Someone called Anita rani claims that the go to type on tv is white and male – does that make her racist and sexist ? She could have gone for the sexual preference and got a threesome of prejudice .

Apparently the person does a programme called’ country file ‘. Wiki says she got a degree in ‘broadcasting ‘ which presumably has ‘watching daytime tv’ on the curriculum….

Halifax – probably true. Under attack daily. BBC news coverage: zero. ‘South Africa Today News’ 1171 reports on attacks in Citrusdal, Prieska and Standerton, yesterday.
1170 is interesting: reports on racist Twitter messages from SA ‘ambassador’ to Denmark, Zindzi Mandela. Calling SA whites ‘land thieves’ and ‘cowards’ and talking about ‘our’ (i.e. black) land.
I would say the cowards are gangs of armed men who attack farms, torturing and murdering. Favourite target: elderly people. Black farmworkers not immune either. 1170 reports on the murder of farmworker, Luan Preston, in Port Shepstone on 15 June. Strangled to death.
As for Mandela: oblivious of her constitutional responsibility to represent ALL the people of SA, not scapegoating and attacking those she doesn’t like.
The bigger picture is the attempt to take over -by terror- ‘white’-owned farms, a further stage in the ANC’s ‘National Democratic Revolution’. Not that they would admit it…
The famous name on Twitter: HATE SPEECH the bbc won’t report on. Would contradict the narrative, big time.

Displacement activity by a police force that is losing control of the streets and public confidence. In Bournemouth at the weekend thdee were two serious incidents. A man attacked and stabbed in the Royal Bath Hotel and two men stabbed in the centre. It is not just London.
There is no real police presence now and what it will lead to is law abiding citizens staying in their homes at night and the slow death of town and city centres and the entertainments there. It is inevitable now.
The job of the police is to keep the streets safe. To be a visible presence of the law. I spent time in the US and there the police are always visible or near at hand – at least they were in the cities i was in. There is no substitute for a uniform and a man sworn to uphold the law.
Is it safe now to change trains in London after the rush hour? Is the tube safe or the buses? Here in the shires we know the answer and that is a resounding no.
The mayor and his lot need to attend to the basics. As do all police officers.

“Right-wing activity”? Does he mean voting, that sort of “activity”?

I’m sure that dealing with it really is a “challenge” because it has a serious supply-and-demand problem. The supply of far-right extremism is not keeping up with demand – from the BBC, high ranking but low IQ plods, large sections of the HoP, the universities and other organisations with huge superfluous elements.

Tell you what, you bloody fool, how about concentrating on street crime (a euphemism if ever there was one because I’ve never come across a “criminal street”) and antisemitism just for starters? No supply shortages there.

    https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/online-harms-white-paper

Masquerading as public safety champions it is in fact clear to see that this could be used to silence any opposition to the status quo or anyone the government decides it doesn’t like, a very dangerous direction in my opinion.

I do notice the phrase “DCMS and the Home Office will also run a series of engagement workshops to convene civil society actors and user groups”

… when I see the word Actors I realise that it’s a nice comfy way to say activists so they will be likely be discussing this with all manner of banner waving outfits from Greenpeace to Extinction Rebellion.

This seems to be charter to banish all non-compliant speech.

It has all the hallmarks of our friend Mr S*r*s I would deduce.

The power that are trying to gain by this move is disproportionate and extremely serious and in my opinion will lead to the silencing of most dissenting voices including on sites such as this.

If you read the whole document you will see that even a post such as this one could lead to very serious penalties.

digg, thanks for posting and you’re right we need to be aware of what’s going on.

Just taken a quick look, one phrase sticks out in particular for me: “government action to tackle online content or activity that harms individual users, particularly children, or threatens our way of life in the UK, either by undermining national security, or by reducing trust and undermining our shared rights.”

I got all nostalgic hearing “they will not change our way of life” — it was a popular catchphrase back in the mid noughties but somewhat fell out of fashion, only to be substituted by “diversity is our strength” or “don’t look back in anger” or any number of similarly useless hashtag platitudes.

Since then I’d say quite a lot of things about our way of life have indeed changed e.g. real concerns that a milkshake thrown in protest might contain acid… violent threats to primary school teachers for teaching the curriculum… diversity barriers across European cities… our national broadcaster stopping describing terror attacks as terror attacks… mass prayers allowed in Royal Parks which do not permit collective acts of worship… and on and on.

And for the nth month running, according to MI5 the current threat from international terrorism in the UK is SEVERE.

So which way of life needs protecting? It is clearer each day that we are not singing from the same hymn sheet as the powers that be.

The worst kind of censorship is self-censorship
..eg those people who stopped themselves speaking up about gromingRaping gangs

There was not a big teacher shouting “THIS IS A HATE CRIME”
instead we learnt to deal with it

.. And thus the people being nasty were demeaning themselves .
So I’d say to the consultation
        DON’T ban the speaker
Rather TEACH the listener to have a skin to, switch it off instead of blubbering etc.

