The BBC on their CBBC channel are going full steam ahead to indoctrinate our kids with “Black History Month”:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/news

Lead story: Black History Month in Britain: Great women you should know about
Included in this dubious list as a Great Person you Should Know About is Dianne Abbot – the incompetent Shadow Home Secretary of the Jeremy Corbyn Labour Party – who’s main claim to fame was being black, being one of Corbyn’s mistresses and being full of hot air as demonstrated in the previous general election campaign – where even Jeremy Corbyn, in an unprecedented step, was forced to withdraw her from the public view after yet another display of incompetence on radio.

They have also listed Mary Seacole – which is someone that has been pushed by Black political activists as being more or of equal importance to Florence Nightingale, only for Historians to note that Mary Seacole was a mixed race figure of minor relevance who was primarily in Crimea to sell her wares. In the original BBC article posted several hours ago the BBC didn’t even mention Florence Nightingale and confused Florence Nightingale for Mother Theresa for fecks sake! In the latest edit (45 minutes old) they have corrected this – but I kept a copy of the original (it shows how lacking in knowledge these people are who write this activist shite).
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/41433196

The second story is headlined: Kids explain why Black History Month is important to them
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/41453182

Expect the CBBC channel to be filled with such stories over the next month.
    The BBC propaganda is relentless

Thanks for that, I did enjoy reading this about Fabbot:
She also started the London Schools and the Black Child programme, which aims to help black children to do well in school.

If only the bBC had mentioned the part about how she sent her son to a private school whilst campaigning against them. But then black women do know best,

Black History Month in Britain: Great women you should know about
“Throughout history, black people have made huge contributions to society in the fields of art, music, science, literature and many more areas.”
      TWMTB.
      Followed by some samples.
Which must be directed at children, or written by a ten year asylum seeker.
Throughout history! Well throughout most of history there was no black history, or literature, because history/literature is based on writing. TWMTB must be aware of this because they spend most of their resources on “correcting” history.
Most of Africa was pre-literate until very recently. West Africa is semi-literate today, and becoming less literate as enrichers like Boko Haram discourage anyone from reading the Koran for themselves. Much better to be told by the clerics what they need to know.
Western archaeology has discovered what is known of African history.
Most of the women listed appear to have a large quota of non black genes, which is where the brains, such as they are, came from.
Most prominently no scientists are in this list. Because there are none. TWMTB could not even find a third rate one to include. Believe me they tried.
No black person has won a Nobel science prize yet.
This is frequently noted as racism, if so it is skewed racism, the Japanese have no problems winning Nobel prizes.
Not surprising since the Japanese have a higher average IQ than people of West European descent. IQ methodology and figures which virtually nobody disputes; when discussing East Asians

However every lefty claims that IQ test are Western inventions, biased against non Western populations, or do not really measure IQ, or IQ is not the same as intelligence, or there are several types of intelligence, or that IQ is due to the environment. Or whatever nonsense they include as evidence that the IQ figure for blacks are just wrong.

Summary TWMTB revising history to suit lefty purposes, disseminating lying propaganda describing it as history. Or news. Sorry AlBeeb nothing will change until you award the Nobel prizes; then we would see some changes, and we know how it would change.

    Shia Muslims commemorate Ashura with self-flagellation rituals in UK (Manchester, out on the street) {rt.com 01oct2017}
“A procession of Shia Muslims marched down Wilmslow road in Rusholme, south Manchester on Saturday, slapping their bare chests in a ritual of self-flagellation to mark the religious festival of Ashura. Manchester’s Shia Muslims joined other devotees across the world in punishing themselves, in some cases, even drawing blood. Ashura falls on the tenth day of the month of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar. The festival marks the death of Imam Hussein who died in the Battle of Karbala in the seventh century.”

    – Did they celebrate Ashura inside the Mosques before 2017? Not seen this reported before.
    – Let’s try the BBC £3.5bn News Service and search for ‘Ashura’ …

Suicide ‘shepherd’ bomber kills several people near Kabul mosque (sep2017) // Kabul shrine attack kills Shia Muslims during Ashura (oct2016) // Words of Faith: Ashura and Islam (1995) // Words of Faith: Day of Ashura – Islam (1996) // Words of Faith: The Day of Ashura – Islam (1994) // Dhaka blasts: One dead in attack on Shia Ashura ritual (oct2015) // Saudi Arabia Shia attack: Five killed at Ashura event (oct2015) // Re-enactments as Shia Muslims mark holy day of Ashura {bbc.co.uk nov2014} : “Some Shia men seek to emulate the suffering of Hussein by flagellating themselves with chains or cutting their foreheads.”

