And so, Philips continues to drive and without a seat belt.
Lots of reporting about how ‘irascible’ he can be, and who will dare to tell him to pack up driving. Over the years there has been a lot of ‘affectionate’ reporting, about his wit, his humour, his no nonsense stance etc etc. and how he’s been the Queen’s strength and stay.

Honestly ? from my stand point he’s nothing but a bad tempered, certainly ill mannered and unfunny old man. His jokes in the past decades have been anything but rib ticklingly funny, and often cringingly embarrassing, but oh how those sycophants around him have dissolved into laughter. He expects deference and speaks to those who serve like surfs. Even his eldest son was scared to death of him in his early years. All that ‘don’t make a fuss’ attitude is fine and dandy, but more often than not said in a curt and abrupt manner, unwilling to take advice from those who know better than him, but refuses to admit it.
    Not a nice man.

Progress of a sort Brissles. At least he has accepted the march of time and matured from a bad tempered, ill-mannered and unfunny young man to a bad tempered, ill-mannered and unfunny geriatric. His arrogance in the shooting field was once legend before arthritis drew a veil.

I met the Duke and had a conversation with him many years ago when I was a lowly AB in the navy and I have to say he was courteous when he spoke to me, listened to what I had to say and seemed genuinely interested and respectful. Just my take on his manner.

Of course there are examples of HRH behaving as you reveal PT, anyone has moments of humanity, but overall the man’s reputation – outside of sycophants and the Mail, on occasion – provides far too many illustrations for sour grapes to guide opinion.
The very fact that at 97 he drives without a seatbelt within 48 hours of a major crash is all the proof one should need of an overbearing ability to ignore sensible advice.

…or maybe his behaviour is appropriate much of the time with an occasional lapse and show of temper – much like most of us. I understand he’s very popular with the palace staff and isn’t one for protocol. I know that some old hands in the navy who had served with him had a lot of time for him. He served with distinction in WW2. Anyway, as I said earlier, that’s my take on his personality.

Apologies if this has already been posted, it’s not easy to check once the thread gets this long!

Once again, it appears the BBC, amongst other media, has jumped in where it thinks it can discredit Trump. However there seems to be plenty of evidence out there to show the story is a pile of poo.

You’d think they’d have learned after Buzzfeed’s fake news earlier in the week. At what point do Trump haters start to question what they are being fed? Never, it seems.

A positive to take from the incident is a group of young people have received an education of the nature of the media.

I thought the boys acted respectful considering the man was banging a drum in his face for many minutes.

If he’d said something like, “Look matey, just get over the fact that we kicked your arses, assimilated the best bits of your culture – which wasn’t very much – and now have the vast majority of you living on white-man handouts whilst we stand from coast-to-coast as masters of the land” then maybe that would be rude, true but rude.

Maajid starts up his outrage bus “stop screaming Nazi, don’t misuse words”
I notice he just said “the debate should calm down, both sides by using the word Nazi devalue it , yet the next breath he casually slings the smear label “white supremacist” at someone

“yesterday a white-supremacist called me a filthy P-word on Twitter”

Again thinking ‘is this true or partially a game of Chinese whispers ?’
    Claims
#1 someone called him filthy : TRUE
#2 “The P-word” : Kind of, but not the direct way you’d think
..actually they wrote P***, which caused the twitter algorithm to reject Maajid’s complaint
(However that SomaliCarl account is now marked “suspended”)
#3 “White supremacist” ? See below
#4 Is there any special context ?
.. Ah yes Carl in his tweet claimed to be reacting to Maajid once again using the racially based term “whiteplaining”

    “white supremacist” ? Here’s Maajid’s logic
\\ This white supremacist account was previously “Earthling Carl” (banned) then “Jewish Carl” (banned) and now “Somali” Carl. //
.. So smearing someone with the label “white supremacist” is a big thing, and one needs big evidence for that
At first there is no direct evidence the Somali Carl account is white-supremacist.
People do say “Earthling Carl” is behind the account and that does seem likely
“Earthling Carl” does run a popular YouTube account which does call out LBC libmob preaching
I notice in October after Carl made a vid deconstructing Maajid, Maajid on air called him “White supremacist” and main reason for that was that in a call “Earthling Carl” opened by truthfully calling Maajid a “former terrorist”.
I’ve never seen Carl saying anything like “All white people are better” indeed I seem to recall that in other videos Carl has called out people on the right for going too far.
Of course since the SomaliCarl account has just been suspended we can’t check to see if it tweeted white supremacist stuff.

[we should leverage muslims more to call out the jew] – Totally agree

Does anyone actually care when they learn of a young black man killing another young black man? Surely it’s just a way of keeping the numbers down?

    Stuchbery Vs James Goddard
Stuchbery reckons Goddard broke his bail conditions cos he tweeted image which show that Stuchbery’s address is visible on the Companies registry and electoral roll

Goddard replied he did it cos Stuchbery had done a thread doxxing Goddard’s girlfriend, naming her and alluding to the location
Of course it’s a thread full of hate
.. ironic since antifa bill themselves as the good guys. None of Stuchbey’s friends call him out
Of course the law rarely acts properly against antifa, so that tweet is still there.
Goddard’s tweet is no longer up.

