Start the Week Open Thread 22 April 2019

The Slaughter of Christians by Muslims continues to be under reported by the BBC and the rest of the main stream media . Yet even the slightest incident involving Muslims as victims gets the full treatment . I’m sure the BBC could explain this – surely ?

Not yet on Al Beeb yet, but it is rumored that there is a plot afoot to oust Mrs Chamberlain.
I am afraid the time is up for the Tory Party, they had their chances and they blew it. The only reason they are serious now is because they can see that their own comfortable seats are under threat.

Trump was a surprise. Brexit was a surprise. Macron came from nowhere.
Could we get our election surprise sometime soon, maybe Farage as PM.
A long shot but the way things are going it’s becoming more possible day by day and with a bloody minded electorate anything could happen.

“Sri Lanka attacks: ‘International network’ linked to bombings”

I knew it, it’s them Freemasons again.

What a disingenuous, weasel headline, still trying to deliberately mislead, distract and deflect attention away from the simple fact that it’s an Islamic jihadist terror group.

The important fact is NOT whether it may or may not be home-grown, international, or a bit of both. People around the world are not asking themselves those questions. They want to know whether it was Islamic or not.

Actually, they knew immediately and the beeb are just making themselves look ridiculous with all their word-games, sophistry and prevarications. Some might say, taqiyya.

The exploitation of ‘racial guilt’ very blatant. You can hear the same thing being pushed on the Beeb in ten, twenty, thirty years’ time…
Such a guilt fest, the bbc has excelled itself. Let’s rend our garments and beat ourselves over the head, daily. You could hear the anti-white sentiment, and resentment, straining on the leash. A certain strand of ‘liberal’ sentiment, no doubt.
I have a strange feeling that yet another apology would only disappoint the producers of the programme; they seem to greatly enjoy droning on in such a dedicated -if not obsessive- fashion…

But then, they didn’t colour their maps pink. Big mistake, with hindsight.

Apologies and reperations.. what a load of bollox. I have a fantastic idea, both Alexander Fleming who invented antibiotics, and Edward Jenner who invented vaccines, were British.

Before these medicines wed invented 50% of children would die before the age of 5. Because of the invention of these life saving medicines and the British inventions created in the industrial reolution, the world population has increased from 700 million to 7 billion…

… this means that 90% of people today are alive thanks thanks to the British, and they owe us this as a debt (with interest). So i suggest that the 90% of people who are alive today thanks to British inventions like Antibiotics, Vaccines, electricity, fertelizer… should pay the UK royalties forever.

When we get paid that money, then we can use a few percent to pay for slavery reparations… after these slave descendants pay us for ending slavery of course.

Clearly bigoted supremacist religious texts calling for world conquest and the killing of Jews, Christians and infidels should be banned forthwith, right?

“Christchurch shootings: The people killed as they prayed”

After the Christchurch killings, the BBC put out a wonderful memorial to the mosque victims. There is a mosaic of some victims followed by photos and information on each victim such as their employment background. You can even apply filters to get lists of victims from each mosque/male or female etc.

I imagine the Sri Lanka memorial will be a lot bigger, and a lot more complex to compile. But it will be a fitting tribute will it not. I mean, “they were also killed while they prayed” were they not?

it’s not like they’re not going to follow up this attack on Christians, and keep us updated. Like they did (and still are) with the Christchurch attack.

Otherwise, it would give the impression that Christians are valued less than Muslims by the BBC. That can’t be true.

That sums up the situation, but also we have to remember
        – when a muslim commits an evil act he automatically rescinds his privileged status as a muslim. So there is in fact no such thing as an islamist terrorist attack as once the attack takes place it’s flagged as a NTDWI event.

As far as the BBC is concerned, islamic attacks just don’t occur, as in Sri Lanka and Nigeria.

    (1) (Original from the Sopade report) Nazi propaganda was most effective in the younger generations of Germans, who after all had had few chances to form their own firm values and beliefs before the regime began, and who were subjected to massively intense and unremitting indoctrination from their schools, from the Hitler Youth, and from the mass media orchestrated by Goebbels. Younger people were disproportionately receptive to National Socialism. A survey showed that 62 per cent of young people admitted to having been ‘positive or mainly positive’ about National Socialism, compared to only 35 per cent of the older generation.