    – Odd that RT report on Ashura in Manchester,UK (oct2017) and the BBC don’t. Wiki says “it (Muslim men cutting their heads or whipping themselves until they bleed, in public, in front of women and children for God) creates a backward and negative image of their community (Shia Muslims).

What is so absurd about the ‘gender pay gap’ is it does not consider what the extra money is spent on; if you have a joint bank account then you share all the money you earn anyway. Many men would testify to the ‘gender spending gap’ whereby an inordinate amount of their earnings are spent on shoes, trendy lamp shades and other such fripperies which our women like to buy.

We need a ‘going Galt’ party to starve the Government of funds, and a good start would be that everybody goes on the dole to collapse the system!

Only half joking actually – when I think of my working life over the years (sometimes in pretty boring jobs), and of how society has changed for the worse, I can only come to the conclusion that I might well not have bothered. For many years now we have been contributing to a system that appears to be abolishing the country we once knew.

In fact a life of benefit fraud, cash in hand work, and low-level drug dealing would’ve been enough to see all my needs met. But alas I’m not in a minority group so I probably wouldn’t have the get-out-of-jail-free benefits if I were caught. Jail is no place for a middle aged white man, so it’s back to work tomorrow for me!

And given the number of Muslims being imported by Khan (similar situation in Catalonia) courtesy of his affordable housing projects the “independence” referendum vote would be a clear winner! What then? Should we submissively say “By,Bye London”?

This “independence” lark all very fashionable (particularly amongst the Brexiters) but it is a short term gain with potentially lethal long term consequences. People should start researching issues before commentating.

A friend given to scouring the net is telling me that in the US people monitoring Police radios say the perpetrators were a Muslim couple who used her to gain the confidence of staff before fleeing while he unpacked an arsenal from a suitcase. She is still on the run and being hunted by the Police.

If this does turn out to be the case then the media reaction will certainly be interesting to watch as it is not becoming impossible for them to deny the link between Muslims and murderous intent.

The gunman was down at the scene in the Mandalay Bay hotel, police said. Stephen Paddock was identified as the gunman in the shooting, according to NBC News. Paddock is a 64-year-old from Mesquite, Nevada. His motive is not yet clear, but police have said they don’t think the shooting was an act of terrorism, at least not at this point.

Stephen Paddock doesn’t sound like a Muslim name, but then again people do convert and those who do appear very vulnerable to suggestions they should carry out Jihad.

There are suggestions that Paddock was a member of known terror group antifa:

What reactions would you expect from around the country? How would it affect the lives of those who are not social conservatives? What would you tell the nation in a five-minute ministerial broadcast?

As for other issues such as quality of journLism. ( or lack of it within al beeb you should be able to draw your own conclusions .

Abolish the overseas aid budget. Reform the NHS for use by uk nationals only- and privatise where possible . Usage determined by NI contributions. Reform royal colleges to reduce powers.
Reform rule on charities to control Islamic fraud. Burka ban
Privatise the bbc & abolish the licence
Prevent local councils from interfering with issues outside local jurisdiction
Licence bike use with comp insurance . More roads underground. End state housing.
Reform teaching to depoliticise it. Lengthen academic year. Encourage degrees for jobs.
Introduce national Identity card. Consider national service .

It was not such a celebration of women’s rights
#1 She finds Tajikistan very sexist, mentions men having multiple wives. Doing tricks like going abroad and then sending them a message that they divorced them. She doesn’t mention the Muslim religion at all.
#2 She couldn’t get a female guide, cos they all belong to men either father or husband
#3 Both her family host man , and her guide turn out to be playboy types who expect her to sleep with them
..the old “I didn’t bring a sleeping bag trick”

This ties back to what I said about there probably being far less female applicants for this travel bursary. Although women are equal to men, and although in certain fields like getting easy access to study children, the advantage runs in favour of women…when it comes to travelling in Muslim countries things are more straight forward for men.
However my personal experience is that even then some of the local men make overtures to foreign men.

