To be perfectly honest – I think the BBC would be more than happy if the Republicans started bombing public places and shooting policemen again – provided they said they did it “because of Brexit”

These brain washed idealogues are no better than sixth form revolutionaries. They have no appreciation of the misery that war brings, and are quite happy talking it up , if it helps to stop Brexit.

Disturbing footage from France of protesters burning a ReichEU flag . Why bother ? It’s worthless but soft on the skin and very absorbant – easy to flush too…

Secondly apparently Germans have taken to luminescent jackets to protest about some ReichEU directive or other putting up the price of diesel juice for some false green nonsense. Let’s hope it gets worse eh?

    * and she was on R5 Live Piennaar’s politics this morning
    * And she was on R4 News Quiz on Friday/Saturday

She’s claiming there are job losses in Sunderland
AFAIK jobs were to be increased ..and Nissan backtracked , that is not the same as proper jobs losses

I suppose it will split between metro liberals with no morality and the decent Americans who were wise enough to give a non swamp dweller the key to the White House .
The survival of the KKK democrat is probably subject to news cycles and ‘events ‘.

Rumours abound that Mrs Chamberlain will go for snap election ?
Here is the ‘rub’, she will get a lousy deal for Brexit and then go for a General Election in the full knowledge that she will walk it because the Labour Party is a no runner.
If this happens I can see a tidal wave of Tory voters speedily joining UKIP . Just a thought .

Luckily, since we know business and probity are as one, Nissan using the Brexit card would have nothing to do with pressurising the government towards underhand, under-counter deals involving favourable and ‘friendly’ tax environments for their existing production lines. It almost goes without saying that would not apply, luckily.

Watching the “Inside Europe “ documentary which led to the Referendum is one of those few programmes where facts replace propaganda.

It is a reminder of how we came to where we are and that the FrancoKraut ReichEU is an enemy, if not currently – but soon to be

Their tune will change when Putin has another go at the Eastern Reich border and they come running to America and a little bit – Blighty . Which will be payback time .

If it is part of his chess game I’d say ‘well played sir ‘ because Your staff in Brussells are doing a great job at offending the country which picks up 20% of Reich EU funding for zip in return …

      Meanwhile in the real world
      in 2018 UK car sales
UK diesels outsold pure EV by 50 to one
      750,00 to 14,000
Add in hybrids diesels still outsell them ten to one .. : self charging 80,000.. hybrid plugins 60,000
(figs R4 You and Yours on Friday)
      petrol cars 1.5 million

..I think car life is looking to 20 years these days, so marketers need to come up with smart ways to convince people to get rid of their 5 year old car

BBC Newcastle Look North leads with the Nissan Story tonight. Unbelievable bias…
Reports centre on due to ‘uncertainty about Brexit’.
No mention at all of the other reasons.
The fall in demand for diesels… The main factors in the announcement. Nissan was planning to make mainly diesel versions of the X-Trail in Sunderland. Also European sales of the X-Trail fell 31 percent to 47,923 last year, according to JATO Dynamics market researchers..
The decision also follows the announcement of a free-trade deal between the EU and Japan on Friday. The EU will reduce the 10% duties on car imports to zero by 2027.
I look forward to more crap from the Look Norths report tomorrow morning and I bet this will be the leading story again just in to make sure project fear North East continues..

Watching the rugby highlights you’d never have guessed the England game was actually on ITV. With the well known chocolate-voiced impartiality of Eddie Butler – odd how he’s always available to add his little touches of spite and negativity when England are playing – the impression of being simply a timelapse replay of yesterday’s game was seamless.
Cleverly done, and neatly covering over the fact that yet again the BBC are outbid for major sports while still regarding Linaker and all the other mega-buck pocketers as good value for our money.

    • Piku says:

The BBC weren’t outbid for Six Nations TV rights. The BBC and ITV submitted a joint bid to ensure that the championship was available on free-to-air tv.

      • Beltane says:

And in the same spirit of comradeship and co-operation, that would explain why the BBC made no mention of the fact that the game could be viewed on ITV, instead continuously promoting the Radio5Live commentary.

The bbc know that we know but they also know we are utterly powerless to do anything about it.
They have the utmost confidence that any debate or any inquiry will find in their favor. They have zero fear of OFCOM, they know it it’s just too afraid of them and regard the Charter as their toilet paper.
Lord knows how anyone can change things – all the petitions just seem a waste of time while the Government has no will.
The US has several ‘bbcs’ BUT at least they have Fox News. Sky terminated Fox for it’s UK customers, due to, “low viewing figures” Bollocks, it’s the kind of thing they do in China and other controlling, repressive states.

Tonight in Atlanta is the “Highlight” of the American sporting calendar – SuperDull 53.

The bBBC are showing it live, rather than Football or Cricket or Rugby or Golf or Horse Racing or Formula One.

But bBBC are probably delighted. After all, most of the players tonight will be BAME’s of some description, and apparently two of the cheerleaders are “men”. And I use that word loosely.

That sounds like the same format that was used for the reindeer sleigh program which was actually quite good. No presenter or narration, just occasional text fading in & out. Very little chance for them to work the usual agenda promotion in. Relaxing to watch. The best thing I’ve seen on a BBC channel for about a decade.

A story deemed newsworthy by the BBC about Lewes FC calling for the prize money for the women’s FA Cup and the men’s FA Cup to be equal:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47107117

Now I have absolutely nothing against women’s sport or Women’s football and I think participation in sport is generally a good thing. One could equally argue, invalidly in my view, that the prize money in all men’s football, worldwide, should be equal or that rugby union and cricket prize money should be, somehow, made to be comparable with that of football. Where would this kind of Utopian Socialist inspired thinking end?

Let us also bear in mind the disparity in standard between men’s and women’s football as indicated by the following:
