I notice May is bringing in a law that means that if you or your family wish retain ownership of your body once it is deceased you have to actively apply to the state.
This is quite nasty and scary stuff that you don’t actually own your body, it now means you have your body on loan from the state.
Can any leftwinger that visits this site please tell me what is conservative ( small state ) about May?
The following was flagged by a reader on Going Postal and is a very interesting perspective on immigration from Africa, from an Italian academic who has spent her career researching Africa.
It’s worth reading, both for Prof Bono’s informed opinions and to remind ourselves that such opinions are never represented on the BBC – however authoritative and well researched they may be.
I know there’s the “Good news is no news” adage but as that old ITV news bloke, the one who liked cats, said – ‘ Just a half hour per week of good news would be nice ‘.
UK news is like US news with all the hope, patriotism and confidence removed.
”BBC. How would one go about making a digital copy of it (other than playing it out aloud and digitally recording the sound)?”
The best way to download and record radio and TV from BBC iplayer and without signing in/registering,
is using get_iplayer ‘’a free non BBC utility for downloading TV and radio programmes from BBC iPlayer.’’
Then copy and paste all that line into the get iplayer window. Maybe Press enter on keyboard, to wake it up, It will find the prog after a min or two and start downloading it as a permanent mp4.
“..either you’re for everything we’ve had recently and more (immigration) or you say hold the horses a bit, and then you’re a Nazi, bigot, racist, facist so…The number of people who say if the Guardian shits on you that hard, you must be onto something.” – Douglas Murray

“Male privilege” is the concept that men have certain advantages within society for no other reason than the fact they are men.
Tech entrepreneur Dr Vivienne Ming, who is transgender, discovered this in her thirties when she transitioned.
In her role as chief scientist at a tech industry recruitment firm she has also calculated the value of this advantage.
So the BBC are clearly believers of, and are champions and full time political activists to bring about the end of ‘male privilege’
Lets have a look at where females are being disproportionately disadvantaged….
You couldnt be more left wing than the Huff’….so men are being sentence longer for same offences…
I am struggling to see what Dr ‘Vivienne Ming’ is going to use as evidence to prove his case. I think what he may have discovered is people arent as easily confused and ready to ignore reality than he was
More women in prison? (only 5%)
More women on the streets? (only 15%)
Women live expectancy reduced! (by 3 years)
More women in top military positions in North Korea! (only 0%)
While we’re at it, let’s throw lots of young women out of university, since they outnumber men by 35%.
We need some more of those Brexit-voting deplorables getting degrees:
The gender disparity is particularly acute among those from disadvantaged backgrounds, with young women who were on free school meals 51% more likely to go into higher education than comparable young men.
Do you think the transgender co-designer of the chip that is in almost all smartphones is poor ?
“Sophie Wilson FRS FREng (born Roger Wilson in Leeds, England, in 1957) is a British computer scientist. She is known for designing the Acorn Micro-Computer, the first of a long line of computers sold by Acorn Computers Ltd, as well as the instruction set of the ARM processor.”
So, Jean-Claude Juncker, as Luxemburg’s Finance Minister and Prime Minister, oversees the illegal, (under EU law), practice of enticing companies into the country by reducing their tax liability. The EU, under Jean-Claude Juncker, is now suing Luxemburg for carrying out the actions he over saw.
The BBC should have this on the front page of their Web Site news, not hidden away.
Seems to still be open but comments stopped a while ago.
He clarifies in the next, but at 139:

If I am not mistaken, in this thread, I questioned why the BBC was calling the “EU”, “Europe”. Someone else also commented about this, that the BBC was trying to induce a bias towards remaining – my comment and theirs have been apparently deleted – is there any reasonable and satisfactory explanation to what is going on?”
Others also asking questions, which the BBC will not answer because, well, they are the BBC.

Why is the BBC calling “the EU”, “Europe”?//
It’s tenth on the best rated comments
“However, on the other side of Birmingham Mo who married his second wife without the consent of his first wife is now struggling to keep his two wives happy, he has to face the consequences of his actions and make a heart wrenching decision. It’s not just men deciding to take second wives – Aisha a divorced mother of three started an affair with a married man. When he wanted to divorce his first wife and marry Aisha, although flattered said she simply didn’t want a full time husband, she wanted to be a second wife.

