Weekend Open Thread 31 August 2019

The Biased Bubble returns from its unearned holidays to pour out rabid anti brexit anti democratic propaganda on an electorate bored to tears with their delaying tactics and lies – so we will be busy reporting it .

And as time passes How will the BBC deal with the 80th anniversary of the start of World War 2 be dealt with ? Plenty of opportunity for even more pro EU bias .

Project Fear summary
Apart from the Queen authorising the closure of the Remainer Parliament a bit early ~ Project Fear has chugged on mainly with repeats of medicine shortages .
Thursday was ‘flu vaccine shortage ‘ and the Ghost of Gina Miller using Soros cash for another go at using the courts to undermine the vote of 17.4 million people who she thinks are thick .
Wednesday was ‘getting the queen involved in brexit ‘it’s a coup – it’s the end of democracy hysterics .
Other than that just the usual biased BBC singing the Remainers song as loud as it can .

The workings of the judiciary are beyond most people’s comprehension, but what we do know is that if you want to take anyone to court for a misdemeanour, or a wrong needs to be righted, then we can at best expect to wait many months if not years for a case to be heard. Because, we are informed, there are many many cases, too few judges, and a ‘slot’ has to be available.

So can someone please explain, how the likes of Gina Miller and her ilk, can manage to organise a hearing in the High Court within a matter of hours/days ? The same applies to High Court injunctions brought by high flyers for anonymity – how does this work ?

I’m not a lawyer – but the admin support for the high Court would be contacted and alerted to the nature of the petition – in this case a time sensitive constitutional issue .

They’d then go find an appropriate Judge and venue and set up the hearing – including a guess at how long it might take to serve and pre read papers as well as hear subsequent oral evidence and submissions ….

It looks like the Remainers don’t want an election — because they’re afraid the public might vote the wrong way once again, as they did at the referendum. That’s why they’re currently preferring to engineer a stitch-up with the current membership of the House of Commons. The problem for them is that it’s going to be difficult to pass a vote of no confidence in the government without triggering an election.

Yes, it’s the old “question as a headline” ploy. Which means there isn’t actually any news, but speculation. Always from one side. With a heavy side dish of snark.

Was this presidential sarcasm or misinformation?
Was he implying that somebody else might indeed have been involved?
Or was it just the president’s regular habit of responding by saying the first thing that came into his head?

A thought. Who would unclassify information? The President, surely? So by definition it isn’t classified anyway.

Even now they still don’t understand Trump. He doesn’t say the first thing that comes into his head. Whatever he says is carefully calculated to wind up his opponent and put them off balance.

    • Richard Pinder says:

A President can declassify military imagery of possible embarrassment to an enemy and therefore make it available to people outside of a restricted group. In this case “embarrassment to an enemy” could mean the anti-Semitic BBC as well as Iran. Without Trump as President, both the anti-Semitic BBC and Iran would have preferred to censor this embarrassing failure because of their mutual hatred of Israel.

Understanding what is meant by “THEIR people and democracy” and “OUR people and populism”:

THEIR “Peoples March” for a “Peoples Parliament” to implement a “Peoples Vote” is for a Peoples Democratic Dictatorship for THEIR people.

All the people vote “For or Against” the EU Dictatorship. If OUR people who voted against the EU Dictatorship win, then the majority have voted in favour of populism which is not democracy, therefore all the people get another “Peoples Vote“. If the people keep voting for populism, then this will be repeated over and over again infinitum until democracy wins, while the people remain under the rule of the EU Dictatorship. On the other hand, if on only one occasion, the people vote in favour of the EU Dictatorship, then THEIR people have voted against populism and therefore OUR people do not get any more Peoples Vote’s.

The Peoples Parliament will therefore not give us a General Election as OUR people who are populists are predicted to win but are excluded from the “Peoples Parliament” because we are not THEIR people. Therefore the electoral commission will be forced by the “Peoples Parliament” to exclude OUR people who should not be entitled to vote in any “Peoples vote” because OUR people are populists.

This is what is called Chairman Mao’s understanding of Communism

It is simply a matter of the country voted and those who were outvoted shouting and screaming their discontent, like their kids do in restaurants and pubs around England, but rarely elsewhere, and their way is the way of street protests and social media, whereas those who outvoted them, the majority by well over a million, sit and watch the circus. like we sit and watch them with their screaming kids in restaurants and trains where they take no measures to control them and my wife amazed with the fat (veggie) females with purple hair and tattoos who believe they have the right to dictate to the majority because they are young, I would give them half a chance if they had a degree in an academic science or a knowledge or even a slight interest in of history, but no chance of that, strictly or britains got talent is their limit generally and any with a degree is generally in meeja, with their musical knowledge confined at its widest in oos playin at glasto or leeds yet, despite that. willing to pay 200 quid in advace to go with no idea who is playing, twats

I am now hoping for a confidence vote. If Boris loses, rumours are that he will immediately call for a General Election. Parliament can agree, therefore dissolving Parliament until at least the 4th November, after the General Election on Thursday 31st October, Brexit Day. Making it possible for a clean break Brexit with a brand new deal better than “No Deal” approved by Nigel Farage and the Brexit Party. The Tories could do a deal with the Brexit Party not to stand against Tory Brexiteers and Tory Remainers who voted for Boris in the confidence vote, as well as about one hundred newly selected Tory Brexiteer candidates expected to win if the Brexit Party does not stand. It looks like the Labour party is going to deselect all its Brexiteers, so apart from the 18 Northern Ireland seats. That would give the Brexit party free reign to challenge the Labour /SNP /LibDem /PC /Lucas /Bercow Remainer alliance of about 230 seats without the Tories standing.

