The BBC were ecstatic yesterday as it thought Brexit was broken by May’s double dealing….getting a bit shriller today as the Remain joy is dashed….ironically by the BBC’s own reporting of the slippery concession May made to the IRA.
Lots to talk about I’m sure…list it all here…..
I’d just like to introduce a little light relief, after all the Brexit angst, into the mix.
We’ve just had that annual love fest for the lefty art establishment, the ( utterly ridiculous) Turner Prize.
I used to find this pretentious, back slapping claptrap immensely irritating. Just watching these preening poseurs picking up enormous and undeserved prize money drove me up the wall. Now I just laugh at it.
This year’s winner is 63 year old Lubaina Himid, “a woman of colour” and the oldest person to take the prize.
Her “art” seems to consist primarily of old editions of the Guardian (natch!) with some of her images splodged over the headlines. There were also a few pots with black people painted on them.
Most of her contributions looked as though a seven year old could have done them but they come with a political angle, a sort of “Black Lives Matter” for the art establishment.
The Guardian (and the Beeb) have told us that Lubaina has been “overlooked for most of her life.” The majority of her art was made during her “wilderness years.”
Take a gander at this year’s Turner Prize and I think you’ll understand why her art has been overlooked.
It’s crap!

Ah well, you see Jeff your reaction is understandable but, in essence, so typical of the uninformed. It is a sad fact that so few have the depth of understanding, the nuanced appreciation, that fine level of mental tuning to allow the momentous message Hamid’s work brings to the artistic world to fully impinge – and thereby embrace the psyche of those gifted enough to be counted among today’s true disciples. In short, if you will allow me to suggest, BBC2 and the Guardian will enable you to start on the journey of self-awareness.
Be strong, be resolute, be like Will Gompertz.

PS I think it fair to add that Will Gompertz credentials – have to confess, not sure how to apostrophise a ‘z’ – whatever, his credentials rely heavily on being an acquaintance of Alan Yentob together with walking up and down Dover street occasionally.
As a student at the Central School, back in the 60s, I too walked and wondered in Dover street, the experience planting the very firm, and I believe, educated impression that ‘modern art’ is absurdly over-valued and self-centered garbage and has been for decades. It is sold by the same sort of people who infect PR, advertising, the media and most especially the BBC.

Mishal Hussain interviewed the winning artist Lubaina Himid on BBC R4 Today this morning. The Professor of Contemporary Art at the University of Central Lancashire’s pots run the standard post-colonial guilt themes: Bristol / Liverpool all built on slavery, black faces on whitey’s-trad-shaped crockery, ooh the irony!
Also Today ran an extended PR piece on behalf of hipster ROP-ers, featuring (i) a right-on halal farmstead in Oxfordshire where they whisper the Islamic incantation to the animals prior to slaughter; and (ii) a young American female muslim who has set up an app that delivers quotes & interpretation from the Koran to one’s mobile device.
I and – I suspect – many others, would have appreciated a more interrogative approach. What exactly is un-Islamic about “so-called” Islamic state? What do those interviewed know about “Taqiya”?
Later in the day – after 9am – we had an earnest prog about the importance of combating “fake news”!
It had been a long car journey, and by that stage I was shouting at the radio : – D
Then a news item on the discovery of a bomb & knife plot to murder the PM. No mention of the ROP but the suspect’s name was a giveaway.
P.S. last night’s PM featured an interview with the grandfather of a victim of the Manchester attacks. IHO one of the main problems is shortage funding for the police. Border control and ROP ideology didn’t get a mention. I feel for him, but victim-hood does not necessarily bestow expertise, and al-Beeb shouldn’t pretend it does.

Re your earlier comments about, and links to, the ‘investigation’ into Trump/Russia, TPO, for which many thanks, the big problem seems to be Sessions. In particular, him recusing himself from the Russian investigations, setting the scene for Rosenstein to appoint Mueller. From there on the appointment of a stream of ‘impartial’ lawyers, about as ‘impartial’ as our own dear BBC, to the Mueller team. Half of them Democratic donors. And people like SHTRONK.
Food for thought: here in the UK we don’t have a Trump at the helm. But we do have a lot of people like Sessions in the UK cabinet. And they would be the good news, as -over the hill- waits Jeremy.

Can’t say I know much about any of the others, except Humphrys, who is well pst his listen-to-date but there’s a damn good hospital in desperate need of funds if we can get them all to fuck off.