This morning, hand-wringing over the sixth consecutive month of falling car sales.
At lunchtime, air pollution is failing to meet targets.
Well, if the car fleet is not expanding and in fact shrinking and not becoming as new as everyone expected, then the old cars that did not breach pollution levels over two years ago cannot be responsible for the past two years failures to meet air standards.
What could it be? BBC and Roger Harrabin are not interested in finding out. They blame the car. Which is obviously is not causing the problem. Dim, or what?
One probable culprit will be the increasing roll-out of 20mph speed limits. The BBC, unfortunately, haven’t noticed. Increasing congestion in cities because of more cycling and more cycle lanes? Nope, not spotted that one either.
£3.7bn a year, thousands of journalists who don’t journo out to see what’s going on.
Pollution levels are not up
They are 75% down on 30 years ago
One thing is the UN limits are arbitrary and don’t represent a proven line between safe and dangerous
It’s just that UN law only has only existed a few years.
I am correct by official government figures.
Recession is not the root of road emissions falling cos miles driven has risen
Most roads lie within in the law, but there are certain hotspot junctions.
It’s important to realise that what counts is what enters your lungs not cumulative total from a road side monitor.
Demand (by non-Islamic people) rises for education in Islamic finance {ft.com nov2016}
Non-Muslim business students seek to understand sharia-compliant deals
…
George Osborne , when he was the British chancellor, pledged to make London the world centre for the Islamic finance industry after the UK became the first country outside the Muslim world to issue an Islamic bond, known as sukuk, in 2014.
…
‘The first chapter of the course does explain what is correct and what is incorrect under sharia law, but this is not a course for academics,” she says, adding that so far no former sociology students have applied to her programme.’
Your mind is always yours, possibly the one thing you can keep until the end. But it did make me think about daily routine …
1. Islam asks for one simple thing. Islam asks for everything – finance, religion, police, morals, schools, law, food, science, clothes, art, your body and your daily routine to be Islamic.

Well, I suppose the argument would be, the social workers on the ground floor/’coalface’ did their job but it was the management imbeciles that did nothing………….
You have two countries named:
a) Dental-Checks-On-Age-For-Migrants
b) Everyone-Welcome-No-Checks-Required
Q1) Now say you have 2000 migrants who have to decide which country to go to, either Dental-Checks-On-Age-For-Migrants or Everyone-Welcome-No-Checks-Required.
Which one would the migrants choose?
Q2) Now say you have 100 criminal migrants who have to decide which country to go to, either Dental-Checks-On-Age-For-Migrants or Everyone-Welcome-No-Checks-Required.
Which one would the criminal migrants choose?
Q3) Now say an adult crime happens in one of the countries.
Which country will know (not with absolute certainty) that the crime was not committed by a child migrant?
Q4) Now say you have 2000 migrants who know that if you are labelled as a child you get 100% care and immediate access no questions asked.
Which country would they go to?
Either Dental-Checks-On-Age-For-Migrants or Everyone-Welcome-No-Checks-Required.
And although they’re offered asylum in France – they’re still desperate to come here because we are such a soft touch.
Why else? Because they love our culture, history, way of life, Lily Allen and Bentdick Cumberspout?
Somehow, I don’t think so.
German industry Federation is very concerned, even depressed by Brexit – hows about that then.
When Merkel has sorted her coalition of, left, right, centre and greens she needs to give Junckers, Barnier etc., a good kicking.
Absolutely no surprise here.
2001-Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the United Nations
2009-Same prize awarded to President Obama, who had yet to put his bag under the desk following the inauguration.
2016-BBC nominating itself for its Cliff Richard story that involved getting permission to film from S.Yorkshire Police-similarly in need of hounding an old Christian as he rested up in Portugal.

Blimey Putin in Saudi having a really nice time apparently . Maybe the Saudis got wind of a bit of regime change ( finally ) by the yanks and doing an Assad to get top cover . ( reported on the channel of truth RT)
Oh, what joy we had today on BBC News : Ted Heath bashing ; Treezer May smashing ; Tory smearing and sneering ; Brexit blaming ; which all left very little time for the usual dose of Trump dissing.
I cannot see the value in investigating a dead person for a crime . How does that benefit a victim . Precious taxpayers money and investigative time which will end where? If he was alive he’d be interviewed ? So would Hitler .
Al beeb continues to go over the top in the Post saville world and doesn’t mention the children abused by Muslim organised sex criminals
I was no fan of Heath either but, BBC made him their top story today and they obviously enjoyed doing so. I wonder why? Could it have been because he was a Conservative? Surely not. I find it hard to believe such a high profile figure could have escaped being discovered while he was alive…as far as I’m concerned, he’s completely innocent until proved guilty! It’s all innuendo and the BBC know they can make mischief for the Conservatives 🙁
“Heath would have been investigated, had he been alive today”.
Wouldn`t Kaufman, Benn or Crow been similarly checked had THEY been accused of the same?
In other words, a complete non-story…it`s easy to smear the dead, they don`t talk back and they can`t be put on trial…well, not today.
Maybe soon though eh?
Sorry lefty scum-Heaths a prat, but you`ve smeared Brittain, MacAlpine and Janner…less so, Harman, Hewitt, Hodge who seem to have some issues on chidcare under Labours reign of terrors in London, mid seventies.
Tom Watson eh?…would YOU let your kids meet any of Labours psychic groomers and jew-baiters?

