Protective equipment has gone up around the Winston Churchill monument, the Cenotaph, George Washington statue and James ll statue ahead of this weekend’s BLM demonstration in central London.

    https://www.rt.com/uk/491591-courts-fast-track-protester-prosecutions/

According to The Times The UK government reportedly ordered courts to treat unruly protesters, rioters, and vandals to “24-hour justice,” calling on magistrates to “fast-track” their legal proceedings amid ongoing demonstrations over police brutality.

Who should the police be targeting given that it is intended for those committing acts of vandalism, arson, or assaults on police?

My question is who WILL the police be targeting?

“…ordered courts to treat unruly protesters, rioters, and vandals to “24-hour justice,” calling on magistrates to “fast-track””

Surely that means that they will be released with a warning 24 hours earlier than they would normally be?

Those of us who get our news from outside the MSM knew about this yesterday. And “Seattle protest zone” is up there with “mostly peaceful”. You know where this is going. Trump will be forced to deal with the violence but he will be branded the instigator.

Is the media truly blind to what it is stoking up? There has to be a reckoning at the end of this. It really can’t go on. The media companies all need to be broken up as they are now acting as a homogeneous body.

“ Trump told to back off Seattle’s Chaz police-free zone”
Apparently the leaders of this newly formed protester utopia have posted armed guards to defend their border from those hostile to them. The old stereotype about irony eh. I also read that the homeless that were invited in have made off with all the food. Good luck when it comes to waste management and filling pot holes.

Hey, Starmer, Nandy, Abbott, Lammy… any whacky new ideas we can borrow?

Paul Staine’s site order-order.com links to an article by the supposedly conservative leaning, apparently pro-Brexit, journo Tim Montgomery. Incongruously, you may think, he writes in the Left-leaning Fabian-founded New Statesman. The thrust of his argument is an attack on Boris.

Our Tim is careful not to directly attack certain Tory sacred cows. He praises Margaret Thatcher – well, her first few years in office when, we are told, she listened to contrary voices.

The critique of Johnson is a pretty comprehensive and personal assault.

But one scours our Tim’s piece in a search for any actual substantial policy differences he has with the current PM.

All one finds is this line:

‘Johnson was not like this when he ran London. He was an upbeat, inclusive mayor who embraced issues such as climate change, same-sex marriage and the living wage before other Tories’

He we go again. What does our Tim demand? More social liberalism coupled with the embrace of slow-motion socialism.

Hey, Starmer, Nandy, Abbott, Lammy… any whacky new ideas we can borrow?

I have a scientific theory. All I need is a bookshelf behind my head and a BBC Ch4 interviewer.
1, Bames suffer more from China Virus because of a genetic based problem with their skin .
    2. Bames suffer more from exposure to symbols, like statues, certain images and certain words because of a genetic problem with their skin.

The question for science is to determine whether it is the same genetic problem for both conditions and how it can be treated.

For me this is a paradigm shift as I have always believed that skin does not matter and like Martin Luther King wrongly believed that character was more important.
The evidence is there. Turn on the TV and listen to Bames recounted their pain.

There was a painter and decorator on Toady this morning. He can’t get financial help from the government. ‘Oh, you won’t be able to get hold of supplies’ assumptive question. Yesterday, in Wakefield, both of the trade paint outlets were open (got a receipt from one of ’em). If you need money then go and do some work.

UNN News just tell me that it was because of Nigel Farages comments on BLM that he left LBC Radio. I’m speculating but when (if) chastised for his comments, he probably told them to, ‘shove it’. I sincerely hope so.

In the same vein, I now hear that UK Television has removed one of the Fawlty Towers series. The one that included the German scene – ‘We don’t talk about the War’.

This is what happened in the US after HBO withdrew ‘Gone with the Wind’ –

It seems there was a mad rush to acquire the DVD which made someone a lot of money – Certainly not HBO.

This is a continuing war against the ordinary sensible people and it can only end one way. Certainly before the lunatic fringe come for you and I personally: that is sure at the end of this track.

Also on Toady this morning – a discussion about how all the different rules and guidelines are confusing for many people and businesses (and schools).
One simple solution could be a 1 yard (metre?) rule for people aged 16 and over. You can do anything so long as you stay 1 yard away from everybody else. And if you are aged under 16, who cares what you do – you ain’t gonna get it and you ain’t gonna pass it on.

This shows how little people seem to know about our history. You only have to listen to any of the daytime quiz shows to see how little seems to be taught. Questions than an average primary school child in the 50’s or 60’s could answer in a heartbeat are a mystery now. I remember being at school in the 60’s having history teachers who had experienced the second world war which gave great insights on the sacrifices. Nothing beats hearing from eye witnesses.

Words actually fail me !!! That is a absolutely disgusting statement . He should be removed from office immediately for a statement like that !!

The Isle of Man radio presenter who dared to question white privilege and Farage who quite rightly likened the bringing down of statues to the Taliban were both removed from post with immediate effect so how can the Mayor of London issue what is basically a “race baiting, racist” statement and remain in office ?

He says 62 officers injured … yes, in the protests YOU endorsed and by YOUR protesters !!!

Here’s an idea for a very long running campaign, but one that would at least start to restore some balance and i think may have public appeal: It is a campaign for The Telegraph and Guardian to have equal representation in the BBC’s news editorial team and equal programming control. In anticipation of mass squabbling, they might simply get an equal share of programming time and budget; or a channel each. The argument is made on the ground of a) failed impartiality in the BBC and institutional discrimination against conservative position b) trust in the BBC, c) diversity and fair representation of viewership/listenership.

Even if you lose the end game, it is a publicity stunt that raises awareness of the biases at play.

In Brexit, the BBC were haplessly biased, but even a constantly hamstrung and cobbled representation of the Brexit position managed to see it prevail. That should give hope. But right now, there isn’t even a chink of light for an opposing view on BLM et al.

(Based on Ofcom’s data on public trust in media) I think many today still say they trust the BBC simply because of the reason of “why shouldn’t they?” What could they possibly be saying that is biased about the George Floyd incident, without realising there is an entirely different argument on it and on the BLM than than the one that the BBC runs: Floyd was black. Floyd was murdered. Poloceman white. This happens more than once. Police are racist. American society must be racist. BLM good….

It is amazing on how thick people are. “Oh, I never thought about it like that,” they say.