This looks like the usual opening tactics from the anti-mob. Realising that they have possibly concentrated so much on meat that they forgot some people eat fish instead of Tofu, they begin at the bottom with “maybe you won’t be able to get cod”, then “you might think you are getting cod but you are possibly eating a Vietnamese crap substitute”…. I predict the that this will slowly evolve through “does eating fish cause cancer?” then “can fish feel pain?” to the eventual “Fish is murder!” OH! hang on, that would break the snappy banner aliteration so maybe it will become “Fish is Flatulence”

He did not .It was included in a tweet by Katie Hopkins referring to knife crime in London, which was the aspect of the tweet to which Trump was responding.

The reporting of this appears to have misled Jeremy Hunt
Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said he would not have used the same language as Mr Trump although he “agreed 100%” with him about the mayor’s failings on serious crime.

It’s not just him – it’s the likes of the Guardian and other snowflakes who don’t want force used on feral kids who have become lawless as a result .

When the next riots come the msm will be running around playing the blame game yet it is the very Left which has bred violent amoral yoof who aren’t much more than animals

I’m not sure that the general population would accept the pain of putting this situation right so matters will continue for the foreseeable future with ineffective coppers more concerned about upsetting ‘ the community ‘ than enforcing the law .

As an east londoner – it’s 24 hour two tones , police helicopter and plenty of police tape on a fairly regular basis . After school can feel like a riot is about to happen in the local bus station .

If I was being really brutal – a lot of the casualties at the moment are ‘players’ and not decent people -but that won’t last for long .

We have reached a stage in this country where large numbers of white people believe that ‘white is bad and coloured is good’. It’s the same in many other western countries. This ‘white is bad’ segment of the population when coupled with the rapidly growing but diverse ethnic segment , are able to call the shots on the development of our society. Will the white self haters wake up to the future that they are creating for their children? I doubt it. I think the future for most white people in the UK in the latter half of this century is a bleak one.
But for long will the diverse ethnic groups hold together? Muslims have repeatedly shown round the world that they will not tolerate other religions and sooner or later they will start vying for power with other ethnicities. None of the other groups will be as acquiescent as the whites . They won’t let themselves be pushed around, made into second class citizens , whilst at the same time paying the financial bill.
No matter how self abasing the white population is multiculturalism will not end well. It was a mistake and will remain a mistake for the rest of time.

    • fakenewswatcher says:

Doublethinker- Not necessarily ‘white is bad’ at the beginning, but rather ‘white only society is bad’. Still trying to figure out whether there could have been any other reason for this than ‘guilt’ and some altruism. It is a largely baffling phenomenon, not having happened in e.g. China, Japan or most Asian and African countries. The Chinese are not eager to have a ‘multicultural’ society; nor the Japanese.
Next stage: Importation; there is little awareness of danger, as the numbers are small.
Next stage: Invasion & and large-scale invader reproduction. Numbers swell. Some indigenous people think this is great or pretend to. Others don’t.
It is now that race cards are played, the white guilt becomes more acute, the resistance is born, and as NUMBERS change – ‘white really is bad’- for the first time.
All these stages are accompanied by virtue-signalling, which grows ever more strident, supported by subversive institutions like the media, politicised police, poor quality border enforcers and the universities.
But the resistance too grows; not everyone enjoys their country changing into some other place, in front of their very eyes. Not everyone enjoys their country being absorbed by an unaccountable empire.

Not BBC but I’m sure the gays within our national fraud machine will simply love to be in Australia just now. I couldn’t quite believe this photo but I’ve checked its all very legal. I pity the poor children of Australia – and the UK as its only a matter of time before these kind of deviant demands are granted here:

The photo shows deviants holding young girls on their laps – with permission from the Australian government with special access to these children by prowling the public libraries in Australia:

      eXAiSPG.jpg

I think we are losing the battle to protect the children’s minds from every kind of sexual approach from certain adults.

I am absolutely shocked that these kind of things are being allowed?.

It looks like the types of anti democratic mouths like Soubry and grieve have a new brand competitor , Rory . He had a lovely chat with his number 1 fan Tourette’s Robinson . Who didn’t interupt him .

Rory is like a more advanced Greta . A new flavour the MSM decides to like . Empty . And as a remainer the BBC love him .

Pity he won’t be in the debate tonight because the mAitless will probably swap spit with him

      Oh for those halcyon days.
Galton, Simpson, Milligan, and Sykes used to share offices. They didn’t necessarily write together, but I imagine the idea-sharing over a beer or tea was much to the purpose.
Then there were the teams which overlapped but became the Pythons, the Goodies, with Marty Feldman and Barry Cryer.
By modern standards, these giants were impoverished. They’d never make it nowadays.