Green Beret Who Beat Up Afghan Officer for Raping Boy Can Stay in Army {nytimes.com apr2016}
“A decorated United States Army sergeant who hit an American-backed Afghan commander for raping a boy will be allowed to remain in the military, a spokesman said Friday.”
‘…Afghan militia commander, Abdul Rahman, in 2011 after he abducted a boy and kept him chained to his bed as a sex slave. This is a great watch: Steve Bannon interviewed on “60 Minutes”, a masterclass in how to handle the MSM.
I would just love to see Justine Webb, pRick Robinson, Token Muslim, Kuntsburg or any of the other al Beebus turds try and take this chap on; he NEVER takes a backwards step or concedes ANYTHING in this whole interview, superb.
Bannon is a real thinker, and it was a tragedy that he was forced out of the WH due to the machinations of Kelly, MacMaster, Kurshner et al (all opposed to Pres. Trump’s agenda). Getting back to the BBC – scandalously, none of their principal interviewers would ever allow Bannon to speak at such length, explain in detail how he sees Trump and his policies, and develop themes. They would interrupt constantly, go off on tangents, harass their guest with what they would think are ‘killer’ points, and never allow him to complete a sentence. I hope Bannon could cope with that, but I’m not sure that anyone could survive that sort of atrocious treatment by an interviewer.
Martin – he’d cope; but I don’t think we’ll ever find out because it’s unlikely either that they’d interview him or that he’d even agree to one since he’s probably aware that the al Beebus’ view of Trump, per Justin Web, is that he is: “…a racist, narcissistic thug.”
The lunatics have been in charge of the BBC for a long time now. But day after day these Monty Python
major feature articles are getting more and more of a parody of Monty Python. Douglas Murray
talking with Sam Harris on You Tube is hilarious. ” Just because I have a pe nis ” brought me to tears of laughing.
But it is the norm every day on the BBC to have these transgender features. Just read ” I lost my male
privileges ” by a transgender. You have never read such a load of bollocks in all your life! Add the stories
about Edward Heath which is one of those ” if my auntie had balls she would be my uncle, storires” Well
actually not anymore so far as the BBC is concerned , he or she could be both my auntie and my uncle.
Then there is ” Newtons sexist comments belittle me.” A feature about an NFL player. Who gives a monkey’s ?
Apparently just the bizarre lot working at the BBC.
Speaking of ‘Nick knows’, OT but I see a former leader of a UK political party is advocating its members vote Labour to get out of the U.K. And back in the EU.
Going back to BBC Breakfast this morning
Charlie Stayt once more showing what a complete prick he is
Whilst interviewing Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Greg Clark, regarding the various mishaps during the PM’s speech and the current energy tariff he showed once again how rude and arrogant he is. You could visibly see him responding to some prick talking in on his earpiece trying their hardest to embarrass and trip up the MP. (Maxi?) This was not reporting. Just a childish attempt to undermine the government once again. Absolutely disgraceful.
The smirk on his face to Nagga showed it all at the end of the interview.
I’m surprised that the BBC didn’t make more of that other ‘prankster’ at the Conservative’s conference.
She appeared briefly on PM when she told us that Mrs. May was “too right-wing”.
Eddie Mairs nasty and sly little excuse of a driveby show hits a new low every day. After his appalling bias yesterday regarding Boris Johnson-well, his editor had Brexit in his sights by way of a carry over.
So under the false flag of a “weekly Brexit roundup”…we got some “news headlines from the rest of Europe” regarding Mays performance at the party conference.
El Pais said she was crap, as did Die Welt…as did Le Monde and Le Soir. Quelle surprise!
Now then.
After Catelonia, after Merkels shambles and the rise of the AfD, after Marseilles and national strikes and Junkers role in Luxembourg tax deals with Amazon…respectively…might you not think that this bundle of crisis-led nations might be better served watching what`s happening in their own nations and not sneering at Mays nonsense of yesterday?
Well yes, but the BBC aren`t going to look into all this, they want Corbyn in, Sharia from Brussels and a quiet life gated away from what they`re doing to the rest of us.
Still need to work out whether we need to deal with the Red Guard before we take on the Red Brigade. The BBC houses both, and we need to get ready to deal with them.
After yesterday’s performance, a nasty verbal assault on the Home Secretary, a rubbish item from their mate in Australia and a pile of pap about their sixty years past its sell-by date ‘everyday story’ of Islington fantasists, I decided I would give PM a miss, (probably for good).
There are some quite good videos about British engineering on YouTube by Chris Barrie, (he can be a bit silly at times though). It makes a change to see people with some pride, (not the rainbow sort), in their country and their compatriots.
Stew, gritted my teeth to watch it. I wish the remain audience were asked whether any of them benefit directly for EU ( uk taxpayers ) funds or has a partner who is non British – like kinnock and thus has a personal interest.
The other interesting line remainers is about the young. Well if the young don’t like it they can wait for the brexiters ( who every one assumes are “old ‘ when I’d say “grown up” ) to die of then when the young get older as it were they can vote to go back into their cursed EU .
It was nice to see that windbag – Jon Nicholson who must have been such an awful snp mp to lose his seat.
Don’t here much of the snp while oil is around $55 do we. ?
Never saw the end cos there is more important stuff – England footy.
Aren`t there rules about impartiality, even for the Godawful Channel 4 from Bath?
When were the liberal media allowed to go feral and act solely in the cause of reversing the biggest national survey of whether this country wanted to stay in the European Union?
Beeb website is complaining there are not enough female Nobel prize winners. We all know men on the whole prefect subjects such as physics and therefore they are more likely to win prizes in that field. So what? Where is the victim here? My girlfriend is better at interior design than me – I can’t stand it. Should I cry because I will never win a prize for interior design? Of course not.
