More project super panic pushing by the Climate Brigade…

An expert quoted on R4 re the flooding in Yorkshire. “climate change means that we will see more of this sort of thing and that we will have to consider moving people out of some areas altogether”.

    Now…

I have seen many reports of floods over the years and for that matter quite a lot in Yorkshire and Cumbria which because of it’s position tends to attract heavy rain from time-to time.

I recall the lower floor of my parents house in Staffordshire under 2 feet of water following one such freak storm over 50 years ago.

I also remember the sea flooding a huge area of Lincolnshire in the 1950’s during heavy weather.

I also remember a huge wall of water sweeping down a valley through a Cornish village in the 1960’s after a heavy storm and causing huge damage.

Yes, it’s nothing new or changing at all, it’s weather, out of our control and we therefore take what comes and deal with it.

This sort of approach would be laughable applied to other events: e.g.; someone trips over a broken paving slab. Conclusion “pavements are inherently dangerous we need to work towards eliminating pavements as quickly as possible to save ourselves from this happening again, in the meantime everyone should avoid walking where possible or walk on the road which is much more level”.

who ? she ghostwrites Nadiya Hussain’s novels
.. See the BBC created the Nadiya brand, this was extended to include Nadiya the fiction writer, telling us stories set in Muslimland.
Ayisha Mailk told the listeners how she was selected cos she is a similar Muslim
.. The publisher’s editor and Nadiya would sit with her and explain their story and character ideas , then she would go away and write the books.
“It’s like been Obama’s speech write, you are the voice of the famous person”
.. Ayisha Mailk said this is the first and only time she will work as a ghostwriter.
    …See medialand is so fake.

Prepare to never hear the last of it. Apparently she won the race. Alastair Stewart has just been gushing about it on Talk Radio so the BBC won’t be far behind.
The first ever woman in a hijab to win on a horse.
The way he is championing her, you would think she had run the race herself, without the horse!
Surely it was the horse that won the race not the Muslim.
Oh and Alaistair “respects her passionately” for the fact that she won’t be celebrating with champagne.

    Dear Mr …….

Thanks for contacting the BBC. This is to confirm we’ve received the attached complaint sent in this name. We’ve included the text of the complaint and a case reference for your records (see below).

Please don’t reply to this email because it’s an automated acknowledgement sent from an account which can’t receive replies. If you do need to get in touch, please use our webform instead at http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints, quoting your reference number.

We’ll normally include the text below in our overnight report to producers and management of all the complaints and other reaction we receive today (with your personal details removed). This means it will reach the right people by tomorrow morning.

We’ll do our best to reply as soon as we can, but the time needed depends on the nature of your complaint. If we can’t reply as soon as we’d like (usually within 10 working days) we’ll let you know. YOUR COMPLAINT:

Complaint Summary: Offence to Jacob Rees-Mogg

Full Complaint:

Another snipe from Charlie Stayte this morning on breakfast.. Shows photos of three members of the new cabinet – Matt Hancock, Gavin Williamson, Jacob Rees-Mogg together. Stayte Says, “ Matt Hancock, Gavin Williamson, and on the far right, Jacob Rees-Mogg.. This was a ‘double entendre,’ deliberately made by Charlie State, to imply that Rees-Mogg is a ‘far right’ politician.
Noun : ’far right ‘. 1. The extreme right wing of a political party or group.
    2. The term is often used to describe Nazism,[4] neo-Nazism, fascism, neo-fascism and other ideologies or organizations that feature ultranationalist, chauvinist, xenophobic, racist, anti-communist, or reactionary views.
We are all aware that Top Gear was investigated over Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘slope’ comment, After a thorough investigation, Ofcom has found the BBC breached broadcasting rules by including an offensive racial term.
I find the term ‘ far right’ to be offensive, and was deliberately used to show the BBC’s biased agenda..

That was the complaint I sent.
    Today I got the reply.

    Dear Mr L…..

    Reference CAS-5557052-XPQ2Z2

Thank you for contacting us regarding BBC One’s ‘Breakfast’ which was broadcast on 25 July.

I understand you were unhappy that Charlie Stayt referred to Jacob Rees-Mogg as being “on the far right there” during a sequence in which images of the new members of the cabinet were displayed onscreen.

Whilst I appreciate your concerns, I can assure you that Charlie was merely referring to where the image of Mr Rees-Mogg was positioned onscreen.

Let me assure you that impartiality is central to all of our news and current affairs output and we ensure all our presenters, correspondents and production teams are aware of this to help us deliver fair and balanced coverage for all the stories we report.

Charlie Stayt is an experienced and respected journalist who is fully aware of our commitment to impartiality and he would never undermine a story by taking sides on any issue.

