39 days or 6 Weeks until A50 expires .Whatever happens we are to be witness the greatest challenge to democracy since a small German attempted to take it away some 80 years ago .
The small German had Goebbels to help him . The current version is the BBC
I heard this on the way in today …….. you would think by now the BBC would get the vibe that us ordinary folk are sick to the back to teeth of this gender muck … alas no

Now imagine if it was the other way round ? The fact that 3 times as many WOMEN appeared on the list would be celebrated and that would be absolutely fine and dandy. Like i always say, sexism and racism, only ever work one way.

But the BBC won’t have this . It’s used the “some say “ technique to claim use this incident as an anti brexit project Fear weapon .
And it’s going to get worse
Maybe the BBC should get the Harrabin to say that 10000 job losses is a good thing because of the end of diesel and the need for electric cars .

Anyone listening to Toady at 0650 would have heard a jovial knockabout ‘interview’ between Toenails Robinson and none other than……..Derek Hatton (ex Militant Tendency, denounced by Neil Kinnock for hiring taxis to go round handing out redundancy notices), who has just rejoined the Labour Party !!!!
All very chummy.
The present Labour Party does not want to make capitalism work more fairly, it wants to destroy it, regardless of cost and the effect on ordinary people.

PS anyone care to give examples of where socialist economies have outperformed market-based ones in the last 50 years?

A little local geographical difficulty for the BBC and Nick Robinson on TODAY this morning. “We are joined by XXXX, a lecturer at Aston Business School which is close by Honda’s Swindon plant.” Or words to that effect, ‘not far from’ or ‘nearby’.
Those no so quite as widely travelled at taxpayers’ expense as our Nick, happen to know that Aston Business School is in Birmingham and Swindon is in, well, Swindon. Over 80 miles apart.
Dear old BBC. Don’t you just love ’em for their disasters!

Martha didn’t raise Rebecca’s speak last week about “ decarbonising Britain” and frowning a “ Green economy”
So we might think Rebecca woukd celebrate the closure of a diesel plant .
But Martha didn’t challenge – no talk about the environment – and Rebecca got a BBC free pass.

We should be fairly happy in this country. We are not at war, we have a level of security and social care and so on and yet because we don’t have enough gay, black women footballers being paid the same as the men – it’s the end of the World with the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

The mentally challenged disciple of Goebells – Alistair Campbell – has given an interview to The Guardian saying the passing of Humphrys on Toady should make the BBC R4 ‘less middle aged “ and “less middle classed”.
My reaction ? Why give a creature like him attention ? Why does his opinion matter ? Does he listen to R 4 ? It’s infantile – propaganda laden output .
Fewer and fewer listening and we here know why .

On the upside at least we don’t hear Campbell going on about thick brexiters as much as he did .

The term (according to my parents) is ‘late middle age’… which seems to last until you’re past 90 odd.
Campbell himself is 61, which he probably considers ‘early middle age’?
Mind you, with so many ‘kidults’ in their 30s, that would make me a ‘young adult’ (again)… yahey!

The government is not looking after our people. They were fully aware of the impending situation a long time ago and did nothing of use. They should be building patrol vessels manned by the Royal Navy with orders to intercept and return aliens back from whence they came. Or adopt the successful Australian method of border control. We have plenty of islands of our shores .
Nigel Farage warned of this – years ago!
Swindon will have floor space and skilled men that can adapt to building boats.

Black, female, New York based Guardian writer Dream McClinton sounds like a fake invention; an auto-generated creation straight out of some liberal fantasy.
But here she is, writing about the ‘art form’ that’s the subject of a new Netflix doc and which she says African Americans are struggling to preserve. That art form turns out to be roller skating. In Guardianland roller skating is far more than a childhood nostalgia trip or a recreational pastime — it’s a “cultural connector with generational ties.” And the reasons for its decline are (of course) corporate greed, heavy-handed policing and racist rink owners. With three rinks closing every month in the US (has there ever been a less troublesome statistic in the history of journalism?), the real crime all this highlights is “dwindling black cultural spaces”. Who would have guessed.
Funny how the decay of ‘generational ties’ and ‘cultural spaces’ only ever bothers the Guardian in certain cases and never others e.g. Whitechapel, Luton, Bradford, my high street etc.