Equality of opportunity is noble but equality of outcome – which the Beeb believes in – is ridiculous and unfair.
Can’t they just leave one thing alone? The Oscars are ruined after they moaned about it being too white and they gave the best picture film to that abomination Moonlight. How patronising for the makers of the film. And how unfair for other non black film makers. One could name countless similar examples. Is this their next goal – make is so Nobel prizes must be awarded on the basis of gender or race rather than achievement?
If only we could be judged solely on the content of our characters.
If only we could be judged solely on the content of our characters.
That is the “progressive” Left’s worst nightmare. It would mean that everyone would have to take responsibility for their own lives, and the Left would be out of a job.
Not BBC per se but closely linked in terms of public sector ‘expectations’ and ‘entitlements’.
Back page of Telegraph. A few job ads.
New College Oxford requires a Home Bursar, a ‘senior role’, owing to the retirement of the current incumbent after …..23 years !!
The Isle of Wight NHS requires two Consultant Radiologists. There is no ‘on call’, and ‘the Trust is happy to consider flexible working in support of work/life balance’.
Yep. It’s just so tough in the public sector. A pay rise is surely deserved.
Meanwhile in ‘pull up the barricades’ mode.
The National Crime Agency is looking to pay Investigator recruits around £25 to 30k.
Not exhorbitant but…..’ candidates will need to provide examples of their experience investigating serious and complex crime’
So not open to the private sector at all, then.
Personally I would have thought people with R and D experience outside the public sector could be good candidates, with track records of not accepting the obvious at face value but looking to assemble results (aka evidence) to construct a coherent hypothesis.
But obviously not.
An associate of mine had worked in the aircraft industry but had moved to ‘the public sector’. A candidate from the aircraft industry applied to ‘the public sector’ and my associate was on the interview panel. The candidate was rejected because ‘he lacked project management experience’, as evidenced by his CV. My associate argued that he had personal knowledge of the work that the candidate must have done and ‘project management’ was a key part of it. His objections were overuled as there was ‘no evidence’ to support that on the CV.
The job was given to someone who had never worked in project management but who had woven key words into his CV on the basis that he had ‘designed’, ‘procured’, ‘planned’ and ‘executed’ the fitting out of his kitchen with units from B&Q.
Your post is indirectly about the Bbc though as the NCA are obviously trying to appeal to this particular arm of the public sector as the Bbc is recognised, by increasing numbers of its ‘ stakeholders ‘, as the world leader in the field of R and D.
BBC-Messages : the way BBC pretends to be giving you News and Drama
..but fills it with brainwashing messages
e.g. Look North Hull 6.40pm Q”Now in the fourth of series on local Muslims Nadia goes to York to speak with Habib from a family of white converts”
This is “MoreEqualThanOthers” treatment cos I have seen to special items on other religions/atheism, particularly about ex-Muslims who have left cos they have seen the negatives.
Meanwhile in Libland Sheffield the university has excluded a Cameroonian Christian from his course cos he asserted privately on Facebook that he thinks homosexuality is a sin.
.. Do they treat Muslims the same ?
So it turns out that @sheffielduni defended Fadel Solimon speaking the uni yet removed Felix Ngole from his MA for having Christian views pic.twitter.com/fST4lQmCph
I heard Pre-Owned Jones in a debate with some Tory haggette on Jeremy Swine’s show today about whether we should feel sympathy for TM after all of yesterday’s f**k ups.
O.J. said that no we shouldn’t but we should feel sympathy for all the “gay refugees” who had been refused the right to remain here by TM, even though they could face persecution in their home countries due to their sexual proclivities.
This was apparently particularly egregious behaviour by the PM in Jones’ view, since these gentlemen had gone to the trouble of making a charming little film of themselves having sex with each other, to prove they were homosexual, which they sent to her (WTF?); yet she remained strangley unswayed by such subtle cinematic machinations.
Owen Goal seemed mightily steamed up about this (it was the first reason he gave when attacking her) possibly because he hadn’t managed to get hold of a copy? Jezza Vile attempted to give the (weak) Toryette the last word but Jones managed (was allowed) to butt in at the end and had, in fact, monopolized most of the discussion before then.
Al,
“these gentlemen had gone to the trouble of making a charming little film of themselves having sex with each other, to prove they were homosexual, which they sent to her (WTF?);”
Couldn’t that be construed as some sort of sexual harassment? Imagine someone sending your mum a gay-porn video.
I know someone who will be staying at the Jury Inn Hotel in Southampton. I checked Google maps for shopping around the area – and the nearest things to it were all mosques – three of them – all within a few minutes walk: The Shah Jalal Mosque The Masjid Abu Bakr The Southampton Central Mosque
There was also various Islamic bookstores and charity shops.
I suppose there must be a large Islamic community in Southampton? Things are rapidly being Islamified.
In Islam you must give at least 2.5% of your wealth each year to charity (called zakat) – but that charity is ring fenced for the Islamic community, or for defending the Islamic community or for expanding the Islamic community. It can’t go into helping starving Africans for example, unless it is part of a process of converting them to Islam.
And not the slightest concern from local or national government what this does to the local native population whose towns & neighbourhoods are no longer their own. Same old-‘you’re- a-racist- if- you-object’ routine
A good portion of zakat goes toward funding terrorism.
Part of the DEC group is ‘Islamic Relief‘ who offer charity around the world, but seem to be Muslim focused disasters.
‘Islamic Relief‘ – promoted by BBC £3.5bn News Service, used charity money to promote Islam on London buses, HSBC bank dropped dealings with them, the UK government (taxpayer) funded them and they publicised a hate preacher. {old post – buying the rope to hang you…}
