Another interesting (if startling) event from Germany: Communist Bodo Ramelow has been re-elected as Prime Minister of the Federal State of Thuringia.
Of course, he had been voted out recently, but Merkel complained (ILLEGALLY!) about the outcome, which saw a (liberal) Free Democrat elected , so the election had to be rerun. (Yes, we are talking about Berlin here, not Beijing!)
This time around her CDU abstained from voting, allowing the Communist a free run with the help of the Social Democrats and the Greens. Maybe Merkel thinks this will save her CDU from losing voters in future. In actual fact, she got what she wanted.
Co-operation between the “Christian Democrats” and Communists is now very much a feature of politics in Germany. The MSM encourage this, as it is allegedly all about keeping out the ‘far-right’ AfD (which likes sovereignty and borders, but not the EU).
Ramelow (whose party had mentioned ‘the shooting of the wealthy of Thuringia’ in parliament) refused the congratulatory handshake from the AfD candidate.
The ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine’, on the other hand, reports that the city of Gelsenkirchen is not keen on the erection of a statue of Lenin in its precincts. This had been proposed by the Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany.
Could be because the Federal state of NRW ha a large number of ‘migrants’ residing, who would propbably prefer a sickle-moon with star, rather than someone reminiscent of a sickle with hammer..?

Evan Davis is about to tell you something outrageous on beebR4, so listen up!
Greek border guard vessels apparently had the audacity to fire on prospective invaders/migrants in a boat (Bet you ten grand Evan won’t use the former term!) merely because these want to illegally flood their country.

The Turks, who have initiated and encouraged the invasion, have complained that a man was killed. (They seem to be good at invasions: Turkish troops currently occupy northern Syria, where they are helping Islamist rebels against Syrian troops supported by the Christian Russians).

Beeb’s R4 Jean McKenzie talks about three videos of Greek police warnings (which were apparently ignored) which have shocked her.
She also demands to know why a medical facility has been locked up.
Then she shows her videos to the Governor of the Greek Region concerned, who says he doesn’t like them. She very nearly dismissed him! Luckily he got no more than a tongue-lashing.

Don’t forget, they still occupy Cyprus!

Despite joining the EU as a de facto divided island, the whole of Cyprus is EU territory. Turkish Cypriots who have, or are eligible for, EU travel documents are EU citizens. EU law is suspended in areas where the Cypriot government (Government of the Republic) does not exercise effective control.

Shouldn’t the EU ‘army’ chuck the Turks out and rip up their EU membership application? They want EU law to apply to non-member UK but don’t enforce it in EU member Cyprus!

Stew – I saw that one – and who was involved . The curtailment of any residual freedom of speech now includes malicious prosecutions by the state for words like ‘poofter ‘ .

Now I thought the term ‘queer’ was offensive but some homosexual – sodomite – informed me that it was perfectly acceptable .

One of the great things about the Englishistan language is it’s ability to evolve new forms of ‘offence ‘ which is really useful in the current age of ‘offence and blame ‘ .

It’s tricky moderating because the eff word offends as does the see word – which I edit out most of the time – although some folk ‘cheat ‘ by copying tweets with pre existing naughty words in them .

But to think the CPS authorised the expenditure of time effort and money on a vindictive prosecution over the word ‘poofter’ challenged the borders of common sense and 2020 madness .

Stew – interesting stuff! It seems that the sources include Die Zeit (‘liberal’) and Der Spiegel (socialist). To them, the standard must-have prefix when speaking of the AfD is ‘far-right’.
There is truth that politics is getting nastier on all sides in Germany. When Merkel decided to open the borders in 2015, she threw a cat amongst the pigeons, and we will see feathers fly for a long time to come.
I would not reject the ‘conspiracy theory’ that she is a GDR mole. Equally possible is that she is simply a ruthless power-crazy loon who has had the benefit of operating with a large cheque book at hand, and will do ‘whatever it takes’. She likes to ‘lie low’ whenever possible, to test the direction of the wind, and let others carry the can.
I was living in Frankfurt when the wall came down and visited both Saxony and Thuringia within weeks. Sad stuff.
For years it looked to me as if the old ‘West Germany’ simply swallowed the old ‘East Germany’ whole, and paid many billions to ‘rescue’ it.
I am now beginning to think something like the reverse happened. It is not easy to distinguish clearly, but that is because German history casts a long shadow, blurring everything. Including the theory that Merkel is ‘Honecker’s revenge’.

