Tourette’s Robinson in Dublin talking to Irish Farmers who want to stop the UK making trade agreements which bring in cheaper food that that of EIre.
Robinson didn’t challenge or say ‘ the Irish republic fought to be separate from the UK – the UK has its interests and the EU has theirs’ oh no – totally sympathetic to their view .
Nor was there any suggestion that EIre should pull out of the EU if the UK has gone .
A complete waste of taxpayers cash using valuable carbon emissions to send him to Eire.
For once, the revolting Nick Robinson is doing something useful – producing lots of CO2.
Remember, when you’re talking about the environment, CO2 is the gas of life – sweet FA to do with global warming (or whatever they’re calling it, nowadays).
Nick Robinson has used lots of CO2 to go to Ireland to denigrate the population there (with the help of Irish Government politicians and others) as being terrorists, thugs and smugglers.
Nick Robinson has used lots of CO2 to go to Ireland to try to overturn Brexit by multiplying by many millions the paperwork require by Irish business should there be a No-Deal Brexit.
Extinction Rebellion will be upset.
[Apologies to Fed for duplication. Beat me to it! At least two independent thinkers spotted the BBC bias. 🙂 ]
Fed, LOL! Just to encourage you, I’ve just switched off the TOADY Prog. Just can’t stand any more CO2 wastage on the Beeb’s anti-Brexit propaganda and hypocrisy.
Absolute joy watching Dan Walker get slapped down by Kit Malthouse MP on the morning News.
However much our Dan tried to push the BBC agenda, Conservative austerity, crime outside London (I.e nothing to do with the Mayor then) , brexit, Kit just swatted him away like a troublesome mosquito.
Lovely to watch, when it ended Dan looked like he was leaving the headmasters office after 6 of the best, as my dad would have said, with a face like a slapped ar*se!
I think he will be doing BBC detention for retraining tonight!
This is brilliant.! “Kier Starmer would say that wouldn’t he”
Watch as Tory veteran Peter Lilley, surrounded by Remainers on #bbcNewsnight, savages the Surrender Act and destroys the ever sneering Emily Maitlis in the process. pic.twitter.com/RaWi2Y1n0v
I avoid Newsnight like the plague but I laughed at Emily Maitlis’ absolutely Classic BBC interjection of “there are people who think that”. Which translated means either that nobody thinks this at all but I’m using this particular turn of phrase to get an unproven objection or doubt into the conversation. Or more commonly it means I think that, but if she said that it would break the BBCs impartiality rules (cough) and would have also personalised the argument which would have allowed Peter Lilley to ask HER questions and it wouldn’t have ended well for her.
Yes Digg, it was a pleasant change to see an MP give the twerp a little slap. Effectively, Gordon Broon had spent so much money, that we didn’t have, in the middle of the financial crisis that things had got a bit ‘tight’ for the whole country as a result. (Not simply Tory cuts to police numbers then, as was suggested)
(This didn’t stop the SE News a few mins later re-stating that increased police numbers were to reverse Tory cuts)
The BBC still have the propaganda foghorn on full volume.
I no longer pay the licence tax and so have been marvelling at the mediocrity and misinformation spewed forth by Sly Views through YouTube for a few months. For the sake of your mental welfare, watch with care. And a large pinch of salt. Or glass of brandy.
Have to agree with Monkey Brains, I saw the same report, and it offers a completely different and much more honest perspective of our relationship with the EU and especially the Dutch judicial system than the bBbc, and the deeply unimpressive Casciani, are programmed to do. A rare occurrence however, “cheeks of the same arse” and all that.
Where they do seem to be in total agreement is in their attempts to convince us that we should believe the words and integrity of the German chancellor and the EU with regards to recent Brexit negotiations and phonecalls over those of our own Government. Now that is both concerning and dangerous, but not at all surprising, the majority of the media in this country are no more than treacherous, opportunistic leeches, nowhere near as clever as they themselves alone believe.