Senior editorial staff within BBC News and the BBC Board keep a close watch to ensure that standards of impartiality are maintained.

Finally, I would like to assure you that we value your feedback. All complaints are sent to senior management and the makers of ‘Breakfast’ every morning and we included your points in our overnight reports. These reports are among the most widely read sources of feedback in the BBC and ensures that your complaint has been seen by the right people quickly. This helps inform their decisions about current and future output.

Thank you once again for getting in touch.

    Kind regards

What a complete pack of lies ….. There were only three people in the image. Left , middle and right. He didn’t need to say. “Far right.” I can’t believe they have the audacity to even attempt to sweep this explanation under the carpet..

Anyway. That is all of the information about my complaint.
I am not going to let this rest here and will take this all the way.

It may be helpful if some more of us were to send in similar complaints about this incident

    Thanks.

      D,

“Go on, BBC. Say it. You hate Trump. Always have done and always will. It’s in your DNA.”

Trouble is D, the moderns within every BBC Dept really do believe that most of its viewing/listening audience hate Trump also. The fact that a certain number of its viewers complains is of no interest to them as most of its audience are held captive by the Strictly bug. As Nicky Campbell showed this morning on BBC Radio 5 Live.

The man was behaving like a child behaves when their hippy teacher tells them that the afternoon lessons are being put-off so they can go home early.

He was, giggling so much that I thought he would end his display with a WHOOCHER.

However, his co-presenter was doubtful for its future as she said: but where are the big stars? Don’t think Campbell liked that. She felt that the guests are not stars.

Oh, and the BBC producer of the show promised Campbell she (it was a she) intends to have a female dancer (presumably dancing with another female) on the show very soon. Then she promised she was looking into a Disabled Guest. Then hopefully Mr HUNT MP. She was quite giggly for him to appear on the show, and she kept on naming all kinds of people who are never invited to dance with the stars. So expect the first Transgender star very soon indeed. I hope you can see how the BBC is so in a bubble that they forget us in the real world who pay their wages.

      Rant over.

About six weeks ago, one of the Directors of the company that I work for, who is a staunch remainer, was bemoaning the fact that a referendum is a ‘one off’ but ‘normal’ parliamentary elections occur every five years or so, so why was that the case? His logic was that if there was a second referendum now, it would return a strong remain vote. so why did he have to wait so long? I felt like saying to him that the people who originally voted in 1975 had to wait over forty years for a revote! Obviously didn’t say that as remainers are vindictive and people who have spoken openly about supporting leave haven’t lasted long in the company!

I see the BBC were quick to report that Germany wouldn’t paticipate in any naval mission in the gulf if it was led by the Americans (Trump). I think the BBC forgot to ask if Germany has any seaworthy vessels able to participate? Why didn’t ‘Reality Check’ investigate this? (A quick google confirms that none of their submarines were seaworthy in 2018). Maybe because the BBC hates Trump so much? Oh well, ‘hands up’ for the Belgiums!

In the West, there’s no need to ban TV shows or movies. Just make them unwatchable through historical revisionism and extreme woke-ism, changing the ethnicities, genders and sexual orientalisms and, er, facts. The audience will vote with their feet and pockets.

There’s another connection to the BBC here. Their website today reports that the first official ‘Peaky Blinders’ festival, based on the TV series, is to be held in Birmingham next month. Now, Peaky Blinders proved very popular and gave viewing pleasure to a lot of people, particularly the first couple of series. But without any sense of irony, the creator and writer Stephen Knight tells BBC ‘News’: “…it’s all about historical accuracy. The key is in the fact that we’re trying to be as true to that world as possible, you know..”.

Well, sort of. The series is set in the aftermath of WWI and during the 1920s. In reality, the Blinders ‘peaked’ in the 1890s and first few years of the 20th Century and were history before the end of the Edwardian era. They were predominately a street gang. They did not become sophisticated business men, or engage in machine gun battles with the New York-based Mafia in Birmingham tenements. The Birmingham portrayed in the series reflects the increasing BBC obsession with race: a unlikely black preacher is in season 1, there are mixed race lads in season 2, with the numbers of ethnics increasing with each season as the BBC gain confidence/arrogance in historical revisionism. Expect the next season later this year to continue this approach, with faux feminism and gender manipulation thrown into the mix for the hell of it.

A good yarn and entertainment? Yes, maybe. But historical accuracy? As their former employee George Orwell wrote: “Those who control the present, control the past and those who control the past control the future.”

The BBC does seem to have a mental illness about needing to box tick in everything ….. using nazi style propaganda techniques to re form the public ‘mind ‘ – air brushing reality to confirm to its ridiculous multicultural multi sexual view of the world .