On this site the topic is media bias, and that is far worse in Germany than in Britain. Essentially, they will now go along with yet another illegal Merkel act, for fear of doing anything that might be seen as ‘far-right’. This time it’s been her cancellation and rerun of a Federal state election, in order to keep a Commie in power. I have a copy of the G constitution on my shelf; it is now a meaningless document.

I won’t bore you now with the details, but can assure you that an examination of the previous (and probably future) cabinet in that state, makes very interesting reading. The new (and former) ruling party said openly a few days ago that they would like to shoot the wealthy, and some of those personal backgrounds to which I refer tells you they weren’t kidding.

However what is interesting is that we are importing power from France, Holland. and Belgium. 8%. Countries that use coal and nuclear in greater quantities than the UK

Also I note that Pumped Hydro (temporary solution) is on 4%
and Open Cycle Gas Turbine -(expensive gas powered temporary solution) is on 1%

I just read a report on NALOPKT says batteries and DSR may be fine for intraday smoothing, but are next to useless for covering longer shortages.

Well Roger. It looks like today could be a future “longer shortage”

Not a lot of people know that NALOPKT means Not A Lot Of People Know That.

DSR means Demand Side Response, or getting big user of electricity to reduce or shift their energy consumption away from periods of heavy demand. These ‘customers’ actually get paid for electricity that they don’t use! It is a lovely accounting scam where ‘negative’ electricity has value, even though it doesn’t exist.

Another lovely scam is to get organisations with standby diesel generation sets to run them when the grid is running short. All that lovely fossil fuel! What happens when the hospital or whatever needs to run its standby set but it is now out of fuel or clapped out?

Biden is the Globalist choice. The Globalists are scared to death of Sanders because he will seriously damage their wealth, perhaps even more than President Trump already has or will do in a second term, so their choice is Biden. The MSM will pile in behind him , cover up his rapidly advancing dementia and gross long standing corruption as far as they can. But both these weakness will be exposed by the President during the campaign. Biden is also in the pocket of the Chinese and it wouldn’t surprise me if the Chinese aren’t working even harder than the mythical Russian bots to undermine the President.

On the contrary Dover, the BBC do get it. They are part of the Globalist elite world order and want to make sure that Biden wins the nomination and defeats Trump. This is much more important to the Globalist elite than Brexit was. A further four years of Trump could see really serious damage done to the Globalist power base and their wealth. Trump is leading the world wide populist revolution and another four years could encourage voters in more countries to kick out the Globalists and put in populist governments. If enough countries do it the Globalists power will be broken and ordinary folks will get governments who represent their interests not those of the Globalist elite.

When the BBC covers news reports of this nature critiscising the BBC the presenters talk as if the BBC is some strange distant 3rd party. They never use the term “we” I think they should.
I suppose this is a feeble attempt to distance themselves from their own organisation who for years sheltered Saville, told lies about sexual abuse by MUSLIM men in Rotherham and encouraged its reporters to lie about Tommy Robinson and be the foremost peddlar of fake news in the UK, and now seems to be one of the main players in a grubby, backroom establishment plot to smear and force the sacking/ resignation of a woman who was actually elected rather than by just getting her job by virtue of a degree from the LSE and cultivating the right people and espousing the PC/BBC corporate line.

Immediately after the election I was optimistic that this government might cut the BBC down to size but I am losing hope. I my view conditions are unlikely to be as favourable again. The BBC has angered millions who voted Leave with its extreme anti Brexit bias and its ever more intrusive Woke agenda. If the Tories can’t pluck up the courage to slay the beast now they never will. In other words they are content to see our country continue down the Globalist path and/ or see our country Islamified.

There is a constantly revolving door between politics and “journalism” (though maybe it is pushing a point too much to refer to BBC news pundits as “journalists”) to let the good of the country and truth come first.

Why making Noughts & Crosses for TV felt ‘vital’

There’s a scene in the first episode of Noughts & Crosses where a young man is beaten up by a police officer because of the colour of his skin. The boy and his friends aren’t breaking the law as they are stopped and questioned, but that doesn’t stop the situation escalating into a violent altercation.