In case any BBC senior staff to get up early enough to catch Andrew Neil defending Adam Boulton defending Kay Burley, this is why you are writing your epitaphs…
Our local BBC station is still trying to make out it’s Famous Five Play The Bongos in London rather than George and Gail and Roger and Emma do Animal Farm 2.
Aaaah, the little chukky doll herself, Kay Burley, has apparently been given the morning breakfast spot on Sky. Sarah-Jane Mee has been off sick for a few weeks, which is not a good thing to do when the Burley shark is circling around for a better prime time spot ! Clearly Burley has got fed up with only (some) pensioners watching her afternoon show, and after getting jealous of Sophie Ridge getting her name on the title show, she had to do it as well. At least I can now watch Sky in the afternoon without having to suffer her screechy voice, which the breakfast audience will now have to endure.
Woke up to catch the end of Toady and found Nick shouting at Michael Martin in frustration because he had not repeated that ‘Boris did not have a clue’ or some such thing. Nick had badly wanted him to. Michael politely refused.
He put a chuckle in his voice to make it sound less bossy and manipulative, but -even half asleep- I caught the drift: Nick is still up to his old games of putting words into people’s mouths (especially if it is related to the hunt for Boris’ scalp).
The BBC love Extinction Rebellion so much that they have clearly forgotten to read ALL of article 11 of the Human Rights Act which allows for peaceful protest but not where it prevents the rights and freedoms of others.
The rights of hundreds of thousands of people who just want to go about their daily lives is being infringed and the BBC ignore them..
About time the London Police treated these ‘Stinking Rebellion’ people the same way as they treated the miners during their strike in 1984-85.
The Snowflakes would melt away …………..
Sluff
ITV don’t. Their reporter this morning said it like it is – in a way you would never hear on BBC. At one point he said ‘ we were told to stop blocking the cycle lane by them this morning – well we wouldn’t have to if they weren’t camped on the road’ and with it a face that said it all. BBC on the other hand
By the way, what are the clothes worn by the ER nutters made of? Yet another hypocrisy conveniently overlooked by the marxist students in the BBC ‘news’ room.
I hope they are only the likes pure wool, undied of course, and not those horrible synthetics like polyester, polyamide, goretex, which are made from……..oops……. greenhouse gas-emitting chemical processes.
There is only one thing for it. Nude ER protesting. Looking forward to mid-Winter.
Social media is pushing at me the jailing of Billy Charlton who led the Justice for Chelsey Campaign
AFAIK – The local press say the jury trial was all OK and he was found guilty cos he led demonstrations that raised the issue of police not investigating rapes by immigrants properly and that he stirred racial hate 5 times.
– Whereas his supporters say he was stitched up and the press are compliant
.. You’ve got things like the prosecutor saying “he made no mention about the fact around 85 per cent of accused of sexual offences in the area were white”
.. Well that is fallacy of comparing apples to oranges .. cos accusations are not the same as convictions and sexual offences is a broad category that cover internet offences , whereas gang rape count is heaviest end of offences.
Secondly since his point was that police/system was racist in the way they properly investigated offences by whites, but NOT those by immigrants, he was not likely to campaign about white perps at the demos
– Yet on the OTOH the paper says his own barrister said in court that he sometimes said racist things at the rallies
Well then if that was the case he really harmed his own campaign.
Yet it is also strange hat the authorities let him do it 5 times and then said we have to be harsh cos you did it 5 times. They should have prosecuted him after the first time.