Also Boris could win the confidence vote or Parliament could disagree to call a General Election and form a Rump parliament under Jeremy Corbyn, purge the Peoples Parliament of Monarchists, again, abolish the Monarchy, again, therefore effectively restoring the Speaker as head of state, and then extend the Brexit date. If a member of the EU like Italy is so shocked by this that they don’t agree to an extension then the Rump Parliament would have to repeal Brexit and abolish democracy and General Elections under an “Anti-Populism Act”

Jeremy Corbyn would then have to go to Brussels with a £39 Billion tribute from Parliament as a sign of submission of a once Great Britain to vassalage and subservience. A “General Monk” type character in the British Army would then be needed to march on Parliament to restore democracy and the Queen, who this time would have to go to Canada due to the fascists wanting to unite Europe.

      RP,
Doesn’t the 5 year Parliament Act require that 67% of MPs agree to hold a GE before the 5 years is reached? There is no possibility such a high % of them agreeing to a GE because large numbers of those who will have thwarted Brexit know they will be voted out. So, at least initially, I think we will have chaos with no government lasting longer than a few months, the only thing which will keep them together is their determination to stop Brexit and their fear of the wrath of the people. But that fear may drive them down the anti democratic road you outline in the second last paragraph. Perhaps they will claim an ongoing state of emergency and refuse any elections until they deem it to be over.

Knowledge of the Fixed Term Parliament Act within the BBC seems limited and their duty to ‘ inform ‘ the public with regard to the coming week had failed .

I understood that if Corbyn goes for the vote of no confidence and wins the government had 14 days to get another government together and if this fails the General Election. Is called .
So effectively the no confidence vote needs to be called this coming week by the Remainers .

I understand that it takes 6 weeks to set up a Thursday General Election date so time will be tight for any new government to contemplate either withdrawing A50 or asking for yet another extension .

I worry for a general election because I think Comrade Corbyn has been working hard to corrupt key seats . He will also offer the SNP and his friends in IRA Sinn Fein anything they want – in order to get a working majority to do the Marxist stuff .

The BBC of course will be overjoyed by such a development

Meanwhile in the real world the effect on both the economy and national safety would be catastrophic – that’s real Project Fear .

The Globalists who have ruled the West for the past thirty or forty years are fighting hard to preserve their power and they are fighting dirty. We see it particularly clearly in the USA and UK, where their attempts to remove President Trump and to stop Brexit are clear demonstrations of their willingness to use and abuse their power. Even with a Brexit PM , or a Anti Globalist President, the power of the deep state is such that they can successfully resist and perhaps even over turn democratic outcomes.
The two main pillars upon which this power rests are their control of the MSM and of the judiciary. The MSM manipulates the news such that wide sections of the credulous public only hear the Globalist propaganda and large numbers still believe it. The Globalists don’t have to confront the mass anger that they deserve because the public simply doesn’t know the extent of their abuses.
The judiciary refuse to punish wrong doing by Globalists such as Clinton, Comey or their shock troops in Antifa. The judiciary also connives to throw crooked spanner’s in the works to prevent Brexit or the building of border defences. But it is ever ready to bend the law to convict the likes of Tommy Robinson or some of the President’s associates.
In the face of such ruthless abuse of power the question must be asked about the ability of democracy to over come it. Is the will of the people worth a damn in the 21st century?

However a jounalist this morning in speaking to the nominated leader of the Hong rebels and to the UK Ambassador implied that the UK should be ready to offer those Hong Kong people entry to the UK and given UK Passports ! Firstly Hong Kong is not our responsibility, secondly we as a nation are overcrowded, and thirdly it is perhaps doubtful that China would allow any Hong Kong people to leave HK-they would close Airports and Shipping ports. They do not think as we do in the West and its about time we understood that. The word democracy does not enter their language, nor any connection with Human Rights. Perhaps not to everyone’s taste but we should keep ourselves distanced from what is happening in Hong Kong and reduce the amount of publicity from the excited BBC et al from that region.

The real coup took actually place when Theresa May, pupil of Angela Merkel, was appointed to sabotage Brexit by concocting/conjuring up something called a ‘Deal’. Wonderful diversion!
Being a pupil of AM, she also signed the ‘UN Migrant Compact’. (You think the EU is a problem? wait till you take on the UN!)
That way maximum damage was done to the people of Britain in all possible respects.

