The BBC has really shat the bed when it comes to Trump. They’re so unbalanced in their reporting, refusing even a modicum of a pretence of fairness, that it’s having the opposite effect. More and more people are realising that their account cannot possibly be accurate, especially when compared to their fawning and uncritical praise for Obama and Clinton. Not to mention, people are already becoming wiser to their agendas thanks to their Brexit coverage and obsession with regressive identity politics.
Today they had an article pandering to the inane and discredited assertions that he should be removed from office. Their hubris is ultimately their downfall, along with their sneering contempt for the taxpayer who they think is too stupid to realise what they’re doing.
ALM – I, along with all here I’m sure, reflect the sentiment but “…more and more are realising…”? I so want to believe this but where’s the evidence? Here in the UK too many people failed to reject the communist mantra of the LP in the last election to convince me of an enlightened electorate. Firstly we are to apparently take the word of a citizen as equal if not above that of the POTUS as he apparently ‘denied’ her assertion as opposed to the reporting that she ‘claimed’ .. ( it was reported as ‘she said’).
Burley asked of the foreign correspondent to our credulity .. ‘so Trump is picking a fight with a war widow’. More waffle, then the correspondent says that ‘surely if there were nothing in this story they would have put it behind them by now’ …. yes Sky make this their second lead story and bang on about it but apparently it is the fault of the WH that the story is still going on!