However, the line that grabs my attention is this one
The fact remains the most privileged person on the planet is still the white male.
“But unless they can feel as uncomfortable as single women do walking home at night in the dark or getting into a taxi alone, there’s always going to be that gap in understanding.”
Really … most privileged ??? I’d say the “most under attack” and mostly by women.

Doobster, by coincidence I’m just back from a lunchtime conversation in which I was told exactly the same about my privilege. (Note: not discussed; ‘told’.) Fair enough. But that line reveals much about the hidden drive behind identity politics… it won’t be achieved til everyone’s been dragged down into the mire of guilt and shame so we all feel as uncomfortable as each other.
It’s the lowest common denominator that always wins.

Honda Swindon factory closure. As I understand it, a part of that decision is to do with the replacement model for the Civic. I’ll bet more than a few at the Swindon factory know about the detail of the, ‘new model’ to be built in Japan.
Well, a large factory and background supply chain all in place will be vacant.
Back in the late 50’s / 60’s Japan took the American Caterpillar tractor range and analysed each component, particularly dimensionally. Voila! The Japanese ‘Komatsu’ was born (well, sort of – more a test tube baby to be more accurate). The Komatsu range slightly differed from its US Caterpillar parent mainly in fractional changes in dimensions just to avoid patent issues, unlike the Chinese these days. Those were the days when intellectual property thieves still had some scruples!
Time to get nasty boys and girls and join the asians business practices!

John Redwood says on his blog: “I am deleting contributions to the site that wrongly ascribe the planned closure of Honda Swindon to Brexit given the very clear statements made by Honda that is about other matters. I will comment in more detail tomorrow.”
http://johnredwoodsdiary.com/
Meanwhile, the BBC should be thinking (!) about:
Electrification
Gradual demise of diesel
State of Chinese market
Honda is not moving to the EU
Reduction in tariff on cars imported from Japan to 0%.
Surprising that the EU/Japan deal giving tariff-free access for Japanese cars went through so smoothly. Surely one or two gifted experts like Olly Robbins, Grieve or Soubry might have spotted that this gave the EU an attractive revolving door to Japanese trade while at the same time hitting the major manufacturer of Japanese cars in Europe….the UK.
Obviously it’s one of those ironic coincidences that crop up from time to time, but you’d have thought all the remainers would have made a right old song and dance about all the negativity and cliff-edgedness of the deal. So why did nobody in ‘government’ notice? Surely not because they knew how it would hit public confidence?
Latest sensible, fact driven analysis from John Redwood:
Honda loses out in Europe and worries about the change to electric cars
eg: “Honda’s market share has fallen a long way in recent years in Europe. From selling 311,000 cars at the peak in 2007, last year it sold just 136,000. The Swindon plant is only running one of the two lines, and at under 150,000 cars a year it is a small plant by world standards.”

We’re giving you 10 days to get correctly licensed .
So is the latest missive from TV Licensing . That’s funny . I thought I was correctly licensed . I had a look , yep , my HGV licence is valid , my firearms licence is valid , my ADR is valid , pilots licence etc . My doctors registration to perform surgury isn’t valid because
1) I have never wanted to be a surgeon
2) I haven’t bothered to take any exams .
But then I’m not purporting to be a surgeon . My Waste Transfer Site is also not valid for the same reason , I don’t have a waste transfer site . I’m sure I’m like you all , perplexed that you would be harassed to comply and pay for licences you have no need for .
The letter doesn’t brook any argument that you don’t need a licence . In fact there are two more threats within that are statements ;
We will not visit you for 10 days , but you must get correctly licensed .
And
Remember – you have until 28th February to get correctly licensed .
For sure there is a bit on the back page sub titled Don’t think you need a TV Licence ? Including a round circle and diagonal line ( FORBIDDEN ) with a TV within . But it goes on to tell how you should have a licence , not your choice not to have one .
[ there’s also the very small writing perpendicular to the page with the letters and numbers thus : INO11G INBE-3EU-09-16 4014N/190206/110930/0010872E page 2 000000 , I’m sure that tells someone somewhere more than the code further up which is REV/J/COL/1EN/04/18 , which is nothing to to limitless numbers above the address which are 766281010371940000000310971001001000000 then I presume even the computerised letter machine takes a breather as there’s a gap before 0000040 357 A . ] .
Well on the 28 th I will be correctly licensed , but not with a TV one . Watch this space for further adventures of Nibor Against the Threatograms .