You know, the more I think of how many times May THE traitor said she supported Brexit the more disgusted I am. I simply cannot get over the fact that this woman who says she a Christian yet simply behaved so unchristian by lying to the voters about her so called sincerity when she rambled on about “Brexit means Brexit”

I for one fell for it hook line and sinker.

Something that I will never forget.

When I compare Boris to May I can only see one person who really loves Great Britain, and by his “works” is proving it.

Never forget one important thing: there is no overlap between the Kingdom of Christ and the kings of the world. The former is eternal and 100% reliable. The politicians are all about human power. They will always disappoint, sooner or later, and cannot be relied on. Whatever they say and do, it has to be taken with a large pinch of salt. Finally, they will all be here today, and gone tomorrow. Thanks be.

I expect to see Javid being returned to the back benches soon. He was appointed to the Cabinet by May. He may be gone by May. The BBC of course will cry racism if he is removed.

    Sky have done a feature:

“”Details have emerged of a furious row between Boris Johnson and Sajid Javid following the sacking of one of the Chancellor’s closest advisers by the PM’s chief adviser Dominic Cummings.””

“”Only five weeks after being appointed to the role by Mr Johnson, a “livid” Mr Javid is reported to have confronted the prime minister over Number 10 dictating spending policy and the sacking of Sonia Khan – a key member of his Treasury team.””

Nationalist and patriotic people who want to preserve their nations and identities in free liberal democracies aren’t the ones who are dangerous. Far-left totalitarian Marxists and their socialist comrades who are forcibly imposing cultural Marxism and stamping out democracy are the real threat to Western civilization and humanity. As we are seeing now in respect to those that are casuing such a nonsensical tirade which will gain them nothing of value to the nations peoples. They really do not understand that Outside the EU we can be a free and properly democratic nation. Free from Europe we could stop half our government spending being wasted, could save the £200 billion+ a year it costs us to be in Europe, repeal all its 111,000 regulations, and stop losing the £22 billion a year to Europe on our balance of payments. With those vast savings we could easily and not onlypay all our people a good living wage but revive the fading NHS and other important infrastructure issues. Sadly so few appear to want to study or understand what is ahead for the future of us all. There are people that remain behind the scenes of the world stage, and that is why there are two types of history: We are raised by tradition, to trust our governments, and are convinced that they care about us. This however is a big mistake. Below the surface of official politics lies a complicated social and intellectual process that is taking place fuelled by the media BBC et al. The famous Victorian stateman Benjamin Disraeli once alleged: ‘The world is governed by different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.’

The Latin word sinistra originally meant “left” but took on meanings of “evil” or “unlucky” by the Classical Latin era, and this double meaning survives in European derivatives of Latin, and in the English word “sinister”

My own town has been flooded with placard-waving remainers. You’d seriously believe the whole town was in favour of avoiding a no-deal (aka avoiding Brexit). The irony is that this district voted in a Brexit party representative for MEP, pipping a green party candidate by several hundred votes. Deluded fools nevertheless flood the town, stoked up, of course, by the bbbc bias.

My morning was complete when a semi-hysterical woman thrust an extinction event leaflet into my less than eager hand. A Greta whatsername led event is coming to town soon. Great. Can’t wait.

And therein lies the most collosal PR mistake made this centuary.

From the start, the Brexiteers should have referred to the choice as ‘a deal with the unelected EU or an organised withdrawal under WTO regulations.’

No opponents, no experts, no TV pundits, no politicians should have been allowed to mention ‘No deal’ with out being challenged to use the correct term – ‘organised withdrawal under WTO regulations.’

If they continued to use ‘No deal’, the interview/discussion should have terminated by the Brexiteer, offering to talk again when the correct term is used.

If the terms ‘crash out’ or ‘cliff edge’ are used. They should be challenged with, ‘The WTO is the place where countries negotiate the rules of international trade – there are 164 members and, if they don’t have free trade agreements with each other, they trade under WTO rules. Nobody will crash out or fall over a cliff edge.’

With all the brains on the Brexit side, how did they miss these simple ploys?

Every time ‘No deal’ is said over the airwaves, by either side, it projects a NEGATIVE impression – i.e. nothing.

And it’s still going on. Boris, JRM even Farage (sometimes).

      I despair!

Hi, can someone savvy with searching for images and gif images over the internet try to find out where the BBC got this gif from (see link below).

Basically it was something the BBC posted on their Formula One live web reporting page following Lewis Hamilton’s crash in free practice. In it they say here is Lewis Hamilton’s team of engineers preparing to fix Hamilton’s car. The image it shows is a group of middle-eastern type men who could be limbering up for in preparation for an entirely different operation. I assume this is all part of the BBC trying to normalise something:

ps Actually they could be Indians – but I thought it was a strange image to have.

Who says that no deal Brexit will limit such lucrative cooperation?

I am sure Priti will have full cooperation from the Frogs in her bid to reduce illegal immigration – if that is what she wants.