0. Islam asks you to have zero thought about it’s origins and practices. And make zero comparisons with successful cultures.
1. Islam asks for one simple thing. Islam asks for everything – finance, religion, police, morals, schools, law, food, science, clothes, art and your body to be Islamic.
2. Islam only has two problems – Muhammed and Mohammed. Once the first problem has been solved then the second one can be solved easily.
3. Islam offers three things. In the Koran it offers Peace, War and then a Continuation of War. In your life Islam wants you to subjugate yourself, subjugate your family and then subjugate everyone else.
– Just found a reason to add zero. “FOXNEWS: British media are reporting that two men (terrorists) due in court on terror charges plotted to assassinate (Islamic method: bomb and cut her head off) Prime Minister Theresa May.”

Stew,
Certainly sounded like it the last time I walked through our town.
A Polish family have just bought the house opposite me, good area, not cheap, so I was surprised it was bought by foreign nationals. There are several houses around me, a well established and aspired to private estate we had to work on moving to when finding our second marital home, that are rented to Poles as older residents die and inheritors wait for the values to increase before they sell.
Their youngest child was born here, starts school next year, not a word of English. He’s a mechanic, she’s a chlldminder working from home with what seem to be all Polish kids, so with cash-in-hand jobs like that you have to wonder how a mortgage was secured. Still, there are worse neighbours to have.

As a childminder she will be being paid for by U.K. taxpayer subsidising the childcare costs of those other Polish mothers.

Yes Peter, or black market cleaning, catering, shop or warehouse jobs, often part-time. Many of the legitimate low skilled jobs will also be part-time with one person taking two or three on top of their child benefit and tax credits. Although there are many who don’t seem to work at all once they qualify for benefits and start families. The Eastern European work ethic is a bit of an urban myth.
Many of these casual jobs used to be done by local teenagers or students who, in bBbc news yesterday, find it more difficult to find jobs such as these now. No shit. I don’t think this reason was mentioned by them although I’m sure Brexit was.

Rich,
Ditto the Lithuanians near me: very low paid jobs so the State is supporting the ‘tenant’ of the rented house which I find, recently, is rented to the woman alone so, with 2 children, the benefit is high. Perhaps that’s why she is able to run around in a fairly new, top of the range BMW. Moreover, I discover that her cohabitee has been with her permanently for the 5 years tenancy. No squeak from the landlord. I whistleblow to the DWP. No apparent action at all leading me to conclude that there is another set of rules for EU nationals claiming benefits.

G,
Not surprised at their apparent inaction.
If someone working in a Jobs & Benefits Office (JBO) in their Customer Enquiry Team (CET), ie, the people who deal face to face with claimants, known as customers, catches or expects someone sitting in front of them of benefits fraud or attempted fraud they have to contact the Fraud Squad, not their real name, by email using a template and this, when received by the Fraud Squad boss, is then allocated to an Investigator when one is available. This could be days or weeks and depends on the initial information received being thorough and correct, the i s dotted and ts stroked, if it is to be passed on and investigated at all. The amount of money doesn’t matter to bureaucracy, all of these possible opportunities to recover fraudulently received government monies are treated with the same level of urgency.
This happens even if the Fraud Unit are in the same building as the CET. They could be in the next room or even at the next desk. It doesn’t matter, procedures must be followed and positions justified.
No word of mouth or acting on a hunch or colleagues cooperating, it’s really all targets, and managing the workload of part-timers and jobsharers, and making sure no customers’ rights of privacy are infringed upon. It’s a culture of sixth form politics, empathy and talking shops taking precedence over action.

Thanks to this site I’m aware of the existence of Jon Sopel, the North American editor for the BBC and his virulent hate for everything about President Trump – and last night I actually got to listen to the chump for a couple of minutes while on a work break. Huw Edwards had him on to discuss the President’s intentions in moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and he asked Sopel why Trump was doing it and why now. Sopel didn’t know – “that’s a very good question, Hew, and no one I’ve spoken to in Washington seems to know.” or words to that affect. If the ignorant chump had any journalistic integrity whatsoever he would know that the U.S. Congress unanimously passed “The Jerusalem Embassy Act” way back in 1995 – it passed 374-47 in the House of Representatives and 93-5 in the Senate – but the act of actually implementing the Law has been continuously kicked down the road by every President since by the issuance of National Security waivers. Obama’s last waiver ran out at midnight December 5th, and President Trump has decided not to extend it. That is the why and the why now for the woefully ignorant Jon Sopel, Huw Edwards and everyone else at the BBC – the current President actually has a pair of testicles.

