I think the BBC ‘invented’ this mysterious guy because he obviously isn’t a Trump supporter and google can’t find him!

    /Daniel Mcelhinney from Trump UK/

Regarding the blimp on the Victoria Derbyshire programme, a BBC spokesman told MailOnline: ‘We featured a smaller version of the blimp in the studio to illustrate the protests due to take place and highlight one of the points of controversy about whether the blimp should be allowed to fly.

‘It appeared as part of an interview with protestor Anna Vickerstaff who is one of the organisers behind the blimp and Daniel Mcelhinney from Trump UK, a group of people who support the president.

‘Given the widespread protests across the UK at Trump’s state visit, it’s appropriate to be covering this topic.’

Mcilhiney argued the case for Trump quite well, however, I suspect that he was simply used to facilitate a debate that would allow the BBC to claim that they weren’t biased. On the other hand he may be a shill (pretending to be something he’s not)

A really disgraceful performance by the rabble because that is all one can call such utter rudeness to the Queen, not to Donald Trump but to the Presidency of the USA.

On Sunday evening Countryfile had one of its hard hitting items led by Tom Heap about how much land is owned by a very few large landowners. He hinted that they didn’t care for the land but was unable to provide any evidence. It all seemed a bit odd as having said there are some large landowners in this country and then having a couple of young Marxists speaking who said the same, the whole items fizzled to a halt. Mr D and I thought it was just a bit of trouble stirring by the BBC.

But today I read in the Dail Mail (not the most reliable of on-line papers I admit but it is free) that Labour have just brought out their report called ‘Land for the Many’. Not least is their plan to scrap Council Tax and replace it with a tax on gardens. There would be no single person discount as widows would be expected to share their house with as many Momentum types as wanted to move in, until they either died or handed the house over to the Labour supporters. (Sadly, I don’t think that within a short time I will be over-exaggerating this part). But for anyone with a pension this whole plan would be catastrophic as the value of their pension would crash, no good selling their house to raise some money to live on, because house prices will have crashed etc etc.

So what was Countryfile doing with their item by Tom Heap? It is obvious that it was planned to pave the way for the Labour report. What collusion went on between the makers of the programme and the Labour Party that this item was shown?
Countyfile is no longer about farming but as well as its overindulgence in diversity it no longer hides its propaganda value to the Left.

Deborah, that is kinda daft coming from the Labour Party that bolted Climate Change onto Anthropogenic Global Warming and prior to that forced the Conservatives into regressive taxation firstly with the Council Tax itself but after that, in a bidding war ‘to present Green credentials’ into introducing another regressive tax, the Fuel Duty Escalator.

The environmental importance of gardens has been highlighted more recently with regard to water and flooding, flowers & bee (and other pollinators) populations as well as birds and other wildlife. Then there’s the mental & physical health well-being aspects of gardens.

Does the Labour Party really want to tax gardens? They should ask the important ‘What if’ questions first. Taxation always has a downside.

The beauty of the Community Charge that Labour so violently opposed was that it really only had very minor downsides and then only two, really only one, that I can recall. The potential upsides of a tax like that are massive.

Private Eye was correct to provide a blank front page to list Theresa May’s achievements in office although there were one, perhaps two, although I cannot think of the second one! Ummmhh … . No, it won’t come to mind now.

After her Downing Street speech about fairness on Day Zero, she was advised to tackle unfair taxation: Fuel Duties (there is a timebomb ticking away there) and Council Tax.

Immediate changes could (and should in my view) have been made by Theresa May and Philip Hammond but were left undone. Sadly, ignoring dealing with that second Tax has already caused massive damage to our High Streets. The future damage of the Fuel Duties is yet to hit the Conservative Party.

That is, if the Conservative Party is still in existence, and with a chance of governing in coalition, in about five to ten years time.