In the interview sessions (or at least the parts of them I’ve seen) at the Conservative Party Conference, Jo Coburn has maintained a relentless and tediously repetitive attack on Boris Johnson, repeatedly asking her guests whether he should be sacked. Taken with the sudden upsurge in attacks and criticism on Boris Johnson by the BBC more generally during the past few days, and the hatchet-job that was the BBC4 programme last night (again, at least the parts of it that I watched before turning it off in disgust), there has clearly been a policy decision in the BBC whose aim is to destroy Johnson. Naturally, the BBC did not act in the same way against Thornberry or any of the other Comrades. The BBC – biased, corrupt and vile.

Always nice to hear the BBC ask their “when will Boris be sacked” crap-and endless courteously clueless Tories answer in bubblespeak.
Do the Tories ever think that maybe Jo Coburn and her chums are NOT too bothered with the electoral prospects or personal advancement of a Shapps or a Rudd. Nor do they really care about “party unity” or potential “splits in this once great party”?
No really Theresa and Damian…they might look and sound like they do…but they don`t…they really don`t!
So if Boris is getting up their noses like Russell Brands coke straw, Or Rees Mogg is getting them arsey…then they`re the people that the Tories need.
Not that Mays pew fillers will see this, but we do.
If Michael Crick, Laura Kuennsberg, Andrew Marr or Robert Peston think you`re doing fine as a Tory…mature, measured and responsible-then you need to look up what happened to Von Papen or Beria, Litvenenko or Biko…and work back a little.

He, too, was as relentless over Bojo as you relate JoCo to have been.

Do I gain an impression that the BBC might be terrified of a journalist, with leadership experience and experience of the broadcast media & its habits, becoming Tory Party leader? Therefore, get out now & blacken his name as much as possible so that a) it doesn’t happen, and b) if it did, an immediate General Election would be a necessity to endorse the leadership of one so dire.

Only the other day (Friday?) the BBC were trying to tell me that Boris would be a popular choice for leader.

I find that hard to believe but stranger things have happened. Iain Duncan-Smith, for example. I wish the BBC would make their minds up. Today, Pienaar was all cooey, gooey, lovey-dovey over the Labour Party conference of last week.

      – When hope not hate fails?

John Pienaar excelled himself on WATO today. To hear him, last week’s Labour conference was an unadulterated triumph and Corbyn and McDonnell are going to win the next election, swept to a resounding victory by the public’s realisaton that free market economics don’t work and that hard line socialism is the only way forward. By contrast, he said, the Conservative’s conference was a funeral party.

Even if he was right about the latter, the fact is that the BBC, CH 4 et al set out to make the deeply divided Labour party look like it was having a whale of a time in Brighton. The socialist media had also decided that the deluded members in attendance, who had presumably been at the nitrous oxide, were right to be euphoric. Oh, Jeremy Corbyn! Oh, Mr Porter, more like!

Pienaar, like so many of his fellow socialists at the BBC, confuses the opinions of his peers with those of the nation. My estimation of the public mood (historically much more reliable than the BBC’s by a very long way) suggests that the public despises both parties just about equally and badly wishes there was a viable alternative.

Saturdays Telegraph cartoon shows the Tories as a set of deluded clowns on the road to Manchester scoffing at the possibility of Corbyn beating them.

May is perhaps the worst PM since Lord North, like some doubly cursed Midas every new policy seems to go horribly wrong. She has squandered a lead she didn’t need to by attacking her own supporters, and worse than that has no vision passion or drive. Asking Tory party activists what she stands for is met with a lot of blank looks and searching for something to say – invariably they fail, or come up with something inane like ‘grammar schools’.

Unless the Tories get shot of May, and the sooner the better, she will inevitably allow Corbyn to take over our country and wreck it, all for the sake of her ego.

Andrew Swaffield, Monarch’s chief executive, blamed the collapse on the effects of terrorism.
“The root cause is the closure, due to terrorism, of Sharm-El- Sheikh and Tunisia and the decimation of Turkey,” he said in a letter to staff.

“Since 2015 we’ve seen yields collapse by a quarter, resulting in £160m less revenue. This has especially affected Spain and Portugal which is 80 per cent of our business.”

Surely Muslims don’t crush an industry, throw thousands of people out of work and leave thousands more stranded. Sounds like an ideal subject for Newsnight and Eddie Mair’s PM.

On a dreadful awful day it might be useful to change the subject, at least for a short while. The site linked to below provides a daily update as to the snow and ice cover in the Northern Hemisphere. Why is this interesting? Because it gives you the real data so you can call out lies broadcast about climate change alarmism when applied to the ‘melting arctic ice’.

    http://www.natice.noaa.gov/ims/

You will notice from the 3 day sea ice graph that the Artic is now refreezing much faster than it normally does growing at a rate over 132,000 square kilometres per week (yes that improbably large figure is correct)!