It’s an issue often debated in the news and depicted in films – but here, there is a twist. The young man is white, and the police officer is black. It’s one of several backwards scenarios presented by the TV adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s hugely successful 2001 novel, which imagines a world where white people are oppressed.

Fairly prominent on the home page is the title:

‘Five changes that happened after women took charge’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-51623420

Click on this and you get an extraordinary lump of partisan US Democrat supporting screed by Helier Cheung BBC News, Las Vegas.

‘Here are five areas Nevada legislated on in 2019 – which commentators say were helped by the fact there were more women at the table.’

So don’t expect much balance there then.

I’ll provide the balance and do it with specific UK examples. (Wiki & a quick cut n paste off the interweb will be our friend here).

‘Five changes that happened after women took charge’

    Jo Swinson
In 2019 Swinson was elected the first-ever female leader of the Liberal Democrats. Swinson launched her campaign by declaring that she was “a candidate to be prime minister”, and suggesting her party could win a majority. The party failed to make predicted gains. Swinson lost her own seat to the SNP in the general election, which, under party rules, disqualified her from continuing as leader. She had been party leader for 144 days.

    Baroness Patricia Scotland
At the 2015 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, Scotland was nominated for the position of Commonwealth Secretary-General by her native country of Dominica to become the 6th Commonwealth Secretary-General and the first woman to hold the post. In 2009 Scotland employed Lolo Tapui, an illegal immigrant. In November 2016 political blogger Guido Fawkes published extracts from leaked documents exposing Scotland’s extravagant spending on redecorating her grace and favour apartment in Mayfair, London. In January 2020, Scotland faced further criticism of her role as secretary-general of the Commonwealth for awarding a consultancy contract to a company run by a friend.

    Cressida Dick
Dick came out as a lesbian in April 2017, making her the highest-ranked lesbian officer in British police history. In the immediate aftermath of 21 July 2005 London bombings, she was the gold commander in the control room during the operation which led to the death of the Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, wrongly identified as a potential suicide bomber.

    Margaret Beckett
She was the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party under John Smith and briefly served as interim Leader of the Labour Party after Smith died suddenly. She later served in the Cabinet under Prime Minister Tony Blair in a number of roles, becoming Britain’s first female Foreign Secretary in 2006. Beckett was found to have claimed £600 for hanging baskets and pot plants by The Daily Telegraph in the 2009 expenses scandal. As she had no mortgage or rent outstanding it was queried how she managed to claim £72,537 on a house in her constituency when she was renting out her London flat and living in a grace and favour flat. Mrs Beckett was booed on TV as she tried to defend claiming for a second home in Derbyshire, while living in a Whitehall grace-and-favour residence. Audience members on Question Time branded it a “scandal” and heckled the minister when she refused to pay back the taxpayers’ money.

    Natalie Bennett
Baroness Natalie Bennett is a British politician and journalist. She led the Green Party from September 2012 to September 2016. Bennett was given a peerage in Theresa May’s 2019 resignation honours. In February 2015, an interview with Bennett regarding the funding of house-building on LBC was described by her as “absolutely excruciating”. In the halting interview on LBC in which she struggled to explain how her party would pay for 500,000 new council homes it is pledging to build. She told Nick Ferrari the policy would cost £2.7bn, prompting the presenter to ask: “Five hundred thousand homes – £2.7bn? What are they made of – plywood?” Bennett came third in the election to the Labour and Conservative candidates, and in 2016, at the end of her second two-year term, did not stand for re-election as leader.

I should conclude that I don’t have a particular down on women. I just don’t have the unbalanced (in both senses of the word) desire to promote them when – and often just because – they promote leftist politics.

Where are the wurld klass gernaliss when you need them ?

Tommy took his kids and his wife to Centre Parcs for a fun-filled day, what Tommy wasn’t expecting that day was a struggle in the swimming pool leading to his arrest.

Tommy’s little girl is only eight years old; she went to Centre Parcs excited to spend time with her mum, her dad and her siblings. A day of fun ended up being a nightmare for an innocent little girl, spoiled by the predatory perversions of a child molesting nonce.