The modern context is that the XR protesters in London say all kinds of hatey & incendiary things , stick labels on people and politicians, that could incite violent nutters. Like both of the two recent mass shooters in the states cited environmental concerns ..And in the UK farms have been raided by protesters farmers threatened and animals have died.
A bit more on the stolen lorry attack in Germany. BBC quote an eyewitness report from an FNP article on the driver of the lorry: “I spoke to him. He was bleeding from his nose, his hands were bloody and his trousers torn. He said ‘my whole body hurts.'”
And BBC says prosecutors are investigating whether the attacker had any mental health concerns (I can’t find any reference to this from other agencies.)
If true, clearly IPSO has already covertly engaged the services of our Marxist State Broadcaster to de facto, experiment on reporting styles to suppress any information on, ‘the Religion of Peace’. For the BBC, this is clearly already their reporting policy.
As Trevor Phillips says, this form of suppression: Where will it stop?
I love the way the snowball rolls down hill whilst simultaneously gaining mass and momentum/kinetic energy. Oh! but I hear, ‘that’s Physics which doesn’t effect humans everyday life’ – it only goes on off the planet, doesn’t it?
Is the police being too soft or too hard on climate protesters in central London?
Met Police chief Lawrence Taylor says “we can’t keep everybody happy… we have to make sure our response is measured and proportionate”. https://bbc.in/2ouTzLw
***
And from the look of the comments, the Police For… See… Nail Polish Squad may have come up with another crowd pleaser
I read the bbc article you linked to. It was heartening to see the fledgling forest of 800 or so trees that they protestors have planted……….all in plastic pots. Erm,,,
His is not to reason why, his is just to do or die.
Or, to put it another way, he is there to implement the Law, not to decide what is ‘measured and proportionate’ and what is not. Nor to keep anyone happy or unhappy.
Time plod did their jobs, instead of ‘maybe we will and maybe we won’t’.
⛸???? ???? UK TV’s first same-sex dancing couple is coming to our screens….but it’s NOT on Strictly.
Steps singer Ian “H” Watkins will partner skater Matt Evers on the next series of Dancing on Ice.
Despite the best efforts of Strictly Come Dancing to have their competing couples hugging and snuggling each other all of the time, and the number of marriages ruined and created by the programme, dancing has never been about sex, as in one person wanting to go to bed with another person. It’s about the balance, the ying and yang, the two sides of one coin of a female person and a male person carrying out moves that have been honed over centuries. The man and woman themselves could be heterosexual, homosexual, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, whatever. IT DOESN’T MATTER. But as usual the gutter minds of programme makers and the sheep attitude of not wanting to offend anyone, at least anyone who shouts loudest, is resulting in this. Hopefully they’ll be rubbish but get voted in each week, thus raising the ire of viewers who will see it for what it is.
Agree with all you’ve said Woolwich. But, if, next year Strictly do go down the same sex route, then there will be a slump in the viewing audience. Not initially, because as a species we are curious if not downright nosey, so there will be an initial curiosity value to see 2 blokes/women dancing together. Yes, we know that the tango was first performed by 2 chaps, but we now like our dancers to be a male and female partnership. The Producers mess with the format at their peril. – unless they want to ditch the Plank Tess Daly.
Viewing figures are already way down on previous years, because no-one knows who the hell they are watching !
When are the “wimmin” going to realise that this means that there are less opportunities for women to dance on tv?
Quite ironic that all these so called “equality rights” are causing such inequalities.
The Remainiacs dashing around blaming anybody but the EU.
The Behr article is nonsense, Brexit is impossible, but BTL The Guardianistas are apoplectic.
From one comment.
“The EU has been dealing with incompetent, incapable, venal, mendacious, lying UK ministers intent
on talking only to themselves, rather than engaging in negotiations in good faith.
Their dedication to Ireland, a small population relative to many others in the EU, is incredible, and shows
the benefit of membership for that purpose alone, let alone all the economic, political, and social benefits of membership.”
Really?
The UK population was lied to about the EU when we joined the EEC.
