Unnewsworthy

You may have noticed, as we’ve pointed out, that the BBC refuses to mention the fact that the Iranians arrested Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe because of her work at the BBC’s Media Action.  The Chair of which is still the BBC’s new head of news Fran  Unsworth.

Will the BBC’s serious omission of dodging this inconvenient truth so as not to implicate the BBC in Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s plight be corrected now that we have someone who is so closely linked to the case?  Doubt it somehow….and don’t expect the BBC’s coverage of the EU to change either….Media Action received £9 million to peddle EU propaganda.

“Its work has absolutely no bearing on the BBC’s editorial decisions. The BBC’s editorial remit is to deliver fair, balanced and impartial coverage and we are satisfied that our coverage of the European Union does just that.”

You may be satisfied but what if the people who pay your wages disagree with you, do they still have to pay for your anti-Brexit, anti-Trump, pro-tax, pro-public sector, news coverage just because you think they should? Who made your our masters, I must have missed that vote?

Do you think that if you lobby hard enough you can reverse the EU exit vote? Is that your idea of how television should work, where you take money with menaces from people and tell yourself what a great job you are doing? What if the people who pay for you don’t believe that you are doing a great job, and would rather spend their money elsewhere, do you give them the option of not having to pay you, you know like people have the option not to buy the Guardian?

It’s fair and balanced only from the standpoint of a Guardian-reading PC leftie-liberal sjw.
Certainly not from the standpoint of the 52% who voted Brexit or the majority who voted Conservative.

BBC ‘satisfaction’ with itself is matched only by its ‘belief’.

That this is deemed fine and dandy by publicly accountable figures who have to jump when the uniquely funded bbc issues an FOI demand are just two too many of this power that cannot be held to account.

Trouble is; those anti-sanity, fake gay marriage, Christ hating, Jewish hating BBC TV/Radio supporters and announcers, think that they will!

“a little lie here and a huge lie there” usually helps things along!

In the end, those with absolute power usually get round to being corrupted absolutely!

Steve Bannon did warn us all that the US swamp would not be easliy drained of its low life mud flapping crocs. One bizarre election and its result did not mean that we could all go back to sleep as they curled up and died for our convenience.
We handed it all over these last fifty years, they`ve got rather used to the comfort and lack of need to act, to think or to fight. Just receive and retire with good reputation. If May had any sense, she`d stop pretending to lead anything. She needs to be the Peoples Cipher. get out of the way and lead from behind as her mate Obama did. She has nothing to say, no vision or ability-but God did tell St Paul that “His strength was made perfect in weakness”. She should know that.
So-leave, no deal, do her knitting at the Paris tumbrils as Clarke, Mandelson, Blair,Campbell and Soubry urger her to do something. She should not.
Yes, we`ll have a few days of turbulence, but the EU is a busted bureaucratic cockup start to end. Why prop it or let it think it has any role in our lives from April 2019?
Let it dangle, dopey Theresa…and if you cauterise the fetid EU infection, history will love you. But if you continue to pretend to lead or know what you`re doing, let alone try for political advantage with your jamrag of a party?…then it`ll be far easier to deal with Labours evil than your porridge of principle-free swamps of your making.
Cut the damn umbilical Nurse, it`ll infect us if you don`t.

Apologies for the last line – the spellcheck killed me – it should read “I’m sure al Beeb will denigrate …”

On a previous thread I unearthed evidence of bBC bragging about the Iranian Twitter revolution caused by activists shortly after the Iranian election about 5 years ago.
Someone seemed to be training those Iranian journos /social media activists.

    There’s what the bbc ‘reports’.

There is what the bbc does not ‘report’.

Maybe Franny could also look at what the bbc mis-reports?

Obama ‘blocked’ Hezbollah drugs trafficking investigation to secure Iran nuclear deal http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/12/18/obama-blocked-hezbollah-drugs-trafficking-investigation-secure/?utm_campaign=Echobox&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter

Something else the BBC didn’t tell us about.

You’d have thought that the President of the United States halting an investigation into drug dealing by terrorists in order to appease a rogue state would be deemed newsworthy…
