Midweek Thread 17 June 2020

We are witnessing the BBC morphing from a wholly biased anti British anti Right anti Judeo Christian propaganda machine into an undeclared Campaigning Operation without any controls or accountability. Its journalists AKA campaigners now preach from pulpits in the TV Studios on a daily basis ;
“ holding power to account” is now just a meaningless phrase for the BBC . Time to End it .

How important is it to be honest about how we teach history?
Should we include more teaching of black history and the negative sides to Britain’s history?
It’s as campaigners have said protests will continue while the controversial statue of colonialist Cecil Rhodes remains at Oriel College in Oxford.

Thanks for this one, Guest Who. I liked the following, from one “Springmellon”, reacting to the Comment Central piece:

“70%+ of the output is repeats. When it’s not repeats it’s mostly low grade trash. As a source of news and current affairs it is so discredited as to be worthless. The nature shows are one long insufferable finger wag about global warming. Even when it puts some money in to a quality drama it’s guaranteed that it will be ruined by the insertion of some leaden political agenda.

Nobody should be forced to pay not to watch incredibly poor content while having a political agenda stuffed down their throat.

If the Government is too cowardly for a frontal assault then the best way forward would be decriminalize the Licence [sic] Fee and set the fines low. When the Licences [sic] start [to] get cancelled en masse, the BBC will be begging to switch to a subscription model.”

“Calls Grow for Raab to Quit”
There are growing calls for Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to resign after saying he would not ‘Take the Knee’, thereby giving implicit support for slavery, police brutality and the murder of black people. He also said that he would only do so for the Queen and his wife, thereby also showing his support for the monarchy and patriarchy, which are also issues opposed by Black Lives Matter More.

On Thursday, a confused Labour spokesperson said “How embarrassing. Isn’t he interested in US politics? (btw, he could have asked his civil servants where it comes from & they would have told him). And no, I don’t know what US politics has to do with Premier League football and ripping down statues in the UK, either.”

“Calls Grow for Raab to Quit” – a headline coming soon to the BBC.

I’m getting so angry about this assumption that everyone must agree with BLM. Every news item that I hear carries this assumption.

I don’t have TV and only have about 10% attention on the radio. Is this the universal attitude in the media, on the chatty sofa programmes and the current affairs programmes? Does no one at all ever point out that BLM is an anarchist marxist organisation and racist in itself so no reasonable person should support it? Has no one read out what’s on their website? Does no one read the actual crime statistics instead of lazily assuming that all white police go hunting black folks to shoot for a bit of recreation?

And then there’s that other matter of the ‘racist’ statues. Is there no discussion of the role of African tribes and Arabs in slavery such that, logically, all the mosques should be demolished?

On the Radio 4 news late last night, some soppy voiced newsreader announced the footballers bending the knee in their BLM tee shirts and Oriel college intending to get rid of Rhodes statue. Her tone of voice was one of subdued joy and approval, as if she knew that all right thinking people would be pleased about it. It was the tone of the headmistress of a primary school reporting that all the children were behaving nicely now.

Mmmmmm. Interesting, a case of clear bias by comparison of approach.

Caught by chance on BBC news channel Wee Krankie’s coronavirus briefing, where she announced the relaxation of the Scotland CV19 rules.

She speaks too quickly but I have to say she presented well and went through a lot of detail, and admitted that the new rules are necessarily complex and that there are sure to be a myriad of situations not explicitly covered.

Here’s the thing. Can you imagine the BBC attitude if Boris did this?
What whingeing would they come up with? What line would Doomsberg, Knobsob, Useless, and the rest take?
    Choose from…..

    Too complex.
    Confusing.
    A shambles.
Does not cover wheelchair bound black transgender people who want to use the toilet.
    Not enough detail.
Goes too far and will put people at risk.
    Does not go far enough.

You just absolutely know the BBC would be instantly hammering away, looking to undermine at every conceivable opportunity.

But when it comes to Wee Krankie, it’s a different story. In fact there was no story at all. At the end, zero commentary. ‘And now, over to the weather’.

A clearer case of bias would be hard to identify

reasons he would go down on one knee I knew he would
be in “stueck” (trouble) You may call this an anachronism
but this going down on one knee is a latter day anarchist salute!
So just as the England football team in 1938 made their

It is now going to be expected for footballers in every league

In 1980 Euston Films (makers of The Sweeney) made a now long-forgotten puppet TV movie called Stainless Steel And The Star-Spies. It was basically a spoof of the likes of Star Trek, with it’s notions of limitless power via Matter and Anti-Matter – except that in Stainless Steel the two states the universe was divided into were Matter. . . and Don’t-Matter.
In the current MSM universe, the white working-class are definitely made of Don’t-Matter.

When the owner was asked by black customers about the danger of being shot by police, he quoted the then recent incident when a black man told officers “I have a gun.”
He continued to explain that this can sound like a threat to nervous police officers, so it’s much better to say, “I am a licensed gun owner.”
Gun ownership in the U.S. is a minefield for police and public alike.

Pope Gaga the First (or Papa Gaga as I affectionately think of him) calls for “establishment of pathways” for hundreds of thousands of Muslim migrants to settle in Europe.