My Bible Series for Advent has LOADS of references to Jerusalem in the readings set for them. Isaiah?…the Psalms?…at least 100 thus far as i`m counting. There`ll be more i`m sure.
Funnily enough not ONE mention of Jerusalem(Al Quds) in the Koran though-clearly too far away, full of Jews and not on Muhammads satnav at all. Ah but-once the Romans booted the Jews out and to the for winds by way of punishment and exile-the “Palestinians”-subjects of the Roman province-decide that the Jews won`t be back any time soon, and took the leasehold. But NOT the Freehold-this is G-ds alone to give. And He gave it to Israel/Judah and the Jewish people. Like it or not-G-ds call, not ours.
No-Palestine is merely Jordan and Syria-it has no claim to Jerusalem apart from illegal squatting of Jewish land, once the Romans had wiped the Jews away in the mid 2nd Century. The best that Islam has is some dream that Muhammad had, as he flew off to heaven on a unicorn( maybe Emirates, not sure)from a tower in Al Quds…so it`s thought.
Ossies Dream is far more believable-he DID get to Wembley and his knees-as yet confirmed, but who`s not to say-may WELL have gone all trembly? But I`m not claiming Buenos Aires as a suburb of Melksham am I?

Chris:
Apparently Mohammed (pbuh) flew to a place he called al-Quds one night on a winged horse, as you do. Back in time for breakfast and sex with a nine year old no doubt.
Now muslims choose to site “al-Quds” in Jerusalem. Hmm.
Problem 1: Mohammed (pbuh) didn’t fly to al-Quds on a winged horse. Winged horses don’t exist. They have never existed. They will never exist. Therefore Mohammed (pbuh) did not fly to al-Quds on a winged horse. The muslims have no claim to al-Quds because his flight on a winged horse plainly never happened.
Problem 2: Where the hell is al-Quds? The Koran won’t tell you. Jerusalem was very well known at the time. It even had a name. Jerusalem. So if Mohammed (pbuh) had flown on his winged horse to Jerusalem, why not say so? Where did “al-Quds” come from?
Problem 3: The islamic religion was founded by a man who thought God was speaking to him in a cave. Sadly, God was telling him it was OK to murder people, steal their land and property, and rape their wives and children. What could possibly go wrong? Believing that he rode a non-existent winged horse to a non-existent place called “al-Quds” is the least of their problems. Or ours.

The Quranic passage that talks about the “night journey” of Mohammad to the “farthest mosque” took place sometime in the year 621 while the mosque in Jerusalem was not built till the year 705 AD. Which means, to whichever mosque Mohammad flew, it certainly was NOT in Jerusalem!
While King David made Jerusalem the capital of Israel, never in the history of the world was Jerusalem ever a capital city of an Arab country, certainly not one called Palestine which NEVER existed in antiquity.

Thought the BBC would approve of this willingness to follow through on a manifesto pledge-God knows, they moan eniough when Politians DON`T do “this kinda t`ing”. But the BBC seem decidedly uppity-some political promises like Jerusalem, Brexit or walking out of Climate Change wind tunnels in Paris are NOT to be honoured.
Thank you Mr Trump. But the BBC says we`ll not like the Muslims when they get angry afterwards-and the BBC harpie on the news tells me there are two cases for the Old Bailey on Dec 20th, re attempting to kill Mrs May or tell mates where Prince George is going to school. Oh Mr Trump-you`re making the Muzzies angry-it`s all been going so well until this!

Agree Cooper – I didn’t really understand why Trump did this and so looked up the history.. easy to see…It’s a bit like North Korea..all previous presidents knew it was a problem but just kept passing on it…until Trump.
Sopel is a slightly simple man with a huge Trump chip on his shoulder and like the BBC would rather imagine history to fit their ‘narrative’ than examine it for truth

I’m not going to elaborate on all the reasons why I think Trump has to succeed in his presidency, but he has my gratitude for not doing what every politician does when it comes to difficult and delicate problems – namely in kicking the can down the road for future generations to deal with. The West is particularly at fault in doing that when it comes to the issue of Islam, and decades of appeasement has done nothing other than making it more difficult to resolve in the future. Whether Trump succeeds in getting any kind of lasting peace in the Middle East is debatable – but at least he is determined to try and do it. And upsetting Jon Sopel is a bonus.