The lies have continued ever since.
The EU has not implemented the results of ANY referenda which did not assist its totalitarian mission.
The EU is the enemy of European people.
Since the referendum the anti Brexit lies have multiplied like viruses, especially in the HoC, from traitors who promised to implement the result.
“The EU has been dealing with incompetent, incapable, venal, mendacious, lying UK ministers”
Correct, then May resigned.
“social benefits of membership”
Like millions of our children gang raped by imported voters.
“dedication to Ireland” “good faith”
The EU has no dedication to the ROI, or anywhere else, its stated intention is to destroy the states.
All who wish to remain in the EU should move, goodbye you will not be missed.
Well said. If only these truths would sink into the mushy brains of the Remainiacs.
Yuri Bezmenov in his interview; it’s on youtube; told a truth about the brainwashed collectivists – they cannot be reasoned with, even if they are presented with irrefutable facts. The best that a sane country can expect is that these damaged individuals die off naturally and some semblance of sanity and normality is protected by normal citizens until the damaged ones have disappeared.
Are the Irish ( Eire variety) mad enough not to seek a compromise around Boris’s clever proposal…………….?
It could be modelled to rework the veto after the 4 years further purgatory to put equal say between the Unionists and Nationalists
in Ulster. In effect giving them joint shares in any veto.
This could also motivate Sinn Fein to rejoin the Stormont?
It would give us Mrs May’s WD minus the dreaded backstop;
aka Selmayr’s gift!!
PS When all the usual suspects ( Tusk,Junker, Merkel etc) pipe up
you can sense the wasp’s nest has been disturbed.
Unless and until there is no reasonable chance that the Remainers in Parliament can quash Brexit the EU will not compromise and maintain that the only deal available is something very similar to the May WA. Why would they when they think that the British establishment can stop Brexit? Even if we leave on the 31st they will be hoping that the Remainers can find a way or win an election and take us back in. Only a Leave majority in the HoC will bring them to the table on trade etc. Our next GE could be this year or scandalously delayed by the Remainers until 2022. More likely is that the Remain Parliament will hold a referendum with the option of staying in or accepting the worst possible deal. The prospects of leaving are not good unless Boris et al can find a way of forcing a GE to be held soon.
It takes a guy like Leo Mckinstry in the SUN newspaper to succinctly toss the antics and demands of the XR Eco nutters in London into the garbage bin where they belong. If only the BBC had a few reporters with such razor-like analysis what a better place this Country would be!
There must have been a slip up at BBC Quality Control when this was commissioned and aired. I actually thought i was watching 5 and was quite horrified when reality kicked in. More of this please auntie! (Ed Balls is still a Cnut though).
Breaking news
2 shot dead and many injured close to a synagogue in Germany.
Let’s see how long before the BBC report it and of course it will be someone with a mental illness no doubt.
Let’s look on the bright side.
All those examples of poor driving standards a couple of years ago (Westminster, Nice etc) seem to have been resolved.
Clearly driving instructors have upped their game.
‘Die Welt’ reports 2 shot in Halle. Much reticence to speculate..
A day or two ago a bearded man calling out an ad for Alan’s Snackbar drove a truck into people in Limburg, also Germany. Much reluctance to speculate….
I notice The Express reports a shooting near Wiedesdorf, as well as claiming that a hand grenade was thrown at the Jewish cemetery in Halle. No mention in the German press.
In Germany, nobody wants to offend Merkel’s murderous guests?
Well the MSM , who share Merkel lunatic policy, won’t report it or if they do water the whole thing down so that it isn’t too upsetting. But it’s the same right across the West, the MSM are almost silent on any attacks by Muslims but grossly exaggerate when any Muslim is as much as merely offended. We re steadily progressing down the road to Islamisation but I expect that in ten or twenty years time, when it will be too late to stop it, the younger generations will wake up and try to resist the loss of freedom and theimposition of Islamic ways. It’s just they are too thick to see the inevitability of the consequences of the present policy.
That would play well, I’m sure. Scottish judges asking for an extension. I’m sure the BBC would approve wholeheartedly, but the electorate? It would be another nail in the coffin for the perceived impartiality of judges.
