The BBC has just pledged to start pushing Islam in earnest on its mainstream broadcasting channels. It will downgrade Christianity and will up-promote Islam in recognition that Britain is now a multi-faith society. It will pay lip-service to other religious faiths, but as judged by an analysis of its website for the past 8 months, this means in practice, promoting Islam to the next level. Currently it is estimated that Islam represents over 6 percent of the English population and 12 percent of local politicians.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-42412869

This is merely a creation of a pathway for the BBC to further downgrade Christianity and further promote Islam within England. Given England (and Britain) has been through the Enlightenment and has been secularised – think to yourself why is the BBC now going to increase its (non-Christian) religious programming.

Debunking a YouTube hit {bbc.co.uk 04aug2009} – interesting old BBC article that should be reviewed again. Some people blocking the video and others wanting to discuss it. Very interesting …
“A big YouTube hit makes startling predictions about the Islamification of Europe over the next few decades and has been viewed more than 10 million times. But can you believe what it says?”

I’ve been travelling to Greece for the last three decades and I have noticed that the immigrant population (legal and illegal) has exploded. Most of them are Muslims. I think it is very logical for Europeans to have open discussions on this topic because it will change the face of Europe forever.

      Here the BBC are portraying:
      a) cult of self
      b) irresponsibility
      c) selfishness

This is probably connected with the idea that the student generation have to fight against the older generation in order to bring in a utopian Corbyn-Abbott government with open borders, unlimited welfare and a religion of peace.

Some Corbyn creep got a small fine and little publicity for double voting. Small comment in the Times, but not the hanging offence it ought to be.
Gerrymandering used to be a serious issue-but the EUs casual and contemptuous view on a vote is now bearing its rancid fruit.

The BBC is looking for a ‘head of change’ and is offering a salary of up to £78,000 for the job.

Bizarre role, which reads like a script from W1A, will be based at its headquarters in London and has been advertised online on the Corporation’s website

BBC said: ‘Head of change is a common job in businesses across the country’
The bizarre role, which reads like a script from W1A, will be based at its headquarters in London and has been advertised online on the Corporation’s website.

Applicants could be forgiven for what their duties may include, despite the four-page advert – which uses the word ‘change’ 77 times.
The BBC’s jargon-filled ad states the role will be to ‘influence the success of the Terms & Conditions programme with far-reaching impacts’ while also ‘leveraging opportunities for benefits’.

‘Oversee and gain senior stakeholder buy-in for the design and planning of the required change management interventions required to successfully embed the change,’ reads one task.

BBC journalists are said to be infuriated by some of the jargon adopted in the advert, according to The Times, and some have noted the job title appeared to have drawn inspiration from the satirical ‘head of values’ and ‘director of better’ posts filled by Hugh Bonneville and Sarah Parish’s characters in W1A.

In the ‘ideal candidate’ section, the BBC said it is looking for someone with ‘experience of facilitating and monitoring change, and able to confidently deal with complexity, and ambiguity in a pressured environment, and can flex to changes in business focus’.

The head of change is within the corporation’s deputy director general group, which is responsible for departments including HR, finance and legal.

A BBC spokesman said: ‘It’s true the BBC is changing as we modernise and become ever more efficient, and head of change is a common job in businesses up and down the country.’

Did Boris Johnson really say this about islam? (copied from Make Britain Great Again thread)
If so, wow: a politician with a bit of common sense on the Religion of War and Paedophilia, and the balls to express it? Amazing.

    Boris Johnson:
“To any non-Muslim reader of the Koran, Islamophobia – fear of Islam – seems a natural reaction, and, indeed, exactly what that text is intended to provoke. Judged purely on its scripture – to say nothing of what is preached in the mosques – it is the most viciously sectarian of all religions in its heartlessness towards unbelievers. As the killer of Theo Van Gogh told his victim’s mother this week in a Dutch courtroom, he could not care for her, could not sympathise, because she was not a Muslim.
The trouble with this disgusting arrogance and condescension is that it is widely supported in Koranic texts, and we look in vain for the enlightened Islamic teachers and preachers who will begin the process of reform. What is going on in these mosques and madrasas? When is someone going to get 18th century on Islam’s medieval ass?
It is time that we started to insist that the Muslim Council of Great Britain, and all the preachers in all the mosques, extremist or moderate, began to acculturate themselves more closely to what we think of as British values. We can’t force it on them, but we should begin to demand change in a way that is both friendly and outspoken.”

      Vlad,
Sorry, it aint’ gonna happen. It works on the basis that everything is changed to what the muslim wants and in accordance with the Quaran. A ‘one way street’. The Quaran is the Quaran and all that it espouses including hate for we ‘kafirs’ and Jews. Indeed, even if you were a declared atheist in Pakistan you would be executed as having no moral values whatever. Worse than a Christian is treated (and that’s bad enough). There’s only one answer.