Deborah – I too, was startled when Countryfile sounded explicitly political instead of focusing on cattle and such. I watched Tom Heap carefully for any sign of discomfort, but he was clearly happy to do political propaganda in his slot. You could hear the envy (and the call to arms?) dripping from every sentence.
‘Overindulgence in diversity’. That’s not new, so perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised when the programme ‘came out’.

Deborah, I don’t watch countryfile so was intregried by your post on Labour report on LAND FOR THE MANY, I’m shocked to think how far these Marxists are thinking. I have read the report and all I can hear is how much £££ this or that will bring in. Shocking, I felt as if I was reading a Stalinest report on how to bring in as much money as possible. If our foe Corbyn and his band of soap Dodgers get into downing street this country is doomed. I would recommend everyone to read this report and tell family and friends who own property or land to read this report carefully.

        • Up2snuff says:

cromwell, wrong question: how much £££ this or that will bring in?

Question should be: what may be done in response to this?

Answer is: likelihood of building on large gardens, extensions being built into small ones, wildlife under threat, greater risk of flooding, risk to health of removal of exercise & other well-being from gardens, increased warming from brick, concrete and glass, and – if you believe CO2 causes Global Warming – less CO2 absorption from plants & trees and cooling from lawns.

There are other downsides that can really only be tested by doing it: if you have a large garden that is big enough to build another house within, and that is done, you then get extra utility demand, various other demands: Benefits, Local Authority services, transport demands and you get a likely reduction in house values. That last can affect all sorts of things, including downsizing and pension boosting.

I cannot believe that the Labour Party would really be so stupid as to tax gardens.

But then …. the Conservatives and Limp Non-Dems, as well as the other Parties, do not exactly show the way in smart thinking.

This report is the same old resentful communist tendencies once again surfacing, courtesy of the comrades in Momentum. The report reads like a soft reboot of one of communism’s oldest aims: smash the evil landlords, steal their property and abolish private land and property ownership. This time, sending the cadres out into the countryside to ‘redistribute’ the Kulak’s property and land might not go down too well with the aspirant middle-classes, so a craftier approach is required. Something subtle, but which will nevertheless deliver much the same desired outcome.

Make no mistake, behind the countless new ‘local’ committees the comrades propose creating in this report lies the dead hand of the (socialist) state seizing assets and abolishing individual property rights. They hide behind all the usual deceptive buzzwords and, with comrade (George) Monbiot aboard, leading the charge as a co-author of this wretched propaganda, it’s little wonder we find Labour pimping out something it calls ‘climate change’ to justify its proposed state theft of other people’s property and land.

We should all pay attention to this subterfuge. This is how communism always works; carefully, slyly, so as not to scare the horses. Never speaking clearly, deliberately muddying the waters to sow confusion and uncertainty. But it’s aims remain clear. In the end it will amount to Expropriation Without Compensation – just like Stalin, just like Mao, Pol Pot and just like the communist ANC in South Africa today (aided by their comrades in the EFF).

I used to do that but just lately I have started collecting them, unread, unopened. For one it is quite facinating to see the variety of forms that they come in and to get a little thrill when a new or rare variety pops through the door. Secondly I might one day getting around to taking legal action as surely this is a form of harassment and it helps to have evidence.

        So far:
4 off “Will you be in” (brown envelope, three to ‘legal occupier’ one to me).
3 off “local investigation active” (white envelope, two to ‘legal occupier’ one to me).
1 off “investigation opened” (white envelope, ‘legal occupier’)
1 off “ringed calendar” (white envelope, ‘legal occupier’)
1 off “we will be visting your area soon” (small white envelope, ‘legal occupier’)
1 off plain envelope (red envelope, ‘legal occupier’)

Eight varieties! That’s eight times more than varieties of BBC comedians!

Piers Morgan on ITV this morning gave Emily Thornberry a tough time.

He pointed out that Obama sent more illegals and children back to Mexico than Trump has done in the same period. He asked her if she was aware of that and also could she quote the figures?