My view is that judges considering writing a letter asking for an extension is proof that there has been a coup, these judges consider themselves to be in charge of the country and who dares to oppose them? If the opportunity arises and a non wokist government is voted in , which isn’t in thrall to the judiciary for services rendered, it must take measures to put the wokist judiciary back in its box. I expect that the judges will then be asked by some wealthy wokist fool to rule if the curtailment of their newly assumed powers is lawful. They will find it isn’t of course and we will have another constitutional crisis , this time the people and the government v the judiciary and the wokist establishment. The wokist revolution must be resisted.
must admit until recently Judges & Coroners judgments where not on my radar (to busy working for a living) but knew some verdicts/judgements were just stupid & obviously biased.
But now I have the time to read/hear on the news some of their findings/verdicts I can’t but wonder “who elected/elevated this pratt to pass judgement on anybody or anything”
ps – you can go after anybody (even the PM & Royals) but don’t pick on the judiciary or some in the media get upset!!!
“Remain Campaigners” : people who have been lying to the UK public about the European “Project” 24/7/365 since 1972.
“No Deal Brexit” [1] Truthful version : UK leaves the EU and negotiates with the EU afterwards.
What 17+ million people voted for.
“No Deal Brexit” [2] Remain version : UK does not leave the EU, the terms in which the UK remains in the EU become much worse.
What exactly zero people voted for.
The next general election will be a massive turning point for the UK. People I belive will elect MP for who they are and what they stand for, not which political party they represent……I do hope that my MP knocks on my Door (Holly Lynch) not only will i invite her in my home to discuss (one of the few opurtunites ill have to get a 30 somthing women into my home…) her views but ill also take the oppurtunity to say goodbye. She is a remainer and has an o so slim majority.
I’m looking to do the same with my MP, the born-in-Kent so not-Welsh-at-all Liz Saville-Roberts. I am embarrassed and ashamed to have her as my MP, not that I have ever voted for her. Unfortunately she had a massive majority in 2017 and it will be interesting to see if it holds up as she has p155ed off a lot of people around here.
I can’t help noticing that on the BBC webshite front page as of 1320 on 09/10 the story ‘Two killed in gun attack in German city’ gets the exact same space as ‘Coleen Rooney in Twitter row with Rebekah Vardy’.
With priorities and coverage like that we can I suspect draw our own, highly accurate, conclusions.
You wont hear much about this on the BBC. But as many of you know
today is the most important day in the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur
( Day of Atonement.)
In Halle in East Germany there has been a terrorist attack near a
synagogue in which there are fatalities. I reiterate , expect the
BBC to hide it away as they did with the Paris police mass
murder. Yes four or more deaths is considered mass murder.
I expect that the diversity department at the BBC is already
giving out instructions to the news department to keep the
story under wraps.
He cannot understand why Parliament needs to sit on a Saturday. I think it is because he was upset about the prorogration of Parliament and he made such a fuss that some people went to Court over it. Now he’s upset because he cannot spend time clearing the leaves off his lawn – unless, of course, he has a gardener to do that for him.
Serves you right Dominic.
Sarah is not bright enough to remind Dominic Grieve MP (ex-Con) (now Indy and too scared to call a ByElection for his constituents) of the reason.
Dominic remains dim and grievously confused.
‘Part-time’ could have explained it to him. Hope he listened to her bit.
I was musing on what percentage of the traitor parliament was sitting during the ‘ non prorogation ‘
And how many of those traitors who made fools of themselves actually did anything during those days .
But then again – judging by the calibre of those 500 it shouldn’t be too hard to work out . It’s a shame that their parliament is only closed until next Monday.
Is anyone – apart from the rest of the bubble – going to miss them ?
Fed, did someone give the game away at lunchtime. Think it was either Grieve or Part-time or the Brexiteer MP (sorry, name was garbled by Sarah, didn’t catch it) from the south-west of England. One of them said “Nothing is happening there except Brexit chatter.”
Up
