4th Day of Christmas Thread

As 2018 comes to a sudden end the Far Left  BBC goes into full revision of the year to suit its’ biased view .

I think the falling Christmas figures will give just another small push towards subscription funding to finally kill the poisonous creature off .

Yes, Nibor, and I’ve become extremely upset with Mardell’s half-truths and lies. He stated in today’s episode that ownership of the Sun changed hands – implying that it happened during the 1975 Referendum campaign. Within a minute or two, he stated correctly that Murdoch bought the Sun in 1969.

Once upon a time the BBC had a mission to educate and inform. Science was to be presented to the masses and we would in many ways benefit.
It turned out that scientific inquiry became an avenue for the outpourings of activists, with various ideologies to promote. And then there came a brand of feminism which was basically anti science, anti knowledge, based on hatred of perceived male oppression.
Today the BBC offers junk science and exalts as intelligent women a bunch of complete crazies.
Please take a look at the video of one of the world’s leaders in cosmology and physics. A woman who knows her science, knows how to tackle the big ideas and describe her work in language accessible to people who want to understand.
Basically, this woman who says nothing political is a political threat to the likes of the BBC.
    I give you Lisa Randall.

Unquestionably a very smart woman – itself a rarity – but I would take anything any scientist claims today with a pinch of salt. Physics has become a dead science in the sense that there have been no real breakthroughs in the last 50 years that can compare with those of the early 20th century. Whatever any theoretical physicist comes up with nowadays it really is not groundbreaking. In fact Physics seems to be becoming post-modern too, splitting in to various factions of ‘belief’.

        Agree!

For those of us who are not scientists we can and WILL be lied to by modern scientists if we believe everything that the BBC quotes/uses! Many of those alledged honest scientists have been found to be frauds!. Check out the following fraud/retractions by loads of scientists. Many even after being exposed still return to those false claims:

It worries me when science is rejected outright. It fits too well with the post science agenda of the left. I am no longer involved in physics, but did learn something about science when I attended lectures from one of the scientists who created the Hiroshima bomb.
But more recently I see how the scientific conclusions from DNA harvesting are dealt with by politicians. I supervised research into bioprospecting in South Africa, and was informed that DNA evidence which contradicted claims regarding political structures was irrelevant because science is a capitalist construct designed to oppress third world people – that was from UN experts.

You prompted me to look into what you meant by the ‘post science agenda of the left’ when as we all should know that science, or rather scientism, is the new religion of the left.

I have attached the link to the article but briefly what it says is that the left have imposed a ‘group think’ regime on scientific research where results that don’t fit the ideology are not only rejected but also vehemently attacked at all levels.

Talking of Jon, beyond the professional incompetence he epitomises in his role, I have been pondering the actual danger the actions of him and those like him in time to come.

Because power does need holding to account, and more often enough the MSM is better equipped to shine light on abuse of power well enough for the public to witness, assess and respond.

But the facile, juvenile, knee-jerk TDS or anti-Leave style responses to anything at all that these clowns default to means folk at best tune out or presume the precise opposite. More often than not based on factual experience. However this can be cynically exploited.

And the utterly ridiculous obsession with denouncement by association means that everything gets redirected and focussed on Trump, or a hapless minister, diverting actual accountability from where it should be pinned.

I’d say ‘do your damn job’ to the MSM, but it is likely too late to recover from the ideological corruption that has been invited in and rewarded.

Luckily there are a few sources I trust enough to err on believing before checking further, but they are few and far between. And most are being targeted by the establishment in all its most insidious forms, from pig-thick politicians and their placeperons to mega-rich, power-addicted socialists, especially in all aspects of message manipulation and transmission.

Nothing against John Redwood, but all my adult life I have never subscribed to the honour of a Knighthood, such an honour is just so medieval-what on earth had Michael Palin done to warrent such an honour? His TV progs were paid for by the licence payer, he no doubt enjoyed his jollies around the world but to what aim? an honour should be given to people who have made a difference in what ever way to making life a little better for certain people, through continual charity works, saving lives daily as thoe of the RNLI do. Let such honours remain as CBE, OBE, and MBE. Disband the House of Lords as such and rename it ‘The upper House,’ maybe where only those again who really deserve to be there are nominated to be there to balance the Commons. Again it would democratic to seek the publics vote on who they would think worthy and those claims and to be examined by a panel of people drawn from all areas of life-not just because a person donated vast sums of money to a political party. Not easy to facilitate but we must move away from Knighthoods and Dameships.

They come from nowhere and capture the public attention. They speak evil and most of us listen as though they are speaking truth.

Following on from this evening’s Five Live buildup to tomorrow’s Arsenal v Liverpool match which featured a female presenter discussing it with a female pundit, the Guardian announce their footballer of the year 2018 award goes to Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw.

Is she better than Neymar? Hazard? Ronaldo? Modric? Who cares. For the Guardian the important thing is a) she’s not a man; b) she’s not white and c) her life has been riddled with Jamaican gang-related violence (three brothers and a nephew dead).

Humble beginnings, vibrant childhood, adversity, gunshots, gender bias, football of colour, triumph of the human spirit. I was going to arrange those into something of a coherent sentence, but you get the idea.