So, plenty of opportunity there. I’ll be really impressed with the BBC if he’s played by ‘Sir’ Lenny Henry: local lad from Dudley, perfect match I would have thought. She then keeps interrupting him saying he hasn’t done anything to combat climate change.

Then onto the next biased article about NHS drug import delays due to brexit. Whoever the woman ‘expert’ was, was allowed to speak anti brexit as much as she liked without any interruption. She was saying “.. delays at Dover due to brexit, then traffic in the UK, more delays caused by extreme UK weather…”. Of course the traffic in the UK and the weather is never a problem whilst we are inside the EU.

The biased BBC so called ‘ fact checker’ Chris Morris –
Highly selective choice of what ‘facts’ to check . The BBC has a thing for ‘no deal ‘ with Brexit . So when Dominic raab said that ‘ no deal ‘ was discussed in the referendum debate they went after him .

Yet even with intense research they couldn’t call him out as a ‘ liar’ in the way they wanted to .

The BBC only seem to check the facts that suits them .

      Secondly
A bi election – not quite the victory for remainers. The BBC claimed – the Tory and Brexit Party vote split the brexiter vote leading to a Remain win . The greens didn’t stand and labour came 4th – despite the reason for the election – being a corrupt Tory convicted of fraud .

A 1400 majority for Remain liberals ? In the circumstances – with a 60% turn out – not the positive Remain vote the BBC portrayed it .

BBC iPlayer gets Ofcom green light to make shows available for a year

Goods news as you already paid for it. but if this means the beeb can’t sell it after 31days, they are loosing money – over 75’s are being taxed, who next?

    • Ian Rushlow says:

The BBC don’t want to sell it after 31 days. This is about supporting the new BritBox subscription series. At present, they sell material to Netflix and Amazon, so if you want to watch the small selection of decent dramas/documentaries they occasionally produce, you can sometimes do so on Netflix or Amazon within a few months of their airing. As these are streaming services it is not necessary to pay the TV Poll Tax to watch (you do, of course, have to subscribe to such services but this is your choice and gives access to a wider range of programming). By providing material for up to a year and denying it to other services, they hope to make BritBox more attractive and give it an advantage.

BritBox… why don’t they just call it iPayer to complement the iPlayer service? You’re welcome, BBC Marketing department.

I totally agree. The shit-stirring piece on what Raab may or may not have said 3 years ago was a real lowlight. Typical BBC selectivity though.

What came before it was an article on the disabled having sex. Now although I am fairly sympathetic about this topic, I noted that someone paid for a sex worker out of his disability benefits.
OK but it does rather kill the Far Left notion that state benefit levels from the evil Tories are too mean.

But needless to say, our impartial BBC friends chose not to explore that one.

Another, different example of the BBC news room’s ‘selectivity’.

I’m not sure the people of Brecon really knew what they were voting for. Surely there needs to be a second vote? Maybe go for a best of three if they still don’t get it right? Plus it’s probably the case that the Russians interfered in the voting – it’s only about 120 miles from Salisbury where they poisoned thousands of people last year.

I think Boris’s ego will prevent him from working with Nigel Farage, unfortunately. This could lead to a split in the Brexit vote. Ironically, the Brexit Party splitting the vote could result in a remain victory in the event of a general election.

TODAY Watch #1 – Why the long voices?

I had forgotten about the Radnorshire by-Election. Switched on R4 at 6.40am approx. An air of gloom apparent, very flat voices. Then came the result news in 7am news. Why the gloom, BBC? The Anti-Brexit Party won, albeit with help from the Greens and Plaid Cymru. I visit the BBC web-site and get a breakdown of the results.

    Aaah, I see ……. . . . .

Labour vote – the other probably, maybe, possibly, anti-Brexit Party – collapsed and their candidate nearly lost their deposit. The Conservative vote fell. Do I hear BBC cheers? No. The Brexit Party more than made up for it. Then you could also add the UKIP vote to theirs.

    Now I understand.

On a high turnout, Labour devasted and add the Conservative, TBP & UKIP Votes together and the disgraced Conservative candidate would have romped home, beating the Lib anti-Dems. Maybe things would have been better for the Labour Party and the BBC had we left the EU in July 2018 or March 2019.

You didn’t think of that, back then, did you BBC?

You may have to put up with Bojo for another three years, BBC. Would you like to re-wind the digital recorders and change your minds about what you propagandise and why?

It’s funny that the BBC doesn’t ‘like ‘ businesses – except when it’s the CBI or sucking up to German car makers like BMW . Then businesses and cars are great ….. embarrassing anti brexit bias – I’m almost at the stage of laughing at it ….

