Where is the BBC outrage and claims of police brutality and racism? Is it because the ‘victim’ is a distinct hue of white and has an Hispanic name rather than being black?
Can’t see the slightest mention on the BBC website….why the lack of interest from a BBC that is usually so intent on starting a race war? How many white police officers were killed because #blacklivesmatter and the lies that were spread by the likes of the BBC?

Well, slavery may have long gone, but apprehending someone because they could be up to no good, simply because they’re black is still police policy in much of the land.

Blacks in America are treated the same as everyone, as long as Blacks behave like everyone.
Such is not the case in Africa, where Blacks are treated far worse then any other. That is why Black Africans are streaming across the Med., not caring how they are treated in Europe or America, as they know it will be far better then Africa.
I have a job and obey the law so I have good relations with the Police.
Everyone wants an easy time at work. Why would Police officers seek out innocent minorities to harass knowing all the legal trouble and violence that would entail? I’m sure the last thing in the world they would want is too have to arrest some violent criminal but when it’s your job you have no choice.

There appears to be clear breaches of police arrest procedure there. You would think the BBC would be anxious to ask questions about that, especially in view of Tasers being deployed (and increasingly used?) by British Police forces. Did we not have some fatalities here around the time of the Valenzuela arrest in 2016?

Mostly BBC is an advertising platform used by NGOs who pressure it to copyNpaste their material.

In a just world NGOs wouldn’t be racist and focus only on raising issues to do with one race, they’d be exposing ALL police injustice no matter the skin colour of the victims.
Yes, Stew, and on the other side of the country in Florida, Hispanics (and Blacks) chose to vote for Donald Trump in quite large numbers. I hope he stands up for them. Eight years of Obama seemed to do the BAME community in the US not much good at all.
This incident occurred during his Presidency. It appears to have been a very divisive one, BBC.
After some time passes, will the BBC will be bothered to do an analysis of the Obama adminstrations? I can’t say I’ve heard anything on radio. Have they produced anything for TV?