She super-blustered and her face became contorted.

Morgan also pointed out that Obama was a regular bomb dropper on Arab lands and maintained Guantanamo Bay when it was supposed to have been closed down. Where was the Left outrage?

The point he was making was that there was silence from the Left when Obama had a State visit but outrage when Trump visits.

A Labour politician would never have had such examination by the BBC. They reserve their efforts for Conservatives and The Brexit Party.

Following that there may be a rematch.
There may even be a vote to decide if a Liverpool win should be taken off them, and if it is it will then be debated again and possibly another vote.

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God’s good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

And theisland we are still fighting-with many members of my family fighting through Dunkirk, Greece, Normandy landings, Burma under the inhuman Japs, Korea, and then two sons in various theatres of war, thankfully still with us; the above words we still say, WE shall never surrender; well we almost bloody near have, given the numbers of people Britain has been forced to allow in- No thanks to the EU whose policies have all but wrecked Europe once a safe place not any more. A smaller Army, a smaller Navy and less than small Airforce and yet this nation is so often called upon to keep the peace in troubled areas of the world-what thanks do we get? None, envloped by mealy mouthed socialists who have never got their hands dirty in any part of the military or any other human social aid. Miserable lot you, and I have to live under. Hope against hope that once fully out of the contrlling EU this nation can mend its wounds of the past 50 yrs. Good luck.

beeb reporting… PROTESTS EVERYWHERE (apparently) against President Trump, and a trade deal

Surely more important a trade deal. Stop going on about protests, and showing pictures of a few people protesting, the 250,000 people the beeb forecast yesterday usually never happens, as many times before they predict. beeb you have become a disgrace to the United Kingdom – no longer fit for purpose!

Really, what Worldwide value is a Prime Minister or, even a US President for that matter within the scheme of things as they currenty are?
The Big Hand in the Sky or, ‘Mr Big’ if you prefer, that ultimately controls the media and the Broadcasters Worldwide, sense a people’s revolt in the air. So they actively fan the flames. This includes giving examples of utter disrespect to the public so they can ‘follow their lead’ when presented with similar situations in the real World. If broadcaster/media show hostility and disrespect to interviewees or subjects, so can you in your daily life. Gently, but very gently leading by the nose. But what has happened over the last, oh, three or four years to make Mr Big demand his/her controlled minions in the media ramp up a couple of gears? Indeed currently searching for the overdrive switch. Could it be the faltering of the drive to reach western World Globalist/Communist domination? Results not there? Indeed, now slipping away rapidly. US: President Trump; UK: Brexit & Nigel; EU: Resistance is springing up all over the western World. They both loathe and fear, ‘the people’.
I’ve got a simplistic view of all this. I think back to Newton’s Third Law i.e. For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action. ‘Fraid humans are not exempt. All our lives are controlled by those same essential principles.
    So what’s next?
Well, if you taunt people enough they will eventually react. Is this the current plan of Mr Big et al.? Push rebellion as the only option left? Quelled needless to say by police/military. All those lovely Bureaucratic Communists seeking the EU Army. A bit late now, maybe, with all that’s happening. If rebellion is quelled successfully: Hey Presto! you’ve got immediate control and this is what they seek. Done and dusted all in one. Nobody can tell me that Macron has not already made preparations for the Yellow Vest situation slipping too far in the wrong direction.

BBC running with the story of the Japanese funeral parlour worker about the work rule she must wear high heels.
Yes I’m with her, I wouldn’t do a job where I had to wear them.
When I lived in Japan in was the rule in almost all jobs where women were front of house or sales, but in lots of other jobs women wore normal shoes.

AFAIK it’s to with that women signal they are fertile, and that sales women would make better sales when they are fertile whether the customer is male or female.
Adopting dress that falsely signals she is fertile, means she increases her sales all the time.
It’s something people could have a serious discussion about, instead of schreeching.