The BBC didn’t make much of the failure of the Boris Government to nominate someone to the EU for the IMF or similar jolly – George Osborne was meant to be the man but no one has been nominated – Because We Are Leaving . ….. and all part of the ‘goodbye’ process the Remainers continue to deny – despite democracy ….

On the one hand the have the remainer party winning – Yay !

But on the other hand it is marred by the involvement of the ‘controversial’ Lord Rennard’ who has been accused by various women of sexual harrasment – Boo!

Jo Swinson the new leader said – I do not want Lord Rennard to continue as a member of the party, yet has done nothing as yet to action any change, and he is now credited with the by election win.

So what would any biased news medium do to avoid such unpleasant exposure taking the shine off the victory? Exactly what they have been doing – promoting what they see as good whilst never reminding people of the bad, which is off because as a wimmins rights champion you would expect the corporation to be all over this like a rash.

The big questions, the really big questions, not asked by The Humph: “Where would the UK economy be, where could it have been, had we got out of the EU in July 2018 or March 2019 or somewhere in between those dates?” and “Have we missed an opportunity?”

Ok. So the EU is the best thing since sliced bread according to our treasured National Broadcaster. So, it follows that as we are constantly being told OUR own economy will suffer from leaving, that the EU economy is in tip top, fine fettle and booming, it must be, the BBC haven’y told us any different. And the EU is the holy grail of growth and prosperity.

Imagine my shock when you have a look at the REAL headlines , not the BBC one sided guff.

    Here’s a few , just this week.

Bloomberg – French Economy Unexpectedly Cools in Setback for Euro Area

New York Times – European Economy Slows, Raising Expectations of E.C.B. Action
The eurozone economies grew 0.2 percent last quarter, and inflation remains far below the European Central Bank’s target.

Express – Germany blow: Merkel hit by economy headache as unemployment rates soar

Express – German economy on the brink as Merkel’s manufacturing sector slumps – ‘Signs of weakness’

ING – Eurozone growth slows to 0.2% as core inflation dips

So the EU isn’t land of milk and honey all the BBC and Remainers will have us believe !!! Yet its us Brexiteers who are stupid, thick, racist and didn’t know what we were voting for when wanting to leave this rat infested mafia on the brink of ruin. !!! They need us more than we need them …… shame Theresa couldn’t see that and let them walk all over this great country. Pathetic

But then again, i love my country so i am just a FAR RIGHT thug according the the BBC.

      @BrexitKite
BrexitKiteMark was created so activists and voters can unite behind the most credible brexiteer in each constituency. Many will be Brexit Party candidates.

According to brexitcentral’s email yesterday (by Jonathan Isaby) this is who we have running the show (allegedly) at the moment:

Including Theresa May, a total of 31 MPs left the Government (voluntarily or not, as the case may be). No longer sitting around the Cabinet table are: Karen Bradley, James Brokenshire, Greg Clark, Liam Fox, David Gauke, Chris Grayling, Philip Hammond, Damian Hinds, Jeremy Hunt, David Lidington, Theresa May, Penny Mordaunt, David Mundell, Caroline Nokes, Claire Perry, Rory Stewart, Mel Stride and Jeremy Wright.

And the MPs departing the junior ranks of the Government were: Harriett Baldwin, Jackie Doyle-Price, Sir Alan Duncan, Tobias Ellwood, Mark Field, Robert Goodwill, Stephen Hammond, George Hollingbery, Margot James, Andrew Jones, Anne Milton, John Penrose and Craig Whittaker.

Those 31 comprise 28 MPs who voted Remain in 2016 and just three who campaigned for Leave (Fox, Grayling and Mordaunt).

Conversely, of the 31 MPs who have just joined the Government, the following 19 were Brexiteers in 2016: Nigel Adams, Kemi Badenoch, Conor Burns, Simon Clarke, Leo Docherty, Nadine Dorries, James Duddridge, George Eustice, Zac Goldsmith, Chris Heaton-Harris, Boris Johnson, Andrea Leadsom, Esther McVey, Priti Patel, Tom Pursglove, Dominic Raab, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Anne-Marie Trevelyan and Theresa Villiers.

And the following twelve voted Remain: Colin Clark, George Freeman, Luke Hall, Simon Hart, Nigel Huddleston, Jo Johnson, Marcus Jones, Johnny Mercer, Nicky Morgan, James Morris, Grant Shapps and Gavin Williamson.

I [i.e. Isaby] therefore calculate that the MPs in the administration comprise:

      40 Leavers in 2016
      53 Remainers
      1 Undeclared (Jesse Norman)

From the above list it is evident that the ‘Brexiteer Government’ is really predominantly ‘Remain’.