If the diminutive little bile-spurter Sopel doesn’t know anyone in Washington who can tell him what’s going on, then perhaps he’s so far out of his depth, he can reapply to the bbbc for a new post, hopefully in Rotherham.
Common sense tells me that he doesn’t know for two reasons: – 1) nobody bothers to talk to him and 2) nobody else does either.
He’s supposed to be a ‘journalist’ for God’s sake, not a prick on the end of a phone, waiting for calls.

“UK electoral system faces ‘perfect storm’ of threats, says watchdog”
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42250010
So, what threats does the BBC head straight for?
Now, I don’t know if that’s partly because good Sir John failed entirely to notice it, but it’s telling that there seems not to be a solitary reference in that entire article to postal votes. These are surely a threat to the integrity of the electoral system of a magnitude vastly in excess of any interference from Mr Putin. Crafty Mr Putin is evidently too stupid to disguise the fact that he has a finger in every digital pie, but any influence must be dwarfed by certain sections of the community using postal votes to vote for their entire, very extended family.
As many of those who have commented seem to have twigged.

Note on Rotherham: According to Andrew Norfolk in The Times on 24 February 2016, “The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has begun 55 (October 2016 56) investigations into alleged police misconduct linked to Rotherham child sex crimes. It has received complaints against 92 named officers. An investigation into all past sex grooming cases in the town, begun in June and led by the National Crime Agency, has identified more than 300 suspects and 9,000 lines of inquiry.” In April 2017 there were 14,055 lines of enquiry. In October 2016 the NCA confirmed Professor Jay’s 1,400 still appears a sound estimate. On 11 February 2017, there were more than 100 active investigations into CSE in Rotherham. In November 2017 Operation Stovewood” were actively engaged with 239 victims. According to the 2011 census, there were around 3,000 Muslim men of working age in Rotherham. If 300 of these are suspects, that’s one in every ten Rotherham Muslim men of working age who are police suspects.
and even that presumes the police can identify all the suspects / perps
Note on Keighley: On the basis of 2011 census data, one in every 250 Keighley Muslim men of working age were in the dock for the one 2016 rape case

Didn`t bother to watch PMQ, but did catch the last bit with May spluttering something silly about Stoke to a squit on her own side. Must have been all of 19 this lad.
But immediately when PMQ ended-wherever you go on Freeview , there was “analysis” Kuennsberg, Faisal, Neil and assorted chinless Tories and snippy commies all under their ragged flags of irrelevance. Singing their regimental songs that nobody now cares for.
My point?
When did all this “expert rush to judgement and stating the bleeding banal or obvious”-and all on our tab on Freeview to be rolled over again and again? Whence came it?
Did it start with Clough, Dougan, Hill and Allison etc on thise interminably useless windbag “World Cup Panels”of 1973/4 etc? Not enough to watch the footy-but we needed pointless thick “personalities” to read the runes and get a wad from the producers for extending the airtime taken from 90 mins to three hours?
Since then, all we`ve had are food critics, dance critics, home experts, gymnastic and ice skating prisspots, sheer dressage banalities, and “best forelegs, top forelocks in Show”.
Perpetual critiques by the media of nothing worth a wet wipe.
Dance, acts, show ponies, food presentations etc…have we all lost sense of reality?
For this ringmaster crap from ” Her Satanic Majestiies Request” now permeates the political elite. Who the fuck CARES what Faisal or Laura, Andrew or Kay think about May and PMQs “performance”?
Nobody voted for the political arm of the Media Parties that are BBC dominated, but now this lot of nomarks feel emboldened enough to presume to judge our elected representatives. WE do that Kuennsberg and Islam…now piss off and get a job between you. Hot airing gobshites, doing stool analysis of dancing monkeys is NOT politics,,,it`s gossip.

‘UK electoral system faces perfect storm of threats.’
Apparently ‘Russian meddling on social media’ is a problem. Someone posting something on social media is not a substantive threat. What is a real and proven problem is members of a certain peaceful community committing voter fraud on an industrial scale, as well as telling people they must vote a certain way or their God will be upset. This undermines the very fabric of democracy upon which our freedom is based; there should be outrage that any group should seek to subvert it in this way, but of course the Beeb is reticent. Their article mentions Tower Hamlets in passing, choosing instead focus on the issue of ‘Russian meddling.’ Once again they downplay the real and present danger whilst focusing on an imaginary bogeyman.
They honestly think they are the ones to lead the fight against fake news? They seem incapable of saying or doing anything without this compulsive desire to deceive.