    It’s a funny old game.

Classic FM plays good music, usually, but it gets a bit samey over time. I like Alan Titchmarsh, too – very gentle and laid back. I also like David mellor, as a broadcaster, because he knows his stuff and plays some interesting music.

Can’t stand some of the other male presenters, especially in the mornings, who are slimy, patronising shits (sorry…). Some of the women presenters are far better.

CW is certainly the political web site which represents the views of most traditional conservatives, perhaps in 21st century Britain only women dare to say what they think. The current Tory party has moved in concert with the other parties steadily to the left and so the ‘centre ground ‘ is now rooted in what would have been solid Labour territory a couple of decades ago. I do note though that the increasingly liberal Telegraph has had two columns this week which attack the endless stream of infantile PC liberal left propaganda which issues from the bowels of Broadcasting House. But how long before a major newspaper takes up the challenge of organising a nationwide LF strike?

Doucet won a Peabody and a David Bloom award in 2010 for her film on maternal mortality in Afghanistan…She won Best News Journalist at the 2010 Sony Radio Academy Awards.

In 2002, she was the only journalist to accompany the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, to his brother’s wedding, where an assassination attempt was made. She and her team were later nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for their exclusive coverage of the attempt.

In 2007, she was named International Television Personality of the Year by the Association for International Broadcasting. She also received the News and Factual award from the organisation Women in Film and Television.

Doucet has an honorary doctorate in civil law from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from the University of New Brunswick (2006),[5] an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from University College at the University of Toronto (2009), and an honorary doctorate in journalism from Université de Moncton.

In 2015, Doucet won the Sandford St Martin trustees’ award “for her commitment to journalism and her intelligent and clear reporting of the religious elements of global events”.

At the 2017 International Media Awards, Doucet was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Broadcasting Award. The award is given to journalists whose body of work has led to better understanding, and as a consequence increased prospects for peace.

Doucet has been a council member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and is currently a council member of the International Council for Human Rights (ICHR) based in Geneva. She is also involved with Friends of Aschiana UK which supports working street children in Afghanistan.

She has covered all major wars in the Middle East since the mid-1990s. Her work also focuses on the aftermath of major natural disasters.

The documentaries she’s made have been about the effect of war on children.

You on the other hand, type shit on the internet about ‘ bukakke’ sessions.

Maybe have a think about that while you’re working to make the world a better place.

As many of us have observed The Today Programme has indulged itself in an orgy of it’s many biases since Christmas Day. One day after this important Christian festival, we had a Muslim presenter obsessing about Muslim issues. One day off was obviously the most that they could endure. Since Boxing Day it’s been endless left liberal politics and ‘identity ‘ issues. This morning for instance we had the ‘guest editor’ , An unknown woman with the usual lefty race and identity obsessions trying to tell us that race had nothing to do with knife crime. They found a police officer in the West Midlands to provide a suitably supporting comment. What planet do these people live on?

Scrobs has a confession to make…

As is our wont at Christmas, when Christians celebrate and cause happiness in others, we bought each other several DVDs, as we never watch live TV, and hardly ever listen to the news except if I can’t sleep, and am forced to hear R5Dead.

But, to continue the confession, two of the DVD sets are ‘All creatures great and hows your father’, and ‘New Tricks’ – both of which were produced by the notional breadcoster, the bbc, before they got so awful!

I hope forgiveness is in order amongst friends here; we really do need to get back to our roots before all good programmes are just not sold any more in the bbc’s tiresome search for liberal equality, funny hair for all, squeally unpleasant singing in a peculiar language, stupid comments from twonkettes like Moira Bearded and Duwayne Abbott with a smattering of little Jonny Slopel and his bile pistol…

Meanwhile, it was gratifying to see the Daily Telegraph laughing its head off at the deplorable ‘ABC murders’, so we got all that right by not bothering to watch!

We need to bombard the Home Office and our own MPs with letters/e-mails to find out whether any deportations are taking place. France is a safe country, no threat to them there, and legal application route was available to them, as to everyone else.
Return them to France: that’s the only way of sending a message that these trips will be fruitless.
‘Thinking about’ another cutter, declaring a major incident, bringing in a ‘Gold Commander’, is all meaningless rubbish. All it serves to do is tell us what a low opinion the governing class have of us! And we knew THAT when they said more cutters would simply send out a message of better chances of rescue. (Actually true, but only if said cutters rescue you and obligingly take you to Dover, for then you can have a hundred cutters, if the will to repatriate to France is not there, they will all be useless.)
So write now, and remember: ‘They work for you’.

“all without consideration for whatever their circumstance should be returned to the French Coast forthwith, ”

My understanding of the legal position is that we are not allowed to return them to France. Under EU immigration rules people who have entered the UK illegally from another EU country can only be returned to the first EU country they entered. That would probably be be Greece, Italy, Malta or Spain, but if they don’t have documents or don’t tell us, we won’t know where they arrived in the EU. If we can’t prove which EU country has responsibilty for them they become our problem. France will claim to have been a transit stop, and will wish us luck.