Essentially Lucy, by the BBC promoting DEC and thus the Islamic Relief Charity with money you provided (and myself) under threat of prison and as a UK taxpayer giving the charity money (via Government agreement that you never agreed to) you are indirectly, but now knowingly (as am I) paying Zakat.
Taxation without representation is tyranny definition.
“…people living on a pension of 1100 Euros, 900 Euros, whereas it costs 1300 to look after a migrant for a month. It’s time to stop migration. Thank you.” – Annemans MEP – Belgian Nationalist
Emily-the-Madpiece does her Newsnight trailer : “Churchill said we will fight them on the beaches, with the next round of Navy spending cuts that may no longer be possible”
Really ?? there’s some RAF blokes sitting in a village in Lincolnshire flying drones over Afghanistan.
BUT we lack the political permission to fly the drones around our own borders keeping the illegals out.
It seems that Theresa May’s cough was self-inflicted. The day before her important speech she apparently went on numerous speeches to rally different conservative groups and had about 25 interviews. David Cameron would ensure before a big speech that he would protect his voice, by resting it beforehand.
So it seems another example of Theresa May doing her own thing, without taking advice from those with experience.
It reinforces the growing evidence that she is not a natural leader, and perhaps a disaster of a leader. The result is that the Labour Party are being given a free ride and that insufficient scrutiny is being given to their credentials. Jeremy Corbyn with his “positive” messages is running rings around her as leader.
It seems clear that Theresa is a weak leader, possibly a disastrous leader. The question now is who can replace her. Who is strong enough to come through the wave of media discrediting all the potential replacements in their desire to ensure a Jeremy Corbyn – Dianne Abbott government following the next general election.
Surely all that is needed is a strong – robust Tory leader to redirect the spotlight back on the inadequacies of the current Labour Party. In my view Jacob Rees-Mogg is not prepared to be the leader, he is someone more interested in supporting a leader and in developing policy. So who do you think, if anyone, would be better than Theresa May, in steering Britain through the Brexit process AND ensuring Corbyn – Abbott don’t form the next government?
Ps I would be prepared for the Government to propose an extension to the Brexit process if that means giving time for the Tories to reorganise (post Cameron) to get a strong-robust leader and leadership team into place – that will route the Corbyn – Abbott Labour Party at the next General Election and create a strong vision of a post Brexit Britain.
Ps – I would also consider adding strong figures from the military and from Business into the cabinet. There are just too many weak careerist politicians – and this is partly the reason for the current crisis we have in leadership in this country.
pps: In my view a Corbyn – Abbott Government at the next general election would be a far greater disaster for Britain than any delay in the Brexit negotiations.
Prettier Patel , Kwawazie something , the new girl who gets mistaken for Labour and one or two others like that .
The common thread ? Yes , non white , minority ethnic etc , but by god patriotic .
May is only the latest in a bunch of ineffective, irrelevant clueless pigmies who`ve done nothing in life-but found a political party to moulder in.
Maybe we need a league table…Is May worse than Heath, better than Brown-or vice versa?
Thatcher at least had competence and principle for much of her premiership, Blair at least destroyed this country more than any other political leader in line with soft creeping cod-marxist slimings.
We`ve got the low grade, high bore leadership that reflects how lazy and thick we`ve become as a demos.
In truth, always reckoned that a far left grab for power ends in a terrfying far right backlash, based on their need to reset the socialist evils that they`re lumbered with. Hitler came from Mussolini, The Red Brigade left us with Italian far right fascism who behaved in a similar way to what they`d seen the left get away with.
The BBC are playing a very dangerous game. We know now that the left can get away with all they`re doing-and we`re getting no outlets to be confined to words.
It may soon be a patriotic duty to put the lying media shills into a borrowed wicca casket…they need to think on being balanced once more, this cannot go on as Islam thinks THEY speak for us.
We’d better do all we can to ensure Corbs gets into No 10 then.
If it ultimately means all the Marxists and cultural Marxists will be swept away: then bring it on!
BBc “news” at ten. Obviously May features. Despite not living in America we get the ban guns line. Car sales are down. at the end of this they do actually have some members of the public who’s comments cover what is probably the real reason I suspect for the drop in sales. After all who wants to buy a brand new diesel car when the BBc amongst others cheer-leads to get them removed from the highway.
10pm BBC1 news reports about the number of children in temporary accommodation. There was a man in work with his student wife (non British born) who had been evicted though ‘no fault of their own’. I am lucky, I have never been evicted. I would have appreciated an explanation. We also had a black woman, in tears, because her daughter has to go to school on an empty stomach because school is too far away. Now most schools I know offer a breakfast club, some giving a free breakfast, some at a nominal cost. The other alternative would be for her daughter to get up 5 minutes earlier, or even a banana on the run (cost about 10pence). Of course the reason why there is a shortage of temporary accommodation for these children is the vicious cuts. Perhaps the number of recently arrived people may have had an effect, but the BBC never mentioned that.
Deborah. Yes once again the effects of mass immigration are not even hinted about. If the evil private land lords are evicting who are they filling their properties with to pay their mortgages. Mrs Dave & I had a conversation on the other point you noted about breakfast clubs. Are we supposed to believe there are not “free” meals being handed out in schools in that area? I also liked the caps mean rents can no longer be afforded ( cap with children £500 per week. £26K p.a.) Why should these people have their wages boosted tax free up to that figure and beyond by Mr Taxpayer.