One Laura Benson – a Liberal Democrat Council has been suspended from her party, according to al Beeb, because she wrote on her Facebook page how the president of the United States should be beheaded.
I assume this has been reported to the US federal authorities because I understand it is a federal offence to threaten the president . Maybe she ll be extradited…. al Beeb reported it with due neutrality in the same way that the plan to kill the PM was reported – when they named those charged – they only gave the name of one – and it was not the one called ‘mohammed’ – I wonder why?

If only the abuse victims in Rotherham and Rochdale had launched a ‘movement’. Perhaps they weren’t properly advised by their PR and social media teams?
A few ‘rotten apples’ in the higher echelons of the entertainment industry represent the acceptable face of sexual impropriety. Which is neatly solvable by fostering a more equitable working culture. The perpetrators express shock, go to therapy, ask the public for forgiveness for their errant ways.
Re-education for the win.

How is it possible that I can be typing Theresa May assassination into the search engine of the Beeb website and get absolutely nothing. And even when I type Theresa May murder plot comes up with a Victoria Derbyshire feature and a piece on the newspapers.
Would it be because of the identity of the two suspects?
As others have said, the irony of her criticising Trump about those nasty tweets that tried to draw attention to the actions of a certain religious group, whilst that very group is being prevented from murdering her, is amazing.

Cos BBC can’t do IT , just like it can’t do science , or engineering
Whereas a Google search is intelligent, it automatically looks for other tense forms of the verbs and synonyms
eg you type “murder” it also looks “for death”
But it the BBC search you have to GUESS the correct word
searching : Murder Theresa May ..does NOT get you today’s story
…but searching : Kill Theresa May …does

So while May and the rest of the elite fumed at Trump’s ‘anti Muslim’ Tweets, someone was plotting to murder the Prime Minister.
As Trump hit back, deal with Islamic extremism before having a go at me. There was no outrage that people are actively plotting mass murder. It is so bizarre you could not make it up.
Once again, Trump is right. How the elites must hate him for that. They were all having a whale of time pretending everything was fine until he showed up; their money and power insulates them from the problems most face. They value having an easy life far above the welfare of their people.

Not to mention Prince George being a target. Where is the national outrage? I fear that the electorate has been sedated. It is now so bleeding obvious that so many reported crimes are perpetrated by foreigners or descendants of immigrants (recent). Hence no Crimewatch. And no commenting on it – surely a hate crime.

Maybe the Muslims fear that Prince George will now be gay, after that vicar with a gimp collar prayed for same last week.(Preyed, more like)
I`d arrest that vicar for inciting the likes of this vulnerable lovely who was only wanting to send a birthday card to the prince i`m sure.

Holly,
The idea of a pervert vicar sexualising a four year old in the name of his preferment fit buggery really is enough . He should go read the gospels and seek forgiveness for his perversion .
All creatures like him think about is where to put his private parts

There`s an openly gay church that I call by to in Brighton when I`m out there.
Nice people alright-but their sexuality clearly trumps any attempt to preach the gospel. Jesus said nothing about sex( well, you need to look carefully: and be prepared to argue)-so how come the gays see it as their god?
If they were Christians first-then gay as a secondary consideration-they could do so much better. But , for now, It`s more a pick up place where they can swap stories of real(or imagined) oppression.
But that Scottish oaf not only prays for a four year old to be gay, but lets a Muslim commit blasphemy in his own pulpit during the Epiphany Service earlier this year-gets no lower than that.