I’d wondered why the bbbc had put up a news article about the writing staff for a rival company’s programme. Then within seconds it became apparent.

On the issue itself however, there is sense in having several writers involved because minds work differently. Deliberately shoehorning women into an ITV comedy writing team won’t make much difference though. I’m fairly certain that the end result will be about as funny as a wet fish.

Innocently switched on BBC Breakfast TV at 0840 for the weather forecast.
Silly me. They were in full-on virtue signalling
First, masquerading as a Le Mans car race story – an organisation called Team Brit which is an initiative for badly disabled people to track race.
Straight afterwards, a story about a 1960s initiative in the USA to put a group of women into space, masquerading as a book promotion.
The sting in the tail here was that the American lady being interviewed about it went off on one and was hard to manage.
    Ha ha ha.

PS i have of course no issue with the disabled group mentioned, a bunch of admirable and tough people, only the disingenuity of the world’s most trusted broadcaster. Any chance of a feature on able bodied white males? Or underperforming working class white school children? No, thought not.

Sluff, at least BBC TV mentioned Le Mans. It has been apparently completely bypassed by Radio 4 News.

Now there’s a burning question for Gary ‘Sport’ or his brother Rob to tackle: will Alonso now go all out to try to win the Indy 500 next year and complete motorsports’ Triple Crown before net zeroing everywhere around the world kicks in?

You are way too positive and optimistic.
Like you, I naively thought the mention of Le Mans would refer to the recent race and Alonso’s (rather lucky) win.
Oh no. The BBC propagandists only mentioned Le Mans to get our attention. There was no other mention of the race. The story was actually that the Team Brit disabled drivers initiative hoped to become the first disabled team to enter Le Mans ( in what appeared to be a souped up suitably adapted Ford Fiesta).
To borrow from another sport, the whole thing was a spectacular own goal. If all they had done was to show the can-do disabled folk having a go at racing there would not have been an issue. As it was, the bBBC opened themselves up the ridicule they so rightly deserve,

I am with you on this.. he may be the love of the MSM and the BBC but he is just odd..and I really don’t care if he walked across Iran or Iraq or Afghanistan…Why is my question?

Give Rory his due he knows how to work the press…but they are dumb…Why hasn’t the BBC raised his promise to resign if he didn’t solve the prisons problem? Maybe it is because latest figures show he would have been resigning – but they moved him before the year was up.. His comment in April that he was doing /done a good job was soundly condemned by many…

Stewart is trying the Jezza tactic.
Be different when everyone else looks, sounds and essentially is the same.
Then you get noticed and with luck a good proportion of the electorate in question will appreciate you for that, while the others cancel each other out and split their vote.
The difference here is that Jezza had more conviction, long previous form, and an existing if small fan base on which to build.

Here in Appleby Cumbria, Rory (if indeed that is his real name) is our local MP. To put in mildly, and at odds with BBC coverage, he is utterly despised around here. He even cancelled his last “Surgery” most likely he didn’t want to face the locals particulary with regards to the “cultural diversity and vibrancy” that the Appleby Horse Fair brings for a week in June. (i.e. mayhem)

BBC News TV 24 Hours. 08.50

    “Business News”

I listened for almost twenty eight seconds.

Hosted by two women who looked like middle-aged BBC weather girls. I strongly suspect that they had not an ounce of business experience between them.

American woman guest with the obligatory croaky-voice being interviewed. Shares were rising in a firm that produced artificial meat. Big advantage apparently as less green house gas emissions, healthier and ticks all the boxes for investment…. Suddenly, my off switch was activated.

Even Business News is a vehicle for the BBC’s Left wing narrative.

Mary Creagh MP (Lab) wants to make clothes more expensive for poor people. Fine, if we could ALL be like the 1980s/1990s Socialist popstar featured in a recent ES Magazine (freebie from Evening Standard publisher), pictured in £8000 clothes & ‘designer clothes’. If you bother to check, Mary, you will find that behind all those wild claims of ‘Tory austerity’ that you & your Party colleagues make, there is the truth that while we haven’t had or have true austerity in the UK, there’s not a lot of spare cash among the four to six lower income deciles in our nation.

And taxes, even 1p ones, can have unintended consequences, especially when set before Chancellors and Bank of England Governors who love inflation. Do you really want to deprive women, predominantly, in developing countries from having an income? Do you want to prevent them, perhaps, buying education for themselves or their children that will improve their futures?

What’s that you ask, TOADY Presenter? What’s that you say, Mary?

    Deafening silence.

Agree with you on Remainer delusions: again looking at the market it appears it has taken a view that the risk of UK not leaving is a reason to sell. OK, to be fair Hong Kong & Gulf tensions will exacerbate that but UK is important economy to the world, disproportionate to its size. Wonder if the caretaker PM remembered or even thought about that fact before foolishly committing us to UK CO2 Net Zero in 2050?
