“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter”. A quote from 1965 which could have been made for this website – if a little over dramatic . It was written by an American – but I bet Martin Luther King would never have thought someone would use it about the BBC ….

LOL. It’s all unravelling for Piers !!!
Literally hundreds of tweets and hours on GMB spent ranting about Dominic Cummings and his drive with his family and how irresponsible it was and he should lose his job. He never stopped tweeting for days about it. Then this about Barry Gardiner
But proud of his son for attending !!!! The sheer hypocrisy is just astounding.

Piers Morgan has always been an utter cockwomble.
Needs reminding occasionally why he was sacked from the far left scum media Daily Mirror, for faking photos of British troops ‘apparently’ committing war crimes.
Horrid individual.

What’s going on? Has the rioting ceased – abruptly? I caught the 0800 “News” on Toady and listened intently for any and all news of the rioting. Nothing. Needless to say, that raises suspicions it being our “Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster”, the BBC. Has there been a propaganda/emphasis change or, have the reporters been confined to base in fear of being assaulted? Before my day moves on and I absorb more reliable news off the internet this will be the burning question.
Meanwhile, listeners were treated to an interview with the mercurial imp, Bliar. He gave a totally confusing message about testing (did anybody spot it?). The Soros’ marionette clearly said that both tests for the chinese virus were available and even private individuals were purchasing for self-testing. But at the end of the very long interview when our Justin was trying to close Bliar down, he said (of which test I don’t recall), “…..the Government should be scouring the World to obtain the test kits…..”. Or words to that effect. So, perhaps the tests are not as readily available as Bliar suggests.
Meanwhile in the Land of Garden Gnome leadership we hear that the Scottish Government had been informed in 2018 that should a pandemic occur there would be a shortage of PPI. And did nothing.
Amazing how long it takes for leading BBC reporters to travel to Scotland to interview the Garden Gnome and ask if she’s going to resign………………………..

Well it is interesting that Scotland chooses the most unattractive person both physically and in personality to represent themselves, but for a nation that invented black pudding as a food and a military that enjoy knifing each other while they fight the English they do have a strong track record in shooting themselves up the kilt
I do like the Broons though, and Campbeltown has its charms, like Springbank whisky

Darcy3,
The Broons – I think it used to said by artists working in the British comics strip industry that the left-handers among them could always travel north to Dundee and be assured of getting a job with DC Thomson – because they could share an inkpot with the right-hander sitting next to them.

How times change Fed. I was castigated by my dad as a child in the 50’s, when I referred to a ‘black’ person. He said that it was rude (you see how I was taught manners at an early age !) and I should use the term ‘coloured’. Then when the rules changed, I felt uncomfortable using the term ‘black’ – no wonder we’re all basket cases !

The absolute 1984 control is already in place where a simple word is illegal, a word that refers linguistically to a colour the N word but, if a black person uses it that is ok,
A genuine dystopian situation where anyone white who says that word will probably be jailed
there are those, undoubtedly that are racist by nature but there are also many many people who just want black people to shut up and get on with their life
EVERY child in this country is given an opportunity to have a free education
if they choose to admire black gansta rap rather than education and find themselves disenfranchised, whos fault is that ?
Funny that we have few chinese people in this country complaining
Chinese fathers do not seem to want to inseminate every white girl they can
they tend to want a family and their children do not attack police