As we look to Brexit and trade with the ‘real world’ we will need the RN more than ever.
So the latest odds for PM?
Boris Johnson 3 to 1
Jacob Rees-Mogg 7 to 1
My money is on Rees-Mogg, (a nice little earner) .
Hi Taffman, maybe Britain should bring in Geert Wilders? I think the last time someone Dutch was brought over to take control was William of Orange in 1688. Then in the 18th century there were the Georges from Hanover. Are there any welsh politicians you can suggest with fire in their bellies to lead and defend Britain? Wasn’t Henry the VIII of welsh stock – he would put rampant feminism back in its box.

How did BBC “diversity” get to mean that the presenters of the R4 Media Show, R4 Lunchtime news and the One Show are the SAME PERSON : Amol Rajan ?
PS anyone heard of the film Hollywood Shuffle , where every Hollywood producer decides their film needs an “Eddie Murphy character” meaning black actors can’t get jobs cos Eddie Murphy’s taken all ?
StewGreen: How did BBC “diversity” get to mean that the presenters of the R4 Media Show, R4 Lunchtime news and the One Show are the SAME PERSON : Amol Rajan
Because diversity has been reduced to a box ticking exercise. It doesn’t contain the name of the individual. It doesn’t contain the competence of the individual nor the education of the individual. Diversity means “non-white”, “non-straight”, “non-male”, “non-English heritage”, “non – Christian”, “non-Catholic” et cetera. So we end up with Amol Rajan, Nadiya Hussain and the like multiple times.
Diversity in practice means take over, a take over and replacement of traditional English and British culture. A revolution has been occurring in plain view but it has not been recognised – because it is disguised under the name of “diversity”.
and that shindig in malta that he was pontificating at was all organised by the The EU and explains why the beeb and sky were hanging on his every word. Sky has become the propaganda arm of the green party in their obsession with plastics. We will break you is the message
I too can talk for 10 minutes about the climate and planet and lovely things and say nothing.
This is not a skill it is a waste of time ….
1) How did you get here – what was your mode of transport?
2) When was the last time you sailed across the atlantic using wind power instead of taking a jet plane?
3) Who made your suit? What was the cost of it all in terms of material and transportation and labour? How much did you pay for it?
4) You are wasting energy by talking … please stop .. think of the children, the children’s children and the children’s children’s children… (I win because I kept mentioning children more than Prince Charles!)
Toady this morning says we can learn from Muslim families how to treat our elders better.
I wonder if there is anything Muslim families could learn from white British families and if the Beeb would ever report on it?
Don’t create no go zones.
Don’t circumcise your daughters.
If your daughter does something to upset you, maybe just have a quiet word rather than murder her.
Don’t rape and torture school children – a bit of a faux pas. And if you know of someone who is doing it, maybe tell the Police.
Don’t threaten to kill anyone who has different opinions to you, thereby forcing the host government to pass Draconian thought crime laws.
Take responsibility when members of your faith have murdered 460 people over the last 3 years in Europe; show that you are doing everything humanly possibly to eradicate such evil, rather than playing the victim and claiming someone looking at you harshly is worse than murdering children with a nail bomb. Why don’t millions of you march on London against terror and have a zero tolerance approach to anyone promoting extremism? Because terrorism really is not cool – that is one thing you could definitely learn from us.
Learning from cultures is a one way street. Western Civilization has done nothing but evil.
Could it be that women in certain cultures are forced to stay at home and look after their families? Could it be that they get care allowances thus making it financially viable?
…
“Be it so. This burning of widows (India/suttee) is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. Let us all act according to national customs.” – Charles James Napier on the subject of suttee {wiki}