The Reith lecturer this year is a retired judge and not a complete beeboid, and often said sensible things.
He said that unless the ECHR changes we should pull out.
cos it judging in a political way by applying a definition of democratic to the one he would use.
ie they say democracy is doing what the politicians say
rather than what the people say.

However there was something interesting the other day, with insomnia I switched on the radio and it was his first lecture thst I had already heard.
There was a Climate question to which he gave a very smooth reply.
followed by a school girl asking about BAME.
It struck me on the second listening that it was rigged , his reply was smooth cos probably had warning of question in advance
..And of course typical BBC to run with a question about BAME rights.

I’d suggest if you want Feminism you DO support Sadiq Khan !

Who the hell in thier right minds wants Feminism, with its undeniable links with Islamism?

It seeks the over throw of what it calls the ‘patriarchy’ i.e. white men and seeks to replace it with a Sharia controlled Islamic state, in which these deluded nutters seem to think women will be liberated.

Cast your mind back to the great grope of Cologne or any other outrage against women in which the Feminists have refused to condemn the Muslims, or support the women victims, but taken the other path instead.

As Milo once obseved “would you rather your daughter had feminism or cancer” It really is that bad.

True. The fact is women in the Western world and some other parts ARE liberated. The female supremacists (feminists) are not happy with that. If they own up to that fact they have nothing further to complain about.

Theresa May, standing beside President Trump, has just told the world’s media that she always keeps her word. I do beg to differ:

Mr Trump also said that he couldn’t understand how a country (Mexico) could let millions of people pass through it with the sole objective of entering the USA illegally. He was told that since his threat of tariffs against Mexico, the country is now doing something to deal with the problem.
I couldn’t help but draw a parallel with how France does the same to the UK by letting hundreds of thousands (at least) of illegal immigrants cross it’s border with the objective of getting to the UK by illegal means.
If only the UK had a real leader and negotiator.

Doesn’t seem to be much of a turn out either for the anti Trump protest last night (estimate 300 nutters) or even for Corbyns speech this afternoon.

Corbyns speech was disturbing to say the least, remeniscent of one of the Fuhrers rants. He went on and on about how everything was the fault of the hated whites and the minorities were all somehow victims of white oppression.
How diversity was the most important thing in the world, and all the time there was that underlying number of Islamic activists waiting to have their say. Indeed the number of Muslims who have been involved with all this has caught my eye over recent days.

All in all the anti Trump protests have been a colossal failure and Corbyn has been made to look silly. Do not forget though, Hitler was made to look silly, and he was every bit as dangerous despite all that.

The BBC’s treasure trove of ideas, The Guardian carries an article today Trumpeting Jeremy Corby’s Appearance at the protest rally, almost along the lines of it’s what he has waited for all his career sort of thing, hating the USA and Trump as he does..

The journalist then goes on to explain how wonderful this event is for Corbyn saying in typical student union demo reporter style…

“The revoltingness of Donald Trump is one of the few things on which virtually all factions of the Labour party still agree – and resistance has been a bonding experience for Britons more generally. From the student who mowed a giant penis into a meadow under his flight path to the Duchess of Cornwall being caught winking behind his back, every indignity heaped on Trump is a joy. How could Corbyn not be on the march”

I’m one of those “Britons” mentioned and the pathetic soap-box protest babbling “resistance” from Corbyn was far from bonding for me so the reporter probably was referring to the “bonding” of all the other reporters in the Guardian offices rather than Britons generally, plus I am pretty sure that a student mowing a penis and a royal winking to someone isn’t likely to make President Trump run away any time soon….

I bet the reporter goes home thinking “Another wonderful day at the office, another hammer-blow for the revolution and a great day for free speech”

    Drivel……

ps. I listened to the Press Conference and was surprised how statesmanlike and humorous Trump was, and Mrs May also almost charming.

Gritted teeth in Journo-la-la-land I bet