The BBC news is reporting the investigation by the Met into themselves in the light of failed rape cases.
Here’s my indepth analysis, produced on a budget of zero. I wonder if the BBC, with its £4bn a year and vast army of so-called reporters, can do any better?
    1. There was never an issue.
    2. It was made into an issue by pressure from the ultra feminist movement who wish to denigrate men as an end in itself and saw this issue as a way to go about it.
    3. The authorities, influenced by political correctness, were persuaded to make a stand, and prioritised this ‘crime’ and alloted a huge budget to it.
    4. In this they were assisted by the DPP, Alison Saunders, who expressly stated that she wished to get more rape convictions, apparently irrespective of the actual evidence.
    5. It was always bunkum, and after several years and millions of pounds of wasted taxpayers money, the truth of the situation has finally dawned on the top brass, who finally realise they have been taken for a ride.
    6. The Met may face a huge bill in litigation costs when the wrongly accused decide to sue (and personally I hope they take the Met to the cleaners) so they need to backtrack quickly.

    How am I doing?

There is a self-evident dark side to this, but I could not help but also recall The Canary was shaping up to be a new addition to the Graun/Indy/Mirror/New Statesman rotating collection of guest pundits, especially with Newsnight.

Dark looks in the ladies’ powder room this Xmas bash, and especially from the women, as fleas are suddenly a possibility.

There is also the panic in the ranks of the BBC at being thought of as anything like ‘of the right’, bar a few self-seeded ‘got it about right’ punts for Rob Burley to point at.

The scramble in denial matches that of BBC complaints when Surlenny fancies another role and mutters darkly about diversity shortfalls.

From the BBC company that has all the answers on Diversity and Pay Gaps … Video games: How big is industry’s racial diversity problem?
When Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was released this year, it gained a lot of attention – not because it is the latest instalment for a popular franchise, it stood out for another reason.

The problems widen out to class and gender too, so across the board there is a diversity issue.

What I would not encourage is any kind of segregation, but if targeted work helps attract people who otherwise might not join, that can only be a good thing.

I came to gaming (PC/Console) rather late in life as a mature student in the 1990s. Twenty years later as a curmudgeonly old git I’m still playing them.

Let me say first off that at least 95% of games released are for children or dim teenagers, are simplistic, are rip-offs of existing better games, are full of bugs, and have little artistic or educational merit – so I can well understand why people of my generation would dismiss the whole lot of them.

However the few that do stand out (especially those that have ‘replayability’) have given me so many hours of entertainment that I could never go back to just slumping on the sofa watching mainstream live TV propaganda.

Anyway – in short that BBC article is just beating the drum for quotas for BAME & wimmin developers, nothing new there. “If they’re good enough they will find work” is alas a thing you can’t say anymore.

As for their actual appearance as pixellated characters within the games – it’s a ridiculous claim that any ‘minority’ are under-represented – they have been shoehorned into game narratives for many years now – just like on the telly.

I also think that millions (yes the number is in millions) of ethnic minority people all over the world would still play the ‘big’ game franchises like GTA or Uncharted even if the entire set of characters were lily-white westerners. The videogame industry is huge in money terms, but a lot of the middle-class media still relegate it as a kind of weird trainspotting obsession. A very very few games could be called ‘art’, most are crap, but there are also plenty that are really just good fun. It seems the PC leviathan’s tentacles must eventually strangle all harmless pursuits.

The strange thing for al beeb is That it has an uncritical and – indeed – unquestioning attitude to Islam but barely covers other religions yet alone the damned humaunists , agnostics and followers of belezebub . If devil worshippers are stupid enough to pay their tv tax then surely “thought for the day “ should have a demon spot – not just humph or nick .

There is only one god – 3 in 1 – god the father , god the son and god the Holy Ghost – and if you don’t get that you’re an Anglican or worse .

This evening the BBC London news is being introduced by a WHITE MALE presenter !!!!!!!!!
This has not happened to my knowledge for months.
Surely there must be an internal BBC enquiry to get to the bottom of this extra-ordinary event and to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.

What problem? So what if different groups are attracted to different pursuits, I thought diversity was our strength? They would never dare discuss the ‘diversity problem’ in medicine – white men hugely underrepresented.

I care about how good the games are not the skin colour of those who made them. Equally when my doctor makes me feel better why on earth should I care what colour his skin is?

These SJWs are professional sh*t stirrers, creating problems where there are none. I wish they could just stop harassing us and leave us alone.

BB, “These SJWs are professional sh*t stirrers, creating problems where there are none. I wish they could just stop harassing us and leave us alone.”

Problem is BB, that when one does something – perhaps meeting a genuine need or serving a righteous cause – you then have a potential merry-go-round starting to roll. If the first SJW, with a genuine cause, receives merit or even plaudits (made a Peer or Peeress?) then others are tempted to think: ‘Perhaps I can have a piece of that? What shall I go after?’

Harold Evans, Sunday Times and Thalidomide come to mind. It seems like forever that that was all he was (undeservedly) known for.