Where my parent’s house is situated there are a lot of Asians moving in. Actually before they move in the house and gardens are stripped and extensive building works take place.
Within a mile or so are several well-established builder’s suppliers. When I was growing up in that area it was their trucks that were seen around dropping off sand and bricks for the D-I-Y enthusiasts. They still call at the older neighbours but the new neighbours must be using the Karachi ‘yellow pages’ to find their suppliers and builders!
We do wonder if these tradespeople know and abide by the local building regulations but in any case using the existing tradesmen must be the easiest way of integrating with the host community. How do BBC staff get building work done on their French farmhouses and Italian villas?

That’s the problem with left wing people I’m afraid. They never know when to stop pushing. They are quite content to load the gun then watch while someone else pulls the trigger. If anyone dares to fight back it is because they are a right wing nut job. That is why after almost a lifetime of believing their jargon I lost faith.
That’s the problem with left wing people I’m afraid. They never know when to stop pushing.
I would say rather that they can’t stop pushing. Because they have concluded that ‘fixing the world’ is the way to make them feel better about themselves, but of course it never does, so they have to go and ‘fix’ something else.
They would do far better to try and fix their own wretched and miserable selves. But that would mean being able to admit that they are not perfect.
Spot on Rick
They really believe that because they themselves have been perfected and have got all the answers, they are entitled to spend other people’s money to perfect the rest of us. I would replace the word perfect with infect.
Do they ever report on a single event without politicising it? Even if they reported on a leaf falling from a tree they would manage to shoehorn in some anti Tory or Trump message, or somehow blame the lack of women caring for trees.

It’s worth reading, both for Prof Bono’s informed opinions and to remind ourselves that such opinions are never represented on the BBC – however authoritative and well researched they may be.

Download and run it from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/get-iplayer/
A pop up window opens, it has a desktop icon, and will take a few mins to index current BBC programmes.
Next go to the BBC iplayer site, and get the episode url address,eg
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p05fzldm/blue-planet-ii-the-prequel
use this template:
get_iplayer “abcd” –get –modes=best –subtitles
And copy the tv / radio url tight into where abcd is now, replacing abcd, but leaving the ” ” so it looks like this.
get_iplayer “http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p05fzldm/blue-planet-ii-the-prequel” –get –modes=best –subtitles
Then copy and paste all that line into the get iplayer window. Maybe Press enter on keyboard, to wake it up, It will find the prog after a min or two and start downloading it as a permanent mp4.

http://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-41502661/100-women-i-transitioned-and-lost-my-male-privilege
(below taken from the BBC webshite)

BBC – You couldn’t make it up Dept.

The husband and wife become only the second and third people in Sweden to be convicted under a special forced marriage law, enacted in 2014.

Social Work-like teaching, like Council executives are simply in a branch of self love, endless awards and puff ups-as opposed to teaching, keeping kids from being abused or emptying bins.
So beige, my dears-this is showbiz.
They`re mocking us-they will always choose the most offensive(or consciousness-raising) event to award themselves-and thereby insult and trash the white chavs and civilians who pay for it all.

I should add – I was no fan of Mr Heath – he after all – is guilty of taking us into the EU on a lie and being beaten by the miners .
But investigating dead people ? If police can afford to do that their budget is too big .

It’s all in the CV.
Of course they only had his word for it.

