We have a new game to play – spot the BBC coke head .( with thanks to a post by pug on 9 June ) Following admissions by politicians that they regularly took drugs we can extend that to others from ‘the bubble ‘ . It would explain those who interupt , talk over and abuse those with whom they disagree .
There is obviously a need to tread carefully with regard to the laws of defamation but those Beeboids whose performance might seem a bit ‘ heightened ‘ deserve recognition .
So a diet of broadcast tripe, bias and trivia is considered by multi-hundred k harridans as ‘welfare’?

But no mention of the Elephant in the Room…….
What about the voters who overwhelmingly voted out? No mention.

Gauke is not a leadership candidate, but he is an excellent example of far left Red Tory.
https://order-order.com/2019/06/11/gauke-pleads-members-defeat-deselection-attempt/#disqus_thread
“Gauke pleads with members to defeat deselection attempt.”
And does it very badly.
“First, far from obstructing Brexit, I have voted three times for the Withdrawal Agreement.
Had everyone in Parliament voted the way I had, the UK would have left the EU in March.”
These anuses still think we are stupid. They think if they keep repeating the same old lies we will eventually believe them.
Conservative Party members, stop wasting your time deselecting the traitors one by one.
Look at the leadership candidates, can you trust any of them to deliver Brexit? No, of course you cannot trust them.
So move to the Patriotic Brexit Party and deselected the whole Conservative Party.
Come on in, the water is lovely.
One united election and we will walk out of the EU over the remains of the Corbyn and May parties, and you will love it.

Can the nation’s most trusted broadcaster really justify how it spends British licence payers money on it’s websites for foreign countries?
Here is one such story from 2017, written in Pidgin English for it’s West African audiences:
https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-41171196
“Woman wan troway poo-poo, come trap for window”
“Woman wey take her hand, pack her poo-poo comot di toilet of man wey she dey friend because ”e no gree flush” enter trouble, after she go try collect di poo-poo back.
“The woman wey dey learn gymnastics, just start to waka with Bristol student, Liam Smith, for di first time, when she take fear troway di poo-poo comot for window.”
For those of you who are not fluent in Pidgin English, The Daily Mail offers a translation:

BBC 4, Asian Network on radio, Radio 6 and BBC News in foreign languages; why are they there? Why should the licence payer pay for them? It took me two minutes to discover this and I’ve a feeling I’m only scratching the surface…

The perfect solution for the BBC over the license fee for
the over 75’s is to advertise. In this time of political correctness,
diversity and positive discrimination, in advertising.
The BBC could have 30 minutes of advertising an hour and 30 minutes

The BBC comprise rich men in their castle taxing the poor, vulnerable and dispossessed. Dungeons and shame await those who fail to pay.
Let them eat cake, said the BBC fat cats.

DS, they are taking away the free TV Licence, they are taking away and scrapping (note: not recycling) the blankets keeping over 75s warm as they huddle in front of their TVs and then they are forcing them to look at bad e-mails in an attempt to make them earn a crust to pay the TellyTax. It will drive them to an earlier grave, not living instead to 120 years of age while watching free BBC TV.
You are right, dungeons await the elderly – the BBC have become the modern Sheriff of Nottingham!

Sentry – the bbc bigwigs don’t “hate and despise fat-cat-capitalists”; they merely pretend to, else it would amount to self-hatred. (Even worse, unlike capitalists they don’t make money by creating value, the merely consume riches obtained through menaces.)
A further strategy to make them feel better and disassociate themselves from their own greed, is regular virtue-signalling eg Greg Dyke’s complaint a decade or two ago that the bbc was too ‘hideously white’ – that has all changed now, of course! (Presumably the reasoning was that being very diversity-orientated showed them to be ‘of the people’, and ‘for’ the disadvantaged.)
No, the bbc fat-cats remind me of Marie Antoinette. Was it not she who said: ‘let them eat cake?’ – a perfect reflection of their attitudes to the over-75s…