The Northern Europe / Asia snow cover map is showing the greatest covering of snow for at least 20 years at this time of year.

Of course all this is subject to change at any time, and it’s difficult to draw a conclusion at this early stage, however one thing is certain, it’s damn cold up North for the time of the year and the Arctic is not melting !

All this cold air needs somewhere to go, and that is where the skill of the forecaster comes in. This happened a few years ago when it all moved over Canada and down into the US which experienced a bitterly cold Winter, whilst we had a mild one. It could just as easily sweep Westward though and dump it all on us instead !

Glad you posted that, Thoughtful, as it gives me a chance to relate a Thames Estuary ‘incident’ that occurred last week or the week before. It was sometime after dark, so I could not identify the specific bird, but I heard a flight of geese heading south-ish, honking away for all they were worth.

I immediately thought that strange. Almost two months too early. Does that mean once our partially-sunless Indian Summer is out of the way in the south-east, we are heading toward a very cold winter?

If so, you were forewarned here first.

This: “The Northern Europe / Asia snow cover map is showing the greatest covering of snow for at least 20 years at this time of year.” may (note the scientific word used there – may) explain the geese. There was a massive flock of Brent (Brant) Geese in the (Faversham/Sheppey/Seasalter) Swale at Christmas last year.

I watched a programme on the BBC I forget what it was called but it was something like ‘Crossing Russia’ with Simon Reeve.
Unfortunately it was a bit of a ‘we are destroying our planet fest for the BBC’ He was in Siberia and apparently it was warming up, and a nomad who had no tv or newspapers in fact nothing in that extreme wilderness except deer, a wife and several kids agreed we were destroying the planet … but of course the BBC did the translating.
We were told at least ten of thousand deer had died this year alone because they couldn’t get to their food. How this figure was arrived at in this absolute wilderness I have no idea.
The explanation for the deer not getting food was that it rained instead of snowing and the frozen ice ( that’s warming for you! ) meant they couldn’t get their hooves through to the food. Then a little while later it was that there was so little snow that it compacted under their feet so they couldn’t reach their food. . a sort of ‘have your cake and eat it’ situ for the BBC.
We were later treated to some wonderful footage of permafrost earth thawing out, except that they looked exactly like regular sink holes with vertical sides and virtually round in plan.
To be honest I don’t think the weather is any different now as to when I was a kid. What we have now is vast amounts of video cams, mobile phone cameras etc that any natural disaster is recorded now when once it wasn’t and it is shared on our vast social media sites. In short we record what was once not recorded.

      @Thoughtful

You are right that there has been no material change in Arctic Ice conditions these past 10 years, Not that you would know that from the likes of the BBC, which simply wish to promote their vision of the world, and to promote their new world order, which factually is far divorced from reality, and the real world that we live in. See the data from MASIE which is the latest and most sophisticated satellite data set.

      https://realclimatescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Image589_shadow.png

2017 has, if anything, seen a partial increase in ice, particularly in Greenland which has seen the 5th largest ice gain on record. See:

      https://realclimatescience.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Image740_shadow.png

And one should not believe the hype peddled by the BBC that the Arctic is much warmer now than it was. The UK Met Office’s own temperature data (collated in conjunction with the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia) shows that recent decades (say the 24 year period between 1992 and 2016) was cooler than the decades of the 1930s and 1940s (eg, the 24 year period between 1922 and 1946). Viz:

      http://notrickszone.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Arctic-Temperatures-1920-2017-HadCRUT4.jpg

One will note that in the 24 year period 1922 to 1946, some 12 years (ie., half the time) had a temperature anomaly of + 4degC, whereas in the 24 year period 1992 to 2016, only 6 years (ie., a quarter of the time) had a temperature anomaly of + 4 degC. Further in recent years, it has struggled to reach the + 4 degC anomaly level whereas in the 1920s to 1940s the anomalies are generally higher, and one sees some + 5degC, + 6 deg C and even a + 7degC anomaly.

In fact no recent year has come close to the warmth of 1937/8 with the + 7 degC anomaly.

MSM, and particularly the BBC, simply peddles misinformation on climate.

I remember the BBC reporting with a light-hearted chuckle about the Julius Caesar production with a Trump-like figure as the assassinated leader.

Political violence – isn’t it such light-hearted fun, eh? Ok