I’m actually waiting for anyone to publish what they have actually been doing in those days so wonderfully recovered by the corrupt biased Supreme Court .
The bubble seemed to think the whole thing had value but all I think it achieved was to show that the senior judiciary is just as corrupt as other bits of the Remainer State .
Not the BBC but hopefully allowed as it’s in the same spirit
With reference to the Extinction Rebellion demonstrators, has Channel 4’s Jon Snow been down to Whitehall and commented in disgust live on air how he’s “never seen so many white people” in one place yet? If not……….why not?
The architect of Dominic’s displeasure and confusion, Hilary Benn MP (Lab), is brought on to the programme to explain why. He doesn’t really know why MPs are having to work so hard but suggests some reasons, including a way out which seemed to require repetition of the phrase: ‘subject to a confirmatory Referendum with Remain on the ballot paper’.
If Hilary was real chip off his Dad’s block, he’d be bright enough to realise that having Remain on the ballot paper for a Confirmatory Referendum will mean that it is precisely not a Confirmatory Referendum. You could have a two part Confirmatory Referendum, asking the electorate in Part 1 ‘Do you wish to Remain’ and ‘Do you wish to Leave’. If Remain win, Part 2 become null and void and you then have to have a third Confirmatory Referendum to confirm that Remain decision on a ‘best of three’ basis.
If Leave win the first Confirmatory Referendum, then you move to Part 2 and have a choice between ‘Leave with a Deal’ or ‘Leave without a Deal’. Simples.
If the first option is then chosen, MPs will have to work even harder in the House to negotiate and pass a deal with the EU.
Did I hear Dominic Grieve MP (ex-Con) (now Indy) groan?
Laura ‘Part-time’ Kuenssberg pops up to waft the Grievous confusion away with a simple sentence or two. It is all down to the timing. The EU’s Leaders’ Conference and the operative date of the Benn Act. Simples.
Shame that Part-time did not also explain why you cannot have a Confirmatory Referendum with Remain on the ballot paper to Hilary Benn.
In case no one has seen this posting by John Ward on his The Slog website, here’s a link.
It shows the real nature of that major Remainer Rat, Philip Hammond. If there was any justice in this world, this despicable specimen of a human being would be arrested and charged with sedition and collaborating with a foreign power:
jic
The Conservative and the Brexit Party manifestos must contain new legislation to diminish the power of MPs.
Manifestoes must also have details of legislation and investigations into the mass treason which has occurred (is still occurring) in Parliament.
Slaps on the wrist will not deter these traitors, put a guillotine by the door so that when MPs enter they know they are one lie from being beheaded.
TWatO Watch #4 – Nothing like being up with the times, eh, BBC?
TWatO recycled old news. The item about a teen injured in a riding accident has been around for days now. For those that do not know, surgeons rebuilt her damaged jaw after the summer holiday accident and Emily Eccles was able to return to school at the start of September.
Well done, surgeons. And good wishes to Emily for her ongoing recovery & healing.
Not such a good job done by the BBC recycling old news. A past D-G promised they would not do that anymore over fifteen years ago.
another free advert the BBC gives to its Greenblob mates
Mike Thompson – Committee on Climate Change
Charlene Cranny – UK Sustainable Investment Fund
Mary Stevens – Friends of The Earth
I don’t have any money really to invest because, thanks to needing a car, the GreenBlob have been taking so much tax off me to use it that I don’t have anything left to build a share portfolio to help them out. They should have thought of that up-front and campaigned against transport taxes.
The trains and buses would be cheaper to use now as well.
8pm Moral Maze : Academic Freedom
Doctors and professors have been subjected to harassment and no-platforming because of their unfashionable opinions on a range of topics including colonialism, transgender rights and abortion. E
Now a group of academics is ready to launch ‘The Journal of Controversial Ideas’: peer-reviewed research by authors who can choose to remain anonymous because they fear a backlash that could endanger their careers or even their lives.
Opponents of the journal say it will provide a safe space for dangerous and offensive ideas published under the cloak of anonymity. Should there be any constraints on the freedom of academics to make discoveries and interpret them as they choose? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00094jx