“So, two hijacks, my dear Watson,” Sherlock said. “But the law only bothered to follow up one of them.” He sucked at his old, briar pipe.
“Of what hijacks do you speak?” I inquired of my friend.
“Why, of the exploding pizza van, of course, ” he replied. “That had the PSNI all over it.”
I desisted from asking about the case of the exploding pizza. “What is the other hijack to which you refer?”
He looked at me through a cloud of smoke. “Why, the very hijack of parliament,” he said. “A crime far worse: the theft of the dreams of freedom of an entire people, as well as the democracy they believed in up to now, but no sign of the law anywhere…”
“But surely parliament is the very reflection of the Rule of Law?” I protested.
Sherlock seemed -for a brief second- to smile, as if at my naivety.
“Not when the scoundrels sit at its very heart, my dear Watson. Not when there is corruption at the very core…”
“That would indeed be a Grievous and Major misdeed, if I May say so,” I replied. “I shall put pen to paper…”
“Do not,” my friend said sharply. “For thus far the media have been the biggest liars of all, in this matter.”

Interesting program on Radio 4 about the ridiculous state of UK foreign aid, and continuing charity organisations paying for ‘orphanages’ in Africa.

It would be difficult for a politician to stop the money flowing to real orphanages, especially given the state of the lying MSM, yet it would appear that so much money is sloshing around this sector that ‘orphanages’ are more or less buying kids off families in order to stuff them into homes where they will be paid to ‘care’ for them.

Of course they don’t care for them with zero education and medical care, and the Ugandan government cannot close them down as fast as the UK will pay out to them.

It’s a racket, all about money with the kids taking second place to the greed, and ludicrous virtue signalling lefties who give money and then aren’t concerned with the consequences. I suppose it’s all we should expect post Oxfam (Jo Cox) and the far left lunacy which is allowed in these organisations, but remember next time you see an advert on TV to sponsor a child, that not only are they spending hundreds of thousands on advertising, but that they are actually ruining childrens lives with their do gooding

Not directly BBC bias, but the subject, the far right, is never far from the BBC.
I follow in detail the machinations of the left and the right and am beginning to note an increasing number of splits within what the media call the far right, which is really, the anti- muslim movement.

What alerted me to post these two vids is a facebook vid doing the rounds where an EDL man complains that Tommy Robinson kidnapped this guy’s mother, held her for ransom, but was arrested. Cops let him go. Conclusion. Tommy secretly works for the cops.
Farfetched. Yes. But it indicates splits and hostilities.

GWF AFAIK splits in Tommy support are not new, they date to before he was arrested in Leeds.
Everyone came together for the march for freedom, but Lucy invited Ali Dawhal behind TR’s back
TR fired her cos Ali has threaten his family before, some people thought TR was harsh.
Antifa always seem to be trying to blackmail people to leave.
And the way previous to that Ezra fell out with Caolan (photo’d above) a few months before that over claims that Caolan and boyfriend kept demanding more money and seeming to be threatening to blackmail.
Said to be the real reason TR left the Rebel
Not Caolan was with Tommy in Leeds, but was particularly weak, the kangaroo court happened rigt in front of him. It wasn’t until Ezra got involved that the legal appeal started.
Caolan has since proved himself by continuing to work within the exterior movement by still making films about the coverups of refugee crime etc.

Farage said he couldn’t support TR cos TR’s security man was once convicted of kidnapping ..I didn’t check that cos these stories have a habit of turning out to be weak
eg maybe the guy years ago didn’t give his own kids back to his estranged wife .and she got him charged with kidnapping etc.

The interviewer can’t get his head round the fact that Caolan doesn’t share his views on open borders just because he has changed his mind about Islam. It’s almost like he’s saying that he liked him until he said he opposed mass migration.

    (ctd from previous…)
Having partaken of his 7% solution, Holmes was away for a while, affording me the opportunity to ponder the ‘Case of the Two Hijacks’, as I now feel compelled to record this matter.
A trip to Londonderry to investigate the exploding pizza van seemed unlikely. It appeared to me that the mind of my old friend had been rather more preoccupied with the hijack of parliament.
This he confirmed by suddenly sitting bolt-upright on the couch. “Parliament Watson!” he shouted, “We need to move, and move quickly!” Astonished at this unexpected recovery, I inquired as to his intentions.
“We’re off to see Inspector von Richthofen,” he declared, donning his coat. “He is charged with security at parliament. If anyone knows who is behind its hijack, it is he.”
I was baffled, and had to muster all my courage to ask: “von Richthofen? That is not an … er …very English name..?”
Holmes gave me one of his piercing stares. “Elementary, my dear Watson. No one who is truly English, would want to hijack parliament.” His teeth clenched around the stem of his old briar pipe.
    “Traitors?” I managed to whisper.
He ignored my query. “We are dealing with very devious minds, Watson. Minds willing to usurp the Will of the People just like that!” He snapped his fingers. “Minds happy to sow endless discord in the nation, to satisfy their own selfish lust for power. Minds convinced we have already forgotten…”
    “Treachery?” I Starmered.
He nodded. “They desire only to prance about on TV, showing off…”
“Surely that has not been invented yet!” I objected.
“You think a little thing like that would put them off?” he demanded. “You have no idea..”