That’s right Papa, as if we don’t have enough problems without inviting more.

Meanwhile the useless globalist socialist Pope ignores the fate of thousands of Christians throughout the muslim world who are victimised, persecuted, tortured or murdered every day.

Even the creepy Guardian called it genocide. I eagerly await worldwide outrage and riots. Oh I forgot, Christian Lives Don’t Matter.

I believe that there is underground activity going on via directives issued by Activist organisations to “followers” employed in various industries which I find sinister.

I am involved in the creative industry through self-employment and have been for many years.

This morning I coincidentally have had two emails from two different USA based content library companies for photos and illustration etc. I have both bought and sold content from these in the past.

Both emails carry virtually the same message or perhaps better described as instructions.

The messages are highly political pushing me to get behind both the BLM and LGBT causes in any way I can through both my creative submissions, purchases and personal behaviour.

This sort of partisan action is at least creepy and certainly has no place in any open business dealings.

My guess is that brainwashed “plants” are being carefully placed into businesses that have an online presence or reputation and these “plants”, usually I guess typically university graduates in the marketing departments etc. are trying to “socially engineer” their employers by using the threat or fear of being called out as racist or any other of the totally bollox trigger-words they use.

We have all seen companies ‘adapt’ either their message or brands after facing pressure but this is a new and much harder attack from within the companies themselves.

I expect to see this trend grow.

The only way to fight back is with your wallet. It will take a rising awareness of what is going on behind the scenes to encourage ordinary folk to boycot any company who agrees to bow down to these dangerous people.

Everything I describe here has already been in operation within the BBC and other infested MSM organisations.

Needless to say I have today removed all my content from both these outfits and requested they close my account. I will of course not be buying or selling through either again.

Is there anyone, I mean anyone at all, in the present government that actually possesses testicles…with the possible (metaphorical) exception of the very pretty, Priti?
Dominic Raab actually said something this morning that I agreed with. “Taking the knee suggests subjugation…” Yep, 100 percent!

Now the pathetic sap is backtracking. “Oh, of course I have the utmost respect for Black Lives Matter and I support their aims…” Why? Has this feeble specimen not read their manifesto? They want to overturn democracy. They want to rewrite our history. These creatures are ultra left-wing anarchists. Their interest in black lives is purely for convenience.
It panders to the perennial grievance mongering that some blacks seem to enjoy having and it feeds the hideous and severely creepy liberal guilt that a lot of white middle class pseuds try to inflict on the rest of us.

Don’t ever backtrack, it will never be enough. Already Raab’s toe-curling attempt at explanation has created another big push telling him “It’s not enough!”

I’m afraid that our pathetic and appeasing government are part of the problem. These anarchists only respect strength. They know they’re pushing at an open door. The recent film I saw about Churchill was pretty poor, but it did have a really good line that summed up his attitude to the Nazis. “You don’t negotiate with a tiger when your head is in its mouth.”

Perhaps someone should quote that line to Raab…

I’m not surprised at all. Got to admire his honesty though. I concluded some while ago that many in our current Labour Government were supporters of the Marxist philosophy. For Raab to admit that support for Marxism and the destruction of (in effect) the Western World, indirectly, is no surprise to me. Like the US political elite, they’ve been assiduously working at it for decades.

I wonder why no mass circ newspaper has dared to put a screen shot on the front page of the BLM agenda which is on their website fund raising page. At least it was n June 10th.
      This agenda includes
      # the dismantling of imperialism (?) , they can’t mean the UK as we gave it up seventy years ago.
      # the overthrow of capitalism , which of course has increased the standard of living of billions of people in the past century.
      # the dismantling of state structures
      # the overthrow of the patriarchy , I assume they don’t mean white monogamous marriage but the Muslim version where men are worth much more than women.

I don’t suppose many of those who are giving money to BLM have idea that they are funding Marxists intent on destroying their way of life. The world is full of useful idiots.

Doob – there was an article in the mail yesterday – Wednesday – which I think someone here put a link on – about the tax avoidance scheme Lineker was involved in .

Now – although I’m an amateur – I love tax avoidance schemes – so I had a look at the case decision which went against Lineker and his socialist lovely friends …….
Like a lot of tax avoidance schemes they look complicated but once they are boiled down you can see that people take part just to avoid tax – as did Lineker …
Don’t get me wrong – I admire anyone who can avoid tax – but I don’t admire those profess false social justice schemes but avoid their civic responsibility pay paying the taxes needed to keep the public services they love going .

I’d just like to see taxes used effectively and public money not wasted or stolen – such as with DFID .

I have this crazy image in my head regarding the football match last night, where the ref blew his whistle, and everybody genuflected to BLM mania.

The image in my mind is one guy, not cowed by these totalitarians, refusing to prostrate himself before the hypocrites, suddenly running forward, dribbling the ball up the field and scoring – after all, hadn’t the referee technically started the match by blowing his whistle ?

Or, perhaps, this was just another, different, virtue-signalling gesture, surely to be followed by many others of a similar ilk, each trying to out-do the others in their cringe-making, shameful, obeisance to the new gods ?
