative building in the prog about Police responding to Hate Crime 999 calls
prog begins with shots of building hung with many England flags , and voice of Farage muttering
– Then to item onBrazilian household who appear to be victims of a false phonecall to police
– Then to shots of Union jack mural , whilst audio is Theresa May announcing Brexit.
” work of the police, paramedics and fire service in Wiltshire. The first edition examines the rise in racially aggravated hate crimes, with the mother of a nine-year-old girl calling 999 to report that her daughter has been racially abused by two 11-year-olds while out playing. PC James Isaac arrests a 29-year-old man who targeted a 17-year-old white girl with text messages after coming across photos of her and her black boyfriend on Facebook.”
Looks to me that the criminals are nutters ..so yes they say racist things when they get caught stealing from a black shop, but if it was a white owned shop they’d kickoff the same.