    (2) Environmentalist propaganda was most effective in the younger generations of Britons, who after all had had few chances to form their own firm values and beliefs before the regime began, and who were subjected to massively intense and unremitting indoctrination from their schools, from Youth organisations, and from the mass media orchestrated by Attenborough. Younger people were disproportionately receptive to Environmentalism. A survey would probably show that 62 per cent of young people would admit to having been ‘positive or mainly positive’ about Environmentalism, compared to only 35 per cent of the older generation.

Crisis at the BEEB! says Sunday Times Magazine! April 21st 2019.

By a former BBC editorial Director executive (Roger Mosey) has admitted that the BBC is at risk of being ‘eaten’ (he was referring to strong competition from other broadcaster such as Netflix and Amazon). He writes as concern mounts on the admission that the corporation has lost over 880,000 TV license fee payers. Only a year ago 25.8 million fees driven largely by population growth. Now with youth deserting the BBC (those who will never actually pay for a TV license, the BBC is in trouble.

TV license cancellations (amongst the under 75’s) rose from 860,192 in 2017-18 to 882,198 in March 2018. So its a compound increase with nobody wanting to pay for a TV license and Youths unable to pay (or won’t) pay for a TV License. However it’s much worse than that. BBC TV audience figures are falling drastically and the Radio figures are even worse.

Loss of TV license fees equates to an annual loss of £880 million in lost revenue. Interestingly Mosley criticised “the dumbing-down of news and ‘the nonsense put on social media by the BBC”.

There is also a big problem of BBC management COCK-UPS. When so called BBC*stars* are grossly over paid. On top of that the BBC has employed them as ‘private’ companies. When under HMRC payment guidelines almost ALL were immediately re-classified from self-employed ‘freelance’ to BBC ‘employees’ again. That little racket meant that they avoided paying NHI contributions and a lot less tax. They all worked exclusively for the BBC. The BBC has offered to pay HMRC two-thirds of ALL the income tax tax payable and has had to re-employee the same disgruntled journalists and presenters back again. A huge loss. Then three there was the Cliff Richard fiasco which they lost incidentally more money. BBC employees seem to have the word ‘journalist’ tagged onto their employment including DJ’s who are all ‘protected’ under the BBC until arrested or (re-arrested) over the years which further undermines the corporation. Jimmy Saville, of course avoided arrest. But if you ask ‘are they (all) worth it?’ the stock BBC answer is that ‘… they are forced to pay above the market to get the best talent!!! Wow!

Reading through the Times Supplement feature (5 pages) its clear that the BBC is indeed in crisis. He quotes; The writing is on the wall. …Inside the BBC, there is nervousness about what the future holds. “There is an end-of-an-era feel to the place”, according to one well-known broadcaster, while another talks about” much sense of drift”.

Mosey uses some stats to illustrate the unique problem the BBC faces and why James Purnell has chosen to upset BBC loyalists (those that pay the TV license are mostly over 60). The median age of viewers for BBC1 and BBC2 and ITV is more than 60 (according to Ofcom). Youth is becoming an obsession for the BBC

BBC stats show that UK ‘Youths spend an average of 59 minutes on YouTube compared with just 3 minutes with BBC iPlayer. SOUNDS app is not yet functioning as a replacement for iPlayer. A Few top programs have gone TOP GEAR for example was an international money spinner, Dr Who is less followed by Strictly Come Dancing and Sport. The number of BBC nominations for current affairs is at an all time low. At this years BAFTA television awards there was only was one. Plus the BBC has failed (is failing) to engage a wider younger audience, despite millions diverted into it.

If it fails to modernise its image its stuffed. If it fails to keep the over 65’s happy its stuffed. Either way, its Toast. The BBC is hoping its new international ‘subscription’ service with ITV has been launched but its ten years too late to compete with Apple Netflix or Amazon. He says.