So BBC on the situation with Brexit. Quoted a YouGov poll – selectively…whilst tentatively their expert said it is still split – they then went on to say that of those that voted to remain there is swing back towards wanting to leave….well actually it deepnds on the question and the extent….when you look at their own poll…
1. Should the Government continue with Brexit – Yes June 17% Sept 13% ( of those who voted to leave)
2. Should the Government alter its aims and seek a softer Brexit Yes June 34% Sept 15% ( there are actually 2 questions here and what is a soft brexit? – so a waste of time)
3. In June 30% of Remoaners said we should have second referendum and 31% in Sept ( so almost 70% didn’t want another referendum – which is actually the important figure – not mentioned in BBC)
4. In June 14% of Remoaners said we should abandon Brexit and stay in EU, in Sept 30% – so still 70% didn’t say that..
In summary the BBC simply presented the figures in as negative way as they could..Surprise…Perhaps they should use it as an example of fake news when teaching the school kids

(1) The BBC says that “Anthropogenic Global Warming is a fact”; the IPCC, pushed by the wishful thinking of environmental activists and politicians says ‘likely’ and the BBC, which claims to be impartial, says ‘fact’.
(2) None of the BBC’s ‘best scientific experts’ had any scientific qualifications relevant to the causes of Climate Change.
(3) The BBC thinks evidence is extracted from computer modelling.

Just take a look at the computer modelling for the current UK cold spell where they are in total disagreement. If they can’t model a few hours ahead how can they manage for decades? No wonder so many of the models already maturing are hopelessly wrong and the current crop show no sign of improving.
The climate is bound to be warming, we haven’t had a volcanic eruption of any size since Pinatubo 20 years ago, and volcanos cool the earth considerably.

Since the announcement about the Royal couple I have lost sleep worrying about the wedding guest list.
Matters have not been helped by the Independent suggesting that Mr and Mrs Obama might be invited instead of President Trump and the US First Lady.
I suspect this is a deliberate Government leak to test the British reaction – use a crappy newspaper to carry the story, and withdraw it if it goes against public opinion.
But since the Indie’s article there have been suggestions that HM has blocked the invitation and a flood of claims that the story of the blocking is fake news.
So please BBC investigate the facts about this royal occasion and let me get some sleep

Whilst I could not give a flying F##K about Theresa May this would have been an attack on democracy and by definition all of us. Maybe thats why Theresa appears not to be that bothered she lost interest in upholding democratic principles and representing the electorate a long time ago.

Oak,
Both you and G are of course right and this incident is probably being downplayed for security reasons, although it really just highlights further how shallow and fickle the establishment are. They move incestuously in ever decreasing circles from collusion to conflict, faux outrage in a Faustian pact where politicians have become needlessly entwined with a toxic media full of their own self importance.
All a game to them, but unfortunately for us they’re trying to play chess with snakes-and-ladders brains.

It would seem massive crime increases are also part and parcel of living in our great capital city.
The London Underground now carries warning posters that there are 300 moped-based mobile phone crimes. A year? No. Every month! This when a mobile phone is no longer a relatively expensive, relative rarity but an everyday item.
Back in the days when they were a new consumer device, there might have been 300 to 600 robberies per year in London. Many of them would probably have made the news broadcasts, certainly featured in local news and may have been picked up by the national newspapers.
I would not be surprised if people now have two or three phones. OK, high end devices cost a lot but thieves on a moped coming up behind a potential victim who is using a cellphone are unlikely to be able to discern that it is the latest iPhone.
Things have obviously deteriorated during the time that Boris Johnson and Sadiq Khan have been in post if we are now getting 3,600 phone thefts per year on the streets of the capital.

Is the BBC, the BBC that says that it is concerned that young people should “have the skills to filter out fakery from the truth” and have taken onto themselves the duty of informing our children about fake news, the same BBC that ‘cleansed’ the slaughter of 11-year old Ebba Akerlund from their news reports?
Have the BBC forgotten the story of Little Red Riding Hood? Storytelling was one of the traditional ways of teaching children to beware of the sort of fake news that the likes of the BBC peddle. In the story of Little Red Riding Hood, after the child and her grandmother had been devoured and the bloated wolf had fallen to sleep, a woodcutter came to their rescue. He cut open the sleeping wolf with his axe and Little Red Riding Hood, with her grandmother, emerged unharmed and filled the wolf’s body with heavy stones.
Moral of the story: Children, beware of the BBC because they, like the wolf, propagate cowardly, lying, hypocritical fake news.

BBCaliph – it’s easy enough to upload images just so you can in future.
Either an image is already online or else it’s on your computer.
For the former just get the link to the picture by right clicking on the picture and select ‘copy link address’.
For the latter you will need to open a free account on any of the websites that offer free image hosting. I use TinyPic which works fine. You first upload your picture to whichever host you choose. It will then give you the link to that picture.
Then all you need to do is to click on the ‘add image to comment’ link below where your entering your comment here and add the url .
Bingo