“Opponents of the journal say it will provide a safe space for dangerous and offensive ideas published under the cloak of anonymity.
Should there be any constraints on the freedom of academics to make discoveries and interpret them as they choose?”
The alternative to anonymous scientific articles is for Lefties to :-
a) Stop conspiring to ensure that every child is fed exclusively lefty nonsense from birth to 23 years of age.
b) Stop objecting to the publication of facts that they would like to become former facts (or better still ex facts).
Prime example race and intelligence.
Before 1950 real Science Nobel prizes were mostly won by inhabitants of Mainland Europe and the Anglosphere.
20% of these prizes were awarded to members of the numerically small Jewish community.
A community which still heads the international IQ statistics, statistics which show East Asians in second place.
Chinese and Japanese Scientists now receive more Nobel prizes.
Blacks have won zero Nobel Science prizes, which could have been predicted from their success in IQ tests.
But any scientist unwise enough to tell the truth, eg Nobel Laureate James Watson co-discoverer of DNA, is sacked and vilified.
Because IQ does not measure intelligence, IQ tests were developed in Europe, better nutrition, etc.
For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled.

you can never have enough Crisis’s, the BEEB love em & if you watch the all new Panorama prog later they drill down into the facts off –

Climate Crisis
NHS Crisis
Mental Health Crisis
Drugs Crisis
Knife Crisis

anorexia nervosa seems to slipped down the list for the moment.
It is my belief that a matriarchy is being imposed on us by stealth, just as the EU empire is doing.
God created Man and then created Woman as his companion, not vice versa. What is in process is biblical in my view. Satan corrupted Eve who in turn corrupted Adam. And he’s in the process of doing it again.
Went past a pub today which had a sign outside. It said “Brexit Beer. Tell us what you want and we’ll give you something else.” I laughed out loud. I did once see my Brexiteer MP in that same pub.
“BREAKING: here in Brussels new President Sassoli admits in chamber that he has bypassed the UK PM and Govt and is now in direct discussions with Bercow about Brexit negotiations. He refused to take my urgent question on what authority they had to have these discussions.”
Old
I’m guessing that one was leaked for effect .
If it were true I’m sure the Head of State might be tempted to raise an eyebrow – before she is replaced by the MP for Buckingham .
Fed,
I think, if this is true, we all ought to volunteer for running the country since voting for a particular person/party to govern is now clearly irrelevant. Perhaps just let’s get MI5 to step in and arrest Bercow for treason.
And if that was Boris doing something as underhand, Gina Miller would have him in the Supreme court tomorrow and the BBC would have remoaner after remoaner on telling us what a charlatan he is !!!!!
Absolutely fizzing. The double standards make my blood boil !!!!!!
The @BBCRadio4 prog researchers main job is supply a stream of ideas that are #Woke 'We've got a successful #Black American country singer .& we can tell a storyin the old days they kept his face off the album cover, so whites wouldn't be put off' Tickboxhttps://t.co/gx40DHWydi
SG,
“…we can tell a storyin the old days they kept his face off the album cover, so whites wouldn’t be put off’. Well, its happening all over again never mind the ‘old days’. See a black or asian face on the tv ? most turn off. Reminder, that’s 2019 so what’s changed apart from the fact that it’s being rammed down the throats of every one of us, one way or another. It will surely end in tears.
Now this REALLY annoys me, because if it’s a programme about Charlie Pride I recently saw a documentary about him on BBC4. A nicer, more humble, non chip on his shoulder man you’d be hard pressed to beat. He ate, played and slept over with white children as did the white children with him. It was the norm where he lived because everyone was so dirt poor they were all “the same”. There was a scene of him and Willie Nelson on a tour bus swapping poor stories, kind of like Monty Python’s 3 Yorkshiremen but for real.
I’ve not heard this Times story on the BBC
Irish leader Leo Varadkar ‘reneged on secret Brexit compromise over Northern Ireland’, Number 10 claims
… as Boris Johnson prepares to fly to Dublin for last-ditch talks
Why is it that our lot are always traveling to the EU people. Why don’t they ever come to us? Our lot have adopted the role of supplicant and it’s not appropriate, especially given the poor calibre of people on the EU side.

The Mash Report
BBC Two comedy satirising the news
“With the onset of Brexit, Trump and indeed the dab, we are in the midst of the most unprecedented political and world events in recent history.
Luckily, comedian Nish Kumar is on hand with The Mash Report – a lightning-quick, satirical and surreal news show that will keep audiences informed on everything that has happened – or not happened – that week. All with the writers from The Daily Mash .
In front of a live studio audience and with the help of his news team including brilliant comedic talent Ellie Taylor, Steve N Allen and Rachel Parris, they analyse the week’s news stories from an unashamedly left-wing standpoint, lampooning everything from hard news to showbiz and zeitgeist cultural phenomena.

haven’t cringed at such a biased “comedy” show for a long time.
Generally I don’t watch or listen to anything on the bBBC, for obvious reasons, but today I was a passenger in a car, and the driver had Radio 1 on.
Now, back in the day, I did use to listen to Radio 1. The likes of Kid Jensen, DLT, Simon Bates, etc etc. But after listening to the appalling, embarassing output today, I really wonder what the hell is happening?
It seems virtually every DJ on the station is female. Almost every song played is either by a BAME “singer” or someone who sounds BAME. And this means that every song is really a pile of cr@p.
The news bulletins were predictable. Nothing at all about the killings in Germany (obviously) but of course they have to mention the same-sex dancing that will infect some people’s TV screens in a few months time.
As much as I get on with the driver in question, I can guarantee that today hasn’t “turned me on” to Radio 1.
This tweet directly quotes Macron on Islamic terrorism

“Dancing on Ice: Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins to be in same-sex couple”
“Dancing On Ice is to beat Strictly Come Dancing to having UK TV’s first same-sex dancing couple.
“Steps singer Ian “H” Watkins will be teamed up with professional skater Matt Evers in the next series of the ITV show early next year.
Watkins is believed to have asked about being paired with a man, and the ITV producers were “fully supportive”.
It comes after speculation that Strictly will allow same-sex couples next year.”
I think the BBC is being uncharacteristically modest on this occasion. Those of a certain age might remember an episode of Steptoe and Son from 1970 entitled, ‘Come dancing’ where Harold (the son) is taught how to ballroom dance by his father, Albert.
If I remember, it didn’t end well.