On the plus side its good to have an ex BBC editorial Director admitting that the BBC has lost the plot and cringes at BBC news websites loaded with ‘click-bait’ to find any audience for 35’s and then laments the BBC for not making something out of BREXIT. In a nutshell, end of an era for the BBC. What happens next I wonder?

Phillip – I used to write here using the term ‘failing BBC’ – thankfully it looks at though the inevitable is coming to pass and we can help it sink just a bit quicker .

BBC successes are so few now that they are celebrated beyond their value – The hugely self indulgent metro ‘fleabag’ is an excellent example – as with police dramas like “Line of Duty “ and ‘Bodyguard ‘ which some might consider to be comedy .

No wonder good intelligent people go off to online channels and avoid paying the TV tax . Unfortunately for the likes of me – it seems inevitable that the Licence will be ended and the BBC funded out of General Taxation – so that Avenue of protest will be closed .

If the numbers are right – that the bbc says it loses £250 million from tax evasion but spends £100 million on recovery – then the case for licence abolition is strengthened .

Don’t get me wrong – I want to see the BBC destroyed as I believe it evil and corrupt – I choose those words carefully and not just a rant . It is now an enemy to the British Way of Life – celebrating anything which isn’t of my way of life . An enemy .

What happens next is that either Labour is in power and supports the BBC by raising the licence fee andinvesting heavily in propaganda.

      Or

The idle useless Tories get in and do absolutely nothing, because they are clueless save to the fact the BBC pensions deficit would fall to central government, and they don’t want that either.

I believe part of al beeb’s strategy of disinformation is to create in the sheeple’s minds a notion that there is somewhere out there a mysterious amorphous creature called ‘International Terrorism’.

(It’s too complicated for your little brains to understand, just trust us, it’s out there. And it’s largely the creature of your wicked colonial history.)

This means that whenever there is an islamic terrorist attack, they can put it down to ‘international terrorism’ and people will nod their heads knowingly. Ah yes, it’s them international terrorists what the beeb keep telling us about, terrible isn’t it?

And learned journalists will scratch their heads asking why, and claiming ‘they want to divide us’; ‘we mustn’t give way to anger or hate, that’s what they want’ etc.
(Actually it’s much simpler than that, they just want to kill Christians and Infidels, and spread their ideology worldwide, because that’s what their Leader and their scriptures tell them to do.)

Of course very occasionally, an act of terrorism is committed by some crazed lone wolf and suddenly it’s not that vague amorphous malevolent entity any more. No, now it’s that even more malevolent entity called the Far-Right (think Hitler times 10), or White Supremacists (Ku Klux Klan x 10).

And it’s never, ever, anything to do with islam.
AskTreezer. Ask Obama. Ask Emir Khan.

    Confused? Excellent.

      Vlad,

An earlier post pointed out that the bBC is describing the bombers as, allegedly of course, “religious extremists”, a similarly convenient and cowardly catch-all as “international terrorism”.

By deliberately failing to identify clearly the perpetrators of this terror the media degrades and dehumanises its victims, debasing the innocents so that they can eventually equate murdering Muslims with Christian cake-makers as they strive to enforce their cultural marxism globally.

Looking at it purely in terrorist terms, the Sri Lanka bombings have been a spectacularly successful operation. This leads to a worrying speculation. The attacks on Christian churches in Europe may now escalate and they could become the targets of coordinated groups of suicide bombers. We have seen how successful tactics have been copied before – the use of vehicles as weapons, for instance – and this latest terrorist spectacular must be giving jihadis everywhere ideas for future attacks on soft, vulnerable targets. This is where speculation and public discussion of the outrage, which the BBC seems to be studiously avoiding at the moment, may help to prepare us and save lives.

The BBC opening paragraph on their news website re Sri lanka bombings: “Scrutiny fell on rifts in Sri Lanka’s leadership on Monday after it emerged that authorities were warned about the group accused in Sunday’s bombings.”

Nope BBC. There are warnings about Muslim bombings in just about every country on earth, that isnt going to stop the carnage.

If no one belives the BBC protecting muslims and pointing the blame at the victims, then why do they do it?