‘Coloured’ was the polite term in the UK until the ‘Black Power’ movement started in the USA.
Then, as now, the race industry and the BBC here were quick to import the term here so, like it or not, those pour souls who came here on the Empire Windrush and later ships and aircraft, (by choice), became ‘blacks’ too, they didn’t get to choose their ‘label’. (Actually the idea that the ‘subject’ gets to choose has never been true, it is those who construct the taxonomy).
The ‘nigger’ word, just a variant of ‘black’ anyway, never had much use here, ‘wog’ being ‘the British way’, (See Fawlty Towers for the Major’s excellent definition!).
It’s all nonsense anyway, the agitators just try to change the language to ‘wrong foot’ their opponents. In the land of the ‘blacks’, the USA, they still have their NAACP, no guesses what the ‘C’ stands for and, as many have noted, the darker Britons freely use the imported ‘n-word’ in their ‘music’.
The real joke in the UK is the invention of the ‘BAME’ term as it puts the minority of minorities first and the majority of minorities second. It is even more ridiculous when one considers that high-class Indians/Pakistanis aspire to be considered ‘white’ and if the BBC/Guardian think that the white, working class Brexit voters don’t like ‘blacks’ they should listen to a few of their favoured ‘brown-eyed’ boys on the subject. (We turn a blind eye if a ‘black’ looks at a bonde bimbo; if a ‘black’ were to as much as glance at one of the ‘Asian’ lasses it is only a matter of moments before brothers and cousins turn up in cars, along with baseball bats, probably as a show of BAME ‘solidarity’!).

Bris – I also have a big problem with the way colour is used as a prime identifier – it takes away the individual and just depicts a nice convenient grouping .

I don’t know where to start in picking out the bias in this piece of anti American propaganda. But I am more convinced than ever that this is not merely the work of a few Trots in the BBC but is backed by the forces than control the British State.
Worth noting remarks to the effect that President Trump’s MAGA slogan is presented as a call to return to the US’s worst aspect of racism.
This stuff is not BBC alone; its the UK state.

So, after days and days of ‘experts’ telling us that wearing masks would not give the protection needed, we’re now told we have to wear face coverings on public transport !
Ha ! ha ! I wonder what the plonker professor in Reading thinks now, when he was interviewed day after day by Adam Boulton when the wearing of masks was a major topic, and he said there was no benefit from wearing one. Dear God, preserve us from the ‘experts’.

I notice that, when you are a ‘protestor’, you are apparently within your rights to commit any number of what would have been offences, were any individual to commit them:
i.a. assaulting people, damaging public property, blocking public thoroughfares, preventing other people from going about their lawful business, trespassing, defacing public memorials, causing a public disturbance, etc.
All of this eagerly encouraged by the ‘media’. And we are supposedly ‘under the Law’? We are supposedly what the Germans would call a ‘Rechtsstaat’ i.e. A Legalstate? That’s an awful lot of laws, conveniently suspended for the virtue-signallers? Doesn’t it make you sick? Isn’t there something very wrong with our ‘Rechstaat’? Like a lot of ‘looking the other way’ when convenient?
One law for them and…

On Classic fm news at 10:00 it said,’ after George Ffloyd’s death there have been mainly peaceful protests’ . Now my point isn’t that this is a complete inversion of the truth but that it is a complete inversion of what was being said by the same news organisation only a few days ago. It also seems to be the case on most other news networks , not that I watch them much. Previously much was being made that America was in flames , cities were burning as the ‘protesters’ vented their righteous anger. Of course the ‘protesters’ were never condemned, indeed they were praised, but much was made of the feeling of anger and that President Trump had lost control and was a major part of the problem.
Now the narrative has changed and the violence is being played down. Why? I suspect that the MSM has realised that ordinary voters in the US are frightened of the violent mob stirred up by the democrats and the MSM and moving into Trump’s camp. Believe nothing that issues from the MSM .

No, no, NO Mishal. Off switch activated.

I would point out that Covid-19 is no respecter of persons as far as infection goes. Barnet had a very high proportion of infections as did Brent, with very different ethnic make up and also of affluence. The Boroughs that you would expect to have an ethnically high rate of infection, Newham, Tower Hamlets, for example, did not.
I cannot be blamed for suspecting that is why the BBC changed their data access here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51768274 because that page – when you could type in a place name – made it easy to check that that ‘Covid-19 is racist’ claim is entirely false.

I go to the bottom** and work up, (like the BBC?), it is all relative.
‘Ordered’ comments only work if no-one gets to make a reply.
[** The ‘recent comments’ is a good starting point, but that method gets messed up if someone has made a reply particularly if it is to an old thread, that can be really confusing if one doesn’t watch the dates!]