It wasn’t the Red Arrows, that’s for sure. The Beeboid(?) refered to Eagles, so it is just possible but it would be a couple of Carriers full, with their spare planes in the air as well.
However, the profile did not look right for F35 Eagles, much too long and thin and the formation was immaculate. perhaps there is a stretch limo version, 240-4? Something that even the best pilots the US & Canada might have, would have had just a couple of them struggling perhaps to fly quite so ‘tight’ with a ‘plane with some, er, known.. ahem … issues.
Tongue in cheek, I might suggest it was a Joint Operation (bit like 75 years ago) but not sure our Fleet Air Arm Eagles are working properly yet. Hope somebody spoke to the President about Lockheed selling us those duds while he was here. Have the Canadians got any to fly?
Answering that last question – possibly. They are on the sales list but not mentioned in Wiki. Maybe they broke down on the delivery flights? Bit of a long way from Texas to Canada, after all. Wasn’t like that when I was a lad.

The Americans have three Air Forces plus their militarized [ note the zee 🙂 ] Coast Guard. We (the UK) have only one and a bit with about four planes in each. The Harrier was deemed a bit slow to keep on our new carrier and go up against MiGs and things as quick as that and also too slow to dodge GtA/AtA missiles.
Mind you on that latter point, flying backwards might be an advantage if the little heat seeker is alongside and not up your chuff.

THIS COMMENT CONTAINS THE USE OF STRONG LANGUAGE
I made my first , only and probably last formal complaint about the BBC and it’s standards –
Below is s cut and paste of the reply I received today .note that there is no mention of ‘apology ‘ and my complaint is re interpreted by one Sarah Firby of BBC Complaints as a ‘sharing of views’….
Thank you for contacting us regarding the World This Weekend on 12 May.
I understand you feel one of the interviewees used language which was inappropriate for broadcast during the broadcast.
During a report on European election campaigns, we heard from canvassers for several of the political parties, including a Liberal Democrat. She explained that the current main election slogan for the party – ‘B*****s to Brexit’ – is something that she loves, though the reporter here did highlight how it may be considered coarse.
BBC Radio does not operate a watershed policy in the same way as television. Our research shows that the number of children or young people listening to Radio 4 is so minimal as to hardly register.
That said, I appreciate you feel this phrase should not have been said on the programme. We make viewer comments like yours available to the relevant teams and senior executives on our daily reports.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your views with us.
So we learn ‘
1 the bbc thinks kids and young types don’t listen to R4
2. There is no watershed on the radio
3. Saying “bollocks to Brexit “ on the world at one Sunday is ok.
4. The term ‘bollocks “ isn’t acceptable in the very email the bbc sent me saying “ bollocks “ is an acceptable word on national daytime radio without a warning …

https://order-order.com/2019/06/11/gauke-pleads-members-defeat-deselection-attempt/#more-349063
This time it’s David Gauke a comitted remainer in a leave constituency, wishing to represent himself and not his constituents.
“I recognise that not everyone agrees with my position on leaving the EU without a deal, but I hope it is also appreciated that I have to act on the basis of what I think is best for the country.”
And there you have it, damned by his own words. He isn’t interested in his constituents, it isn’t about what they want or the majority, not even what might be the best course, it’s all about him and what he considers best. For that reason alone he should be sent packing.

““I recognise that not everyone agrees with my position on leaving the EU without a deal, but I hope it is also appreciated that I have to act on the basis of what I think is best for the country.”” Hear hear! as they say.
Still, we of the 52% also voted on the basis of, ‘what we think is best for the country’. And, collectively we know more than you and your own experience (whatever that is: drugfuelled perhaps?). Your personal experience, Mr Gauke, pails into insignificance when compared with that of the 52%. So, get on with getting us out cleanly.

BBC coverage of the unfolding Oxfam scandal reveals the expected ‘shying away’ from anything as unsavoury as paedophilia. Those apparently suffering from the unwanted attentions of overweight sweaty men in shorts are referred to as ‘young prostitutes’, which suggests a level of compliance which might, for some, excuse the occasional lapse.
The reality, of course, is that Oxfam along with a vast number of similar organisations worldwide, attracts sexual predators who are able to take advantage of prevailing emergencies to enjoy their perversions on the cheap, and by the very nature of the stressful environment, largely unchallenged.
The BBC know this but prefer to keep it to themselves since certain moral weaknesses seem endemic within the BBC where paedophilia is concerned.