Having viewed the surrounding areas of the bombed buildings in Sri Lanka, – bombings aside, no amount of money would induce me to visit the place. The same goes for Kinshasa, Africa, as seen on the series The Widow.

Because it fails to appreciate that the baddies want to get a full blown religious war going with the goodies . And if mosques are not attacked as a result of the’ Easter Worshipper ‘ slaughter then the latest version of ISIS will just attack and kill more Christians when the opportunity arises ….

I had a rather unpleasant experience a few hours ago. I was walking around my local area with one of those litter picking-up devices, and I’d just picked up a piece of litter when a thuggish-looking young man wearing a baseball cap and walking a dog shouted “f**k off” at the top of his voice from one end of the street to the other. It’s a fairly quiet area so it must have disturbed a lot of people. Presumably he’d just come out of the pub, but why do people think it’s okay to shout at people who are doing things like picking up litter? I bet that if I’d just been walking down the street without doing anything else he wouldn’t have shouted in the way he did. I know a lot of people these days think that swearing is somehow a “healthy” thing to do, because it helps them to let out their “frustrations”. I’m sorry, I don’t agree. It might help them, but it doesn’t help the people who are on the receiving end of it.

At least you didn’t engage this creature . Booze causes dehydration , dehydration causes the brain to act up and as a result you land up with the “baseball cap “ and his dog ….

This applies to boys and girls equally .

You might need to develop a strategy to choose a time to pick up litter . Early morning might be best . It’s a bit like the reality of city life where you routinely look out of your home before you open your front door . Best not to be ‘housed ‘ for the passing burglar …

I listened to the interview and Robinson did point out the UK’s record of CO2 reduction and that some say she should go China with her message. However, the most revealing thing was that apparently the child is “on the spectrum”, autistic maybe, but either way can only understand information in ‘black and white’. Hence she can’t comprehend the nuances of the debate where, as she sees it, we have a hundred percent sustainability or we haven’t.

Should the Extinction Rebellion (and the BBC) be using a child that is perhaps technically hadicapped to spread their extreme views on Climate Change? By extreme view I mean that they are obviously using the very worst case senario from the IPCC report RCP8.5 –

The stark contrast between Julia Hartley Brewer’s Talk Radio show this morning and anything on the BBC is astounding.
This is despite one of them being sponsored by The Times and the other being publicly funded (by force, of course) and supposedly unbiased and impartial.
Julia was highlighting the fact that, at least for the first 24 hours after the Sri Lanka massacre , you would have struggled to have found the word “Christian” or “Islamist” used in any of the reporting. She pointed out that it was not until the 9th paragraph of the report in the Telegraph that it was mentioned.
It was all going so well until her idiotic virtue signalling co host started spewing his rhetoric that Islam is an “amazing theology like all other religions blah blah blah”…
The point is though, why is our publicly funded state broadcaster working against the interests of Christians in what is essentially a Christian country.
Have they been infiltrated to such an extent or are they just in the pockets of the Saudi regime, or both?
The BBC are not just biased, they are traitors. They need to be investigated, tried for treason and abolished.

I try to stay optimistic , it’s tough but I try. One tiny green shoot I have noticed is that in the USA is that firebrand democrats like AOC , Crazy Bernie Sanders ( as old and daft as Corbyn) and that awful Muslim woman are frightening the Global capitalists . These Globalists are the ones who fund the Dems and the Never Trump Republicans . The extreme leftism Of AOC and Sanders and the extreme Islam of the other one ( forgotten the fanatics name) are making the Globalists realise that things could easily get out of control and seriously impact their wealth. This split between the unholy alliance of the left and the Global capitalists is necessary if Globalisation and Islamification are to be tamed and reversed. If the split can be widened then we will see the stranglehold of the left on the MSM weaken as its Globalist owners start to back less extreme politics. Of course the Dems will try and curb the firebrands but the fire is raging and AOC despite being dumb is good at whipping up a crowd into a lather of ‘‘wokeness’ . We should wish her well because she can’t possibly win , the money of the Globalists will see to that, but she can break up the unholy alliance unwittingly.