The danger is that trivialisation can follow and a welter of causes, all with SJWs pushing them and competing for media space and you can get a genuine wrong – think Contaminated Blood scandal – gets pushed aside or diminished or lost in the ever-growing heap. Or the Charity Commissioners become so overloaded that they cannot police the charities that are set up adequately and then – think Kidscape – abuses may occur.

One of the things I would hold against Margaret Thatcher is that she both oversaw the dismantling of UK societal structures (nothing to do with the famous misquote) due to economic situations and measures and she created a raft of oppositional divisiveness through how she and her policies were perceived.

Like Metropolitan Police slackness mentioned above and on the BBC for the past few days, we – the taxpayer – ends up paying for it all, sometimes two or three times over.

PS just did a quick internet search and it appears (e.g. Deloitte survey) that teenage mobile phone ownership is comparable or higher than the proportion of women who are too poor to buy sanitary products.

Just returned from France via the port near Caen. Last mile of the journey saw lots of enrichers, standing in groups every few yards. I paused to watch them, as I often do this journey. All were well dressed, expensive looking fur lined leather jackets with matching headgear. These young men – age about 18 to 30 – no women or children, are not sleeping rough as their clothes were too tidy. Most were busy with their phones – wonder where they charge them, and I suspect were arranging lifts. The lorries are searched at the port, so I wonder who is giving them lifts and to what extent the authorities – UK and French- are assisting them. My guess is that they are being quietly rushed through to the UK where behind the screens to shield them from our eyes they will be transformed into children who will then await their parents.
Something is being done and it is with the cooperation of the authorities.

Just watched a BBC programme about the manufacture of Christmas confectionery through history. But it is so predictable. Of the 4 sweet makers, one had to be black and of the two female ‘historians ‘ one had to be black. I don’t mind black presenters, what I do object to, is them being shoe horned in at every opportunity. And again, the Georgian sketch of people enjoying a party, had a black man as the subject. I know there were black people living in England in Georgian times, I just cannot believe that this sketch was the first that came to hand.

Now it was reported today that the BBC is to give more prominence to religious festivals. I have no problems of the BBC going back to the premise that it should educate. But somehow I guess this won’t be done just by little items on The One Show. The dilemmas of being religious will appear in every drama, every murder story and every documentary. I can predict that Judaism and Sikhism won’t feature very much but the problems of being a Muslim in the U.K. will feature hugely. I think someone(Justin Webb?) on Today this morning tried to ask Mr Parnell about the difficulties of being a Muslim and living in the UK where the rights of gay people are not compatible. He didn’t get any answer.

The sudden rise in number of black presenters is a fine example of the BBC’s tick box mentality. Now, at Mr Purnell’s say so, that tick boxing will be applied to faith (except they don’t want Jews anywhere). We will see every play be about Muslim angst ortheir concerns about being down trodden in the U.K. today just to ensure that their quotas are correct.

So you don’t mind the white ‘historian’; you don’t mind the white ’sweet makers’; and you don’t mind, ‘black presenters’ (how very generous of you).

RE Macron. Banning Oil Exploration could have a bigger impact than he realizes. The largest oil services company in the world, Schlumberger, is partially French with HQs in Paris (executive office) and Houston. The investments in future business could mean a greater focus on Houston as the HQ and Paris as an offshoot with less development and expansion .

I keep saying along with everyone else in this country the word Brexit referring to the EU.

The EU is completely controlled and dominated by Germany, nothing happens unless Germany says so.
So therefore, we are not breaking away from the the EU. We are breaking out of a fast growing dictatorial German empire. (Ref.Greece and Italy finances)

France are delighted we are leaving as we muddied the waters in terms of them being better able to establish a minor power base, provided of course,Germany allow them to. The Vichy France is alive and well.

A United States of Europe controlled by Germany. The Kaiser is alive and well in Germany. This time though, he is not using bullets.

History has a curious habit of repeating itself. We escaped from this empire just in time.

The German political elite is overjoyed at Trump’s supposed “isolationism”. They see it as a golden opportunity to advance German foreign policy interests whilst arrogantly claiming they are acting in the interests of “Europe” as the USA withdraws from certain areas.
Siegmar Gabriel, the zombie Foreign Minister has been travelling about the Middle East and just recently Afghanistan peddling German soft power i.e. cash.
There, he posed the question “Sind wir in der Lage selbst zu agieren oder wird mit uns umgegangen?” (Can we take action ourselves or will we let others determine what we do? ).
The former reluctance to deploy the German army abroad has suddenly become “We must continue to ensure German/European security and defend German/European freedom in the Hindu Kush”. There is also the suggestion that Germany’s future largesse in the ME and Afghanistan will promote growth and better social conditions which will discourage future “refugee” flows to Germany. Even Germany can’t be that rich, can it? Next year they will increase the bribe to “reject refugees” to self-deport from 1,200 euros to 3,200 euros.