Nibor – you must be due for the sinister “ where will you be on the 23rd of February ?” Letter .
I sometimes wonder if this is from The Grim Reaper reminding me to get my affairs in order . The trouble with those Will You Be In Threatograms is that they then prevaricate , obfuscate and go all round the houses to not quite give the message about whether they will call or not , on that day or any other , morning noon or night etc .
This breeds uncertainty , and businesses don’t like uncertainty says the BBC . I was going to buy a new car , but because I’m uncertain due to not knowing if TV Licensing are going to turn up or not etc I can’t invest in a new car until I know I won’t buy a car without a deal . I don’t want to buy a new car then crash out of the showroom . The clock is ticking and TVLicensing should show up .

Not BBC. But a topic they studiously avoid.
Yet this is from the Indy, FHS.
Noting the order of those responsible. mind.

Halal slaughter and Kosher slaughter should be banned in our country.

Yes, because it’s OUR country – not though you’d know it.

No need to ban in our tolerant society. Simply make the practice legally conditional on the two religions involved, islam and Judaism, co-operating within their own registered slaughter-houses, killing cattle and sheep reared specifically for the purpose and marketed exclusively for their benefit.
Such meat will inevitably be significantly more expensive but, if that’s what they want….

“UK employment hits another record high”
“Skill shortages”
Thanks to Blair and his stupid idea of getting every kid into ‘Yoony’ doing stupid ‘ology’ degrees in ‘meeja’, humanities, art and design and all the other non-useful topics that one could name under the sun. Those kids would have been better placed in life learning a skill or trade that would have put them on the housing ladder and the pension schemes they will need for their future. Roll on Brexit and Independence.
Hows about that maxi ?

“Parts of public sector ‘not ready’ for no-deal Brexit”
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-47280899
“The UK government has recognised that there may be disruption to the supply of some fresh food from the continent if a no-deal Brexit leads to delays at ports and airports.”
They have had two years to get things done , have they been sleeping or trying to change the result ? More ‘Project Armageddon’.
Plenty of Welsh farmers ready to tool up and sell fresh ‘seasonal’ veg. they always have done but the CAP has stifled that.

And plenty of fresh fish from OUR waters.

I remember a time in Wales when milk was poured down drains, butter was given away free, and potatoes were deliberately stained purple so that they could only be used for animal fodder. Was all this done under the orders of the EU to artificially inflate the prices in line with the European market ?

Like the Germans and the rest – they never thought Brexit would come to pass.

Here is a small list of Ford UK.
1911 Trafford park opened , moved to Dagenham 1931 .
1923 Dagenham opened .
1949 Langley opened closed 1997 .
1939 Southampton opened taken over by Ford in 1953 .
1962 Haleswood opened , finished 2000
1964 Basildon opened closed 1991
2013 all Ford assembly and engines moved with EU funding to Turkey .
In Ireland at Cork , opened 1927 , closed 1984 .
I did this little potted history , which is not exhaustive , just about Ford but could also have made it about any international car manufacturer .in fact you can go to https://en.wikipedia.org/List_of_Ford_factories
which shows scores of them being set up all round the world , then being closed at later times the average lifespan being about forty years .

Why don’t the bbc highlight the fact that these Japanese companies are moving their production back to Japan, because (unlike the useless May government) they were able to successfully negotiate a free trade deal with the EU without actually being in a customs union, a single market or under the jurisdiction of the ECJ!
What a great idea.

Can’t find anything on the BBC about this, but most of the media are running with the story that the token Duchess, ex model Meghan, supports decolonising the yoonies, getting rid of connexions to the Empire her new found family helped to protect.
The yoonies are male, pale and stale, and she wants them decolonised with lots of token PoCs like what she is.
Keep it up Missie Meg and you will soon be writing your column for the comrades in the SWP.
By the way Missie Meg, science students are rather attached to Einstein, who was male and pale, and being of Jewish background might not be attractive to your friends in the far left.