R5 Live today:
— A seven year old girl found her local supermarket didn’t stock women’s world cup stickers when they had stocked the men’s. She wrote a letter of complaint, mum’s naturally proud and Emma Barnett’s only happy to indulge in another stint of equality whinging.
— African-American Valentino Dixon spent 27 years in prison after a wrongful conviction of murder. It’s a terrible miscarriage of justice — but not to be confused with African-American Anthony Ray Hinton, who coincidentally was on R5 recently having spent 28 years in prison after a wrongful conviction of murder.
— Next up Nihal will be offering advice to festival goers on how to make sure you’re taking drugs in a safe way.
I wonder if the racial miscarriage of justice rolodex sits next to the oppressed women rolodex at R5 or do they have one giant one for everything?

Flipping eck we are over run with cash and now that we have cut back in our salaries (ok, I admit, except Garry L and I agree – his beard looks horrid on it) so what would you 75 yr olds do with it – come on, lets have it out if you think your hard enough.
That last line I hear is a favourite of our Garry’s
Allegedly.

I’m sorry if I am going over old ground, but I am just astonished at very the notion of a gender pay gap regarding men’s and women’s World Cups.
It is one thing to support equal pay for people carrying out the same work (but different organizations cannot be forced to pay the same as others) but it is patently obvious that in this case they are not working side by side and the notion that women playing in their version of the World Cup being paid the same as men playing in their version is truly nonsensical.
Undeterred, the BBC comes up with this load of piffle:

Thinking about the TV licence charge to be re-imposed on the over 75s and the kind of argument that would convince the Government and the BBC to reverse their policy.
Why should the hundreds of thousands Moslem D Day and Battle of Britain veterans who gave their lives to save Britain be forced to pay the TV tax?

Regarding the re-imposition of the license fee for over 75’s, I don’t think either the BBC or the Government gives a damn. I can’t remove from my thoughts a scenario of a frail and confused 85 year old, exempt from payment for the last ten years, getting a knock on the door from one of the Capita Bonus Kings. What a wretched prospect.

4:30pm Harriet Gilbert is the one I’ve heard of,
are the rest the usual libmob and virtue signalling ?
\\ Comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean and singer/composer Hannah Peel share books they love with Harriett Gilbert.
Hannah’s is Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino,
Kiri is blown away by Nervous Conditions by Zimbabwean author Tsitsi Dangarembga
and Harriett picks You Think It, I’ll Say It by Curtis Sittenfeld, author of American Wife //

Stew – I think Harriet usually runs a man-free zone. Apparently they don’t read books. Come to think of it, Antonia Quirke almost succeeds in a presenting a man-free film programme, and -on a Sunday night, the ‘Westminster Hour’ (Caroline Quinn) definitely has asperations in that direction. I should mention that men occasionally can be heard on R4, but you’ll probably have to do a little searching, if it’s culture or political views you’re after.
You could conceivably come across a man on ‘Wimmin’s Hour’, but I don’t recall one. (There is a reason.)
All in all -and on reflection, I think (perhaps a wee bit controversially) that wimmin’s licence fees should be increased, and men’s decreased, proportionally.
Twould only be fair? And together with tolerance and diversity, we DO love fairness…

BBC brushing me off at the first stage of a (pointless nevertheless) complaint.
Just wondering how much the BBC promoted or covered the protests in 2011?

I had a brush off email about my complaint this morning also. Must have been churning them out on last nights night shift. Totally disregarded my comments and just banged on with waffle. They didn’t want me to reply seemed like a copy and paste effort.