The German shooting story could go one of two ways.
If it was islamic related, the beeb will surround it with obfuscations, excuses, motive-unknown’s, mental health’s, and rapidly disappear it, first off the front-page then altogether into oblivion.
If it turns out to be ‘far-right’ (though being East Germany, far-left might be more accurate), expect them to go into forensic detail about every aspect of it, keep it high on the agenda as long as possible, and forever return to it as proof of the ‘rise of the far-right’, amid calls to close down ‘far-right’ social media… or just ‘right’… or just slightly ‘conservative’.
I’m assuming the MSM bubble will consider it perfectly proper for the Speaker of the House of Commons to talk directly with the EU over brexit .
It is almost at the ‘ couldn’t make it up ‘ level .
I’m guessing that when the traitor parliament returns on Monday the speaker will come down to the dispatch box from his chair and address the traitors about what they need to do to obey him .
Did you know that only three other Speakers became head of state:
(1) William Lenthall from 30th January 1649 to 20th April 1653, 7th May to 12th October 1659 and 24th December 1659 to 16th March 1660.
(2) Francis Rous from 4th July to 16th December 1653. and (3) Harbottle Grimston from 25th April to 29th May 1660.
Richard
Maybe that’s what goes threw Bercows’ head . He must be so determined to ‘ leave his mark ‘ that he has lost all focus on what the function of the Speaker is .
Grieve is in there somewhere …
vlad – the ‘far right’, in the form of the AfD is possibly doing better in the old East Germany than the ‘far-left’. They’ve had their exposure to socialism, so they’re far better equipped than the ‘West’ to know what it’s all about.
For the rest, you are correct. The ‘Chemnitz incident’ from last year is still very much alive, for example. German press have, until recently, been slavishly pro-Merkel; for a very long time already, the comments sections are quite different. Strikingly, lefty journalists are bombarded with criticism on a regular basis.
This discrepancy between journalists and their readers has fascinated me for a long time.
I think there is an election later this month in the East German state of Thueringia. I will be interested to see what happens there. Sooner or later, one or more of the E German federal states will be led by an AfD government.

TOADY Watch #1 – Robinson roams
Nick Robinson has used lots of CO2 to go to Ireland to denigrate the population there (with the help of Irish Government politicians and others) as being terrorists, thugs and smugglers.
Nick Robinson has used lots of CO2 to go to Ireland to try to overturn Brexit by multiplying by many millions the paperwork require by Irish business should there be a No-Deal Brexit.
Extinction Rebellion will be upset.

Woolwich,
“there are people who think that”. Or, it is common parlance in the BBC canteens more like, in a predominantly Marxist/Socialist setting?

– Whereas his supporters say he was stitched up and the press are compliant
.. You’ve got things like the prosecutor saying
“he made no mention about the fact around 85 per cent of accused of sexual offences in the area were white”

A bit more on the stolen lorry attack in Germany. BBC quote an eyewitness report from an FNP article on the driver of the lorry: “I spoke to him. He was bleeding from his nose, his hands were bloody and his trousers torn. He said ‘my whole body hurts.'”
BBC strangely omit another eyewitness report from FNP that says the first responders included a group of joggers, including a woman whom the driver then tried to attack while speaking of Allah.
And BBC says prosecutors are investigating whether the attacker had any mental health concerns (I can’t find any reference to this from other agencies.)

Facts are sacred?

Judges have delayed their decision until 21 October because “the position ought to be significantly clearer” by then.

Time for more additions to the Brexit Dictionary.

TWatO Watch #1 – Dominic Grieve is confused

TWatO Watch #2 – Dim and dimmer

TWatO Watch #3 – Part-time pushes away the fog
Laura ‘Part-time’ Kuenssberg pops up to waft the Grievous confusion away with a simple sentence or two. It is all down to the timing. The EU’s Leaders’ Conference and the operative date of the Benn Act. Simples.
Shame that Part-time did not also explain why you cannot have a Confirmatory Referendum with Remain on the ballot paper to Hilary Benn.
I wonder why?

The BBC break that promise regularly.

Roving reporters will deliver special reports giving robust and up to the minute analysis of the headlines that really matter – Lib Dems To Get Website; Luxury Watch Successfully Impresses Fellow Bell-ends; There Is No Ball, Admit Table Tennis Players – giving a fascinating insight in to this post-truth world we live in.”
haven’t cringed at such a biased “comedy” show for a long time.

If it turns out to be ‘far-right’ (though being East Germany, far-left might be more accurate), expect them to go into forensic detail about every aspect of it, keep it high on the agenda as long as possible, and forever return to it as proof of the ‘rise of the far-right’, amid calls to close down ‘far-right’ social media… or just ‘right’… or just slightly ‘conservative’.

vlad – the ‘far right’, in the form of the AfD is possibly doing better in the old East Germany than the ‘far-left’.