Tommy’s daughter was playing in the shallow end of the “children’s” swimming pool at Centre Parcs, a middle-aged man grabbed her bum as he walked past, he didn’t say a word, he didn’t even look at her. Tommy’s little girl was in shock; she got straight out of the pool and told her dad.

It was the right thing to do!

As parents, we educate our children about the dangers of “stranger danger”. Unfortunately, there are nasty men and women in this world and sometimes, no matter how educated and aware our children are, they are still vulnerable little people. Vulnerable to the sexual predations of child molesting nonces.

A Dad Looking Out For His Daughter
Tommy immediately questioned his little girl about what happened so that he could ascertain whether or not something terribly wrong had happened, to his shock it did. His daughter confirmed that a strange man squeezed her bottom cheek as he walked past her. Tommy then got his daughter to identify the Centre Parcs pervert.

As any decent father would do, Tommy challenged the man who squeezed his daughters bum, with gritted teeth, giving the man the chance to explain the situation. Tommy was gobsmacked, the man admitted to pinching his daughters bum “by mistake”.

    By mistake?
How does a middle-aged man pinch an eight-year-old girls bum by mistake? Did he intend to pinch someone else’s daughters bum by mistake? How do you mistakenly squeeze a child’s bum in a swimming pool?

Tommy now realised he stood in front of a wrongun, a man who seems to think it’s ok to squeeze little girls bums in a Centre Parcs swimming pool.

Tommy wanted to make sure this man was brought to the attention of security staff and the Police, sexually molesting children is not on, there are no justifiable reasons for acting in such a way. The man tried to walk away, but Tommy wouldn’t let him, the man then struggled with Tommy, grabbing him by the throat and neck as he did. After the struggle, the man ended up with a bleeding nose, there were witnesses to the altercation.

    Tommy Robinson Neck Injury
Tommy’s Neck Injury After Dealing With A Nonce At Centre Parcs

The Police were called by Centre Parcs security staff, Tommy waited three hours for them to arrive. After the Police interviewed Tommy’s wife and his daughter, they confirmed the man admitted to grabbing his daughters bum.

You would think at this point the child molester would be arrested, carted away and interrogated further at a Police station. But this story comes with a twist; no the offender was not arrested at all, the Police even confirmed this to Tommy at the time. The child molester complained about the “injuries he suffered” during the struggle. Because there were witnesses corroborating the offender’s complaint, Police arrested Tommy instead and charged him with common assault in the end.

    https://www.tr.news/centre-parcs-child-molesting-nonce-has-tommy-arrested/?mc_cid=2f9dced050&mc_eid=74938678f8

If there were two lessons to take away from this terrible experience, it would be that little girls think by telling the truth, they will get their daddy’s arrested and sent to prison. Secondly, it gives a disturbing insight as to how Police deal with child sex offenders, the offender being let off, the child victim left with the feeling of not being taken seriously or believed, and the dad, the protector, punished for doing what a dad should do.

Now we can see how and why vulnerable girls all across the UK have no confidence in the Police. And why the Rape of Britain happened.

    What a disgrace!

What we don’t know was whether these men knew that she was Tommy’s daughter. Had Tommy been followed? The men would have known that Tommy would react, or even just an opportunity to get at Tommy by molesting his daughter. Of all the children in the pool it was Tommy’s daughter that was touched.

His name will have to be on the charge and made public – although I am sure that there will be a ‘ reporting restriction’ .

His name and details should be in the public domain but the MSM just collectively want TR dead . They seem to have a track record of driving those in the public eye to ‘ off ‘ themselves as evidenced by the recent tears shed about some TV presenter I’ve never heard of before she deaded herself .

The State will use this political trial to put more stress on TR and his family. That’s what dissent amounts to now . They’ll probably throw in another couple of charges and send it to the old Bailey for a proper show trial .

The judge will be specially selected as well – probably an ethnic with a ‘human rights ‘background . They’ll be queuing up to judge and prosecute because it’s good for the CV and the next step up the sordid legal ladder.

I hope I’m wrong . But my view is based on what happened last time . TR needs really good legal defence . And might consider a private prosecution against the alleged sex offender . Bedfordshire Police won’t be prosecuting by the look of it .

Deborah, that’s what has been going through my mind too. I don’t believe in coincidences.