I wasn’t aware of this –
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48579890
That would rule Hunt out of the running as far as the BBC are concerned because they make the case for keeping the 24 week limit
/The Tory leadership contender has been criticised after saying his “personal view” was that the legal time limit for an abortion should be reduced from 24 weeks to 12./
/Liberal Democrat MP Christine Jardine said the foreign secretary’s personal views were “incredibly alarming”, while Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon described the leadership contest as a “horror show”, which included “attacks on abortion rights”/
/Tweet by Nick Boles -Tory leadership candidates plan to see off Corbyn by promising a tax cut for the better off (including MPs), a drastic restriction in women’s abortion rights and the forced closure of Parliament during a No Deal Brexit. Have they taken leave of their senses?/
/Mr Hunt had previously said he was in favour of reducing the legal time limit from 24 weeks to 12./
/The law allows for abortions to be legally performed under certain conditions – such as if the pregnancy involves a greater risk to the physical or mental health of the woman, or her existing children, than having a termination.
An abortion must be agreed by two doctors (or one in an emergency) and carried out by a doctor in a government-approved hospital or clinic.
In 1990, the legal time limit for abortions was lowered from 28 to 24 weeks, deemed to be the point at which a foetus was “viable”./
/But those arguing against a reduction cited studies, including one published in the British Medical Journal, showing that while survival rates had increased significantly for babies born at 24 and 25 weeks, they had not risen for babies born 23 weeks or less./

As far as I’m aware the BBC quoted abortion law is not strictly enforced regarding the ‘mental health excuse’ or even the ‘two doctors rule’.
What we have in reality is an NHS abortion service on demand –

Wonder how the BBC feel about under 16 year old schoolgirls gang raped around the country and their rights ?
MPs call for law change after Rotherham grooming gang rapist given chance to meet victim’s son
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/rotherham-grooming-gang-case-sammy-woodhouse-victim-son-sexual-abuse-a8656116.html
It came after Sammy Woodhouse revealed that the man who raped her as part of a grooming gang was told he could apply for parental rights over her son, while serving a 35-year prison sentence
Rotherham council invited him to apply for parental rights over my child, even though it was proven in court that he was a danger to myself and another children,” she said.
Ms Woodhouse, who waived her right to lifetime anonymity to expose the Rotherham scandal, became pregnant at the age of 15.
Arshid “Mad Ash” Hussain, who is 10 years older than Ms Woodhouse, was later jailed for 23 offences including rape and assault on victims as young as 11.
He is not named on the birth certificate of Ms Woodhouse’s son and has never had parental responsibility for him under its legal definition.
But Hussain was listed as a respondent in court proceedings instigated by Rotherham Council last year.

Come on BBC – even Arnie of swarfega fame knew what it really meant and he didn’t try to hide it behind PC for fear of upsetting those 3 to 4 time abortion mums who claim they woun’t be able to get into their wedding dress unless.. baby has to go..
Don’t worry girls, they are out there. This just an example:

Some mums had the abortion. I can’t seem to find that story?

Labour leader hopeful Tom Watson accuses the government of ‘breathtaking gall’ for criticising BBC plans to charge over-75s the full licence fee.
What he fails to add – dare I suggest deliberately? – is that the gov did a deal: No sanction for licence fee increase if BBC carry cost of pensioners fees instead.
So what’s the plan? BBC play the white man, if you’ll pardon the expression, and make a large and expansive gesture of generosity:
‘Over-75 Licence Fee Plan Cancelled!’
‘Tom Watson’s plea causes big BBC and Tory conscience U-turn!’
‘Government caves in, carries cost of Pensioner Fee Plan!’
And down the line a bit, without too much fuss, unnecessary or confusing announcements – Newswatch springs to mind – the licence fee goes up. For the good of democracy, of course.

I normally turn off the news propaganda channel if our Martine is on it . Definitely not the sharpest knife in the box. Someone in the production area must have been screaming into her ear as she lost the argument .
Strange interview – she was playing the role of ardent remainer instead of the “ neutral “ which the BBC takes so much pride in maintaining .
It’s a shame she couldn’t have held the ring with a traitor remainer present to explain – for the umpteenth time in the last 3 years about the sellout deal …