I know someone who will be staying at the Jury Inn Hotel in Southampton. I checked Google maps for shopping around the area – and the nearest things to it were all mosques – three of them – all within a few minutes walk:
The Shah Jalal Mosque
The Masjid Abu Bakr
The Southampton Central Mosque
There was also various Islamic bookstores and charity shops.
I suppose there must be a large Islamic community in Southampton? Things are rapidly being Islamified.
In Islam you must give at least 2.5% of your wealth each year to charity (called zakat) – but that charity is ring fenced for the Islamic community, or for defending the Islamic community or for expanding the Islamic community. It can’t go into helping starving Africans for example, unless it is part of a process of converting them to Islam.

However, far from being an anachronism, he (Mogg) embodies the three things that many people require of modern politicians: a veneer of authenticity; an ability to cut through perceived liberal wisdom; and enormous privilege that is flaunted, rather than hidden. Think of Farage the stockbroker and his gormless, rich backers. Think of Boris Johnson, a bullying clown with no shame. Think of Trump, a rampaging malignant ego, a dollar-bill nihilist. The threat of these men has been minimised by regarding them as a bit of a joke, a bit of colour in the bland world of technocrats. They are “characters”.

Could it be that women in certain cultures are forced to stay at home and look after their families? Could it be that they get care allowances thus making it financially viable?
…
“Be it so. This burning of widows (India/suttee) is your custom; prepare the funeral pile. But my nation has also a custom. When men burn women alive we hang them, and confiscate all their property. My carpenters shall therefore erect gibbets on which to hang all concerned when the widow is consumed. Let us all act according to national customs.”
– Charles James Napier on the subject of suttee {wiki}

Does the ‘British dream’ actually exist? (05oct2017 – day old – stale news)

Behind the headlines:
Does this man (President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan) have ‘the worst job on Earth’?
– worst job? Interview Ashraf Ghani on his morals, beliefs, homosexuals and using children as things to rape. Ask if it’s ok to draw a cartoon of anything or write a book of fiction without a whole country setting a death threat on the author. Could it be the culture and beliefs are what make it the ‘worst job on Earth’?
Protestor in viral EDL image becomes photographer
– check the story BBC and the footage. ‘The EDL said she interrupted a minute’s silence for terror attack victims, but Ms Khan denied this.’. Who is the protagonist? Note that then using the letters EDL everyone gets an automatic shudder down their spin. The women is given immediate victim status.
Trump Puerto Rico paper towel-throwing ‘abominable’
– Abominable – causing moral revulsion. How about standing in a mosque ala Trudeau and saying diversity is our strength and I’m a feminist whilst speaking to a segregated crowd of women who are out of the way on a high balcony? I would consider that would cause a ‘moral revulsion’. Throwing towels – a publicity stunt?

Our humph (£650k pa) gave his game away talking about how to get rid of a woman pm – apparently there have to be a number of conservative MPs to come forward to get a leadership vote. He said “ so we only need 48.’ .. then corrected it to ‘they . ‘
Our John is well past his sell by so gives more clues about his lefty bias I’m thinking he might retire on the 50th anniversary of Toady – no doubt to be replaced by someone black because they haven’t got a token one of them.

Now we are doing racism…what strikes me is how racism seems to only go one way on the BBC White to BAME. and prejudice Christian to Muslim…where is the racism and prejudice that occurs Black to White and prejudice Muslim to anyone, including within the muslim community?
I am getting sick of the BBC just constantly bashing the bulk of the UK as racists small minded bigots…and everyone else as harmonious open hearted ..
apparently “most white people don’t have ‘people of colour” in their friendship circle…I am sorry – is that a fact and why put it that way around? Why not most people of colour – or Muslims don’t have White people or Christians in their circle of friends…
I despair…

‘I despair…’ – I can’t remember who said it on this site, but just look at the BBC as a comedy generator and laugh.
You are paying £145 per month, under the threat of prison for the best fantasy content provider in the World – because of the unique way it is funded. And the people in the comedy don’t realise it is a comedy!
100 Women: ‘I transitioned and lost my male privilege’ {bbc.co.uk 05oct2017}

Or how many Muslims actually have a Christmas card list !!!!
Yes, I’m a white person who doesn’t have ‘people of colour’ in my circle – So ????? l’m certainly not going to bloody apologise for it. Anyway, you don’t actually get them queuing up to register for local Amdrams ! , and very few (if any) are seen out walking their dogs. Its like same sex and mixed race partnerships, I only know they exist because the television and media tells me they do. Would having people of other orientations enhance my life ? nah, happy as I am thanks.

Or the BBC can politicise a chocolate orange … UK Brexit plan ‘could fall apart at first tap like chocolate orange’ {bbc.co.uk jul2017
“The government’s “vague” Brexit plan has been compared to a “chocolate orange” by the boss of the UK’s public spending watchdog.”
…BBC let slip some good news …
“We took the decision to bring in a new declaration system before the EU referendum, but the service remains fully capable of dealing with how the UK’s exit from the EU will impact on customs declarations at the border.”