Bedfordshire police have waged a vendetta against Tommy Robinson. Also, the delay in arriving at Centre Parcs may have been deliberate because they wanted, expected and/ or hoped Tommy would attack the ‘ Asian’ man which would give the police, the CPS and the judiciary the excuse to lock him up again.

I fully expect them to jail him when he goes to trial in April and if so, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a severe backlash from not only his supporters but normal decent people with children.

I also hope there is a response to the sub-human slime posing as journalists who lied about what happened. The likes of that fat freak, Mike Graham on TalkRadio need to be reprimanded for their callousness.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the nonce has to give evidence against TR. The CPS would surely need his evidence to secure a conviction – how will they deal with that? Give him anonymity? I believe that would only be possible if there were active proceedings against him. Maybe they will blurr a few lines and grant him anonymity on the basis of protecting his own safety? An interesting case and how the state handles it will be highly illustrative of what lies ahead for all of us.

Perhpas this is a time when the Home Secretary should intervene in respect to the extraordinary action that the Police took against Tommy Robinson and not against the perpustrator of the assault against TR’s daughter. The Police are responsibel to the Home Secretary.
No matter what his colour maybe or his Religious beliefs or his ideological concepts to the treatment of the female sex; think we would all agree that the full force of the Judiciary be thrown at this child molester. If not as has been mentioned the law and its enforcers will be badly damaged.

    @GretaThunberg
”The difference is about the same as a decade of fossil fuel emissions from the UK, Germany, France and Canada put together.”
Tropical forests are rapidly losing their ability to absorb carbon.

Or about the same as China – you know Greta, that country you seem to ignore in your ‘Chucky on the Mount’ sermons.

Did anyone see Andrew Neil skewer the 2 favourites for the labour party leadership last night?

Comedy gold – Starmer was asked (and I paraphrase) “Doesn’t the party need a leader with some fire in his belly and a little charisma instead of you?” – the poundshop Swiss Tony’s confusion was a delight to behold.

We then had the waxwork RLB with her trademark permanently surprised eyebrows but minus the spectacles that she thinks make up for her lack of intellect.

AN challenged her boast that she formulated most of the policies that were in the manifesto (you know the manifesto that was so roundly rejected by most of the country) – when AN pointed out that said manifesto was just too radical for most voters to stomach she then argued that it was not at all radical (despite the front page of it boldly stating that “our manifesto is the most radical in modern times”).

We then had a really odd couple of minutes where AN quizzed her about her time “working as a solicitor for the NHS” (she was actually working as a junior commercial property lawyer at a firm in Manchester) during which she tried in vain to stop AN in his tracks by raising the palm of her right hand to him like a policeman directing traffic.

The upshot of the conversation was that she though labour had all the right answers – it was just that the electorate was asking all the wrong questions.

Mr Dowden is obviously aware of how sensitive the BBC is to criticism in any form – despite it shovelling out poison by the lorry load when it suits ( see Priti) .

So the use of the term ‘ diversity of thinking ‘ is about the most moderate criticism the BBC is likely to accept .

Even with that I think mr dowden will be on the receiving end of some BBC orchestrated propaganda come the weekend . Perhaps he was naughty at school or similar ….

Boris needs to come down hard on all these lefties who are trying to get Priti sacked.
If they succeed with her then they will move on to the next. Probably Cummings.
Then, they will work their way through all of the other tories/brexiteers because they never stop.

It’s like the democrats in America.
Instead of doing their job as politicians they have spent all their time trying to get rid of Trump and his supporters.
How much has this cost the American taxpayer just because the democrats didn’t get their own way.

So it is with our parliament.
The lefties including the bbc and their paper, the Guardian, plus all the woke lot and the luvvies are a really nasty gang.
Digging up something their current figure of hate may have said decades ago and then getting outraged about whatever it was.
If Boris had farted in a lift when he was 10 they would probably be demanding his resignation.

They should grow up, accept they lost (as we do when labour get in) and go about their day jobs looking after constituents.
Any genuine concerns (like the Corbyn 19 virus) can be tackled in parliament and be held to account there but hurty words from Priti (not Bercow though, he’s on their side so he can say what he wants) should not be taking up so much politicians time.

By the way, that rutman looks like a proper lefty loser.