TOADY Watch #2 – it is all coming unravelled for the BBC
First item I heard on 8 a.m. News was about deaths in Brazil and the suggestion that President Bolsanaro was ‘managing the news agenda’ by revealing the death count (It’s the infection count that counts, BBC!) later in the day after the evening news.
First class, top grade hypocrisy there from the BBC!
The BBC have managed the news agenda about Covid-19 infections, making it more difficult to access information from different areas, presenting information in different ways and formats. I noticed a change just last night here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51768274.
That is the third or fourth change the BBC have made to that page. (Yes, I know the header photo changes every day.)
BBC, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Or are you wanting to attack President Bolsanaro of Brazil? Understandable. Another Conservative President, like President Trump of the USA.
Political neutrality at the BBC? What neutrality?

That really is a feature of BBC/soviet propaganda – if it approves of someone or something the presenter becomes all excited and upbeat – eg the Burmese lady they thought so much of …. once …
But if it someone or something the BBC collective editorial view doesn’t like – they’ll present it in the worse possible way – surname instead of title eg President – just those little signals to tell us what to think .
Lastly …
—-it’s good to see that the Mail on line at least have shown the Vandalised statue in Whitehall being cleaned by our chaps while they were being harassed by a snowflake identified as some believed to be called Shelby Alwani Who is thought to work at the Chelsea college of art .
Both this lady and members of her family have exited social media and a former employer disowned her after the ‘Twitter storm ‘ she so rightly deserves .
I identified the statue incorrectly last night – it wasn’t – thankfully the cenotaph – which the third world protesters did climb all over – but it was the statue to Earl Butcher Haig – of whom I am not the greatest fan …..and if fate had gone another way – would have happily sent my granddad to his death ….

Yes, Fed – it is the Soviet era in the UK now with the BBC. You have to use the same skill set that Russians and others living in the Communist Bloc had to use to read between the lines to understand what was truly being said and going on in the world.

TOADY Watch # 3 – Further unravelling, oh dear, oh dear.
Mention of President Trump leads to another item on the 8 a.m. News. The BBC have been using hydroxycloroquine to ‘beat up on’ President Trump. Mocking him for taking it – although that is not what he actually said. The clip they played at the time was – hilariously for the listener – was quite clear. The President was “thinking’ of taking it.”
Anyone who knows anything about US politiics and the White House knows that there is a Doctor on hand there who would not allow the President to take an unsafe drug. The BBC made much of a study that hydroxycloroquine was unsafe to use. The BBC did not question how it could be unsafe for Covid-19 patients while being safe at the same time and endorsed by drug regulators for use by malaria sufferers.
Instead, the BBC used this study – with BBC added superlatives about its thoroughness – to mock President Trump and imply that the President was being irresponsible.
Oh dear! The study has been pulled. The claim that hydroxycloroquine is unsafe for Covid-19 patients is itself unsafe. The authors of the study have pulled it because they used data that cannot be verified. Interestingly there is no mention of this on the BBC Home and News Pages as I write. I wonder why?
I also wonder what other unsafe studies and reports does the BBC rely on or promote?

This wry thought ‘I also wonder what other unsafe studies and reports does the BBC rely on or promote?’ had only just flitted across my brain, or more correctly between one ear and the other as there is not much to impede travel of same, when the Horror Bin came up on the news to say that because May had been the hottest evvah in the UK the Global Temperature had gone up a whopping 0.63 of a °. Believe that if you will. Don’t think he mentioned the scale used. He certainly did not mention from what and when to what and when. Scientific?
No, the BBC don’t do science.
They do do racism though. And anti-Conservatism, pro-Socialism. But not science. Although like Stew, I do enjoy listening to and endorse Jim Al-Khalili’s programme on R4 on Tuesdays when I am in a BBC listening mood which is not often these days.
